Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Best time!

We had a great family vacation and enjoyed every minute of this beautiful resort. The beach is amazing, the suites are great and the staff is so friendly. The resort is family friendly, has many activities and great restaurants and buffets. We hope to return again!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Great time ......except

Clean, excellent staff, huge, great food, my husband broke his foot while we where there so we couldn't do any excursions , we really wanted to go snorkelling but he broke it on the 3 rd day so that was out of the question :( all we could really do was go to the pool, they did get us a wheel chair, thank goodness , they where very helpful

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great retreat from the cold

I was a little hesitant to commit myself to go after reading a few reviews but all the problems were just not there. Buffets were good with a large selection of food for just about everyone.Hotel was a little dated perhaps from the nineties or so but was very very clean and the quality of service staff was above average. The language barrier was a problem but it is their country and efforts were made by everyone to communicate and understand each other.Grounds were immaculate and very well tende [... read more]d.Ocean was very wavy,choppy and had a large amount of seaweed but small clumps and water was warm,I think the weeds were because we were on the north side of the island and it couldn't be helped.Lawn chairs were a problem as ALL people were putting their towels on the chair and using them or hoarding them all day for only an hour or so of use. The secret to getting one is to get out and up between 6 or 7 am and stick a towel on a chair for yourself and then go back to bed.This is a problem whenever you go to any resort or cruise ship.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Amazing vacation

We were overwhelmed at how wonderful the staff were at this resort. The hotel was beautiful and super clean. The grounds were beautiful and the beach amazing. As expected given where we were the food was not terrific but still ok. The only complaint I have is we had ants in our room - this was NOT significant enough to put a damper on our vacation. We had an amazing time!

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Outstanding Resort

This was one of the best holidays that we have ever had. From check in to check out, it was amazing........our ocean front room with a king size bed was perfect, the food at every meal was outstanding, I had lobster almost every day, the beach and the waves we will never forget, the service was wonderful. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Resort was nice, staff were friendly and helpful.

The resort was nice, it is not too big. Service was good, staff were friendly and helpful, always pleasant! Our room was okay, the beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed the beach and sitting by the pool. It was a relaxing holiday.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: The best I have been to in Cuba in the 3 time!!

The place was beautiful!! The beaches were amazing , the staff excellent, and the food was good for Cuba!! We had a blas! Entertaine is a must see. Went on the catamaran tour and that is a must thing to do!! Would I go back to this resort? yes in a heart beat!!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Beautiful resort

Beautiful beach. Nice clean resort. Great location and not far from the airport. Only drawback is that there was on free wifi, not even in the lobby. Nice beautiful sandy beach and amazing clear waters.

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: A Good Vacation

This was our first trip to Punta Cana. Overall, we had a good time and the resort is lovely. I thought we were booking into a smaller resort, but found out that there are actually three Iberostar resorts side-by-side, so all in all it's a huge complex and very busy with lots of people. A fair bit of walking is required to get around to all sections/restaurants. Sandy beach was very nice and long, good for long beach walks. At the end of Feb/early March it was very windy at the beach and water wa [... read more]s very rough. Only a few people actually ventured in to the water as a result. But the pools were protected enough that the wind was not a problem. Pools are very nice but the water was cold, not heated. Both the beach and pool areas have plenty of palapas for shade, but they are taken early, so you do have to get there early to get a lounger in the shade (after 10:00 you'd have a hard time finding two loungers together). Overall the food was adequate. I thought the buffets were pretty good, but none of the specialty restaurants were great, they were mostly just adequate ... if I had to choose, I'd say the Mexican restaurant was the best of the bunch. We stayed in a junior suite which was a little more expensive than the standard rooms and situated in a building close to lobby, bar, theatre and buffet restaurant. The standard rooms are situated in two buildings close to the pool and beach and a beach buffet restaurant, but a little walk from the lobby, etc. With the junior suite you are a 'club' member and are supposed to get a number of upgrades. When we checked in we received none of those and we had to ask several times to get most of those upgrades but we never did receive the nightly turn-down service (not that we cared that much). One of the 'club' upgrades was one hour per person/day wifi which normally costs $3.00/hour. All in all, a good vacation and I'd recommend the resort, but I'd personally try a different resort if I visited Punta Cana again.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: A Solid Four Plus

We have been over 20 resorts in Cuba and D.R. and rate this hotel near the top. We paid for a bungalow which was clean, up dated and comfortable. The resort is small , well kept and the staff excellent. The other patrons from around the world were friendly and more considerate then some places we have been to. We meet some great folks from Britain, Ireland, Canada and other nations who were there to have fun and share the wonderful experience of this unique resort.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: 3.5+ Resort

I would rate it an 3.5+. Good - Employees were very nice - Food was good - Pools are great. - The shows were very good. The one in the pools. - Mexicain restaurant was the best one. Not so good - First night was in an old room, too old to sleep in. Ask for a better room and we landed in a renovated room on the second night. This was better. The resort should not rent the old rooms - Public washrooms and gymnasium needs to be cleaned more often. - The surroundings of the pools should be renovat [... read more]ed. - Need more chairs. Should get more new chairs - No beach towels for 2 days - For an Iberostar, it sould be better.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: My 1st Vacation at the Iberostar Varadero, Cuba

The entire Resort was simply amazing and more than what I had ever dreamed it would be. I am so happy I finally got to stay at the Iberostar Varadero, Cuba and will definitely be returning in the future.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!

This was our 1st All Inclusive ever and we had NO regrets! Everything was great! From the room, to the friendly staff, to the food and ala carte choices, the beach, and the service! This was also our 1st trip to Cuba and we so enjoyed the country, people and excursions we went on. Thanks and we will be back!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: The people were just great .

The washrooms need alot more attention .Everytime you went in the public ones they were out of toilet paper .agoring to say the lest . The people are very friendly and helpful Enjoyed the water exercise .Sunwing need to update their airline updates more often.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Iberostar Ensenachos

We had a great week at the Iberostar Ensenachos. Our room was lovely, the food was good. The staff was most friendly and helpful. The beaches were spectacular, especially Ensanados beach... white sand as far as the eye can see and good ssnorkeling.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: staff amazing but the resort old!

Smallest resort! Perfect for none walking people! Staff great. Food ok. Room needs some work. We had to move because it's smell so bad. The resort is far from the airport and Varadero. The beach is a beautiful but windy.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Fun was had by all. :)

Nice quiet resort with very little issues. Good food and lots of pools. It also has one of the nicer beaches in the area. Beautiful weather... for my stay anyway :) There were minor issues with wifi and the lack of hot water (it was warm) but neither effected the trip in a negative way. I would happily return to this resort.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Had a great time!!!

Staff were awesome. Treated us like Kings! Travelled with 12 total. Always found room for us all, actually waiting for us with table ready. Food was very good. Beach was awesome! Lots to do if you wanted to with Star Friends. The wait staff were always around to fill your drinks. Hardly used my Bubba as they were always looking to get you drinks. Pool water was a little cooler than I like but the weather was cooler before we arrived, but not the resorts fault. We stayed in a standard room and it [... read more] was fine. The layout of the resort is nice and the villas had nice views that you didn't have to pay extra for. Great trip, would go back tomorrow if I could!! Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Never disappointed

This was our third vacation to this resort; once as Royal Hideaway and twice as Iberostar. Although there are a couple of signs of the resort looking a little tired, it did not affect our overall vacation. The beaches are still the most beautiful in Cuba. The staff are the best by far, warm friendly hospitality from all (gardeners, chamber maids, waiters, waitresses, bellhops, registation and travel reps). The al a carte restaurants were excellent and we actually thought the variety in the buffet restaurant was better than on previous visits. As this was our first visit to this resort with a youngster we hoped it would still be terrific and we were not disappointed. The staff goes out of their way to make sure even the little ones are having a great time. Our family would highly recommend this resort to families and adults alike.
