Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Wonderful resort!

Visit Jan 29 to Feb 5, 2025. We return every year as the resort is well kept & scenic. Huge fabulous beach sprinkled with natural trees. Great friendly service. They serve plenty of good food and drinks, and have a 24-hour restaurant with numerous things on the menu, plus a restaurant on the beach. For those who can’t do steps, there are ramps to the beach and on the ground floor and lobby, as well as a handicap washroom. Remember to take a carriage ride or the bus to the Guardalavaca market, just minutes away. We have visited 11 times, and will continue to come and bring our friends!

Sol Palmeras: Great experience!

Hotel grounds were beautiful and very clean! For an older resort, we were very pleased!!! The staff at the buffet were always friendly and accommodating! The beach was absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!

Paradisus Varadero: Great Choice for a Relaxing Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our recent stay at Paradisus Varadero. The grounds are beautiful. The beach area at this hotel has a special feel with lots of palm trees directly on the beach. The water is shallow for a long way out, so great for families with young kids. You won't be disappointed with the entertainment options at Paradisus. Activities are plentiful for the young at heart, with Yoga, Stretching, Beach Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis, Kayaking, and lots more. Or simply walk for miles along Varadero beach. [... read more] You also have a Gym and Spa at your disposal in the Royal Service Section. There are also medical services on site in the Royal service area. Food and drinks could use some improvement in the standard section. You may need to upgrade to Royal Service or The Reserve for more selection and higher quality. My main concern was the Ara buffet which had no windows and hence birds could fly in and scavenge for food. Melia Cayo Coco: Amazing resort

The resort is well kept. Grounds, clean staff work very hard all day long weather it cleaning, serving, always with a great smile. The hotel itself has a great ambiance , food nicely served even at the buffay . Plenty to eat.

Melia Costa Rey: Short get away

We have stayed at this hotel now twice now. It is has improved substantially under the new ownership. The accommodate are nice, the amenities are on par for Cuba but what really made us go back was the staff. For people who live in the condition they do they come to work smiling, treat customers with the utmost care and attention and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Melia Las Americas: Excellent adventure

Hotel was better than expected good food and amenities will be back. Proximity to golf course was perfect and grounds were well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were better than expected, good selection and quality.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: An absolute gem ?

This was our first time to this resort. We will definitely return. Amazing staff, so professional, welcoming and kind. Plenty of food, great variety. Beautiful beach. Go for the Royal Service. Very much worth it.

Melia Internacional: What an amazing trip!

Modern, clean, friendly. Staff was very accommodating. The food was top notch . No shortages, in fact the buffet had everything you wouldn't expect. Sushi, crab legs, carving fresh Parmesan from a wheel of cheese for your pasta. Omelets and fresh fruits of all kinds everyday. Beach was white sand deep into the ocean. Beach bar staff was amazing, thanks gentlemen. Hope to see everyone again one day.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Amazing Resort!

I can’t say enough about this resort. It is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean and the staff bend over backwards to help you. The food was great and plentiful. Lots of entertainment yet a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Family Vacation at our Cuba Paradise

This our 4th visit to PPDM, we absolutely love this place. This year we brought our 2 sons and their spouses for a true family holiday. At this resort everything is within a short walk and easy to get around. We feel like family to the staff here, everyone is happy to see us, and we feel love. We have made warm friendships with 4 different staff members over the years, we look forward to seeing them each visit. Please remember, this is Cuba. We always bring gifts to help them in their everyday life, and they are so appreciative! There is an abundance of good food, drinks, amazing music by wonderful musicians, and a stunning beach. The rooms and resort is extremely clean, the grounds immaculate. it is a short bus ride to the airport. We will be back again next year!

Melia Cayo Coco: Lovely Resort

It is an older resort but it is well maintained. In my opinion it's the perfect place to unplug and just relax. It's not an oversized resort so you get to know the staff and they get to know. We have been here 3 years in a row and every time we meet new people and make new friends. The staff even remember us and welcome us like family. Beautiful grounds, miles of gorgeous beach and a terrific staff what more can you ask for. Oh and a very short ride from the Airport to the hotel!

Sol Cayo Coco: A Lovely Vacation!

Very happy! Among several hotels considered for our first time to CC, I always came back to Sol. Great staff who are hospitable, work hard and go out of their way. Security staff found my lost sweatshirt. Grounds/building maintained well considering materials on hand and the beachfront is the best along that stretch of three hotels. Good food and service at the buffet. Beautiful clean room?

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Paradisus Rio De Oro- Nature Paradise

If you are looking for a lovely winter escape to a quiet nature paradise Paradisus Rio De Oro in the Holguin province fits the bill. This is the second time we have visited this resort and this time we returned with a group of friends. We were pleased with the quality of the amenities (fabulous beaches, snorkeling, pool, gym and hidden coves), the food, great a la carte restaurants, bars and our rooms- especially those corner suites. Melia Trinidad Peninsula: Tripcentral strikes again

Our advisor O’Neil hit another home run when He recommended this resort. We have been to Cuba over 50 times and have never been to a finer Resort. Incredible Swim Out suite with Ocean View in the Adults Only section included an outdoor Whirlpool, Hot Tub. Level upgrade included à la carte dining for all meals plus snacks. Lobster was the evening special on day and we enjoyed excellent meals every visit. Gourmet Restaurant were just OK, similar to all previous resorts. Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Amazing resort as always.

Over the years as I have been going to this resort what can I say. It keeps getting better all the time. I have met so many friends and to this day I still talk regularly to some of them, and it's been over ten years since we met. The staff is wonderful some have been there for 30 plus years. I met one elderly lady that has travelled to that resort 100 times. Now that says something about this resort. All as you have to go is one time and you will fall in love with Luna Mares. Take plenty of small items like toothpaste, bandages, deodorant, toothbrushes candy for the children, medicine, they need it all and you will see their happiness. Only thing now, I have to wait till Oct to visit my second home.

Melia Cayo Coco: Top Notch Everything

You CAN come to Cuba for the food - if you come here, especially at the a la cartes - very impressed with the menu, the food and especially the service. Cleaning was fastidious. The beach goes on forever and exceeded expectations. Remember that its Cayo Coco though, so the wind can come up and stay all week. Not here. Front desk staff were VERY accommodating, friendly and professional. The tennis/pickle ball scene is alive and well, thanks to the very charming and talented Marcos - a real keeper. We were also surprised with how fluent so many staff were, in English! As for TripCentral, a big shout out to the personable and attentive Manuela.

Melia Las Americas: Very good resort

We stayed in the main hotel (not the Level section) in which the rooms are a bit outdated but the lobby is very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day the bedding and towels replaced. The mini bar was stocked with beer, water and pop daily. We received a nice bottle of Havana Club rum because we were repeated customers which was a nice touch. The beach was clean and plowed every other day and it had plenty of sun beds. We had a great vacation with not much to complain. The only thing I would suggest is to have better quality of alcohol choices like whiskey, vodka, etc. What you have right now and last year on the same period are the cheapest options (whiskey from India which is pure alcohol with some color). Also the wine options in all the restaurants were of very cheap poor quality. Otherwise everything was fine. Thank you MLA!

Melia Internacional: Amazing resort

Nice Rooms ,very well equipped with Daly necessities,excellent room service. Good food and easy axesss to pool beach and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful all the time tours available to vara and Havana at a decent price.

Melia Las Americas: Varadero Golf Vacation

Just home from Melia Las Americas. It was not our first time at this resort. Our room was dated, but had a beautiful view, as we had booked, and was spotless everyday. Our housekeeping was awesome!! The food was hot and plentiful and very good. Lots of drinks, and even though they ran out of a couple of mixes, there was always something else to choose from. Staff was very friendly . We probably picked the worst week of the year, as we didn’t get to enjoy the ocean or the sun.. no fault  [... read more]of the hotel. The golf however was great, fun course to play and again the staff was great!! My favorite must have been the early morning coffee at the sports bar..great guys and always lots of smiles and awesome coffee! Hopefully next time we will have the sun and the ocean!!
