JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Disappointed

I've stayed at this resort many times in the past but the experience I experienced this time was not of my liking or my fellow travelers. The food was undercooked, cold and not to standard. Most of new staff (which consist of most the workers) weren't friendly at all. I wish I remembered the names of the ones who made my stay worth being there. I was really disappointed because I thought I knew the place well and I'd be comfortable but I wasn't and I do not plan on going back. I believe this cha [... read more]nge is due to new management. It's been a year since this date when I was at this resort last btw.

Riu Montego Bay: Good Hotel, very friendly staff

Staff was great! The hotel needs a revamp (especially the rooms) the food was terrific! The beach was probably one of the worst I have ever been to: the ocean floor is full of slime and yo can't even see a foot deep. There is a huge crane that makes all kind of noises right in front of the resort

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing staff

This was my 4th visit to this hotel. I find the staff so friendly, available and very helpful. The atmosphere is very enjoyable and pleasant. The hotel is very well maintained and delightful. There is a wonderful very well maintained beach.

Riu Negril: great resort great staff

Hotel is a good location. Beach is excellent with nice mix of sun and shade. Great for walking. Resort is on Bloody Bay close to Negril. Food is good. Steakhouse was excellent. Buffet met our needs all other nights!

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Resort and Great Service

My family and I had to great trip. The resort was clean and the food was great. The staff was attentive and great to deal with. I would go back. I would consider going to the Residence that appeared to have a larger beach/pool.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great trip

It is a great resort, close to the airport but not close enough so that you hear the planes. There is 55 acres with lots to do for everyone. There are kyacks, catamarans, paddle boats all free for use. We never got out on the catamaran as it always seemed to be too windy when we wanted to go and yet the one driver took out his girlfriend when he just told us it was too windy. The junior suite is a 1000% better then the normal rooms or the ones we had anyways. I would go again.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Fantastic holiday spent here

With this hotels beautiful landscape, you honestly could not ask for a better place. The location of the hotel was only fifteen minutes away from the airport (that's including stops to other resorts) which my mother and I found quite convenient. The staff were very personal and the decorations of the hotel were stunning. There were also several options for bars when the sun went down, which was quite convenient. The staff also took several days to restock our fridge, but we didn't mind walking to a bar to grab extra drinks. Overall it was a beautiful resort that can certainly accommodate all ages!!

Riu Negril: Lovely Renovated RIU Resort

We spent a week in early December at the Riu Negril. The beach is in a quiet bay and lovely for walking, with no wave activity. There were seaweeds and muddy spots, but overall clean and warm water. Service was excellent and friendly. The entertainment was above average. The resort and our stay was all very nice except for the sand fleas... I was bitten all over and felt very uncomfortable.

Couples Tower Isle: Another exceptional trip to CTI

Once again, the staff at Tower Isle did not disappoint. Exceptional service, food and activities are all part of the norm. We will definitely be going back. Its so nice to come home and be remembered by front desk staff, management, waiters, bartenders and water sports personnel.

Riu Ocho Rios: Very nice-clean resort, good beach, good food

We were 2nd time in RIO OCHO RIOS. Little bit far away form the airport 1.5 hr. drive. Driver stop for 30 min after 1 hr drive for "refreshments" that was not necesery. Tired from traveling we wanted to be at the hotel, not siting on bus and waiting for driver to get on the road. Registry: - went fast and they were very accomodating. Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: great vacation

The resort was small and well laid out. The a la cartes were all delicious as was the buffet. The beach was a good size and kept clean and you could snorkel right there. All of the staff were very nice and hard working. The only issue that I had was when walking on the beach early in the morning, there were locals selling their ware as well and selling and smoking pot...every day. Riu Ocho Rios: Very Good

We did not explore the resort thoroughly because it was raining almost everyday. Out of the 3 alacarts we dined at the scenery and food were very good. The beach was nice with many shaded spots from palm trees.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: fantastic resort

Amazing food....restaurants were top notch! Friendly people. Clean water (potable). Not for seniors as loads of stairs to climb daily and lots of walking as it is a huge resort. But for us we loved the exercise!! Would recommend this resort highly!

Dreams Rose Hall: Great place to kick back and relax

My lovely wife and I just returned from a vacation at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is nice and close to the airport and situated on one of the biggest beaches in the area. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained and clean. It did not matter where we ate, the food was delicious. The drinks were incredible as well. There was a daily special every day as well as many delicious concoctions that relaxed us even more. The Oasis at Sunset: Great hotel for the price

Hotel going under renovations did not inconvenience us a tall, only some restaurants were open as it is low season but the food and service was five star. We hope the price does not go up a lot as we will be back

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: WONDERFUL HOTEL

This is my second time at this hotel. This time I needed to take a handicap room as I walk with a walker and the room was great. The front desk staff are very helpful and always have a smile. The buffet was good as there was always a good variety of food to choose from. Planning my next visit to this wonderful hotel.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful holiday

Nice rooms, food was great and the staff wonderful! Music at meals was a bit loud, but overall good value for your money! Easy access to town with taxi. I would recommend going to the Dunn river excursion.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Champagne Holiday

Great flight. Thank you Sunwing. Reception was not organized. We booked Lady Hamilton but were dropped off at the Palladium resort and told that we had to check in here. After waiting in a long line up to check in we decided to shuttle ourselves to the Lady Hamilton side and checked in there?? We found this disorganized and disheartening. There were promises to get a more private room etc... as we were celebrating our Champagne anniversary and second visit to the resort. We never heard back from [... read more] anyone at reception and nothing special was done for us. Again very disappointing and did speak with a manager who was only sympathetic but that's all. The room was nice but no privacy as there was a building right across from our balcony. Furniture and décor was new and fresh. Cleaning staff were not efficient at all with never enough towels and days when no cleaning was done or done so late that we never bothered. We did speak to the cleaning manager. The grounds and pools were always kept clean. The entertainment staff is what made our trip memorable. They were always on cue and kept everyone entertained. The shows were amazing at night and we danced on the beach during an amazing bonfire party. Washrooms were kept clean around the resort except the one near the pool bar. Broken porcelain etc... with a busy crowd. Food was great with lots of variety and we always found something good to eat. Gym was fantastic and I (Husband) used it 5 out of 7 days to justify all the food intake. Aside from the reception and Maid service we will be returning to the resort in the summer with our kids as they built a nice water park for them.

Hedonism II: Nice clean resort

The resort is very well kept for its age. The grounds are kept very tidy on a daily basis. Much renovations have been done and are still being done to upgrade it, but did not affect our stay. The food was very good with a great selection. Resort was a little pricey but worth the stay compared to most.
