Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Fantastic resort and complex!

We had a fantastic trip! Highlights include: - stayed in renovated rooms closer to the beach - thoroughly enjoyed breakfasts at the restaurant by the beach - beautiful beach, water and fun water sports - very clean grounds as staff worked all day cleaning - very fun animation activities if you are interested - played pickleball every morning! - enjoyed lots of walking around the beautiful enormous complex - friendly staff throughout Suggestion for future guests: bring and wear bug spra [... read more]y at night if you are prone to bug bites This is our second time at the Bahia in Punta Cana and we will definitely be returning!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Easy failsafe

Been to the luxury Ambar 2x now have to say both times was very pleased, went last year around the same time, weather was great some days a little rain but lots of sun and humid! We have done the swim out rooms both times and enjoy it very much. Fun to have a night at your room and order the room service for dinner!! Staff are great, remembered us from last year, service was good, food and drinks were great! Entertainment is always good, doesn’t matter if you don’t like what Ambar has to offer there are plenty of options all around and they are very easy to get to. For nightlife we went to sports bar because it was nhl and nba playoffs so every night was a great vibes!! Get the mozzarella sticks Casino is fun and disco is good but opens at 11pm!! Would say it is a great resort for couples or groups of friends!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Need updates

The buffet food was always cold I went in the end of April most bars closed even the sports bar didn’t open till 4 the a la cart has improved and one day we had a pool full of Jamaican children from a school not relaxing at all

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Great vacation spot

The resort as a whole was very good. The staff were always pleasant and happy. The room was clean and well stocked, the pools were clean and always warm. The only draw back was the lack of lobby bar staff which created a longer wait for beverages

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Nice place but too little for too much$

The place was clean and well groomed but it was too far from the airport and very much average to be called a luxury resort. The rooms were clean and bar fridge was always stocked and the AC was cold. The food is the same as most DR resorts. The people were friendly. Swim up was good and entertainment by the pool was fun. The other pool (quiet pool) was like visiting a funeral. I probably would not go back there unless it was much less money. The beach was not very nice and there were jellyfish.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Three Star

This resort is nice, just disappointing that we could not use the beach at all due to severe seaweed. They had tractors out every day trying to control, not their fault. "Mother Nature" Also, did not realize you have to book your restaurants from home, we tried to book same day we arrived at resort and were completely booked. Only able to get into one restaurant.

Bahia Principe has never been a bad choice, navigating the web site can be an issue its a little outdated. food and rooms always nice and staff wonderfully helpful. the resort in Mexico, the Akumal should be updated but still very nice. and Jenn Black, at Trip Central has been an awesome advisor

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A Great Resort

This was our third trip to this resort and we would go again. A smaller boutique property in the jungle, is a more relaxed oasis. Staff were great as was the food. The rooms are large, well appointed and have the capacity to be downright cold if that is your preference. Great Resort !

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing resort

Love the Bahía chain lots of Activities- only complaint is booking the restaurants - you have to book the week before you leave on the app- if arrive at resort cannot book 3 or 4 restaurants- they should provide enough spots for everyone to get. All their restaurants in

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Never Disappoints

We returned to the Bahía Príncipe Luxury Sian Ka’an for the 6th time and again, we were not disappointed! Sure, the rooms could use an update but they are clean, everything works and have everything we need so what more could we ask for! The staff continue to amaze us in their ability to remember us year after year (with some gaps in there), it just feels like home! Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Aquamarine is amazing

We have visited bahia Aquamarine twice and it has always exceeded expectations. Staff are very kind and friendly (every single one of them without exception). The beach is absolutely pristine with clear waters and clean sand. The pool is huge with a section that's quieter if you like or bumping by the pool bar. Entertainment is good. The buffet is excellent with something for everyone. The al la carte restaurants are hit or miss but you can always go back to the buffet. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Our wedding/ Vacation

We visited this hotel for the first time last year. We were so impressed that we booked our wedding then for this April 2025. There were some issues but the pros out number by far. The only issues We had was that we could not login to wifi when we arrived and AC in our room was not working as well as it should. We arrived at 9pm and we were able to connect to the wifi by the next morning. The staff are always amazing, always friendly and bubbly. If there was any issues, they tried to resolve it right away. The buffets always had variety and was always fresh. They have an AMAZING drink menu, and the bartenders will make you pretty much anything you ask for. The entertainment staff always have something going on, and they are so easy to talk and joke with. They definitely contributed to some life long memories. I highly recommend the foam parties! The resort could use some renovations but they are closing for 2026 to do so. The resort is massive with multiple different things to do and see :shops, restaurants, dive shop, water activities. I am not one for visiting the same resort twice, but I will continue to come back here. Our wedding day was amazing. I was so stressed months leading up to the day, and i did not worry have to worry about anything that day. I accidently wrote the wrong reception area and they were able to correct it for me that day. They set everything up for us. I did not have to worry about anything that day, I would not change anything about it. I cannot give enough appraise for the staff here. They work so hard and always have a smile on their face. I highly recommend this place for a vacation or destination wedding.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana

I was very disappointed. We are definitely never going back. Air Transat representative was very unprofessional. Most of us guests were ignored as the representative prioritized booking tours to earn commission. It became necessary for me and other to interrupt and remind the representative of our primary reason for meeting him at 10am in the hotel theater— obtaining essential information regarding our bus departure time. Wow! it is a matter of time before an unfortunate incident happen. The room was very nice and staff very professional.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing service

This was my 4th visit at Ambar and have noticed that the pool area does need an update and more umbrellas are for sure needed around the pool. I truly wish that the staff would enforced the do not reserve a chair rule as many were left empty for a major part of the day. The rooms are in really good condition, very spacious and the service is excellent in all areas of the resort. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Not for Ocean/Sea swimmers or Beach Lovers!

I would rate the resort as average. Service was good and the food was fine, nothing special. I enjoy swimming in the ocean/sea. Unfortunately the water inside the breakwater was too shallow to swim so I was forced to swim outside the breakwater west of the hotel. This was OK (not ideal) when not windy but not possible when windy. The beach was very small and not really enjoyable for wading in the water or sunbathing. We tried to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants immediately u [... read more]pon arrival but the only times available were 9 and 9:30 p.m. This forced us to eat at the buffet all the time. VERY Disappointing! Recommend that guests be allowed only 2 or 3 a la carte reservations per week to allow other guests to the opportunity to experience the a la cartes. The resort is a long distance from the airport. Took 2.5 hours to travel from the resort back to the airport due to many stops along the way.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: A Wonderful But Rocky Resort, wrong time of year!

The hotel is beautiful, the meals excellent and staff very nice. However, we went for the beach. It was rocky, wavy and lots of seagrass. Our room request was not met, double beds. We had to move three times. Then the room we were given was adjoining and very noisy with party guys next door. Third room was excellent near the adult pool. However, no food around that area, except for nachos which lasted 10 minutes. We had to argue to get the restaurants. Unless you pre-book 10 days by app which we [... read more] did not know then were not able to access. Even then, many complaints about not getting the restaurants wanted.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Vacation at Bahia Luxury Akumal

Just returned from 2 weeks April 5th to 19th. Beautiful resort and very accommodating staff that worked so hard to make sure everything was in order. Special shout out to Mariah and Eric on the Entertainment Staff who where exceptional.

the grounds are beautiful and well kept, however we were not impressed by the room. It need some care... especially the bath room. Every time you use the shower, lots of water spilled on the floor, making getting out of the tub very unsafe. just a half sheet of partition provide. the soaker tub was unusable, it drain could not be plugged, to be filled. The shower heads were not good at all, sprayed water every where with too much force. Even the hand held hose was not good.
