Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great Resort Overall

The Memories Caribe resort was terrific overall. Great rooms (the renovated ones), good food and fantastic staff. Beautiful beach. My only concern is the uneven risers on the stairs in my building. I tripped on the extra-high top steps and badly bruised both legs on my first day. They are dangerous and need to be fixed. Otherwise, everything was terrific. The resort makes an effort to ensure your stay is as good as it can be.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice Resort

Was there two years ago and I can't believe the difference in the beach...absolutely amazing transformation....I found the food was not as good as it was before....the rooms are nice but there are some things that need fixing....overall would recommend this resort

Melia Jardines del Rey: Big resort but worth it

The Melia did not disappoint. It is very well maintained and very clean. The Cuban people are a happy and interestong people; proud of their culture and curious to learn about others. It is a very big resort so if you book here be specific about where you prefer to be located- beach or restaurants. The food is ample and satisfactory. The beach is the very best part of this place. Melia Jardines del Rey: Amazing resort

The resort was absolutely beautiful, well layed out and easy access to both beach and pool.The service was great and the food was surprisingly good for Cuba.The entertainment was fun and staff were very friendly and helpful.It was an amazing place to stay and I would totally recommend it to family and friends.

Sol Cayo Coco: Amazing time at Sol Cayo coco

This was my second time at Sol Cayo coco. Staff is just amazing and so are the beaches. Nice small resort and felt very safe. I would definitely recommend this resort for families. I will be booking a trip to return as soon as possible.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great resort!

We had a fun time at Memories Flamenco! The location of our room was perfect ~ close to the lobby, beach and theatre. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the quiet pool. The maid did a good job on cleaning our room, and our fridge was restocked daily. However, we did have some issues with the AC, which was fixed within a couple of days. The service overall was great, most staff going out of their way to please you. The food at the buffet could see some improvement as it was repet [... read more]itive and not always hot. The beach was amazing, never any problem finding a lounge chair, and the entertainment during the day was great, however, the shows in the evening were just ok. Overall, we were pleased with this resort.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great Vacation resort!

We returned from this resort on Friday April 14 early hours, and will definately be coming back one day in the future for a week to hopefully complete some of the other excursions that we were not able to complete! There are a couple of things that I think would make the resort a little more smoother to ensure everyone's enjoyment though, for example: it is impossible to get a seat at the pool as people go to the pool put their towels down on chairs and then go to breakfast and/or an excursion  [... read more]for the day and return to their reserved chairs. I think there should be a policy about this and/or some kind of reserve policy that can be done to ensure that everyone gets a chance to sit at the pool comfortably rather thank fighting for a chair just to enjoy a swim. On another note, it would be helpful to have a little better staff attention at the snack bar particularly after 10pm at night since there were a few times we had to go up to the bar to get our drinks and order our food since none of the staff were coming over and there was definately plenty of them wandering around and talking. On a happier note the buffet, and a la carte restaurants were amazing with a variety of food to please everyone's pallet. The rooms were adequate however it would have been helpful if we had gotten the king suite that we had reserved instead of the two (junior twins) we received. Being part of the diamond club we cannot say enough about the beach service as it was GREAT and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people were friendly that we met. There are a few things as part of the diamond club that need to be revised in your advertising as the Flamenco did not offer robes in your room as advertised etc.......but this is definately not going to stop us from coming back. A great week away, and thoroughly enjoyed the nightly entertainment especially the Michael Jackson tribute, it was amazing! Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing Vacation!

The resort was so clean. The service was impeccable, the beach was beautiful, the food was very good. I've been to many, many resorts and this one was a 10 out of 10. Thanks to Robyn Murray for her suggestion and overall help with booking. 😊

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice resort

We really enjoyed this resort. Great size, spectacular beach, friendly staff and good food. Our room was a little dated but everything worked. No problem with our water or ac. Beds were a little hard and the pillows flat but we asked for and received extra pillows and got used to the bed. We don't generally nitpick anyway so we're easy to please. Grounds are well kept. We had a fun week.

Hotel Mojito: Had a great time!

We travelled to the Iberostar Mojito for a quick 4 night girls getaway. The food was the best I've had in my 8 trips to Cuba. The resort was clean and I loved the fact that there was an adult only pool. There were many return guests that had a special bracelet that they give out after your 7th or 8th stay. The o [... read more]nly things I really disliked about this resort is the fact that other than the ground floor terraces there weren't any balconies at all. I've never seen that before and I don't understand why they would design it that way. Also the pools had lots of green algae growing in them. I'm not sure how often they are scrubbed but it was there when we arrived and also when we left. The beach was beautiful and the staff mostly friendly.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Wow amazing resort

A very family oriented hotel, we had a great time and would recommend this resort. The staff was exceptional and happy to help. I would go back in a heartbeat. A big thank you to the staff you absolutely made our stay very memorable.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Spectacular Cuba resort! The best yet!

What an amazing, breath taking resort. Hands down, the best cuba resort I've ever herd of and been to myself. Would recommend this to anyone! VERY modern and clean! including the rooms, bathrooms, resort bathrooms and everywhere on the resort. Two of the el a carts were breath taking, japeneese and gormet were my favourite. You walked in feeling like you were at 5 star restaurant for both places. Food at both restaurants were very very good, that's comming from a foodie myself and 3 people as we [... read more]ll. The mediterranean al e cart was my least favourite as they used food from the buffet and it was not mediterranean cuisine. Another downfall for me is that there is NOT your typical beach. It is man made and the sand area with lay down chairs and huts are behind a beautiful boardwalk ultimately blocking your view of the water. There is no real beach here which was huge for me. There was steps that you could enter the water with from the board walk but there was a tiny area with sand that led into the water, which was were the sail boats and paddle boats were. Which were by the way free and so much fun to go with a group of people on!. On the bright side you are a 20 min walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Cuba called Playa Pilar. You so have to pay for drinks and your beach chair. But it is WELL worth it and that's were you get your REAL beach. It is unreal and just absolutely amazing. Overall a WONDERFUL experience and amazing resort, one of the best I have been too. A must go!

Sol Cayo Coco: Great place!

My 81 yr. old Mom, 21 yr. old son and myself shared a room. It was spacious and adequate. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Our maid service was wonderful. We never wanted for anything and she left us a lovely thank you note when we left. We had fresh water every day and fresh towels when we indicated a need. Our building was well kept and clean at all times. The pool areas/bar areas in general, were very clean. The pool always looked fresh and inviting. The workout room could have used some [... read more] upgrading but even so, I could get some weights in and that was adequate. The grounds around this area often had litter scattered about...seems like mostly hotel guests leaving cups/cans behind. Sad really. The beaches were beyond beautiful. We were helped to get sun chairs every day and always found a shady spot easily. I haad heard there could be a problem with sand flies or mosquitos but we never saw one. There are two distinct beaches separated by a mound of lava rock and both were wonderful and long, and easy to run or walk on. The food was well prepared, tasty and varied. We rarely had to wait long for anything. The drinks and bar services were excellent. The entertainment was really enjoyable and the dancing group we saw twice, just blew us away. All of the people working at the resort were courteous and friendly. The front desk was always helpful, quick and friendly. Our stay was a 10/10!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Amazing resort , best trip ever .. the people are just 😍😍

Nice and quiet resort , people are ready to give their shirt of their back in a heartbeat. They are so welcoming and ensure you feel at home! The bartenders and bell boys , honestly BEST people ever and best experience with them! We will be going back to visit them! Not just going to Cuba for the beach but for the friends we have made ! So grateful to have had this eye opening experience!

Tryp Cayo Coco: Home away from home

I love Cuba. I love the country and I especially love the people. Tryp Cayo Coco was a truly great experience. Even though I came down with pneumonia on my first day there I can't say enough good things about the resort. The medical care was excellent. The resort was great and the staff were awesome. Clean and well taken care of. Updates are in the works. Food was good and plentiful. I recommend the lobster when in season. I will definitely visit this resort again and again.

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: very tired looking resort

We were at this resort 5 times in the past, although it was 10 years ago, reception area clean, check-in was quick, staff very efficient with what they have to work with. First night the room was dirty, smelly, holes in the wall, you could open the door even if locked. We requested to be changed and they did the next day. Bungalow was fine, bed comfortable but air conditioner did not cool the room and we had set it at 15 degrees, did not help. Fridge even on high did not cool our water or so [... read more]da. Maid service was good, although the linens, towels had seen better days. Pool was fine although there was only one umbrella was shade, so you had to get up quite early to claim it yours. Food at the a la carte restaurant was average, food at the buffet, very limited choice and no change in seven days. The place needs to be renovated. Grounds were ok, although not many flowers. I enjoyed the locals very much. Lolitha in customer service could not do enough for you, even offered to bring her umbrella from home for us to use during the week we were there. She was a gem and I think that she put outs a lot of fires because quite a few people were disappointed with the place.

Hotel Mojito: Great resort!

Had a wonderful vacation at Iberostar Mojito. Grounds and rooms were very clean. Beautiful beach, great for long walks. Pool with swim up bar was the perfect place to hang out. Food was the best we have had in Cuba. Especially enjoyed the lunch time grill in the picnic area on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The a la carte were great, as well as the buffet for breakfast and the snack bar anytime. Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Beautiful Resort ,Awesome People

We were at the Iberostar Playa Pilar for our second time.Staff are amazing ,they do everything they can to make your stay fun and memorable.The rooms are clean and comfortable and the air conditioning works great. We booked an Ocean View but when we arrived we were up grated to a Jr. Suite with an amazing view of the ocean.We ate all the restaurants and the food was good, especially at the Gourmet and Japanese Restaurants.The buffet had a lot of variety of food so it was always easy to find som [... read more]ething to eat.The board walk at the ocean is so nice.They have comfortable beds and chairs to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean and a bar that makes great drinks. Pilar beach is only about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the resort and is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been on.Oh and yes! The entertainment is fantastic,great pre shows and main shows.Can't wait to go back.

Hotel Playa Coco: Second Time Here

Our second visit to this resort and it was lovely again. There are some upgrades going on and and will only make this place better. The beach here is amazing, water so clear and calm. We walked for hours. Our room was quite large and the maids looked after us so well. All the staff throughout the whole hotel are friendly & helpful . The food was typical Cuba, but plenty of it .
