I personally like the resort very much , Great hotels excellent customer service , very clean rooms I like the food I will recommend all my friend to come and see the resorts the only think we don’t like was the service I’m the airport

Tropical Deluxe Princess: Amazing resort and beach!

The hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are very clean, the grounds are kept nice, staff is very freindly. Food is amazing and it's a different theme each night. Great kids club and the entertainment staff are a lot of fun.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Fantastic resort.

Perfect for families and for couples. Royalton did a excellent job of making a family resort without parents feeling like their trapped in kiddy land. Staff was very helpful and quick! Resort was clean, Food was really good, the room was gorgeous ! Entertainment was always going day & night and they switched it up so it wasn’t the same thing day in day out. Ocean was perfect when we went. My family loves The royalton resorts and we will keep going.

Whala Bavaro: Amazing Staff, but Resort could use some work

The staff at this resort are absolutely amazing. We also had a good room, but that depends on what building you are in. The food was often cold and had two food stations, but both had the same selections. There was one other station where you could get pasta etc. Lots of fruit and desserts to chose from. Not a lot of entertainment there and can walk into small village but not much there. At the time of our stay, road was flooded most of the week due to heavy rains.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Disappointed

This was our first time in Punta Cana, we travel 3 times a year, I been in Cuba over 15 times, Mexico usually 3 times a year ,South America, Florida , this was our first time in Punta Cana and after 1 day We couldn’t wait to come home. First, It got really annoying everyone trying to sell you excursions or the membership for the hotel H10, they were pretty rude when we say No. The pitch they do it in the welcome breakfast I knew this after reading some reviews so we didn’t show up, but the [... read more] person in charge to take us got really upset to me over the phone to the point I hang up the phone on him, he keep insisting I’m picking you up at 9 , be downstairs and I will say no we’re not coming and he keep going until I hang up. Food at the buffet was ok, We try the Mexican and Italian, it was so bad, we end up at the buffet, bread was old And hard, food overcook, and we have to wait 20 min for someone to come and take our order. The first room block 9 3rd floor, it was so dirty and disgusting!! the closet was urinated, not kidding, the pull up couch where my daughter supposed sleep has blood stain, so after 2 hours wait they changed us to a nice room block 5 3rd floor, I think that’s was the only good thing we had. The beach at this hotel have huge sands bags to stop the waves, I didn’t mind it, but that area smells like sewer, and the same smell was close to the buffet, so we walk 5 minutes to our left much nicer. But the thing that throws us off the most was the treatment of the hotel, it felt that everyone it’s there to sell and they don’t want to serve anyone.Im glad we’re back home and we’re not planing to go back ever again to Punta Cana, beaches are better and Cayo Santa Maria, people 100% more friendly warm and welcoming.

Ocean El Faro: Nice Resort

The food selection at the individual theme restaurants was quite good, especially the japanese restaurant. The bar in the main lobby was staffed with very friendly bartenders and was a pleasant location to be in. The whole area was well maintained and there was plenty of things to do from bowling, lazy river, beach and organized activities. I read earlier about lack of security personnel but i saw them everywhere including the beach. Very nice resort

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Terrible resort

I would not recommend this resort we had a lot of problems a lot of us got sick one of us ended up in the hospital. Our rooms were never cleaned when we asked for an iron and board and a blow dryer we never got I had a wedding to attend to the service was terrible at this resort I will never go back to the Dominican again they need to do something about this resort It just opened we had to put towels on our door so the water wouldn’t pour in no one did nothing about it then they had the gall t [... read more]o ask us to pay a bill for a phone to call the hospital you might wanna look into this we’re not happy none of usI am very sick from this trip

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Amazing family resort !

We’re a family with a 5 year old daughter and she absolutely loved it. From the check in and walking around the whole resort and being able to jump into any of the pools. The stuffs and the vibeteam were very friendly and she loved the daily activities at the pool and also nightly shows. Her favourite has been the Michael Jackson show. She cried when we had to check and We will definitely be back one day! The food was great, she’s a picky eater but there was so much variety , we didn’t hav [... read more]e to worry. I have no negative. It rain early afternoon but she even loved that we swam in the rain ! We went to the beach as well, very beautiful but had to hold on to her because of the waves. Many pools and space ! Only down side was my hubby wish we were able to walk into the local town because he loves to culturally sightsee but it’s a distant to drive or walk into town.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Not what I expected

Overall hotel Is very nice but the food was horrible. We dread eating the food there and ended up upgrading to the royalton and the food there was just as same except under the sea and the zen was really good. Everything else was not good food was dry or over cooked looked like they used some of the meats from The night before. The maids who came to clean our rooms Did a good job cleaning but after the second day we didn’t recieve hand towels or face towels we had to call everyday to get them. Check in we waited an hour to finally finish. Maybe we came at a bad time But I wouldn’t recommend going to the resort. We will be spending our money and time else where

Excellence El Carmen: Absolutely stunning resort

This was really one of the best resorts i have been over the years of travel to different places in the Caribbean. The restaurant choice was the first time that had such a different selection, that i did not have the time to visit one of them. Rooms were EXCELLENT, so were the staff etc. We had an amazing time and i will definitely not hesitate to now always pick the Excellence resorts.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Great resort especially for kids

I've been to a lot of hotels and this resort was great...lots to do for the kids...good food, good entertainment, clean, friendly. What I want to talk about is the room....I know you don't spend a lot of time in the room but I must say that my room was the nicest I've ever been in. It had a king size bed, a separated living room with sofa and chairs...I was a single person so in other rooms, two queen beds were there in addition to the living room. Wifi was free in the rooms and on the beach and near the pool....download the bahia principe app. I was at the beach and requested 4 hard pillows in my room from the app and when I returned to the room, they were there. The building I was in had it's own concierge so you could call him or use the app for anything...and there was room service all night long for snacks. And no waiting in endless lines to book a la cartes...just use the app, or they had interactive screens at the lobby and you could just book your a la cartes at your leisure. I would definitely go back to a bahia principe especially at this complex that had 6 all together...and there were golf cart shuttles always available to take you to the other resorts to their a la cartes, or simply to the beach and the village. Great spot...would go back again.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Amazing Resort!

Huge hotel!! Nice landscape,pool and beach!! Good service. Our maid did an amazing job cleaning our room during our stay. One thing we didn’t like is the food at the buffet, there’s not much selection of food and most of the food didn’t taste good. I like the fish ceviche though! Overall we had an amazing stay at Melia caribe beach resort.

Blau Natura Park Resort: Resort in need of a huge renovation

The gardens are beautifully landscaped. The rooms need upgrading... specially the doors...in the age of card keys and chips there they still have the old key locks and they offered to change our room since it had only one key and they had no new locks to install at the door. They should keep an eye with bugs at the buffet. Entertainment was Ok applause for Rambo the entertainer. Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Cleaniness was amazing but service was awful

As we arrived from our airport transfer it was around 11/11:30 am we did not get our room until 4 pm, and the hassle for rooms being close together was even a bigger problem, my daughter in law got a complimentary upgrade to the level which was adult only but she wanted to stay close to the family therefore my husband had to dish out an extra $180 US to downgrade, because their policy was they were not allowed to just move her to another room. Another check in situation was that my second son an [... read more]d his girlfriend were also not together with the family and we again had to pay another $180 US to have their room changed, also with our rooms being PREMIUM BEACH SIDE ROOMS. So be careful when calling for room service because with the person on the other line taking the order they will negotiate with you at first they will tell you $30 US then go down to $20 US then they will call the other room associated with you and tell them special price only $10 US, the room service food wasn't the greatest and I actually regret becoming a Melia Club member I got no perks whatsoever! The family consists of were my kids my husband and my in laws my daughter was a few months shy from her 18th birthday and she was not allowed to eat dinner at any of the adults only a la carts which was dumb cause they were still calling her a baby which was very annoying she is 17 for god sake. The only time we had a smooth day was when we were off the resort eating locally other than that there wasn't a moment where we were being bothered by staff or there was something wrong at the resort. I would prefer to stay elsewhere Melia Caribe is too big and their staff need to be a bit more flexible as we are paying customers.

Grand Palladium Palace: overall okay resort but nothing outstanding

The resort overall is pretty nice. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. Toiletries that are provided are of good quality. When we arrived to the room, a few lights were not working but quick service provided to get that fixed right away. Shower facility i would imagine would be difficult for anyone that is really short or has a hard time lifting legs such as someone in a wheelchair. One thing to keep in mind is if you are traveling with someone that is not a significant other, it can get aw [... read more]kward due to the fact that the wall separating from the bathroom and the actual room is frosted glass and if you are in the shower and someone else wants to use the washroom, there is no curtain. The wall is half length to the tub and 100% clear. Not enough closet space/drawers provided. The drawers also do not close properly. Mini fridge restocked daily so all good there. They gave us a bottle of liquor and fruit on arrival so for special occasions they may do this sort of thing for you. No elevators in the resort but the buildings are only 3 floors high so not a huge deal. Regarding food we usually stuck to the buffet for most meals. Pretty repetitive but it was pretty okay. Nothing too over the top but you get enough variety. Beef i find is tough no matter which restaurant you go to. The pizza they cooked i find is never cooked through, dough was soft and the whole thing was always falling apart. Drinks were pretty good and some bars had more variety options than others. Entertainment animation team were good. Indiana and Chocolate were the main two animation girls that really made a difference and kept things fun. Others did not get as much involved with people. Reception was super friendly they knew who i was right away when i checked in before they saw any documents from me which was shocking. There were a few staff in the restaurants in the El Dorado a la carte that did not speak English and did not communicate with us exactly how the process works. In the Palace section i find they did a pretty good job with fumigation of mosquito's but as soon as i walked over to Bavaro section i was eaten alive. Entertainment at night was okay, the typical shows that you would normally see such as Michael Jackson show, tropical show, 80's theme singing show etc. The beach at the moment was good. On our first few days super wavy water but through the week became much calmer. On the Palace section a decent amount of area to walk on the beach, if you go towards TRS to the right it is much narrower. Going to the left to Punta Cana or Bavaro section it is pretty good too for walking and distance. Tides were pretty high though regardless and chairs had to be pulled back. Too many palapas and too much shade.

Ocean El Faro: Nice resort

Overall the resort was very nice. Clean and very nice features. We were there the week of September 20th to 27th, which I know if the off season but the resort was almost empty. Restaurants had funny hours and limited menus. Overall a great experience and we would recommend it for sure.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Now Onyx

Now Onyx was by far the BEST resort we've ever visited. The rooms, grounds, buffets and restaurants are unmatched. We definitely recommend this resort to all looking to stay in Punta Cana. Planning to return soon.

Riu Republica: Birthday trip

I thought the hotel was very nice they made me feel very special on my birthday they only thing I didn’t like was for such a big resort they didn’t have much option food wise everything else was great thank you again an hope to visit this hotel again

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Amazing honeymoon!

Amazing honeymoon vacation with my husband! Juon was an amazing butler as we stayed in The Level he helped with everything we needed - highly recommended to upgrade! All service was amazing and everyone was very kind. Clean modern resort and the food was excellent as we are both vegan we found lots of options both a la carte and buffet style. The resort has many wellness activities like aerial yoga and beach meditation and Zumba - at night we always had an event to see at the main lobbies, we enjoyed the shows and the silent disco!
