Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Great

Really nice place, having to sign for every thing meals drinks etc.was a bit of a inconvenience but overall it was good 😎 really nice staff, clean! Not to busy, the places to eat were really good as well😎 would go back for sure.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Abosolutely Fabulous!

This resort was fabulous from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. It is very well maintained right down to the gardens, pool, walk ways etc. The room was beautiful and kept very clean at all times. The dining was excellent with many choices on where and what to eat. The staff were top notch and accommodating in every aspect. I would return to this resort in a heart beat and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing get away. We totally enjoyed ourselves!

Riu Palace Baja California: Nice new resort

Nice room except if you are facing the Santa Fe Riu. Lots of loud music and pool parties. Waiters are very friendly and polite. Nice variety of restaurants with plenty of food. A lot of entertainment on site...volleyball...aqua fitness...challenges....ping pong... Very nice beach...you can walk all the way to the marina.

Royal Solaris: Comfortable and met all expectations

Rooms, grounds, and public areas were all clean, comfortable and functional. Staff were responsive to requests and made an effort to be helpful and anticipate needs and desires, without being in the way. Good guidance was given on exploring the city and finding activities to do.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Resort el disappointment

We were very disappointed in this resort Royal del Cameron. The first room we were in reminded us of a low grade hotel the door looked like it was kicked in a few times and very dull and worn out. We were only in the room for about 10 minutes and starting hearing lots of yelling in the hallway from the drunks who were partying and it was only 6pm. We asked to be moved to a quiet room which they did and the noise started again about 11pm outside and until about 2am or later again from all the dru [... read more]nks who were yelling and screaming. This resort has nothing but steps up and down everywhere and was not suitable for myself and my wife as we were in a automobile accident before we arrived. The food was awful to say the least. The staff was very helpful and polite but because the resort catered mostly to the party animals we had to upgrade to a much better resort and get out of there as quickly as possible. I would not recommend this resort if you are looking for relaxation or don't want to climb loads of stairs to get anywhere in this place steer away from going there. Also if you are a non smoker well people smoke everywhere in this resort and that was another turn off. I would rate this resort as a 2 or 3 star as best nothing more. Will not return and this is no 4 or 4.3 star resort buyer beware.

Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos: Beautiful Resort

Sandos is a beautiful resort. Check in was an issue; after waiting two hours for our room to be ready and a very long walk to get to the room, we discovered that they had placed us in a room without a balcony or a view. A call to the front desk and was told to bring our bags back to front desk and they would have another room in 1.5 hours. We eventually did get another room but were offered no compensation for our inconvenience. Not a great start to our stay. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: good last minute spot

sunwing was great with arranging transport to and from the airport. The food overall was great (the steak house had too many of us returning our steaks as they were tough and not cook right but all else was good). The RIU beside us was very noisy and because our room was on that side we were kept awake a few nights. Staff were fantastic and the complex was kept spotless. Too bad you can't swim in the ocean out front but it is only a 20 minute walk to a beach that you can swim at. Royal Solaris: dissapointing

the grounds were kept very nice and tidy as well as the public areas the rooms were a little outdated and could use some upgrading the biggest disappointment for us was the food very bland in taste and just overall not very good , the entertainment was very minimal ,the staff was awesome and the rooms kept clean. I know it is not adults only and Would be good if you have children but would not recommend otherwise.

Royal Solaris: A lovely experience

The Royal Solaris is a resort that I would definitely go back to. Not only did the facilities offer everything that my family of mom and dad and adult children wanted in an escape from the cold, rainy days of Vancouver, the people who provide the services were friendly and truly welcoming. The food was varied, tasty, healthy, and interesting. The rooms were roomy, clean, and very comfortable.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Ok, not the best

Grounds beautiful, food ok a la Cartes suck nice views noisy rooms no tubs need more bathrooms near pools. Liquor dispenser hard to reach, no fans in bathrooms. Enjoyed the Santa February pool better palace pools too salty.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Awesome resort with spectacular views ,staff, food and pools.

This resort was wonderful , the views from our balcony and most of the restaurants and bars were spectacular,looking out on The Arch ,lovers beach and whale watching were just amazing. We found a great selection of food which was always good ( seafood,meats, vegetables,gluten free,and desserts to die for) . The staff were very helpful and friendly everywhere, the bar service great and Top shelf liquor available upon request. The gardens and landscaping was breath taking . My only recommendation for someone thinking about coming is bring paper straws if you like frozen blended drinks ( resort is gone eco friendly,which I think is great) and bring your own tea if you like orange pekoe . As for Sunwing ,staff were helpful but we did experience a major delay and had to be rerouted because of weather( plane didn’t have food,liquor or dutyfree items available) I would have thought Sunwing would have tried to compensate us better. All in all it was a great vacation, Judy was extremely helpful booking our trip and next year we will be calling on her again.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing first time experience at Riu Palace Los Cobas, Mexico

We can’t tell you how wonderful our first experience was at this resort, we have booked through Judy Donaldson three times for other destinations with friends of ours from Ontario, we live in Manitoba....totally an amazing experience co-ordinating our travel accommodation and recommending resorts/ destinations We had amazing Sunwing experience, the resort was top notch, amazing rooms, all inclusive amenities were top notch, staff, cleanliness, welcoming experience, activities were amazing. Riu Santa Fe: Phenomenal

Absolutely amazing!!!!!! Been to the riu twice now and would go again in a heart beat! Beautiful, Clean, food was awesome, amazing riu foam parties every day!!! If I could post all my pictures I would..... So excited to plan another stay next year!

Riu Santa Fe: Great Fun Place

I would definitely return to and recommend this resort. If you like a quiet time or a really fun time, this is the place to go!! The resort is kept spotless and the food was fine (not spectacular but good). There are 4 parties held in a separate area that look to be a ton of fun with a foam pool and DJ etc ..... I enjoyed the swim up bar best.. enjoying the water and some different drinks and making new friends. There are also quiet areas if that's what you prefer.. Riu Santa Fe: Not so relaxing...

This was my first time to Cabo (which is beautiful) but one of many all inclusive trips. The scenery from the resort was fatastic and the location was great. You could see the water, mountains and were a short distance from town. Also not too far from the airport. But aside from that I don’t have too much good to say. The service at this resort was awful. I have been to many resorts and have never received such poor service. At all meals, wait staff very rarely (if ever) offered a drink, m [... read more]any times having to ask for cutlery, napkins, etc. When staff did offer service it was slow or forgotten. The staff weren’t overly friendly and some even seemed annoyed when you asked for assistance. Most of their English wasn’t great either. Most of the a la carte restaurants and bars were closed most of the time. At the main pool, there was only one of four bars open typically, which often resulted in a line of 10+ people to get a drink. I’ve never seen bar service done this way at a resort. Not a single swim up bar was open when I was there either which was disappointing. The resort seemed very unstaffed. Along the beach, there are vendors hassling you to buy their things. I understand this is the Mexican lifestyle and is often seen on many islands, but the hotel allows them to come basically right up to the chairs. I couldn’t even sit there and read a book without somebody asking every few minutes if I wanted to buy cigars, bracelets, braids in my hair, etc. I paid for a superior room which was extremely basic — I would hate to see what a standard room looks like. There was a shower only, extremely thin sheets and my balcony was facing a wall. I also requested a upper floor as I was a solo traveller and was placed on the ground. The biggest concern with this resort was how rowdy and party focused it was. I totally understand many people go to resorts to party but you couldn’t get away from it at this resort. People were yelling and screaming everywhere. 4x a week they have “riu pool partys” that are beyond loud and annoying when they run until 11pm. If you want quiet, request to NOT be in building 8, as the party was literally right outside my window. The weather was great and the food was okay — nothing spectacular but I always found something to eat. I definitely would not go back to this resort to relax. If you like to party, it may be for you! I talked to many other travellers while there and many had similar comments so I wasn’t alone in my opinions.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Very nice resort with friendly staff.

We just go back from a wonderful week at the Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos. This is our second time at the resort and we will go back again next year. The rooms are very clean, the food was good and the location is perfect. San Jose del Cabo is a half hour drive north of Cabo San Luscas, in a very quiet and safe area. It took only 20 minutes to get there from the airport, a real bonus. The town square is full of lively restaurants with nightly music. On Thursdays they have an Art Walk which start [... read more]s at 5pm and goes until 10 pm. Well worth the 20 minute walk from the hotel. The beach provides miles of walking, although not safe for swimming due to strong riptides. The grounds are well maintained and there are plenty of loungers to be found. We even saw whale spouts and flukes from the beach.

Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Great food but...

The hotel was clean and well maintained. There were lots of available pool and beach chairs. The servers and cleaning staff were great. However I was unaware of the premium option. There were areas of the hotel that were not available to non premium guests. The fee to upgrade seemed to high for the extended options. So we missed out on the rooftop pool and did have to pay a fee for wifi. There was entertainment nightly though we choose to give it a miss mostly. Grand Decameron Los Cabos: Don’t waste your money

We decided to go to Royal DeCameron, Los Cabos as we have been to same hotel in PV on a few occasions and quite enjoyed it and felt that it had some Mexican Charm to it so thought the Los Cabos resort would be similar. Check in was easy with great front end staff. No problems there. Got to our room, unpacked and went to have shower. The shower head was just hanging from wall with water ‘dribbling’ out of it. They had someone take us to a new room to check it out before we moved which was great. Our question was why they would put guests in a room they knew was not functional? The bonus with the new room is we could sit out on our balcony and watch the nightly show which was located in our section of hotel. Maid service was good but after a week we actually had to go reception to ask for a sheet change as it appears they only did it when you left ( we were there for 2 weeks).br /> Pool(s) were not heated. Four days there was no-one in the pools because they were too cold. Of course you could not swim in ocean due to undertow. Beach vendors pretty much leave you alone. Breakfast at buffet always good...eggs, pancakes, etc. Lunch at LaLuna usually good. Buffet was just ok (we are not fussy at all but there was always something you could eat) LaLuna (the only a la carte) was hit or miss. It was like they pre-cooked the food and 50% of the time the food was stone cold. In 18 years of doing all inclusives, we have never had such terrible wine. It was foul. We had to go to the COMER store to purchase our own wine to take for dinner. We were not the only ones. You had to book La Luna by 8:00am to make a reservation every day. The bars were not the greatest as one would close and then you would have to go to another one. There were 3 bars. Walking around the area outside if hotel was very nice. Loved the bike lanes even though they were seldom used. Very clean streets around the area. Very pedestrian friendly. Most of the bar tenders and servers were great. For us especially America and Rodrigo (snack/lunch servers at La Luna),Pedro also known as Junior (La Luna excellent daytime bartender), Marcelo at buffet at La Luna is a great, lovable, friendly character. Very honourable mention goes to Omar at the pool bar who is an excellent bartender and is adept at handling “overdrinkers”. As there are safes in the rooms, charging extra for their use is just a money grab. WiFi, for which we paid $10 US for 1 day, sort of worked in the lobby and was so irregular in our room as to be practically useless. I din’t Think we will ever go back to this resort nor recommend it to anyone.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Really loved the resort

The resort was amazing. The pool swim up bar's were very convenient. The staff and how clean they kept the place was impressive. The staff was so friendly. They would help you with anything needed. I'd definitely go back.

Riu Palace Baja California: Top Notch Resort

I stayed for a week in January with my brother. Everything from the smooth check in our room, the food, the grounds, staff and cleanliness of the resort was fantastic. I would highly recommend the Riu Baja California in Cabos San Lucas as a destination to visit.
