Sunset at the Palms: Nice Piece of Paradise

This resort has everything you need. Great rooms, service and attention to details. The staff is always friendly and professional. Problems are resolved quickly. The food and bar service was excellent. I will definitely recommend this resort to family and friends. Terry

Sandals Dunn's River: Jewel Dunn River Ocho Rios

Beautiful clean resort , excellent service , nice variety of food and everything was tasty ! Lots to do on site and close to many Jamaican sightseeing destinations .Lots of room and plenty of beachchairs to accommodate everyone .

We had a great time , all staff were so nice and helpful . The rooms were very nice.liked the way everyone made us feel. We were at home their.We will be back some day.Thank you.It was nice to have pillow options. Made our sleeps complete.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Welcome home Mon

I'm very reluctant to give a positive review of Jewel Runaway Bay...because it means more folk will go and we might have difficulty getting bookings! Jewel is just that, a jewel of a resort. Granted, it is not big at around 300 rooms, but that is part of its charm. The rooms are well appointed and immaculately kept, the restaurants offer enough choices that even the pickiest eater should be happy (suggestion for ordering in the Italian restaurant-- pasta? ask for a 'half' serving or order a serv [... read more]ing between two people!! HUGE portions) the grounds are lush, beach pristine the water is a beautiful turquoise blue with an amazing coral reef just beyond the roped off swimming area. The 'designation' is a family resort, and it is that -- not only are there activities for all age groups but you are also treated like family. The staff actually recognize you and, if you make a return trip, remember you. Case in point -- we were at Jewel last September, and have just returned from a January visit, on our first morning heading for breakfast Kerry Ann the hostess for the buffet, stopped dead in her tracks and said 'you're back!' and came over to give us a hug ...she wasn't the only person to recognize us, and when they did, the greeting was usually 'welcome home' -- not something you get at a mega resort like Riu, Bahia or similar. If you are looking for lots of night life and local clubs, this may not be the resort for you but if you prefer good evening entertainment and a variety of daytime activities to choose from I think you'll find what you are looking for here.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Elegant Resort....some areas lacking.

We stayed at the Grand from January 13 to 23, 2016 . Resort was beautiful but all areas relating to meals and food was sadly lacking. Gluten free options were pitiful and any mention of food allergies were not well received. Reservations for the restaurants were also badly managed. We were told there were no reservations left yet restaurants were half empty? Service was slow as they seemed short staffed. We did enjoy all other aspects of the resort.

Dreams Rose Hall: Only 3 Star without waterpark

Overall okay. Nothing special if it didn't have the Sugar Mills waterpark. Ridiculous that an "all inclusive" resort charges for room service and disallows take-out from the buffet. Cabanas throughout pool and waterpark area are "reserved" but never used. More liberal anti-smoking regulations would be nice. Walls and ceilings are paper thin (could hear low volume TV and conversations from all surrounding rooms). The "Hilton" reputation has fallen considerably in my opinion.

Rooms On The Beach: Good for the price.

Rooms were clean and all public areas were maintained. Beach chairs needed updating but were always available. Had slight problem with air conditioner squeaking but was fixed within an hour of reporting to desk. Continental breakfast could have been a bit more varied. Watermelon and banana seemed to be fruit of choice by hotel. Overall decent place and would stay again.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Perfect family resort

We just got back from our trip. We travelled with our 13 and 10 year old and our 11 month old. This is the a wonderful resort for families. We stayed in a family suit which had plenty of room for our two boys to hang out away from us and enough room for a crib for the baby. I was truly impressed. The resort is super clean and with a baby that was very important. They were very accommodating in leaving extra bottles of water in our room for making baby bottles. My older boys ate everything and lo [... read more]ts of it. I can not complain about the food. It was great. The boys had a wonderful time on the water slides and in the family pool. The entertainment was fabulous with multiple shows in different parts of the resort all evening. The staff were superb. Always smiling and asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything. the beach and water was very clean and absolutely beautiful. the only thing that was a little annoying was at night the mosquitos were out and they bite. So bring mosquito repellent. We have mosquitos at home so we just delt with it. What you see on the website is what you get. A beautiful resort and a beautiful paradise. I miss it already. We will definitely be going back!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Beaches...but loud

We enjoyed our visit to Jamaica. The resort had some great aspects: family friendly, good food, nice rooms, great beaches, (mostly) friendly staff. Unfortunately, we found the resort noisy in the evenings. The entertainment is hosted in the main pool area which is central to the entire resort. Once the entertainment starts at around 7:00 p.m. it's impossible to have a conversation at the main bar, in the main dining area or in the two restaurants on the second floor. If you find the particular t [... read more]ype of entertainment being offered that evening appealing, you can pull up a chair and enjoy. However, if you are not interested, the options are to either walk in the dark on the beach or go back your room. For this reason alone we would not recommend this resort.

Hedonism II: Fantastic time!

This was our first time at Hedo and we had a blast. If you break it down into categories some things could be better however overall experience is amazing. A sense of freedom, fun and relaxed atmosphere, parties, piano bar, there is something for everyone. Its great for swingers and also for open minded sexy people who are not in the lifestyle. A must try!

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Nice resort

Great place and service. Was designed for a family atmosphere less of a party location. Food was great but the hours of the restaurants were no good. Room cleaning was not set up well had people trying to clean rooms at 10pm

Sandals South Coast: Awesome trip to Jamaica - Sandals Whitehouse

This is our second trip to Jamaica and the first to Sandals Whitehouse.. The resort is in the south west coast of Jamaica and out of the way from built up areas unlike Negril. If you are seeking a relaxing vacation on a resort that is quite spread out and is relatively quiet with excellent staff, food choices and a nice beach.. this is the resort for you. Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Perfect resort for families or anyone !!

This resort has it all, great staff, good comfortable rooms, excellent restaurants and all stretched out on a beautiul beach just steps away from anything that you want. The waterpark is first class fun for all ages.

Hotel and grounds 5, buffet restaurant selection 5, quality 4, service 3, fruits unripe at 50% of the time. Female severs, no women no smile. A la carte restaurant service 5, quality 4. Beach area crowded not enough shade, or beach chairs, water bit murky 2, "beach center" 2 old broken, and ripped windsurfers and 3 catamarans with ripped sails I would give it a 1. Entertainment 2. I would recommend this hotel to a friend, but not for this price.

Grand Palladium Jamaica: good resort

dining can be improved - not enough fruit , salad, veggie selection. Indian restaurant food was served warm not hot, service was poor, itilian service was poor, not enough flavor at the buffet. Buffet service was good. overall resort was good.

Couples Tower Isle: Amazing Honeymoon

The resort was absolutely beautiful! The staff were excellent and friendly. My only complaint would be that the hot tubes were very dated, they could have had drink menus and the beach is a bit small. We had an excellent time nonetheless. Food was great and activities included were a blast. I wouldn't recommend going in the Piano Bar it smelt horribly of mould!

Coco La Palm: Everything you need in Negril!

Coco La Palm is an amazing resort, perfectly situated on 7 Mile beach. The rooms are basic, yet comfortable, which is all you really need! All your money should be spent enjoying the sites and sounds that Negril has to offer. The staff are so kind and truly care about your well-being. (We gave lots of hugs at the end of our trip!) Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Excellent Resort and Location

We had a awesome vacation! The rooms were very clean. The cleaning staff did a very good job everyday. The food was excellent!!! The nightly entertainment was good. The staff in this resort was very helpful and friendly. Overall this made our stay a very memorable one. Will definitely recommend this resort.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great beach!

The rooms were a little dysfunctional - small bathroom and air conditioning making a lot of noise and not fully functional. The beach though was awesome. As the second time around - I found the menus did not have much choice apart from the buffet.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Really?

This resort was run-down and filthy, the food gave us food poisoning and the staff was disrespectful and unenthusiastic. They are understaffed and overworked. We are still in disbelief as to how terrible our trip was. Thankfully it was sunny and we made our own fun. Full review to be posted on trip advisor shortly.
