Grand Sunset Princess: Good resort

It was my friend and I's first time at this hotel in Cancun and we liked it. Although the room and washroom could've used better lighting. You also have to go down to make dinner reservations before 4pm for the next day. When we called to make a reservation when we finally checked into our room and settled in, it had past 4pm already but luckily we got a walk in. The music at the pools could've have done a LOT better. :/ Overall this resort was good.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: IT IS A VERY GOOD RESORT FOR FAMILY

HOTEL IS NOT BAD, NOT GOOD ON SUMMER TIME, CEILING FAN IS NOT ENOUGH TO COOL THE ROOM. QUITE FAR FROM THE BEACH, NEED MORE TROLLEY, TO GO WHEREVER YOU WANT, WAITING FOR A RIDE IS TIME CONSUMING.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: outstanding resort!

I don't even know where to start with the Valentin Imperial Resort! It is beyond luxury, it should be rated as 5+ star! The grounds are immaculate, the staff are always cleaning, weeding the many gardens, keeping all the pools and water areas sparking clean. The rooms are very classy and modern, everything you could ever want or need is there at your finger tips. The concierge in every building is a plus! All the staff from the concierge, the bartenders, servers, restaurant workers, housekeeping [... read more] staff, EVERYONE are so so nice and friendly and appreciative of each other and the resort guests. The beaches are beautiful and clean-there is a tractor cleaning the beach of seaweed, which I didn't find there was much. The bali bed on the beach was an added bonus. The resort is large but not overwhelming large. All the restaurants and entertainment are located in the same area which is so convenient. By far the best resort we have been to-cant wait to book our next trip!

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Absolutely amazing resort!

Absolutely amazing snorkeling at the hotel beach, restaurants (especially the Peruvian and Mexican ones) and lots of yoga classes with professional teachers in a breathtaking setting (under a huge palapa in front of the ocean)

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great time at Ocean Riviera Paradise!!!

We stayed from August 11-18 2019. Weather was perfect, the beach did have seaweed and water quality depended on the day. Beach entry is not easy as there are several meters of large sharp rocks so water shoes or “swimming” entry is recommended. We flew with Air Transat who had no line and no wait to leave Toronto However we had to wait over 45 mins for the shuttle provided to Transat to come. Drive was an easy 40 mins. Very nice interior with a really cool funky style. Some finishes could have been upgraded more but it was very nice and spotless clean. Absolutely no bugs at all seen anywhere during the trip. There are cicadas that visit the patios but they are harmless. Service was ok. Not great. Drinks were also just ok. Food was good with lots of options for dining and room service. We ate at most of the al la cartes they were all good. Also the beach la Paz restaurant and “villa marina” also both offer buffet selections. Villa for breakfast and lunch (then becomes the Mexican restaurant at night) and le Paz for lunch. Food was great and lots of options and all very fresh. The best service we had was from Luis at the villa marina breakfast. He was fantastic. The swimout was the best and was a highlight. Unfortunately the main pool at eden and the beach were very cloudy for some reason and also very warm. We didn’t use the other two pools. Also depending on restaurant certain drinks and cuts or meats they charge extra for. Overall I would say this is a 4 star property. I have stayed at the royalton riveria as well which is a superior hotel property with superior food and drink all inclusive however this is also reflected in the price difference. I would recommend the ocean riviera we had a great time.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Resort

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were very clean and neat. The service was excellent, they provided what we needed anytime we called them. The entertainment was excellent, something different every night. Buffet was very clean and food was delicious. I would recommend Grand Bahia to everyone and specially Sian Ka'an for adults. Thank you for the amazing service, will definitely go back there soon.

Unico 20 87 Hotel Riviera Maya: Amazing Staff!

Hotel was beautiful, it was unfortunate about the seaweed on the beach though,service was amazing, especially Ricardo in the 20 87 restaurant and Charley serving poolside drinks. Dont like having to reserve your chair at 6am though.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Fantastic Resort - Amazing Vacation Spot

My fiancé and I stayed at Paradisus La Perla - Royal Service from August 10-17, 2019. We had an absolutely amazing vacation at Paradisus and I am happy to provide a review. It was a wonderfully romantic resort and we actually got engaged during our stay!! Hotel grounds - Modern decor, exceptionally clean, outstanding suites. I actually [... read more] fell asleep in the lobby one evening on the mattress couches! Butler - Royal Service - Included with our Royal Service stay was A Butler. We had Alejandro as our Butler who was kind, friendly, professional, and thoughtful. Alejandro messaged us every morning to let us know that he was “at our service”. Alejandro provided us with amazing surprises such as beautifully drawn baths with rose petals, chocolate with notes, etc. He also promptly changed any bookings we needed and provided insight on the best spots to be on the resort. Pools - With the Royal Service, we had access to the private pool. The pool was quiet and relaxing with a swim up bar and surrounded by cabanas. We are more introverted people and really enjoyed a quieter pool for relaxing. Pool boys served juice, popsicles, and cold towels all day. We often set up a cabana bed for some shade time and to sleep! Staff - all staff were exceptional, especially the pool boys (Daniel and Elias) and waiters at La Palapa restaurant (polite, prompt, very friendly). Food - AMAZING. My fiancé and I are huge food fanatics and we loved every restaurant!!!!! Food was fresh, modern, high class, and delicious. Our favourite restaurant was La Palapa - we loved eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner there! Overall - We loved staying at Paradisus and would highly recommend for an amazing 5 star getaway. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Timeshare nightmare

The biggest issue was the circle one timeshare that was being sold upon entering the airport when we arrive to Mexico before we found our taxi we were hounded by sales representatives and unfortunately believed one of them and gave them the only cash we had on us for tipping they invited us to a breakfast the following day at a five Diamond Resort and told us that we would get discounts off the tour of the one of the Seven Wonders we foolishly believe them once we arrived at our hotel we were to [... read more]ld that they had an orientation the following morning ironically at the same time when we declined and said and asked if we can go at a different time they asked us directly if we were approached by someone at the airport trying to arrange for us to go to an orientation at another hotel. We were honest and told them what happened they said that they would help get our money back they in turn provided coupons that were redeemable for cash equivalent of $200 they said that we would have to also set screen orientation the next day basically it was the same sales pitch for the circle one Club and they took us to one of the buffet areas for breakfast basically told us that we should be tipping the staff at the buffets and asked us a whole series of questions of what we like what we don't like where we would like to travel to and so forth try to offers free alcohol then basically laid out the plan for us when we denied or decline the fun they left us and did bother to bring us back in the taxi they just let us walk back to the room. In addition to this the rooms were not ready until 3 p.m. are playing landed at 11 a.m. the lobby is not air-conditioned we were drenched I asked earlier around 1 p.m. if the room had been cleaned then after a series of phone calls they said yes it was ready thank goodness we thought to ask before 3 p.m. . The beach is a 10-minute bus ride away the buses come four times a day the beach at the resort was not deemed usable by the guests because it was dirty they had told us they had a seaweed problem bathrooms smell like sewage. The food was good at the buffets the restaurants would not take reservations if you did not wear long pants when you are basically in a sauna long pants do not come to mine and we didn't even bring long clothes long pants for the males in our family so the Mexican Italian and French restaurants were out of the question which left us with the steak and the fish this was unfortunate you would think that shorts would be admissible. I wouldn't recommend going to this Resort I would save your money if you don't have enough to book a better Resort I would wait until you can afford one and I would definitely do research because everything that I researched about this area was not what I expected. A tip to the organizer of this all-inclusive package you should not have flights arrive in the morning when rooms are not ready until late afternoon or make sure that the rooms are ready in conjunction with the flight arrival times telling a gas to go to the buffet for 3 hours is absolutely ridiculous you have all your clothes in your luggage you can't even go to the pool because you're not dressed for that right off the plane.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing trip!

Hotel was very nice! Huge but lots of shuttles to take you around. Food was amazing! Definitely had the best food out of all the vacations I have been on. Even the 24 hour snack bar was great! Entertainment was good! Lots of games and activities for both adults and kids. I even got to learn how to make sushi! Hands on! The only down fall was the seaweed on the beach but it did clear up abit the last 2 days we were there. The pools were great! It was a great day trip! amazing trip and I would definitely recommended the resort.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Phenomenal Resort! You have to go!!

The resort was amazing! Sandos Caracol has been by far one of the best resorts I have been too. There are loads of activities to do, such as swim in the multiple cenotes they have, go to the aqua park (fit for all ages), stuff your self in the restaurants and buffets, have a relaxing day at the spa, and snorkel all day in the ocean. Paradisus Playa Del Carmen Roulette: Impeccable Resort

From the amazing service, to the outstanding food, rooms- not to mention interior design of this resort.. no complaints. Our trip was amazing. We don’t normally go to the same resort twice, but we will definitely be back to Paradisus Playa del Carmen.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Unforgettable First Visit to Mexico!

The hotel was spotless, the service was amazing, and the food was great!!! We had 5 a la carte restaurant meals and went to: Kyoto (twice), La Fuenta, Mexico Linda, Trattoria and Brasserie (this was on the Palace side so we just paid $20USD each for a very fancy meal). Guest services and reception were both very helpful! The best activities on the resort were tennis and paddle boarding - both free with the resort stay. We also really enjoyed the Circus show and the Mexicana show. The [... read more] seaweed problem was minimal and there was a crew working around the clock to clear it. It was also fun to drink at the swimming pool bar at Maya Tropical. I highly recommend this resort as it was seamless and beautiful.

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Amazing entertaining resort

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Iberostar Paraiso Lindo more positive then negative

The grounds are very lush and beautiful. It always very clean. The pools are huge and well maintained. Pool Water was a little bit too warm to feel refresh. But the ocean with turquoise water was fantastic some days and with sea weeds other days. The beach with its soft white sand is great for nice walks. The only negative point is for the buffet. It is small the food is just okay and too repetitive. The Restaurant ms were better. It is a resort that I would return to.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful resort

We had an amazing week! Loved that the park was eco friendly lots of plants. We went to most of the dinner restaurants as they did not require a reservation the most we waited was 30mins, we never go to the restaurants that require reservation because we can never keep them. The food was good the rooms where nice the staff was excellent. We went to playa del Carmen to shop are got some good deals and went to Walmart to by alcohol as they had great prices we compared with the airport most of the one we got where 40% less at Walmart.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort - Everything was perfect!!

It's rare that I write reviews but wanted to share the awesome experience at Secrets Akumal. This resort is top notch - from food, service, drinks, the rooms, beach. Everything was amazing. We tried to find something to "complain" about but there truly wasn't anything. The resort is ~1.5 hour ride from the airport but the Akumal/Tulum area offers the nicer beaches. Although this beach had some seaweed it was cleared daily and the ocean remained clear with beautiful fish constantly swimming  [... read more]around you. Snorkling is very big here with equipment available at the dive shop if you do not want to bring your own. You never have to struggle for a beach chair or umbrella and towels are at an abundance - no need to hang on to it with fear of having to pay $25USD if lost! Amazing. The beach was a wide stretch of white sand, with daily activities (no pressure to participate), beach bar with swings, and the most amazing beach service ever. Thank you Francisco! The resort is visually stunning - feels very zen - and beautiful vegetation everywhere, and super clean. There are 3 pools, again, with daily fun activities and the ability to participate as much or as little as you like. Each day there is a specialty lunch served pool side (paella, pizza, bbq) in addition to a number of restaurants open for lunch. You can also order off a menu beach side delivered right to your beach chair. The service all over the resort was outstanding. The rooms were awesome with everything you need - very modern, clean, jacuzzi. We had the swim out which was beautiful. Room service typically arrives within 30 minutes, which you order off on Ipad, and a secret box available if you do not want to be disturbed when delivered or when dishes need pick up There is a flat screen tv with multiple channels in all languages. You can also order drinks via room service. It would be nice to have bar service at the swim up rooms if I had to offer a suggestion. There are a number of restaurants to choose from (no reservations required) in addition to theme nights. During our 5 day stay they had Taco Fest, Mexican Night and Brazilian Night, all outstanding if you wish to forego the restaurants. We tried Oceania (seafood) x 2 which was amazing. Be prepared to wait up to 1.5 hours for the entire dining experience as it is quite leisurely. There is nightly entertainment in the lobby (live music), vendors x 2 nights, shows and disco, which we did not try so unable to comment. It was a bit quiet at night so if you're looking for a "party" resort, this is not it, but there are a number of entertainment options available. The overall feel is relaxing and being pampered from the minute you arrive to when you leave. It is primarily couples and all ages with something for everyone. Overall, amazing, amazing. Would definitely recommend / return.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Amazing resort

The resort is huge as it combined 5 resorts together and can share all the facilities. Scuba dive center is amazing! All staffs are friendly! The pool and beach are beautiful! Only issue of the resort was there were lots of bugs or fleas or bed bugs and all of us got lots of bites. But Overall was a great resort!

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort!!

Probably one of the best resorts! Everything and everyone was amazing from the second we walked in they made us feel so special! The resort is very clean and kept very well, if anything would spill they were ready to clean! My best friend and I spent most of our time on the activities side since we did not want to leave the resort we needed things to do and The E-TEAM did not disappoint they were absolutely amazing! Ulisses is the team supervisor and he clearly knows what he’s doing [... read more].. Sandra, Moon, Natalia, Dora and Alexandro were my favourite they had energy they were fun, they always wanted to make sure we were having fun and truly we had a blast they really know what they are doing I would go back simply for them!! Truly an amazing entertainment team!! Twist and squeeze had two bartenders both named Fernando and they were 110% the best!! They made great drinks consistently! They were so attentive and they will make you a drink till the last second and even a little past the closing time! The restaurants were impeccable but our favourite restaurant for many reasons was the French one! The food was amazing (I recommend the beef medallion) but the service truly was mind blowing, Misael was our server both times and he is absolutely extraordinary 10/10 would recommend!! Kibbeh was also a great one and Sergio will make sure you leave with a smile on your face!! We are definitely coming back!!!
