Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful resort, very level and spacious.

The grounds were beautiful, nice and clean; public areas very spacey and clean; our rooms were nice; the dining was to my liking and since I wasn't a beach or swimming person, I enjoyed just relaxing by the pool.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great March break trip

Have to give the Costa Dorada top marks. It is close to the airport, nice beach and pool, good food and a huge assortment of activities. The resort is very well groomed. We found the staff to be very friendly. The entertainment crew was lively and did their best to involve the guests. The Costa Dorada is a nicely sized resort. We never felt crowded despite the fact that we were there during the March break. Chairs were always available on the beach or by the pool. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: LOVED IT!

The rooms had been recently renovated and were beautiful. There was a wonderful terrace at the end of the floor of our building where we could look at the beach and the stars at night. Food was great. The size of the resort was perfect - not too big - so if our children went out on there own to pool or the beach, it was easy to find them. By far this was the nicest place we have stayed at in Cuba.

Great resort. Hotel is beautiful. Pool/beach are lovely. Good food, great staff, nice location. We took our 12 & 15 yr old daughters, and felt very safe and cared for. The only drawbacks - double beds instead of queens, and it would have been nice to have the pool open in the evenings.

Hotel Mojito: Exceeded expectations

Clean, friendly and lots of activities. Good food! Will go back next year. The outings were fun and the staff were helpful, the beach was beautiful. The evening shows were lots of fun and our room was really nuce

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Lovely Resort

It was the first time that we had been to this resort, The size was small enough that it was easily accessible for all the accommodations and restaurants. Arriving around midnight we were pleased with the fast check-in and the porter/bellboy who took our luggage to our rooms, explaining everything that we needed to know re: lighting, air conditioning, and showing the layout of the room was most helpful. Be prepared that in some of the washrooms around the resort, no toilet seats, and sometimes no toilet paper.....Be prepared.

Hotel Mojito: Amazing vacation

The people at this resort are so friendly. The shows were a lot of fun. The food was great. I know you don't hear that often in Cuba but the food was really good. The a la carte restaurants were great. We went to the Gormet and Italian. The drinks were fantastic. We brought our kids and they loved it. The pools are really nice and there is pool side service for drinks. The beach is unbelievable. Absolutely gorgeous. I think what sets this hotel above any others is their outstanding service

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: EXCELLENT

Very nice vacation, all was very clean and comfortable. I would, and did recommed this resort to my friends. The beach is great, food was as good as I expected from an all inclusive resort, pool area was very nice and lots of excitement. The nightly shows are well worth watching too.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Worth every $

Everything was great at the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort. The Resort was clean with friendly staff. Food was amazing with lots of choices. We don't have any complaints. Hope to go back again some day.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Nice Beaches but the Hotel has Issues

Just returned after a week at this hotel. 2 adults and 2 children. We usually go on all inclusive vacations 2-3 times per year. We have stayed at some 3 stars in the past and I've never felt the need to write a negative review. We are not hard to please and don't complain. This hotel was a new experience for us. Towels were extremely hard to come by for the pool/beach area. It took us 3 days to change our towels. This could have been timing and just not being there when there were clean towels  [... read more]but we were warned by another person as soon as we got there about it. In our room, we noticed that our towels were not actually being changed. We are all about conserving energy/water but our shower had no seal at the bottom and had water flowing out of the shower onto the tile. We had no option but to use the towels to mop up the water so our kids didn't slip and fall. These towels were soaked and on the floor in a pile. They were just hung up to dry. There was no washcloths so I used towels to wash off makeup before bed and these towels stayed in our room. One morning our youngest had a bit of an accident on the bed sheet, it was poop(sorry to be gross) we took this fitted sheet right off the bed so that the bedding would be changed. That night we went to get into bed and saw that they had made the bed with this same dirty sheet but just turned it over. I called front desk and asked for another sheet and was told that someone from housekeeping would bring one. Half an hour later, there was still no sheet so I called again and was told the same thing. No one came with a sheet. It was late at this point and with little kids we had to get them to bed. In case anyone was wondering, yes, we were tipping every day. We also had 2 pairs of mens swim shorts stolen from the balcony. Nothing else was missing. The staff at the hotel were very nice. The beaches are beautiful but a bit of a walk. Stayed March 2015

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Unforgettable experience

From the lobby, to the pool, restaurants, and ocean, this resort is the epitome of the "Jamaican Experience". Friendly people, delicious food, clean facilities, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding entertainment team. It is the star friends and staff that really gives this resort it's character. You can't go a day without a smile, which is a challenge I loved failing at :)

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Best vacation ever!

We went together with another couple to this fantastic resort for a week. Between us all, we have been to multiple Caribbean destinations, and between all four of us, we all agree that this resort has far exceeded our expectations. It had everything we hoped for and more. So friendly at attentive and worked so hard. The bar staff were extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and the drinks were creative and amazing! Everywhere we went was clean and things were maintained or in the process of being upgraded. The food was the best we have experienced at any resort. We never tired of the buffet but the a la cartes were an extra bonus and so good! The beach was ok but as per some reviews, it did have some seaweed. However the pool was overlooking the beach and we mostly hung out there. There is pretty good snorkeling right off the beach though so that was a nice surprise. We did an excursion to go snorkeling at the marine park and margaritaville. The next day we went to the luminous lagoon. A must see for sure! The joint excursion was excellent value and again great staff on the Dressel divers crew. All in all we had a fantastic week and while we like to explore new places, this is one we would definitely return to. I do not understand the negative reviews, this place is amazing!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: This was a beautiful resort and very clean

Rooms were very neat and clean, staff was very helpful and kind. Restaurants were clean and and waitors and waitress were very friendly and constantly wanting to help in anyway. The grounds were very neat and clean, and if not they were always trying to make it look better. The pool was awesome, it was so big and had the lounge chairs in both pools with swin up bars. The only real probelm we had was the ice machine did not work, we told them but it never did get fixed. However, we were able to g [... read more]o into one of the other buildings to get ice so that was okay.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Wonderful trip

Great resort! Had a fabulous time! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh made stations in the buffet. Whole resort was very clean and well maintained. Ensure to bring bug spray for the sand fleas. This could have been helped a little if the staff had raked the seaweed up in the beach every morning. Otherwise we had nothing negative to say about this resort.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Beautiful

What a lovely resort. 5 star all the way....the decor, the pool, the food. The staff were the friendliest and best trained I have come across. The beach was magnificent and the water warm. Our room was beautiful,we fell asleep each night to the sound of the waves.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: FANTASTIC RESORT

This is our second time at this resort and third time to Cuba, we made the mistake of trying somewhere else and were so disappointed. We came back to Iberostar Playa Alameda and so glad we did, the staff, the beach, the resort is fantastic, food is better than anywhere else I've eaten in Cuba, rooms are spacious and clean, but what keeps you coming back is the people/staff. Definitely going to be back again!

Hotel Mojito: Friendly Staff & Unsophisticated

Great beach, lotsa activities available, food nicely done. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Any problems were resolved easily and promptly. Cute little market within walking distance. Great for families and those looking for some down time.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Always a perfect vacation!

We have just returned from our amazing vacation, celebrating with our daughters. It could not have been more perfect. This was our 3rd visit at this beautiful property, and it never disappoints! We had requested an upgrade to ocean front, and when we arrived, we were thrilled to enter our rooms, right on the beach, quiet, large, super comfy beds, our butler Duran was so helpful, always smiling, and always available to take care of us. We came back one night, and they had decorated our rooms, bathtub filled with bubbles, champagne chilling, rose petals everywhere, towel sculptures and balloons, in celebration of our daughters birthdays, and our anniversary. It was gorgeous! We return to the Grand for the fact that it truly is grand! This property is spotless, the pool is beautiful, the washrooms immaculate, the grounds always being tended to, the beach so clean, and wonderful to walk, totally decadent in every way. And the best part, ADULTS ONLY! We love our girls, but we travel for this pampering, and relaxation, and they serve it up on a silver platter! The staff........truly sensational, always smiling, so helpful, and boundless energy! From the Star Friends, to the restaurants, to the front lobby, the pool, the grounds, the bars, they go above and beyond to make sure that you are always happy and taken care of. The food was exceptional, always beautifully presented, wonderful varieties at every meal, and the staff always professional, making you feel very special at all times. We have travelled over 16 times to many places in the Caribbean, Jamaica is our favourite, the people are so welcoming and engaging. We return to the Grand as it truly is outstanding, and is the total package, and we know that it will be a truly amazing vacation, and we have never been disappointed!! Worth every penny! Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing Resort

My family went here in December and my daughter and I returned for a girls only trip in March of this year. For the first time away for us we were very comfortable and the staff is amazing. They look after every wish we had. Great Service.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Rooms need improvement

When we arrived, our room had NO toilet seat. There was no hot water. We found out that previous occupants had already complained about it to no effect. They left their note in the Resort magazine. We showed it to the staff. Repeated complaints finally produced the toilet seat and luke warm water.
