Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Clean, fun and Friendly

This is the first experience my boyfriend and i have had in an all inclusive resort... we would definately go back.. The Staff we very friendly, we had alot of fun with them.. (I miss them) Efron, Blackie, Chocolatte, and Luci... we done the dune buggy and Snorkeling excursions, the tour guides on both were very helpful.. The food was great.. Brazilian, Mexican and Japanese Ala Carte were very good... Good bang for your buck...

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Perfect vacation!

The staff friendly, professional hard working. Entertainment staff were very energetic and fun. Rooms perfect with amazing views and kept spotless all week. The food was fantastic very tasty our favorite was the steak house. The grounds were impecably kept. We went as a couple, this is a family resort there is lots for kids to do all day, smiling faces everywhere! One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had! Loved it will definately go back!

Hotel Mojito: Beautiful Beach, Resort was okay...

The hotel grounds were actually very nice and clean, all the gardeners and cleaning staff worked hard. Rooms were old and run down, our toilet didn't work and the room smelled really bad (toxic), a technician attempted to fix it but never did. You only got decent service if you tipped, tipping was expected ALL THE TIME and if you didn't tip once you would not get service the next time. I was at the Grand Caribe a few months back and what a difference, service and staff was excellent despite of t [... read more]ipping, I travelled with my toddler and at the Grand Caribe, a high chair was always brought to us, here I always had to find the high chair myself and bring it to the table, never once did the waiter bring it for me. Food was pretty good for Cuba standards and the beach was absolutely stunning, so if you're mainly going for the beach, this may be the place for you!. Also the Michael Jackson show is incredible, these people belong on a BIG stage somewhere, they are too talented to be performing only at the resorts.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Good Resort

We enjoyed our stay at the Iberostar April 25-29. Staff were friendly and food was great. Rooms were a bit dated. If you are really fussy it's not the resort for you. Enjoyed my mornings on the porch drinking coffee in the hammock. lots of activities going on if you want to join in. Beach in front of this resort Is rocky. You have to walk out on the dock and go into the water from there to swim.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: amazing location

The Ensenachos has two beautiful beaches but there is not enough shade provided. Too few palapasses and many of the ones that are there have part of the roof missing. The resort was not nearly full (don't believe staff when they tell you that the resort is full, they are trained to say that) and still, when you go to the beach, say 10.00 am, you won't be able to find a place in the shade. This was very disappointing for us as the beach is the main thing for us to go to the Caribean.

Everything was amazing: food, beach, pool except that the last two days of our stay the air conditioning broke. The hotel did not say or do anything. Awaiting Air Transat rep. will be in contact with us from April 29th.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Great Resort don't be afraid to book it

The resort is very nicely set up and everything is close be. Very clean but it could do with some upgrades in the rooms and the buffet. However with this said for Cuba it's a pretty good hotel. I would recommend that that get better beach chairs because the plastic chairs are hard to sit in all day if you are a beach person. Food was ok. The rooms were clean on time every day. A couple of days they were short on towels but not a big issue as we just made do with the hand towels. Just have to remember that this is Cuba. Just go with an open mind and you will enjoy it.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Great Time!!!

The grounds at this resort are beautiful. There is lots of wildlife and the ground are very lush with greenery. Everything is really spread out so if you mind walking this is not for you. We enjoyed the pool, beach, food, and we met lots of great people.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: WONDERFUL!

Checked in by Shelly. We couldn't get a room close to our family members (they booked with a different travel service) so she upgraded us to an ocean view, her idea, because she was sorry she couldn't get us close to my "mommy". That was the beginning of many wonderful surprises at this resort. Low end? If the service at this end of the resort is low end, then they must be fed with golden spoons at the Suites and Grand. He not only told us the best way to get there, but stopped what he was doing to escort us to the door. They went above all expectations and never made us feel like we were a bother. We actually felt like we were at a family function much of the time. We are not big drinkers, but we enjoyed many of the mixed drinks. The servers and bartenders would make us up something when we had no idea what to order, and, oh yeah, they can mix some drinks! Miami Vice....enough said. The food was very good, even the buffet. Many selections, usually good and hot (depending on how long it takes you to make your plate and return to your table) and again the service was fast and very friendly. The a la cartes (make your reservations as soon as you can) are very, very good. The steaks are excellent!! The rooms are clean, comfortable and large. They are a little dated, but the service, beach and food were above my expectations, so a little bit of "needs updating" was the least of my concern. Check out, like check in, was quick and efficient. If you want to go to Jamaica and have great food, service and entertainment, not to mention the beautiful beach and sunsets.....Then this resort is for you. Don't bother spending extra money for the "higher ends" of this resort because, in my opinion, the service couldn't be better. Of course, we didn't ask for room service, so if you want that and the extras that go along with that, then great, by all means check out the Suites or Grand. Otherwise, I highly recommend the beach end of this resort. Relaxed and full of flavor! Thanks Trip Central and Iberostar Beach for a wonderful vacation! Can't wait to return!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Great holiday!!!

The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the rooms were very clean. I found the resort to be a bit too big for my liking. I mean it was good walking but lots of things were farther than I would have liked. The kids club however was AMAZING!!!! For the kids. They had a blast there and I couldn't get them out. They always had activities for them and made them feel comfortable. They came back every day with something new that they made or did. They take them for lunch and dinner and you pick them up when ever you want, but I will say they won't leave till the very last minute lol. I would say that I would have liked to have heard a lot more Spanish music than American. I can hear that anytime, when I go to Mexico or Dominican or other places like that, I want to hear the music from their culture for a week so I can get cometely submerged in the vacation. The other thing would be that they need to upgrade the bathtubs as they are not in the best shape. I was also told that I would have a pool view room and that wasn't the case when we got to our room. With that aside the food was pretty good and the service was good.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Very Nice Resort

Overall experience was Very Good. Grounds excellent, maid service very good, buffet very good, la cartes good, beach excellent, staff excellent. Had a great vacation. Would return to this resort. Thanks to Kim Hartlen at Trip Central Bedford NS for her recommendation.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome Resort.

The overhaul experience was awesome. The staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the hotel was very clean. If was very nice to go to a resort where people speak english and there was no language issues. The bar tenders at the pool bar where very friendly and always willing to have a chat. Would go back tomorrow.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Awesome Resort!!

Our stay at this resort was just fabulous. Myself, my husband and our friends enjoyed everything about Iberostar, Montego Bay. The location was a quick 15 minute bus ride and the transfer arranged by Trip Central was smooth and comfortable. Our room was big, bright and clean as a whistle. The food was delicious at both the buffet and the A LA Cartes. The beach and pool area was also clean and well kept. The lazy river was an extra bonus even for us adults!! The Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort was a wonderful resort. The grounds were very beautiful. Intertainment was awesome. The food was great. The people so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beach was grand and the pool, lets just say beautiful and lots of fun.

Hotel Mojito: Fantastic time

My husband and I just returned from our 6th visit at the Mojito. As usual, the staff was terrific, always smiling and ready to please. Our room was perfect, as it had been newly decorated. The food and service was just great. We enjoyed the beautiful beach everyday. Iberostar Waves Tucan: Amazing Vacation

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Iberostar Quetzal. The staff were friendly, our room was spotless, meals were good and the natural wildlife around the hotel made this hotel a very special one. The pools, beachside facilities and restaurants were lovely. The hotel was also within walking distance of Playa del Carmen and very close to a Starbucks. We were very happy with our stay here.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Fantastic vacation!

This hotel was absolutely amazing from the time we stepped into the front foyer until the time we left. From the immaculate landscaping to the wild life that was made completely a part of the experience. It was incredibly clean, the service was outstanding, never once feeling the pressure to tip and always getting the best they had to offer. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Nice resort but bad service !!

Very good entertainment team ! Nice beach and water but the sand full of flies. Nice room and room service but buffet and a la carte restaurants very poor service ! is too bad because the area is very nice but not enough attention to the clients and their needs.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Nice resort

The hotel itself was beautiful, true replication of the pictures on line. However, the washer broke and was never repaired the entire time we were there meaning that we had to use the same beach towel for the entire week. Yuk!! Food and people were fabulous.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great Resort

We had a great time, it was sunny every day the resort was clean, staff was friendly. Our room was clean and keep clean by a wonderful lady by name of Elneza, the beach grill served fresh fish and pizza at lunch . At the buffee for dinner one niight there was lobster very delicious. My only complain wouldbe that there was not enough shade at the beach.
