Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Great Value and Vacation

Great Resort!!! This was our first time in Cuba and we were not disappointed. The staff at the Iberostar Laguna Azul were overall very friendly and inviting. The beaches and property were also well maintained. Nightly shows were high quality and the musical talent is world class. Highly recommend the a la carte restaurants; specifically the Japanese. Would return in a heart beat!!!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: amazing resort

I would highly recommend this gorgeous resort. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing, the grounds are always clean. The rooms are magnificent. All of the Ala carte restaurants are great and the buffet is wonderful. There are no negatives about this resort. If you hear different don't listen.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing service, amazing resort, fantastic people

This is my 6th time to Varadero and my boyfriends 1st. This was by far the best resort I have stayed at. The food was good, lots of variety. The people were amazing and the resort grounds were well kept beautiful and clean. Our room was all we needed - showers weren't boiling hot but considering its a hot country it was not necessary. I would definitely visit this resort again

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great holiday!

We stayed in the Grand Villa Suite section of the hotel. This area is secluded from the other areas of the hotel and is restricted to 14+. The rooms are large and spacious with a private patio and jacuzzi. We received fresh towels every day and evening maid service. The beach was a 5 minute walk from our room and it was amazing. The meals at both the Suites restaurant and the other 3 a la carte restaurants were very good. The service was wonderful.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Wonderful Resort & Vacation!

Second visit to this resort - value for your money is the best in the DR. Resort has beautiful grounds, a beautiful large pool with a children's area and swim up bar. The buffet has tons of variety including fish, steak, pork chops, and chicken on every night. Depending on the theme of the night they serve lobster, tacos, sushi, ect all at the buffet. There is pizza, hot dogs, french fries, salad, nachos, sandwiches, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and fruits available at lunch and dinner. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and they put a lot of effort into both daytime and evening entertainment. The rooms are not brand new but certainly not outdated, they are always clean. Overall, I would certainly return to this resort as it was a wonderful vacation with great weather!

Our room was very nice, our maid was excellent. We never had hot water only warm the full week we were there. One thing I would like to say, We were surprised there was no one at the door of the buffet area with hand sanitizer. Also the buffet area was over crowded all the time, the food so so. Not enough staff for the amount of people. The entertainment was very good, overall the resort was very clean.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Worth every penny!

We were there Apr 9 - 16 and enjoyed every moment. Beaches were beautiful, staff were really nice, food was ok (bring ketchup), the rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was beautiful. Definitely will return.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Paradise!

I have high expectations of a five star and hope I get what I pay for. This resort gets a 10 on everything. It was paradise. Resort layout amazing, limited walking, everything nice and close without it feeling small. Golf great! Ocean front rooms, breathtaking, just steps away from a spectacular beach. The rooms were cleaned within a couple of hours of leaving it in the morning. Food, fabulous. I cannot say enough about every employee we encountered. They were engaging, informative, forward thi [... read more]nking and almost all spoke English. Most of the employees had a College certificate in Tourism, which is apparently a prerequisite to work there. The towel girl noticed that my mother had difficulty walking in the sand to the beach chairs. The next day the towels were waiting for us on the chairs closest to the walk way. Thanks Yuri! I got a cold towards the end of our vacation and the beach butler/bartender "Luis" made me a hot toddy with lemon and honey. I did not ask for it, he just handed it to me. They are really able to get to know you as it is a very intimate setting. I could go on and on but I think you get it. This place is the epitome of perfection. We will be returning next year.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: The Best Resort in Cuba for sure!!!!

Honestly the best Resort in Cuba! We went to Cuba 10 years ago and got so turned off because of the food and never returned back. After hearing good thing about Iberostar Varadero from some of our friends we decided to take our chance. We were truly blown away with this place! Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Beautiful resort too bad the food was bad!

We paid a lot of money to go away to a good resort. Spent the week looking for something to good to eat! Found a few good items now and then but mostly bad trip adviser said the seafood restaurant was the best! We ate the surf and turf then around 12 am we stated going to the bathroom we were sick for a day and one half I mean more sick than I have ever been! Told the management after they compensateed is by letting is check out two hours later. ( big deal ) we missed the best party of the week  [... read more]on the the beach was very disappointing . Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Dream Vacation!

We stayed in the Spa section. Amazing beaches, pools & people! The food was OK - we always found something to eat. Wish the pools were open later. We went as a couple but plan to return with the kids!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Attention to detail.

We stayed here from April 8th to the 15th. A stunning resort, outstanding quality, extremely friendly staff and top quality food and alcohol. What more can we say. When you can have grilled lobster and filet mignon for lunch, you are in heaven.

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: punta cana

The resort was lovely the people super nice and very attentive. My only issue was the insane hard sell of the star club I said not interested repeatedly my husband unfortunately got us involved with a tour and it took us a while to get away from the sales lecture .I will not accept a free vacation with a sales pitch attached why would I take time out from our vacation to listen to the hard sell. Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: A wonderful and relaxing vacation

We spent a week at the hotel and we have nothing but great things to say about it. Our room was clean and spacious, the food was very good (we loved the à la carte restaurants), the service was very friendly, the pool was fun and the beach was beautiful. We would go back again and would recommend the resort to others!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great resort

Nice beaches, great people. Rooms are just ok. Good variety of foods. Ask hotel about taking a boat ride to a nearby snorkelling adventure. It's a lot better trying to arrange it with hotel than your group.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Good family hotel

Good hotel...plenty of good fresh food. We travelled with 2 kids and we had an amazing time. Beach is clean and drinks are served throughout the day. Room is clean but old. They dont change towels daily though, otherwise the service is nice. The maid would make a nice decoration on the bed with the towels or linens. If you are planning to go to Havana, better take a local taxi and visit the places you want to. Afterwards just get a taxi from there back to the hotel. Its pointless to book with th [... read more]e hotel because its costly and they drive you everywhere in Havana rather than let you get down and walk to places. The hotel taxis will insist to bring you a restaurant so they get commission.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Great Easter Break Holiday

This hotel is just the right size--has all the amenities but still not overwhelming. Lots of activities available for teenage girls. Staff friendly and the entertainment staff really did a great job getting everyone involved . Resort was clean. Nice beach. Good food. Wonderful party/festive atmosphere.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Mexico is better than Cuba

Grounds were good, the pool and beach are great, people are ok, but the lousy food ruins the experience!!!!! Have been to Mexico, and find it much better, when you spend the day worried about what they are going to feed you for dinner, that kinda ruins the fun!!

Hotel Mojito: Great Value

The Iberostar Mojito is a great family resort! The pools are well kept, the room are tired but quite adequate, the food is fantastic even if you have a picky eater along fir the trip, and the beach is second to none! I have only 2 complaints; 1. public bathrooms NEED an update 2. Some of the lobby bar staff were older and perhaps not great with customer service. This was our second time to the resort and I'm undecided if I would return or try another in Cayo Coco. The biggest bonus about this resort is the 15 min commute to the airport.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful experience

We had a great time at Iberostar Daiquiri, Cayo Guillermo. I have a walking disability and the resort provided me with a ground floor room very close to the buffet. It was perfect for me. The pathways are smooth concrete and there are ramps everywhere so I had no trouble navigating with my mobility scooter. We enjoyed the food, especially the Mexican a la carte. We went for the rest and warmth and that is what we got. Thanks to all the great staff who treated us so well!
