Riu Palace Baja California: An Awesome Resort!

The Riu Palace Baja California was absolutely wonderful. The grounds are very well kept, the staff were friendly & the resort is very clean. The rooms are big, the bed was comfortable, the fridge was very well stocked & you have a good supply of alcohol in each room. We had a partial view of the ocean which was worth the upgrade to us. Every morning we had the Best coffee’s ,a great way to start our day. There’s plenty of activities on this resort at the pool side. If you are wanting some wild night entertainment, walk to the other resort. They are all connected & it’s included in your fee. We walked to town a few times & never had any concerns about our safety. Yes people want to sell you things, but if you say no thank you, they walk away. It was a wonderful adults only resort & we highly recommend it!

Riu Palace Mexico: Amazing service!

Very good quality hotel, nice pools and gorgeous beach! Service is amazing. Did a lot of resorts in the past but this was the best service I ever experienced. You can find all the food you can imagine at the buffet. The a la carte restaurants are nice but nothing special.

Riu Playa Blanca: Great Resort

Grounds are very well kept. Always cleaning going on by staff. Food was good but Steak House needs work. Not bad but not good. Italian place was good. Buffet was also good you cannot go hungry. Pools were good and beaches were nice. They indicate any issues on the beaches with flags either watch out for jelly fish or stingrays. All in all nice staff and a good resort.

Riu Latino: Great vacstion

Riu Latino Kalido transfer to hotel was wonderful, no lines to checkin. Room was great , view amazing off the balcony ( ocean front room). Sports bar was great , snack food was good no complaints. Expresso martinis are as everyone has said very good, Apple martinis are also amazing. Steak house the first night was disappointing, we had the grill for two steak and chicken were dry but ribs and shrimp were good. Pools - Each day we tried a different pool. They lovely each with their own vibe. Lots of spaces with shade available even after 10 am ( resort was at capacity), so no need to get up early to save a spot unless you really want a specific area. Dined at Geshia, the food was very good ( first time a bit on the salty side,second time it was excellent). Absolutely the cleanest resort we have ever been too. Everywhere is spotless, grounds all the washrooms, it’s amazing! Wifi good by the pools, room, lobby and restaurants, spotty at the beach. Italian restaurant was very good. Loved the buffet style appetizers bar. Everyone’s main course was delicious . We loved that they had drink carts coming around the pools. Very convenient. Velvet the lobby bar had a great setup, ample seating and popcorn! We had our pre supper drinks there every night. Entertainment is your standard resort all inclusive fair. Some good some cheesy but it’s all good fun. Very comfortable seating to watch the shows and two bars in which you get drinks. The silent disco on Monday night was fun. Good music and energy. Rained heavily overnight Monday and was raining for most of the morning on Tuesday. First time ever we experienced a continuous rain day. Good day for kicking back, reading and resting. Forecast says it should stop by noonish. Fingers crossed. Beautiful last day. We checked out at noon ( not getting our transfer to airport until 6:30pm). Front desk informed us that after 5 pm we can only use the sports bar not the a la carte restaurants. Will test that theory lol. Either way we are fine but we plan to pop into the Italian at 5 so we shall see what happens. Had no issue going to the Italian restaurant after we checked out. It was great to have a good meal before the transfer back to the airport. Be prepared for Sunwing at terminal 2, no baggage drop off so checking in online saves zero time. Took 40 minutes to get through check-in then about 5-10 minutes for security . After that continuous route through duty free stores to the gate. Flight left on time and was a smooth flight home.

Riu Yucatan: Riu Yucatan

Rooms were very clean, the food really good, lots of choices. The grounds were very well kept! The staff were very helpful and courteous! We were very pleased with the hotel and staff. Overall the hotel was very well run! I would come back for sure!

Riu Dunamar: Loved the hotel. Perfect, very clean and the staff and food were amazing..

The hotel is perfect. The grounds are fabulous and very well taken care of. The food was amazing. The hotel was super clean and the staff go out of there way to cater to you. Would definitely go back.

Riu Montego Bay: Wonderful Resort

We had a most wonderful 1 week stay at the Riu . This was our second time there as we enjoyed it so much. Certainly we will be back. The selection of daily foods at the Buffett was great, the Jerk chicken hut was even better. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the Steak house. Our Room was well suited and clean, we requested a certain Room and was so glad to have been able to get it. MJ and Brandy were always so kind and the whole Resort Staff as well.

Riu Palace Punta Cana: fantastic resort

the Riu Palace Punta Cana is a great place to stay for families, singles and couples of all ages, friendly helpful staff great variety of food and drinks, great beach and pools, lounge chairs and shade if you want it. My wife and I just came back and would love to go again.

This beautiful resort exceeded our expectations The staff were helpful and kind, the food was excellent and the resort was really clean. There was an adult only area that we really enjoyed Panama is a beautiful country We will be back to explore further

Riu Playa Blanca: Great Resort Worth every penny

First thing about this hotel is the cleanliness. The staff worked constantly to clean floors, around the pools and rooms. Food was excellent, so much variety. Drinks were very good. Very friendly resort

Riu Republica: Great Vibes, But a Few Frustrations

I recently stayed at the Riu Republica in Punta Cana and overall had a good experience. The rooms were always clean, the music was great, and the entertainment team really kept the energy up with fun parties and activities throughout the day and night. That said, there were a few downsides. I had ongoing issues with the room key cards – they stopped working every few hours, even though I kept them away from my phone and other electronics. It was frustrating to constantly have to go back to th [... read more]e front desk for replacements. Getting a reservation at the steakhouse was nearly impossible, which was disappointing. Also, the resort seemed to run out of pool towels pretty often, and I found that tipping was almost expected just to get basic service—not for anything above and beyond. All in all, I enjoyed my time—great atmosphere and fun crowd—but a few improvements on the service side would make a big difference.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Best Service I Ever Had: but won't return

We had a really nice week at this resort. Service and Food was 10/10. The resort is extremely well-staffed and very very clean!!!!! Our housekeeping service was exceptional as well. Why I won't go back: 1) Concrete-Jungle. Just not my cup of tea. Missed all of the beautiful vegetation and local critters that you see in places like the Dominican. 2) Insufficient Air Conditioning: We literally slept in wet/damp sheets and wet pillows for the week. I cannot do this again.

Riu Palace Kukulkan: Fantastic Resort

The hotel was wonderful and we would definitely return. Grounds were beautiful, the staff were awesome and everything was spotless. Had breakfast in the Elite restaurant each morning, Karen, Ana B & Jasmine were wonderful. Lunch at Buffet (few times at Pepe’s) and then went to restaurants for dinner, we never booked and always were able to walk in. Food was great. The Lobby bar was great place to have a before and after dinner drink. They had special drinks every night. Some other staff who should be named are Efrain, Dennis & Ivan, along with the entertainment staff Maya, Alma and Ophelia (hope I spelt correctly) There were always loungers available beside pools and at the beach.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Good but not 5 star

For the most part the hotel is very good. Food not up to the standards of Riu Palace PV. Towel guy kept.taking towels even while.l swimming in pool. No toiletries at front desk for those that loose luggage. Safe locked due to low battery and took hours to get someone to open it.

Riu Guanacaste: Great trip

The newer side was beautiful and clean. But with the upcoming renovation the main pool was always dirty and tiles were falling apart. Sometimes the a la cartes were closed. We’ve stayed here before and there were never issues like this. So I can’t wait to see the full completed renovations But other than that. The service was great. Weather perfect. I’d recommend going once the Reno’s are done

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: 8/10Ove

Beautiful resort, super clean and friendly staff. Food was good and plenty. Rooms are spacious but definitely not sound proof. 2 negatives, 1. Not enough bathrooms available and if you struggle with walking, they don't have the best posted directions. Overall, I'd try another resort before booking this one again.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Wonderful Resort!

Beautiful, clean, well kept property inside and out, nice beach no seaweed walkable to Buseries. Friendly courteous professional staff throughout the resort. The food was good, nice choice of a la Cartes, great little coffee place that opens at 7:00am with pastry, snacks and fresh juices. The buffet was great, an amazing selection no matter what time of day breakfast lunch or dinner. The beverage choices alcoholic including beer and wine or non alcoholic are good. There is an amazing little cat [... read more] named Catamaran that can be found around the towel area if you have a compassion for animals please take time to look for Catamaran she is the resort mascot. There are food and water bowls for her and two other resort cats. A couple that has been going to the resort for 15 years know Catamaran from being a kitten. A nice this is your home vibe, I can't wait to go back.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Nice resort for a one week stay

A nice resort for a one week stay. The dining experience was great with a lot of variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. The resort boasts beautiful gardens and the resort is extremely clean. The rooms resemble IKEA inspired furnishings. Bed comfort was okay, yet bed linens and towels were rough. Beach was magnificent. If there is one upgrade I would recommend it’s to upgrade the beach and pool side loungers, as they were not comfortable and by the end of the week both hubby and I had so [... read more]re backs.

Riu Emerald Bay: A wonderful resort by

A great resort in every sense of the word. The grounds were emaculet, the food was abundant, the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The best ever was the unparalleled quality of service and the welcoming attitude of the staff everywhere in the resort.
