My wife and I were guests at the new TRS Coral in Cancun, Mexico starting March 25th,2019. We were on our Honeymoon and it was amazing! The room, service and our Butler's Angel and Chris were the best.

The staff were always pleasant. The grounds were impeccable. Also we wanted change rooms, no problem. They had us in another room in less than hour. We enjoyed the beach under the wonderful straw umbreallas protecting us from the sun. We had fun parcipati ng in the water aerobics and dancing in the lobby. We hope that we return to Paradise.

TRS Yucatan: Amazing resort, great for people with food allergies
The TRS is wonderful if you are looking for an adult only vacation. The staff are wonderful and attentive, which is a huge stress relieve to us since we both have major food allergies. The spa is fantastic, the pool is open late, and the plunge pool rooms are clean and modern.

TRS Turquesa: Awesome time!!
What an amazing time our group had. The pools, food and service was some of the best. The bartenders at building 57 were over the top. A big thanks to our butler Bismery, she went out of here way to take care of all of us. Always greeted with a smile and took care of any needs or issues we had. Should be Butler of the year!!

TRS Turquesa: Nice time
Over all we had a great time, we went with a group of 7 couples.
The swim up pool to our room was a nice treat and having a bar next to the pool made it very nice
.
The butler service was very nice with friendly staff. It was also very nice to have room service at any time.
The food and drinks were generally good. The beach was was very good with all sand with lots of it.
As for the down falls... the first two days were hit or miss when trying to get hot water.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Good resort
Overall experience was good. Cleanliness, staff and facility maintenance was in good shape. Need to include more of Vegetarian food as most of the vegetarian food has some sort of meat/fish in it so hard to find vegetarian food without meat. We had to request to Chef to cook food for us and they were friendly enough to make food for our choices but missing some spices to make it more tastier.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: 3 stars at best
The positive is that the resort and rooms are clean and the staff are pleasant. Also, the nightly entertainment was good.
Outside of that I don’t have many nice things to say. The resort is small, the pools are small, the rooms are tiny. The A/C in the rooms barely worked. There are no elevators anywhere in the resort. The door lock to our bathroom didn’t work. I had to call every day to have the room cleaned as they always forget. When the room was cleaned, they always forgot something. [... read more]
The resort is NOT stroller friendly at all with no ramps anywhere around the rooms (again, no elevators either).
There are many nice looking restaurants but the food is tasteless and mediocre at best in all of them.
I definitely would not go back.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Very nice resort with lots of potential
We stayed at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres from March 12-19, 2019 with our two kids (5 and 7) and had a wonderful time. The resort is brand new, beautiful, clean and has modern amenities.
The rooms are large, well equipped and no need to worry about a room key as your access wristband serves as your key. There is reliable wifi throughout the resort, which can be both a positive and a negative for obvious reasons.
The resort is quite large, so depending on your room location, cer[... read more]tain areas of the resort can require a 5-10 min walk. We were happy to walk, but others should be aware there is both a cart path and a canal transport to move around the resort if needed and you are willing to wait for an available ride. The grounds are well-maintained and will be even more impressive as they further develop.
For those not staying at TRS or in the Family Selection section, there is access to 2 pools and the splash pad, Our kids loved them all, with lots of activities at the main pool and the beach pool is particularly impressive looking with beach access nearby. Service was wonderful at all of the pools, with friendly staff always available. There are restricted access areas such as the pool on the TRS (adults only) side of the resort, the Family Selection pool and the travel club members pool - this is unfortunately the most visually appealing pool and the one you will see featured most prominently in photos of the resort. It would be preferred if these areas were open to all guests, but as long as you are aware of the restrictions when purchasing your package, it is not an issue as there are lots of other great areas on the resort. There was no shortage of seating near the pools, but the staff is also good at collecting towels to prevent guests from reserving seats while they are not actually at the pool areas.
The beach area is excellent, with the resort having left the natural growth on the beach intact. The water is clear, with no red flag days for our entire visit. The water does get deep fairly quickly, so parents should be aware of this. Costa Mujeres is expanding rapidly, so you can see several resorts under construction in the distance, but it is still quite beautiful and very safe to take a long walk down the beach past the other resorts and undeveloped areas. There is bar service on the beach, but during our stay it was generally under-served so it is advisable to grab towels and drinks on the way to the beach.
The food was generally very good during our stay, with us eating at the main buffet for breakfasts, the beach restaurant for lunches and the a la carte restaurants for dinner each night. All a la carte restaurants as well as the coffee shop/cake bar, sports bar, sky bar and theatre are located in the "village" area, which is definitely a highlight of the resort. The village area is located at the front of the resort and combines a cobblestone street, open air patios, restaurants and the theatre to create a hub of activity. During our stay, we understood the resort was running at 75% capacity and it was clear they were still learning their way in the restaurants as they were staffed accordingly. The food was generally very good, with the steakhouse, thai and mexican restaurants being our favourites. No reservations are required for the restaurants (with the only exception being the teppanyaki bar), so there was a wait for tables in some cases of up to 45 min. There was no shortage of space at the bar during the wait, but in some cases up to 1/3 of the tables were empty despite the wait list. This will undoubtedly improve over time, but people should be aware of this as the resort is still in its beginnings.
In all instances, staff were polite and accommodating throughout the resort.
There were lots of options for entertainment, with activities at the pools, games areas, theatre shows and beach shows in the evening (fire show, pirate show).
Overall, we were very satisfied with our trip to Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres. There are areas where the resort is still working things out, but that is also reflected in the pricing as compared to similar established 5 star resorts in the area. We would definitely consider returning in the future and would recommend this hotel to others.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Best family holiday!
A huge thanks to Fathia, our Tripcentral advisor, for recommending the Grand Palladium Jamaica for our family’s spring break holiday. The resort was perfect for our family. Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort!
The resort is brand new and the property and rooms are beautiful. We had an ocean front loft suite and absolutely loved it. There were a few kinks, our roof sprung an air conditioning leak two times resulting in a small flood each time. But repair each time was very quick and caused minimal inconvenience. The food was great and there was lots to choose from. The beach is gorgeous and offers great swimming. We stayed in family selection and enjoyed being close to the beach, having a restaur[... read more]ant in our building, the beach restaurant for lunch right next door, a family selection pool with a great restaurant as well. The boats to get around in were lovely. We had some adult time at the TRS pool when the kids checked out the kids club which was also beautiful. The beachfront pool was also amazing. My only complaint was that it was tough to figure out who to talk to when trying to sort reservations and getting bottles of wine. We met our family host at check in and then couldn’t figure out how to talk to the right person after that. We would go to the front desk at FS and were told they would leave a note but that rarely worked. It would be highly recommend to make this process much easier. We also found the large buffet La Isla disappointing with few options and only dined there once. All in all we had an incredible week and left feeling super relaxed!

I had a fantastic relaxing vacation at this resort! I cannot say enough about the service from Israel at the pool. Wow, he was amazingly on it....from the best drinks I ever had at a resort, exactly when we were just ready for them, to bringing fresh fruit and the best guac, salsa and chips! He truly made the trip so worth it. Love love love him! We relaxed at the pool daily and loved the live music. It was very chill and relaxing, had a great bar and a really nice Zen relaxing vibe. The music w[... read more]as spa like in the morning and then it amped up a little with the live musicians in the afternoon. The beach was gorgeous and this resort had soft fine sand, the least seaweed, and the water was a tropical tourquise. The best I've seen in Mexico. They even have a little dolphin area at the end of this strip of beach that we stumbled on the last day. The restaurants were very nice... We loved Helios... Awesome service, and food. I'm not a seafood lover but the grilled bass was amazing and I loved the fillet mignon. The French restaurant French onion soup was awesome and my friend loved their surf and turf. The steak was a different cut than I was used to and the lamb had a unique flavor that I didn't love, as I really like rosemary thyme flavored lamb and mint sauce. Totally loved the French restaurant's vibe though with the French music, long curtains and French provincial dishes. The rooms are amazing. I especially loved the loft suite with the bar, and modern decor. The beds were comfortable and it was really nice to have options of pillow loft. The outside balcony overlooked the pool and was really nice to eat breakfast on as you could hear the tranquil music in the morning. The single rooms are very nice...still modern and beautiful, but just not as outstanding as the loft. The balcony chairs need pillows to be comfortable. The opposite side in building 1, not overlooking the pool was really quiet and I could see the ocean. It was so nice to wake up to! All the people we met on the resort were super nice. The spa was awesome. I loved the variety of the rooms and the salt and snow rooms were cool unique touches! I heard positive things about their massages, as well! We wanted a relaxing vacation and this was it. We're all going to go back. I think in a few more months they'll have all the food down even more as well! I actually really liked that this resort had it's own osmosis water filtration system, so the water was safe to use. You also, have to see the Chic show when you go. It's awesome. Amazing singers and dancers! There wasn't a ton of night life, but they did have a beach party, nightly live music and dancing in the courtyard. There's also a little shopping mall area and a great bar where you can play pool and foosball. They had little boats and carts to help make travel easy around the resort as well. We had a wonderful vacation!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Pleasant stay
Enjoyed our vacation, amenities were good although we did not take advantage of everything available, we lazed on the beach with our books, walked everyday once the tide was out far enough to get safely around the point and swam frequently in the ocean. Not pool people, we come to the beach for the natural ocean swim (if we liked the pool, we may as well go to Arizona LOL) Had intended to get out in the kayaks but a persistent shoulder injury advised me against. The boogie boards we did play o[... read more]n were in kind of rough shape, scratched my legs up a bit. One day we went to borrow snorkel equipment but there was no one to assist, and although there was some equipment sitting there, we did not know if it was clean or if we had to book it out. Took advantage of the free Catamaran ride, but made sure we booked it right at 9 am.
Food was nice, reasonable variety, salsa and guacamole daily lunchtime staple. Did find that an awful lot of salt is used in everything! We ordered a Caesar a few times, which are already loaded with salt, and had to ask that salt not be added to the drink NOT the rim, I'm talking the Drink itself.
Enjoyed the Bambu restaurant and had dinner at the Mexican Adelita restaurant twice
Have had many all inclusive vacations over the years and know what to expect. We are at a point in our lives where we actually don't mind doing our own cooking, liquor selection etc but opted for a week of complete relaxation instead
The one thing i wish all inclusives could provide a step up in is WINE. Several options of hard liquor are available for cocktails (although sometimes i swear the same stuff just goes into different labels) but the house wines that are served in AI's are SOOO BAAAD. I did order a bottle one night to accompany a nice Italian dinner, it was a bottle that cost $12 at home, and was $50 CAD. The wine served tasted like it was watered down, with vinegar. If there is an effort to make the food delicious, why would you want to destroy it with crap wine? Sorry, i just can't drink tequila or cocktails at dinner.
Facilities were clean, room was serviced nicely although i did ask twice for a top up of the snack size peanuts we had on day 1 in our room, but never received any again.
Would I recommend this resort? Sure, but it is essentially the same as any other, no huge standouts.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fabulous time in Jamaïca
We've just returned from an absolutely perfect vacation at the beautiful Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton. We were impressed with how beautiful this all inclusive resort actually is. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. The buffets and à la carte restaurants did not disappoint. We chose a Palladium resort because they cater to food allergies (peanuts and chick peas, in our case). When checking in, they gave us cards to show the waiters. After we'd [... read more]be seated, the chef would take the time to meet with us and let us know what was safe or not on his menu. He would also make sure that the meal would be prepared without risk of cross contamination. They made everything seem easy. Highly recommended!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful resort
Grounds and ocean pool were amazing. Service in the Family Section was amazing as was one particular older gentleman server in the pool restaurant by the slides. Food was mostly a 3.5 star. We had an excellent time, third visit. We were actually married here and went back for our ten year anniversary with two little kids in tow. Made some great new memories. The servers treated our 8 month old baby like royalty!!!

Grand Palladium Palace: Excellent 7 days
This was our third stay at the Grand Palladium palace resort spa and casino.
My wife and I were extremely satisfied with all aspects of the resort. The renovated junior suite we stayed in was very clean everything worked well and the bed was very comfortable.
Our suite was approx. a one minute walk to the beach(that's about the same time for all suites ),The beach is clean and tidy with ample places to get a nice refreshing drink. We found the beach nice and quiet which is what we look[... read more] forward to, There are vendors walking the beach trying to get you to buy things, We found that if you didn't look at them they would continue walking on.
The ala carte dining was nice however, if you wish to go to the steak house we suggest you arrive shortly after it opens for dinner or you will have to wait a considerable length of time. The buffets were good .A nice selection ,Any person who is( for lack of a better term) a picky eater should have no problem.
Customer service we received was excellent,.in fact we spoke to other visitors who felt the same way.
Front line staff were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always very pleasant to deal with .
Looking forward to going back next year to the Grand Palladium Palace Resort spa and casino
