The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Wonderful resort!

I loved this resort. The staff was very helpful and nice. Which is always wonderful when you're in a foreign country. There were a lot of gourmet dishes to choose from which kept us full the entire stay ! Also a great variety of drinks to keep you going all week. The hotel staff worked very hard to make sure that everything was nice and clean for everyone which helped to make the week away from home a good one. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We spent one week in June 2019 and had an amazing time - great food entertainment and pool bar -great service staff was awesome rooms were clean spacious and nice a cool and had awesome jet tub Would recommend to anyone

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Amazing!

Couldn't ask for any more out of a hotel. The staff is exceptional - friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable. Excellent entertainment nightly. Every room has an oceanview and is spacious. The food is amazing - healthy options are available as well! I recommend this hotel highly.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Phenomenal!

Amazing service - staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent food - a wide variety of fruits and vegetables as well! Clean rooms - all with oceanview and huge rooms. Amenities - an abundance of activities to keep you busy. Entertainment - excellent!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

Sian Kaan was a great resort and I will definitely recommend going there to all of my friends! Went there for 7 days and couldn't believe how fast it went by. It's so easy to get from place to place, the shuttle cars come by every 7-10 minutes. Personally would also consider going to Akumal as that hotel was right next to the beach and had a really nice infinity pool.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good Resort

This resort was good, a lot of walking if you have small children. The water at the beach was not clean, but they have a spot about two hotels down that the water is clear and nice to swim. The food was great, serves was excellent.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Relaxing Time

The hotel was clean and the staff were (for the most part) helpful and friendly. We found Jose at the check-in desk great, as well as Ever & Edna in the dining room and Gustavo at the pool bar. The beach is still providing a display of sea weed, but the hotel is doing its best to remove it as best they can.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Perfect!

La Perla was clean, picturesque and filled with intoxicating aromas! Royal service was well worth the additional cost, and we enjoyed every second of our stay. Food, drinks, atmosphere and staff were amazing!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beaulieu

My husband and had a wonderful time from arriving to departure. We arrive at the Coba and after checking inn we discover are A/C wasn't working We called the front desk they sent a maintenance person Who called the front desk and told them the A/C was broken. The front desk spoke with my husband and explained that we would have to move room. We were upgraded to The Tulum. The hotel was fantastic including the food. We will be returning in the near future.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice resort

Large resort, lots of golf carts to take you around, fast check in, good food/drinks, bad beach, nice pool, friendly staff, fairly clean. Slow staff in dining room. Lots to do on resort. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

El Dorado Seaside Suites: 5 stars!

This resort was amazing! From the food to the staff and service, you really couldn’t be treated more like royalty. The personal concierges make sure that you have everything you need and more, the service staff provide top notch quality service, and the atmosphere of the resort is friendly and fun. Many bars and restaurants to choose from, and fun daily activities and events right there. Definitely plan on going back!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort, 2nd visit.

This hotel is in the jungle. About a 5-10 min trolley ride from the beach and other hotels. It has a dedicated section of beach that is adults only. The buffet is good but small. We preferred going to the Akumal hotel buffet as it had more variety. Overall we had a good time once again and we enjoyed our trip!

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: fantstic resort

3 of us stated in the room, we thought the spa bath was an inconvenience as it just occupied space and we never used it.\ the toilet was too small night shows could be outside in the large paved area more activities needed

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Nice resort - bad beach

If you are a beach lover then pass on this one! Due to the high amount of seaweed we were unable to use the beach. Not happy as I am allergic to the swimming pools due to the chlorine. Not much to do in the evenings after the show.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Awesome times at Occidental at Xcaret

The Occidental at Xcaret resort is amazing! It is a large resort with lots of offerings. Many restaurants, bars, pools and a nice man made beach that is calm. A wonderful trolley will continuously stroll up and down the paths and take you wherever you need to go. This is fun but also helpful for the young and old who may not find it easy to get around as easy. We had an amazing corner preference suite in building 18 on the second floor that had a seating area, large bathroom, mini fridge and large wraparound balcony. The best part is that we were on the quieter side closer to the jungle so the monkeys visited a lot. The attentive staff working at the the resort are always asking if you are enjoying your stay and always say hi as you pass by. The food in the main dining room buffet is delicious and plenty of variety. The canal through the resort is beautiful also. Every evening a traditional Mayan celebration happens we’re they paddle up the canal with drums. There are many shops with items made in Mexico from beautiful sterling jewelry, wood carvings, clothing and more. A wonderful feature about this resort and location is that it is adjoining to the Xcaret adventure park where you can swim through natural waterways, through tunnels and caves, see and swim with dolphins, see manatees, sea turtles, stingrays and so much more! The horse show and Mayan night show is not to miss! This resort is amazing!!

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Wonderful Vacation

We had the absolute best time at this resort. The accommodations were wonderful, the food was great and we were thoroughly impressed with the customer service. Highly recommend and intend on visiting again!

For a resort in mexico the food was terrible. My entire family got food poisoning about half way through the trip. Rooms seemed very old and outdated, cracked tiles in the bathroom and bedroom and you can hear people in the room next to you talking. Only thing I really enjoyed about the resort was the large pool, But it was a twenty minute walk from our rooms. Seems they have too many people on the resort and the staff have a hard time keeping up with the demand this shows most in the food. Iberostar Waves Tucan: Small and peaceful

This my 1st visit of this resort. I really like the environment inside the resort. It's small, cute, modern and authentic. It has one of the best beaches in Playa de Carmen. 20 minutes walk to Playa de Carmen from the hotel. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. Rooms are standard - clean and nice. Entertainment is awesome! If you're looking for small, quite, peaceful resort - this is the right place for you!!! I'll definitely come back here again in the future!!!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Family Resort!

We originally booked the standard room but when we arrived at check in we upgraded to the Eco Family Superior room. The Eco Family room is spacious with bunk beds which the kids loved. These rooms were also newly renovated and closer to all the amenities (ie pool, restaurants). I recommend the Eco Room over the standard because you get wifi, 24hr room service,and its closer to all the facilities.
