Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Great resort

The resort was clean great food , plenty of beach chairs at the pool and on the beach the room was clean and the mini fridge was restocked daily,nice tv and the bed was comfortable, the a la cart restaurants were excellent!!

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Rather uncaring resort

My sister and I arrived on the !6th of Sept and on the 17th my sister was sent by ambulance to the hospital and was in ICU for several days. She was released on the afternoon of the 22nd so she could fly home on the 23rd. I was rather surprised that the resort was completely indifferent and showed absolutely no interest in her health or even that we had both missed out on our vacation.

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Punta cana OK good

the hotel is good, only sometimes the room is cooler due to air conditioning.i think my room (24303) air conditioning always controls the same temperature, hope you to check it and improve it. the other things in the room is excellent. thank you for your nice service.

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Great resort

The food is good, décoration et architecture super, servie A1. Lot of humidité in the room, climatisation going on and off. Beach ok. Super place but still some Work to do. I would say dont Book with sunwing even if the price lower, that had an escal to toronto last minute.

Impressive Punta Cana: Impressive great vacation

We just returned form the impressive spa Punts Cana. We can’t say enough. While it was down season and some amenities were not available the resort was fantastic. The food at the a la cares were great. The Japanese was the best, we went 2 times as well as the Italian. The view of the ocean during dinner in the Italian restaurant was priceless!!! Our favourite things about the resort was how small and quaint it was . So much vegetation all over. Really made it feel like a tropical paradise. We would definitely return 😊

Occidental Caribe: Not my type of Resort

The resort was way too big for my taste. The large pools were very clean but completely packed. The beach and ocean were beautiful however the waves stopped you from swimming. The rooms were clean but could have done with an update. The grounds were well maintained and spacious. The food was ok and you certainly wouldn’t go hungry. Not all, but the majority of employees didn’t seem happy and tried to avoid you unless you were tipping.

Occidental Caribe: Not good, not bad

Positive aspects: - very close to the airport - nice beach - decent food - good beds - nice grounds - beach towels - never had issues changing them Negative aspects - check in is very slow...we were 3-4 families arriving together and it took forever...wondering how bad is in the season - The first room they gave us it was next door to the casino....I believe they should use their common sense...and not assign rooms next door to the casino to families who travel with small children -  [... read more]quite a few rooms have AC issues. - As we went in the off season...the resort was full on the weekend with local people, who are noisy. The fact that the ocean was rough forced all of us to stay by the pool. Same for asking for a soda, water or coffee - The service at the bar - not as bad as in the restaurant...but we definitely had better

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing resort

This resort is spectacular lots to do many bars and pools and restaurants it is immaculate everyone works very hard to keep you happy our buttler GRAYDIN. Made my bday verry special by arranging special dinner with cake champagne in my room and rose pettals allover my bed .Cant say enough good things about this place theymade us feel like royalty.

Ocean Blue and Sand: AMAZING RESORT!!

Hi thought that it was a beautiful place to go I would definitely go again also the staff was an amazing services food was great as well!! The hotel was always clean and a real comfortable place to stay.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Nice Resort and night activities

Nice hotel. Nice beach location. Nice food and excellent server in restaurants and buffet area. Room service is bad. You have to call 3 to 4 times to get something in your room. Guest service is poor as well. One Staff said they are reporting your issue and emailing to manager, when we check again after few hours, another staff member on duty said they don't have anything reported. Reception, front desk staff supposed to be helpful and resolve all issue if visitor has any. There are so many a [... read more]nts all the time in wash basin in room and on the floor. The guys wearing hat and promoting to join lifestyle vacation club are worst. They all want us to go to any other resort and join the club, spent 2 to 3 hrs, gave presentation even if we dont want to take it. At hotel, first they say that go to this resort , you will get many gifts from us if u visit and bla bla. All lies. Just waste of time. Let us spend time at beautiful resort and enjoy The amenities.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Awesome experience!

Great vacation spot. The pool and beach were amazing. The food and drinks were good and the staff were friendly. Would consider going back for sure. We were recommended this spot by many others and it lived up to the expectations.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great time

hotel was nice, big resort and organized well. food was awesome, and tripcentral made sure everything was good for our trip! Missed out flight to get home but we’re well taken care of by air canada.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Good to book it!

Hola! I travelled in September to Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine which is low season and prices were good and occupancy low so I found it not busy. Some observations on some key areas are as follows: Check in/checkout Met with a cool coconut/mint/frozen ice drink. Once in the room, which was the correct high floor pool side view room, they called after about 10 min to make sure everything with it was okay - which was a very nice follow up. Checkout is at a different location than the  [... read more]check in, which is different than the check in, and the process is very smooth and efficient. Room: Was well appointed. Personal items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, dental kit i.e. toothbrush, and shower cap all provided. Tv is mainly Spanish but has a few English channels including CBS, NBC, ABC, FX, TNT, CNN. Cleanliness and upkeep by the maid was good. Pool and beach: Loungers were abundant and did not have to be reserved with a pool towel like most resorts but this was likely because it was low season. Pool guests seemed to have a great time at the bar and with the music playing. Beach has lots of space for guests. Water and waves I found was a bit stronger than in Cuba or Mexico. Food: Restaurant reservations were easy and could be done via a mobile app with the free wifi. It could also be done via a traditional way of speaking to someone or using a reservation system in the lobby. Restaurants I tried that were all very good were the Limbo (French), MEAT, Maiko (Japanese Tepanyaki). Portofini (Italian) was a bit bland for my taste. Aquamarine Buffet for dinner was good. It was moved from the regular buffet restaurant location to a different venue in part to low season. Sports Bar at Ambar, which you have access to, is a great place before or after dinner before evening entertainment. Entertainment is standard to other resorts with evening shows at a theatre venue. The additional surprise was the even better entertainment in the hotel lobby at night. All in all this was a great resort that I found was constantly being maintained around the property. I would recommend it if you are considering it!

Blau Natura Park Resort: A nature paradise

Beautiful grounds. Amazing view from our room looking over a pond. Full of tropical birds and wildlife. Food was delicious and there was great variety. Entertainment staff were very friendly and put on a great show every night. Hats off to Anna for always keeping us entertained. Hotel staff friendly and professional. Looking forward to my next stay.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Second times a charm!

We came to this resort last year around the same time because how much we loved it. Food was okay this time... there was always a couple restaurants closed every night which left us with only a couple to go to... the Asian one took forever... not as many options as last time for sure. The beach was well kept! Water was kind a rocky but that’s beyond their control. We loved how quite and peaceful it was. Staff were friendly. We changed rooms because there was a few things wrong with the room. B [... read more]ut they made up for it by sending us wine the following day apologizing. The gym is much better than last year.

Occidental Caribe: Party central ?

Great hotel , beach front. Food was lacking quality. Friday to Sunday is a pure party, locals and all. Definitely recommend but you’ll need to get a room away from poolside to be able to sleep nice and tight

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Amazing resort !

Barcelo Bavaro Beach is an adult only hotel part from the Barcelo Bavaro Palace .It has all the options and you can enjoy both hotels and their amenities .The grounds are beautifully maintained, service and staff very friendly, beautiful beach shallow water ideal for swimming.Our experience for the 5 time beautiful as usual.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Newly renovated rooms!

It's my second time staying here at Bahia Principe. It has been newly renovated with new rooms and facilities like the gym and sports bar. Service is amazing. The staff still remember me from 2 years ago!

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Home Away From Home

My 4th time here. Very good and love it..only issues we had were no a/c in the bathroom, housekeeper stalked very low quantity of water; 4 bottles, per dayfor two people. No coffee maker in room. Couldn't get more water when calling guest services 3 times. Balcony was in a corner that blocked the fresh breeze and no view. Asked for ocean view room and were denied. Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Best Resort Ever

30 hours into my trip I acquired an injury to my right ankle while dancing at the night club. NELSON was absolutely amazing at making sure I was okay on a daily basis until I left 5 days later. He even supplied the wheelchair at NO cost. The staff was genuinely caring. Koodos to the reception desk as well. Thanks VENENCIA FAUSTO! I’ve definitely done my share of travelling but will always go back as this is my favourite resort by far. Clean, tidy and very friendly atmosphere.
