Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Awesome resort

2nd time to this resort in less than a year ... Service was great. Always could find something to eat in the buffet. A la carte are excellent. If you can speak and understand Spanish it is to your advantage as some of the staff don't speak French or English.

Dreams La Romana: Great Resort - No Seaweed

We stayed in late August for one week with our two grand-daughters (10 and 12). The room accommodation was great (I am tall and thought I would be confined in a double bed but we got a King for us and a double for the kids). The beach is small but clean and is not infested by seaweeds (had a bad experience in Mexico earlier this year). The kids enjoyed the Explorer's club to the point we had to negotiate to spend time with them (club can be from 9h30 AM to 10h00 PM). The pools and scenery  [... read more]are amazing (you see the beach from pretty much everywhere). Food was great and the no reservation did not cause delays except one night where we showed later than usual. The only annoying thing for early sleepers, the entertainment around the pool stops at 11h00 PM every night and can be loudly heard from your room (Building 5 in all cases). Overall, an excellent stay.

Beautiful resort, rooms,grounds, amazing staff , food was good drinks also we noticed the grounds were always kept clean. pleasant staff. Very helpful, beach good but not clear. The only thing to get a glass of wine during dinner at the buffet restaurant was abit slow. But the waiters were very nice. I suggest to leave a bottle of wine at the table so I don’t have to wait for a glass of wine. Animation team great but you need more entertainment around the pool, and at night. For an adult reso [... read more]rt evenings shouldn’t end at 11 pm. At least midnight. I have been to adult resort and there’s always something going on until midnight. I noticed there was slot more to do in the family resort then the adult side. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

the hotel it's very clean end beautiful food delicious ,so many chose four everybody the rums are clean end big species . sea water was very nice ,pol,s super nice . only there its some rooks on the beach

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Great time at a great resort

We really enjoyed the Dreams Dominicus and all it has to offer. We upgraded to the Preferred Swim-Up Rooms which were nice but we didn't get much use of the private pool. It was nice to have the preferred perks such as a buffet restaurant for only preferred guests and a section of the beach with beach service. There was also pool service and room service included for everyone which is wonderful, you feel truly spoiled. The food was good, the a la carte restaurants were especially good although I wasn't overly fond of the sushi. The beach was beautiful, calm, clear water and plenty of white sand.... there was a little market about a 5 minute walk down the beach with all the souvenirs one could need. The Spa was very nice and my services with Ana were wonderful. The packages are definitely negotiable though and they have a different special every day. I would definitely recommend this resort, it's the third Dreams resort I have stayed at and probably the least favorite of the three but still a nice, relaxing place.

Amazing staff in all areas of the resort! Food was very good in a la carte restorants ! Fresh fruit and crispy bacon and amazing eggs for breakfast every day! Extremely clean resort! Front desk service was first class all the way! Waiters in all the restorants were very friendly ! Pool areas were very clean as were all the lounge chairs! Beautiful resort. Super nice beach with many long chairs and parasols. Excellent food and service. Extremely good service. Only bad point: horrible gym. Was tiny, with VERY outdated equipment. Very disappointing.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Wonderful resort

This resort was exceptionally beautiful. Grounds well kept. Rooms, lobbies, restaurants, pools, beach where very clean and well maintained. Food was great, staff where attentive and personable. The beach was beautiful, water was very nice. The quiet pool was our favorite, next to the beach. No issues with this resort at all. Definitely plan to go back.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Outstanding Resort

We were quite happy with our stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe Bougainville. We had originally purchased the trip for the family resort Grand Bahia Principe La Romana but upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised that we had be upgraded to the Adult Only resort. We had stayed there the previous year and and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were also surprised that many of the staff remembered us especially my husband who has a very distinct moustache that they all loved. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The al a carte restaurants were very good, and the buffet was good as well.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Awesome place

First time to La Romana. We absolutely adored the Grand Bahia Principe. The food selection and freshness was just amazing. The buffet was sometimes better than the A la carte restaurants (French Restaurant was the best). We found that the smiles were not as easy on the staff as Samana's Bahia Principe but once they realized we loved to see them smile ... we got plenty of them. Sunscape Dominicus La Romana: Fabulous Vacation

This hotel is beautiful, well kept, lots of greenery and beautiful beach...Our room was block 6, closest you could get to the beach...Food was wonderful, good selection and lots to eat...I wouldn't waste my time on the Pizza Alacarte, better pizza in the buffet...we asked for an Italian restaurant and she said KM Pizza was Italian but it is just pizza...International restaurant was terrific, great service and good food, small portions but very good, staff was excellent....this was my third trip  [... read more]there and I will definitely go again...24 hour food and drink, clean hotel, comfortable beds, great service, beautiful beach. Only downside to the trip was we had our towels stolen twice, not the resorts fault but watch the guests, I travel 3 times a year to the Caribbean for the last 15 years and have never had my towel stolen yet. Safe is not included in your room. The resort seemed quite full when we were there and there was very rarely a line up, if there was, it went quick...overall, it is a wonderful resort and I will be returning

The grounds are stunning. Rooms are very clean. Food was so good and plenty of it and lots of variety. The pool was huge and had lots of activities going on. Beautiful place. Would definetly go back here. Super friendly staff and very accomodating for our group of 22.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: This resort is "Excellente"!!

We just got back from spending 1 week at this resort and our staying went too quick. Our experience was exceptional. Let me start by saying our room was clean and housekeeping did a great job keeping it that way. The gardens are immaculate and beautiful. The lobby was always clean with many areas to sit and have a drink or coffee with our friends. The food was ample, fresh and well presented at the buffets and the service was very friendly. Roberto who made our omelettes was always swift wi [... read more]th a smile and always aimed to please. Hector was also very friendly and quick to pour us our morning coffee. We tried all 6 a la carte restaurants and the food was amazing. They offer many choices and again the food was fresh and plentiful. The animation team, Beba, Jocelyn, Ana Celia, Cindy, Chocolat and Dario, worked tirelessly all day to ensure the guests were entertained and having a good time. Santo and Celeste at the swim up bar were always friendly and aimed to please everyone. Edy, our butler, made our stay special by helping us celebrate our anniversary with a bottle of champagne, lavender scent essence ready to heat, rose petals sprinkled in our room with a nice hot bath ready for us. We came with another couple who were celebrating their anniversary as well who got the same treatment. If there is anything to complain about it's the lack of english t.v. stations however with the free wifi and our tablet, we were able to stream movie and tv shows. This resort is a gem. We will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I spent the week of April 17-24 2018 at this resort. Right from the moment we checked in I really liked the way the front desk treated us. Check in was quick and efficient, the rooms were spacious and very clean. The food at this resort was amazing, and plentiful. The people were very pleasant and helpful if we wanted or needed anything. The lobby was very clean and bright. The pool areas were very clean and lots of lounge chairs. The only thing that was a bit of a draw back  [... read more]was the beach, it was very clean and lots of palapas but the water was not as clear as I would have liked it. I would definitely return to this resort and recommend it to anyone who would like a luxury resort to go to.

Whala Bayahibe: Good Hotel!

Pros: The hotel is very clean, food was good, majority of the people were friendly, the workers work very hard everyday for their guests and pools are amazing! Cons: No beach ,but it was fun jumping off the small cliff into the ocean. The hotel needs more seating (had to get up early to secure chairs ),the hotel should add more sand and beds were too firm for us.

Beautiful resort! Food is good and lots to choose from. The drive from Punta Cana was great in a van with just my husband and myself. Highway drive so the hour goes quickly. The resort is new so the employees are still getting themselves settled in. They try hard and work hard. We had no problems. We were Preferred Club and were upgraded to a suite in Bldg 65. It was centrally located and perfect for us. I will definitely return!

One of the most beautiful resorts we have ever visited. Everything was perfect. We requested and received the building and the ground floor room we asked for. Our room, restaurants and bars were all very impressive. Would go back to this resort tomorrow, without question.

This resort was beautiful and immaculate! Well staffed with great people. I loved the ease of using their app and they were prompt in all they delivered with their service. Free WiFi worked great throughout most of the resort. Pools were well kept. Plenty of Lounge chairs. Don Pablo a la carte was absolutely wonderful. Drinks were not the best as they were made inconsistently without proper measuring and overly sweet syrups are just not my taste. Although there were no people selling things on the beach, there were sand fleas! Overall it was an enjoyable stay with comfy beds, soft sheets, nice pillows and plenty of options. We even had essential oils to choose for our room daily, that were brought by our butler upon request. Nice quiet relaxing resort.

The grounds were beautiful. The rooms were extremely nice and the maids did a great job cleaning them. Loved the butler service with the essential oils . The Don Pablo Restaurant was amazing. Buffets were good. Good selection of food . My only complaint were the drinks inconsistent never tasted the same.
