Sunscape Cove: ABSOLUTE BEST!!

I can’t even imagine someone having something bad to say about this resort. Every single thing was amazing. The staff, the food, the beach (SHAMOR THORPE WAS FABULOUS), the drinks , the cleanliness, the rooms, the gardens, the entertainment, the options, the pools...... everything!!!! Should definitely go! I will be coming back for sure! ❤️🇯🇲 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sunscape Cove: Best time best staff

We absolutely loved our stay. Lots for the kids to do pools all over and the ocean behind you. The staff is top notch from Stephen to Vinroy to André to Javon. Planning our trip there for next year. If you can go and enjoy. Lots of food choices as well

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Wonderful Vacation

This is a beautiful resort, bearing in mind that all the beaches are 'man made'. Sunscape is kept very clean and we found the staff, for the most part, to be very friendly. Carolina (F&B) is absolutely the BEST! Very friendly and attentive; Cornella was our bartender in the 8000 units and she was amazing also. The gal at the entrance of the buffet (forgotten her name) is very professional and attentive also. The food here is a '3'. It's pretty much the same day to day - in the buffet. Resta [... read more]urants are first come, first serve, as opposed to having to make reservations. We didn't have any trouble getting into all of these; some more than once. Entertainment does leave something to be desired however, we don't go for the evening activities so much. The lobby cafe and bar is smaller than most we've been to and the "international" liquors didn't include what my husband preferred (Canadian Club, or Crown Royal, Rye??). Madelaine was instrumental in helping us find some, after a few days. Overall, we were there for 10 days and loved our time away from the winter!

Had a great trip. Carolina , a supervisor in thefood and beverage was awesome , so friendly , deserves to be a manager ! Would strongly recommend this resort !t. Everything you need is here . Good family resort !

Sunscape Puerto Plata: This resort has it all

Second time at Sunscape Resort -I love it there. They have great staff-very friendly and helpful.There is an Excellent choice of food with numerous places to eat,plus a great coffee shop with cappuccino.Nice clean grounds.Beautiful beach. Would recommend and will go back.

Sunscape Splash: Amazing resort

Very clean well organized room always clean food was good very friendly and helpful the service from the staff makes the resort a nice place to be . Quite by 11pm to put kids to bed but you can party at some great places near by .lots to do at the resort for kids or adults But the tour excursion niver no time

Sunscape Cove: Fantastic Family Resort

Our family had a wonderful vacation. Our room was clean, well maintained, quiet, with excellent daily service. The restaurants were fantastic with a great choice of local and American food choices along with a children's menu. The grounds were large with an excellent ocean beach, good snorkeling, and several pools. The water park was fantastic where the children never tired of the lazy river and slides and various areas to explore. The staff was very friendly and helpful and many activities were provided throughout the day and evening. Definitely a resort where anyone would be happy to return.

We’ve travelled thru different parts of Mexico and find the combination of perfect beach and waves, friendly staff, food, good for a all inclusive, proximity to two towns that are full of life made this our favourite hotel You almost don’t want to give a good review to keep this area a secret

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Sunscape 2019

Ok hotel. Service good, food just ok. Rooms are ok. No hot water for the whole week. Only 3 bath towels and no hand towels or facecloths. Beautiful beach and swimming area. The entertainment was mediocre. Three star at best

Beautiful resort, wonderful staff, great weather, lots to see and do. 2 weeks in paradise! Hope to make it back in the future:) The restaurants served a great selection of quality food, always plenty to drink while relaxing by the pool or on the beach.

Love the beach, pools ok, same food repeating at buffet and restaurants weekly, buffet servers slow and not attentive, ask for a spoon and you'll be left to get your own on more than one occasion, miss the weekly treats at the beach grill, like no steak sandwiches, beer treat in boat and pyaya, casino is outdated and machines are like vacuums with your $, The people are hard working but need more training and help, they are for the most part very accommodating and pleasant (just not so much in [... read more] the buffet!) Would return and recommend to anyone, just don't expect 5 or 4 star.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Can do better

Sunscape is located on a beautiful beach. Some things could be improved. The rooms are small and a bit out dated. Instead of drawers, they have baskets to arrange in your clothes. The cupboard was super small. The washroom was a good size standing shower. The floors of the property were nice and clean. Ther are not enough restaurants. In the evenings, there was only 1 à la carte restaurant and the buffet available.( which was not even a full à la carte menu, you had to get your appetizer fr [... read more]om the buffet!!!) The food at the buffet was very limited by choice and very mediocre. The caravan snack was good but very busy at lunch. Janet the waitress over there was super nice!! The service was great. Staff was nice and smiley. The reception staff were less friendly than others, apart from Daniel who was super nice!! The Sunwing representative Orion was at the property every day and was very helpfull by getting us to check out later than noon. The pool is nice and big with 2 slides. The beach was amazing!!

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Been Four Times

Because we had been too this resort a few times were told too Upgrade Too Sun Club Ocean view room we would get a upgrade to ocean front room. Arrived gave us a room with no view of ocean front and a broken door no latch looked kicked in. gave us another room and told by a wonderful porter named Freddie too come back tomorrow he would try too help get us a upgrade, he is awesome and definately a plus too the Hotel. Got a upgrade next day made our stay much happier. That said they do need too s [... read more]pend some money on room upgrades, locks door frames , bathroom renos. But too go there for the staff awesome, look up Simon and Carlos swim up bar they are the best, Look up Luis at pool bar young, English is fantastic we loved him and also Antonio Waiter at the main pool for drink,. Also love Victor and Aaron at the Lobby bar awesome guys and Marcelo from Sun Club Lounge These are extremely hard workers that have been there all the times we have been there, so we will go back just too see them.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: It ok

That resort was nice but they aloud the locals in the resort they aloud them in on weekends and holidays. Anyone can come in eat drink take food with them a leave their is no brackets or anything to let you how if you are staying there or not.the adult area always had kids I It when we up great it was so we would not be around kids so much for that. Food was ok at the restaurants it is first come first served

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Good stay!

Sunscape itself was gorgeous! The pool(s) are amazing and always kept very clean! The bars were always stocked and drinks were delicious! Food was sub par though along - I didn't have a single meal there that I would say was great! The mais service was also very unreliable!

U forgatabke trip. We enjoyed our stay from day one! Very professional staff that worked very hard to insure all guests were treated great. Very delicious food, always new and fresh verities of fruits and vegetables. Clean rooms with attention to details .New Year’s Eve party was spectacular. We are going back to the resort next year for sure. One thing we didn’t like was the pressure to participate in a meeting relating to timeshare type of a club. Otherwise, it was a prefect place and more [... read more] than lively vacation.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: 3rd time and will go back

Love the staff and beach. Room had an ocean view and was very clean minor issue with bathroom door handle but otherwise no complaints. This is my third time at this resort and will go back again. People are very friendly and willing to help if you have any issues.

I’m not planning to write in details, cause I think tripadvisor is better place to write in. But about the trip, ocean was perfect, sandy white beach and blue water, gorgeous weather and amazing sunshine were the best part of the trip. Resort was tired! Buildings go back to 1960s! There is something wrong with almost most of the rooms! Old design and bathrooms and rooms, very simple, no hairdryer, defective safe, hot water goes cold every few minutes! Japanese restaurant probably is the best but just book it and see, it’s funny comparing to my other experiences! 10 minutes cooking rice and 3 meats and done. Sit and eat it and go! Staff are nice but like most of South American people not into service and working. You gotta beg for service. Ice cream is available from 12:30 to 3:30 !! Which is still funny and that 3 hours not even available. They either go out of cone, or ice cream or the ice cream is too hard to serve! Lol they prepare seats for outside twice the week but it’s just good for the first 50 people Lool the rest have to take the food outside and go sit inside to eat. Generally you cannot eat the chef’s bbqs! All super over well done! No juice or taste remains. Even burgers are not eatable! I can write pages and pages.

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Beautiful resort, terrible food

The grounds were beautiful and very well kept! The room was very clean, air conditioning was great, some activities happening - a little bored. Quite a few people not from the resort were there trying to sell items, very pushy. The food was unfortunately terrible, we had a very hard time finding food we could trust to eat. Beach also wasn’t the best, very smelly and loud construction happening in the water 24/7 with no notice, even all through the night.
