Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Value

We returned January 2 2015 from the best resort we had ever been too. Amazing value for the money. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Service in all areas of the resort was excellent and the staff were very enthusiastic. We are definitely returning next year!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: 4th time going to the Grand Bahia!

This was my 4th time being to the Grand Bahia in Jamaica and this time I booked 7 family members with me, who all enjoyed their stay. I always recommend this place to my friends and family and have 3 more people who I've recommended coming at the end of January! If you have time, you won't regret making a  [... read more]Spa Reservation for a Deep Tissue massage (get the 50 mins, it's worth it). The spa is super clean and it smells wonderful. You are close to so many fun excursions such as: Dunn's River Falls, Green Grotto Caves & Blue Hole. Runaway Bay is also a super safe area in Jamaica. You won't regret your choice if you choose the Grand Bahia :)

Secrets St James: Excellent Resort

We loved this resort, it had everything you could possibly want in a vacation. Our room was great, large with a jacuzzi both in the room and another one on the balcony, the bed was very comfortable, the food was great, there were plenty of chairs on the beach. The grounds were very well maintained with sprinkler systems and daily gardening. It was great that you didn't have to make reservations for the restaurants (except the Japenese) which meant you didn't have to stand in reservation lines t [... read more]o be told they were all booked, you just showed up at the retaurant and sometimes waited but you were given a beeper and could go off and have drinks while waiting. The staff at the resort were very friendly and accommodating. We had the preferred club so enjoyed going there for breakfast and snacks throughout the day. The jerk chicken cart was a daily highlight. We enjoyed the padel boarding and kayaking which was included. The only thing I thought was missing was a place to play cards at night, most places were either too dark or there were bars without table areas for that sort of think. I would love to see at least one elyptical in the gym as well. This was our 4th time to Jamaica and our first time at this resort but we are going back to St. James on our next trip.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Great Resort

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and spacious and were close of all the amenities. Staff were very friendly. WiFi was available throughout the hotel and beach areas. The food was very good and we enjoyed our dinners at the a la carte restaurants. However, if you are looking for a evening party experience, you may be disappointed because there are limited options.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Beautiful resort

The resort is on smaller which is nice because it is much more personalized. The grounds are well kept and Uriah one of the groundskeepers was very helpful too. The staff are great, George the concierge was excellent always willing to go the extra mile. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Beautiful resort, amazing staff,

Loved the friendly, accommodating staff. Great food, beautiful architecture. What more could you want. I cannot wait until the next time I return. We were there for a four day stay and it was perfect. Good gym facilitites too.

Riu Ocho Rios: Great resort

This is a beautiful hotel with nice rooms, service and entertainment. Everything is located right near the beach, so you can eat and look through palms at the sea. Amazing view! Our family had the best time ever at this resort: plenty activities from beach volleyball, soccer, aerobics to other fun activities at the pool and at night. There is 1.5-2 hrs drive from the airport. We just loved this resort!

Sandals Caribbean Cay: Amazing place with wonderful people

Beautiful maintained, great staff, good food, lovely pools, beautiful beach. The staff really make you feel like family. Would recommend staying at the club level and ask for a ground floor room in the Kensington building.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Good Resort

Resort was good and the staff good. I would not rate this resort as excellent due to the following: Some staff are in a bad mood especially the bar tender... I do not and did not drink much but thought when I approached the bar, the bar tender at was rather rude. I think this may be because you have to show the tip first. The constant up-sell of the resort package by the resort staff where they want $29K from you for their resort is a real BS. they need to take this away as it is bothering.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Amazing staff and grounds...

Everything about this resort is a true paradise. .. from the staff very helpful, to the grounds and entertainment and the food choices are second to none. I would recommend this as a true couples getaway. Thanks Jewel for everything P and T

Jewel Paradise Cove: Great Trip to Jewel Paradise Cove

Really enjoyed this hotel, everything is close to get to; lots of sun loungers where ever you chose to stay. We enjoyed the hammocks that are located all over the property. The food is great; they have 3 restaraunts and the Platinum was our favorite. We enjoyed the beach grill for lunch; however there are 3 different places for lunch so there is good variety. Never waited long for a drink at the bar; plus there is service on the beach and at the pools. Enjoyed the included excursions, diving and [... read more] snorkeling.

Hedonism II: Great trip ~ Super Friendly People

Was a great trip ~ services were fine. Room was nice, old style though, bathroom requires renovation. Beach was nice and relaxing, no waves, calm waters. Super fun theme nights ~ great staff. Renovated rooms on the au natural side and a few on the prude side, which have hot tubs.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Amazing Resort

We just got back from spending an amazing week over Christmas at the adults only section of the resort. The staff were incredible and the weather and food was perfect. They just need to work out a few kinks; not all of the alcohol on the menu was behind the bar. We also reported water leaks in the bathroom from the room above and from the shower going into the toilet area to management twice and they never came to fix either of these issues. The beach was not constructed yet at the adults only side but they were working on it and should have it done soon!

Beaches Negril Resort and Spa: Absolutely incredible

This was our first family trip and it was truly a dream vacation. Shelley at Tripcentral made sure every detail was covered. The staff at the Beaches Negril resort made our trip perfect in every way. We have a special needs child and I didn't have to worry about anything for him. It was the perfect ending to a very long year. Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall: Great but could be better with a little effort

Overall the Zilara is great experience especially if you are looking to relax. The rooms are gorgeous and the service is excellant. The staff there are the best I've ever encountered. The free golf is a great treat. The 3 resturants that are for the Zilara only are very good but 3 isn't really enough. The other resturants are shared with the family focused Ziva and in those resturants the food is really suited to children and is quite disappointing. Oddly the drinks on the family side are better [... read more] and the Zilara bartenders drinks are subpar. The entertainment is also geared to families. The pools on the Zilara side are great and the beach is good for sitting but not swimming. The Zilara ocean is filled with sharp rocks so it is better to walk to the Ziva side to swim. In summary I would say the Hyatt is really focused on the Ziva family side and the Zilara adult side needs some attention so that it meets the standards expected by those who stay at adult only resorts. That being said you will have a relaxing, quiet but lovely time.

We chose ths resort as we hadn't been on a sun vacation in 7 years and wanted this to be a memorable experience. We wanted a 5 star vacation and we got it. Everything from the food to the beautiful room, the grounds, the pools and the staff far exceeded our expectations. Our room overlooked the pools; however we still managed to get a beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed ordering our breakfast the night before and hanging the menu on our hotel room door for pick-up. The room service food was delicious and we ordered room service a few nights as we were too tired to go to the buffet. We never waited longer than 40 minutes. All of the food at the buffet was delicious and there was always alot to choose from. The Italian a la carte restaurant served delicious food and we had a nice quiet meal there with excellent service. We spent our days either at the pool or on the beach. The waitresses were always there and we never really had to get up to go get a drink. The service was impeccable. We saw 4 or 5 of the 7 shows and they were all quite entertaining. Our favourite was the 70's themed disco show. The singing and dancing were all very professional. Our maid called us by name. The butler was extremely helpful and Bubbles taught us how to play dominos in the piano lounge while we had one rainy morning....by the way, it cleared up quickly and we spent the rest of the day outside by the pool. The only thing that I even hesitate to mention was the fact that our ceiling fan on our balcony, wasn't in working order. We never called the staff to mention it as it didn't really seem all that important. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and in the evening. The week flew by much too quickly. We were treated royally the entire time and were very sad to leave. We would go back in a heartbeat. Lovely staff, beautiful resort, gorgeous rooms, almost perfect weather.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Beautiful resort, great service overall

Beautiful grounds well kept like a tropical garden. Lots of good free included stuff like snorkelling, scuba, golf, glass-bottom boat. Beaches very secluded if a bit small. Service great overall, except for front desk. Family initially split up with two rooms indifferent buildings, and maybe I am being picky, but not impressed that a birthday was recognized only by a sticker on the door and the day late.

Riu Negril: Good resort

The resort has been renovated and is very clean and beautiful. The grounds are clean, rooms are nice. The food is good, lots to choose from, they have a different theme every night so it changes a bit at buffet. The ala carts were not that great, went to two because they were hard to book and ended up at buffet. In the evening there is not much to do, there was a show which was ok and a sports bar, no disco or casino...which we thought there was, people left the resort for that but we didn't fee [... read more]l comfortable being a group of women. But overall is was nice and relaxing.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: nice layout of resort

huge pool, beach was beautiful, food was great, could have used more bars on the beach. we changed rooms upon arrival, they gave us an ocean view which was a awesome view. one complaint was we had to call for bath towels 3 out of the 7 days.
