Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Loved it

Grounds were very nice, hotel nice as well. Staff were great. One staff in particular (Ainsley on the entertainment team) went over and above the call of duty. Made it his goal to make sure you had a great time. Very respectful, polite and fun. Postive attitude everyday. Overall great experience, highly recommend it

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Definitely Luxuary

The hotel was first class, although the wing we were in had just been opened three week prior to our visit, everything was in place. The grounds were kept immaculate by a dedicated group of employees The pool was fantastic and well kept and cleaned although it was a little cold for my liking. Our butler was amazing, his name was Cawayne, he made the holiday for us

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: lower then other iberostar grand

compare to grand paradisus at mayan riviera where stayed three times before there is a big difference. not as clean not as friendly and the facilities are better at paradisus. beside we expected a better room as returning guest I don't think we are going back to rose hall.for us the cleanliness of the utencils plates and glasses in the buffet restorant was a big negative!

Riu Ocho Rios: Disappointed

Dec 22.2015-Dec29.2015....requested a wheelchair room with a joining room and didn't get it.....put on 2nd floor the first night but we couldn't manage with the accessible room...next day we moved my daughter into the accessible room with no help from the staff...thanks!!!!...to find out that she couldn't get her wheelchair into the bathroom to use the toliet ..she would have to text me in my room when she needed help. Not so relaxing! The nice thing was that there was accessible bathrooms throu [... read more]gh out the resort which was nice but the staff where always using them.that's dissusting !! And when they would finnilycome out they would just look at us like how dare us want to use the washroom.I wrote to the hotel several times tell them how important it was to have a wheelchair room with a joining room cause my 23 year old daughter need daily care and cant do things on her own but wanted her own space while traveling with her parents. ..come on pepole this was all about her safety .it wasn't like I was reqessing an ocean front room and didn't get it....

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: This was an amazing resort.

The most important for us was the staff from the entertainers to the room services, everybody was very pleasant and very helpful. The grounds were immaculate. The food was fantastic and even the weather was cooperative. This is true from the time we arrived until the day we left.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Best vacation ever!

My first thought upon seeing the grounds, my room, the beach and the restaurants was that even the "professional photos" didn't do the Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall justice. It was even more beautiful in person than in the photos, and to me that is very refreshing, not to mention amazing. I felt pampered for my entire stay, the staff was incredible and very eager to make your vacation perfect. The food, whether it be the buffets or the restaurants, exceeded my expectations, every meal was incredible and the variety was outstanding, as was the staff at each restaurant. The entertainment and activities were enjoyable and the Star Cast who provided it had a tremendous amount of energy and were very talented individuals who never failed in their attempts to amuse and make the vacation unforgettable. Special thanks to Thunder and Bubbles who provided so much great entertainment. The waitresses around the pool and beach were awesome and never let your glass get empty! Special thanks to Jodian who took great care of me in this respect, it was a pleasure to see her everyday and have a quick chat. The Iberostar Grand made you feel like "part of the family". I hope to return again sometime.

Sandals Montego Bay: Not up to other Sandals standards

This was not our 1st experience with Sandals resorts. The resort was well maintained but disappointed with the amount of floral plants. The room was nice in that we could walk out to the beach from our patio. We had to call the very first night for several reasons the safe being the 1st and not being able the get the closet door open because of the area carpet on the floor laid to close to closet. We experienced a few problems with room, the safe didn't work after being asked several times. They [... read more] finally fixed second last day of our stay. We had an unwanted guest in our bedside table the 1st night. We asked several times for the robes that our room was to have but never received. So considering the value paid the the conceige customer service they left us disapppointed. The pools we're way the small and not very inviting. Also too close to the airport with planes flying over head all day long. Yes 10 - 15 minutes to airport but that's the time it take to drive around it. The food was nothing to write home about considering it was Christmas a festive time to celebrate. The Reggae Cruise was fabulous the crew we're so great they got everyone one up dancing and having a blast even in the 8 foot or higher waves. The highlights were Dunn river falls climb, the bobsledding, the snorkel , margaritaville and the Reggae Catamaran cruise. We did have a excursion to the Appleton estates was cancelled and we replaced it with dolphin swim and a mix up of listing made it that we didn't go there either...BUMMER....It was to be a great 35 Anniversary trip for us but it was a disappointing. Not good Mon.....Yes problem Mon.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Excellent time

We visited this resort for our anniversary and had an excellent time. Loved the room with oceanview. Lots of food choices and enjoyed the seafood. Excellent friendly service. Would definitely return and recommend.

Couples Tower Isle: Jamaican Hospitality

We definitely recommend Couples Tower Isle in Ocho Rios . The staff is professional, fun and friendly. The hotel, rooms and grounds are very well maintained and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the included activities such as the catamaran, glass bottom boat and hobie cat rides as well as the use of the kayaks. The music and other entertainment offered are excellent . The Patio buffet and a la carte restaurants are very good. We particularly liked "The Verandah" where the food was top notch and serv [... read more]ice well-paced. The beach is small and, therefore, not given to long walks but we knew this before going, There was never an issue getting a beach chair or fresh towels which were abundant. We had several theme nights and the staff was amazingly proficient at setting up and providing excellent service. All in all, this resort is very good value.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great resort!

This resort is alot better than I thought. The beach is nice and calm. There's a Jerk Hut where you can get jerk chicken. Its really good! The rooms and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The Japanese restaurant is the best restaurant. Great show there! The resort is a nice size and there's lots to do (mini put, ping pong, pool, sailing). I would recommend this resort to other people!

Riu Ocho Rios: Great Family Resort!

Pretty beach with many large palm trees for shade and you get a beautiful Ocean breeze. The water is blue, calm and warm. The resort could use more loungers on the beach and by the pool, it can be difficult to find one. The food was very good, we ate mostly at the buffet. The rooms were clean but a little dated. The staff was fantastic! Helpful and polite. We loved the music bands at night and the beach party. My 20 and 24 year old children had a great stay and so did me and my husband!

Riu Negril: Awesome resort

We loved the resort. Food was great. Everything was very clean. Staff were so friendly. I would definitely go back there. The beaches were awesome too. You could swim in the water. We spent more time at the beach then in the pool.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: great friendly resort

Awesome resort! Staff were the best...always making sure we were OK. Grounds were very nice but resort is getting tired in some areas such as the pools and the entertainment stage can use an update. The ocean was incredibly beautiful!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Every service close and easily accessible!

Everything is easily accessible, restaurants, buffet, bars. Great New Year Dinner and Gala. They should hand out American Dollars at the Currency Exchange Desk. Using the ATM is too costy. Good variety of tasty food.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fantastic resort!

We lived staying at the Bahia Princepe resort in Jamaica. Everyone there was so friendly and fun to be around. They made the best drinks and we had an awesome butler! Will go back again For sure!!!!! Amazing holiday!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

We went with low expectations and they delivered! Definitely get the rooms with ocean view, it's always nice to tip $1 to your server/bartender (they remember), the beach is a bit too small for Bahia, nude beach was a bonus, clean rooms, clean beach, clean pool. You'll always get that 1 rude employee or that 1 bad experience. Overall for the cost in Jamaica, its worth it ;)

Hedonism II: Rejuvenating resort

The welcoming at this hotel is very personal. They take you to a lounge area in the lobby and give you the details you need. Returning guest get a warm welcome, with a meet and greet cocktail party. This hotel in the last few years has improved a lot. they have more renovations coming soon. The staff and guest are so friendly. The grounds are well kept, (which includes the washrooms on the beach) great service at dining room, on beach, and any excursions you book. We decide to go snorkelling one [... read more] morning and when we arrived we were the only couple that morning. We ask if they were still going to go and with a smile on their face say, Ya man. Great service. They have a good variety of food, either in the dining room or on the beach. Entertainment at night starts around 8pm until 10:30, then you have options of going to the piano bar or the disco. This hotel has a relaxing atmosphere, were couples can find a place to be intimidate, during the day or night, or you can join in on the fun at the pool were the staff will keep you busy playing games.

Fun Holiday Beach Resort: Great resort for what you pay

The rooms are clean staff is friendly I would recommend it and I would go back you are close to all the night life if you want to go out at night the only issue we had was that 10-10 for the bar they should stay open till at least 12 other than that great place for the price.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Home away from Home

Very spacious rooms and good ac. Beds and linens were top notch. Beautiful marble bathrooms and floors. All the staff were friendly and always ready to help with anything. Location, beach and sunsets were 5 star. Our room needed a new door on to the balcony and a working safe. Fridges were an extra charge but they didn't have any available. Also, the king size bed we were promised turned out to be a double and a single. The onsite restaurant was comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced.
