Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Big place with lots to do!

Love the jerk chicken at lunch everyday, just wish it was done on a bbq and not in an oven to be authentic. The pool was great to hang out in everyday but I wish the volleyball court was closer and on the sand so people would actually play. Overall good resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Lovely resort

Our room overlooking the ocean was beautiful. The rooms were bright, airy and clean. The food was overall good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Avoid the Timeshare people. The supposed 90 minute presentation turns into a 4 hour hard sell pressure tactic. Most excursions are pricey. The pools, beach and grounds were very nice and well kept. We experienced flight issues where we lost a whole day and a half at the resort and we were not compensated by hotel even though we were not there to enjo [... read more]y it. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Wonderful Stay!

We stayed in the Hyatt Zilara, the adults only section. Apparently, the building is newer than the Ziva and the rooms are modernized. The majority of the restaurants are in the Ziva section and another building called "The Rose Hall". It made for a pleasant walk in the evenings. The hotel should advertise this place as both a beach and golf destination. 15 min. from the airport was an additional plus! I'd definitely go back!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Fantastic resort

The all I can say everything was excellent.The food and the service was amaizing.We love the entertainment and it was just all around fun time.i would definitely like to return and recommend this resort to all my friends.It also was very clean place.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: All right resort

All right resort. Been to better resorts. paid for international drinks and received only local drinks. Bartender in main lobby not friendly at all. Housekeeping not up to par. Out of the seven days had to call had to call for towels.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE!

The staff worked very hard to make our trip a lot of fun with the right balance of relaxation. The scuba instructor (Tess) was excellent and very personable. We really enjoyed the clean environment and choices of great food. We plan to return again. Jamaican people are the best!

Riu Montego Bay: Good resort

Resort was beautiful, pools could be cleaner as could beach lots of seaweed. Food was absolutely amazing. Staff were great. Rooms were kept very clean beds could be more comfortable overal it was a great place to relax

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great time

Friendly staff. Clean rooms great food. Beaches were ok. But there are better on the island. Room location was super. Quiet beach which was exactly what I wanted. Bathrooms all over the resort were very clean.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury resort

My girlfriend and I just got back from a 7 day stay. It was our first time in Jamaica and definately won't be the last. All resort employees were extremely helpful and fun. The food was top of the line, room service and butler service was great.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing resort!

This resort was amazing. From the moment we entered the building we felt welcomed and relaxed. We received an upgrade to the grand when we arrived, we were so grateful, this was our first Caribbean trip, it was more than we expected. The rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable , and every time we left it was cleaned. The staff was cheerful, and always ready to help. The pools were beautiful, and well maintained. The beach was gorgeous , beautiful colour and nice sand. The food was AMAZING. We m [... read more]ostly ate at the buffet, which was always good, and Every night was something different as their main feature. We ate one a la carte dinner on the beach, and that was amazing too. The star friends show was great we especially enjoyed the boogie nights- very talented and fun to watch. Overall we had an amazing time, we stayed 4 nights, and wish we could go back!!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury Bahia-Jan 12, 2016

This was our second time to this resort. Last time we stayed on the Grand Bahia side. We stayed on the luxury side this time and it was awesome!! It's like a brand new hotel. The extra money we spent was worth it. They are building a new beach for the luxury side. Kind of small but nice sand. The people at this resort are so helpful and nice. Beaches Jamaica Negril: Poor safety and dishonest practises.

I believe most parents will agree that the top priority of any trip is to ensure the safety and timely travel to the destination for our children. For this reason the travel providers have failed us on this trip so I will not travel with Westjet, Westjet Travel, and Beaches. Before leaving my wife emailed and called Westjet Travel and Beaches to confirm a car seat for our toddler. When we arrived there was no car seat for a 1.5 hour car race to Nigrel with my baby in my arms. On the ride back t [... read more]o the airport I asked twice for a car seat back to the airport and the folks at Beaches managed to provide a seat only to tell me that I needed to install it in their vehicle as they did not want to take on any insurance claims. When attaching the seat the main anchoring strap was missing so I had to brace the chair the 1.5 hours to the airport so once again no use. We get to the airport only to have Westjet tell us that there is a three hour delay to our flight due to weather in Toronto. The weather in Toronto was sunny and 4 degrees. Nothing wrong with the weather in Toronto. Speaking to the agent at Westjet, I questioned what type of weather issues is causing this delay and he tells me that Westjet just had a later flight planned about a month ago. I purchased my flight only a couple weeks ago so Westjet Travels sold tickets knowing they would not fly at 4:30 and would consolidate to a later flight at 7:30pm. My ticket purchase was with the understanding that I would pay more to get my toddler in at a normal hour. I decided to leave names out as I will provide that to the Ministry of Transportation when I make a formal complaint. I will not go back to Beaches and will not fly Westjet if this is how they want to conduct business.

Sandals Jamaica Caribbean Cay: Best Vacation Ever

Sandals Royal Caribbean is an amazing resort. This was our fourth visit. This time we booked through Tripcentral and got the best resort/air price combination yet. We will definitely book everything through them from now on. Better pricing than direct online booking by far. The resort was great, high quality food, and excellent service. We stayed in the penthouse suite with butler service and now have a new definition of luxury.

Sunset at the Palms: Nice Piece of Paradise

This resort has everything you need. Great rooms, service and attention to details. The staff is always friendly and professional. Problems are resolved quickly. The food and bar service was excellent. I will definitely recommend this resort to family and friends. Terry

Sandals Jamaica Dunn's River: Jewel Dunn River Ocho Rios

Beautiful clean resort , excellent service , nice variety of food and everything was tasty ! Lots to do on site and close to many Jamaican sightseeing destinations .Lots of room and plenty of beachchairs to accommodate everyone .

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Welcome home Mon

I'm very reluctant to give a positive review of Jewel Runaway Bay...because it means more folk will go and we might have difficulty getting bookings! Jewel is just that, a jewel of a resort. Granted, it is not big at around 300 rooms, but that is part of its charm. The rooms are well appointed and immaculately kept, the restaurants offer enough choices that even the pickiest eater should be happy (suggestion for ordering in the Italian restaurant-- pasta? ask for a 'half' serving or order a serv [... read more]ing between two people!! HUGE portions) the grounds are lush, beach pristine the water is a beautiful turquoise blue with an amazing coral reef just beyond the roped off swimming area. The 'designation' is a family resort, and it is that -- not only are there activities for all age groups but you are also treated like family. The staff actually recognize you and, if you make a return trip, remember you. Case in point -- we were at Jewel last September, and have just returned from a January visit, on our first morning heading for breakfast Kerry Ann the hostess for the buffet, stopped dead in her tracks and said 'you're back!' and came over to give us a hug ...she wasn't the only person to recognize us, and when they did, the greeting was usually 'welcome home' -- not something you get at a mega resort like Riu, Bahia or similar. If you are looking for lots of night life and local clubs, this may not be the resort for you but if you prefer good evening entertainment and a variety of daytime activities to choose from I think you'll find what you are looking for here.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Elegant Resort....some areas lacking.

We stayed at the Grand from January 13 to 23, 2016 . Resort was beautiful but all areas relating to meals and food was sadly lacking. Gluten free options were pitiful and any mention of food allergies were not well received. Reservations for the restaurants were also badly managed. We were told there were no reservations left yet restaurants were half empty? Service was slow as they seemed short staffed. We did enjoy all other aspects of the resort.

Dreams Rose Hall: Only 3 Star without waterpark

Overall okay. Nothing special if it didn't have the Sugar Mills waterpark. Ridiculous that an "all inclusive" resort charges for room service and disallows take-out from the buffet. Cabanas throughout pool and waterpark area are "reserved" but never used. More liberal anti-smoking regulations would be nice. Walls and ceilings are paper thin (could hear low volume TV and conversations from all surrounding rooms). The "Hilton" reputation has fallen considerably in my opinion.

Rooms On The Beach: Good for the price.

Rooms were clean and all public areas were maintained. Beach chairs needed updating but were always available. Had slight problem with air conditioner squeaking but was fixed within an hour of reporting to desk. Continental breakfast could have been a bit more varied. Watermelon and banana seemed to be fruit of choice by hotel. Overall decent place and would stay again.
