Bahia Principe Explore Coba: It was a great vacation

Very nice hotel, we enjoyed everything in it : service, meals, organization, beach, activities. Staff was very helpfull and friendly , we had some questions and everithing was resolved with patience. In general organization was very good - from meeting us in airoport till bringing back to airoport. Beautiful place, would recommend it. Very nice park and show at Xcaret , ~20-30 min from hotel

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Amazing Resort

This was the second time we stayed at this resort. It was again amazing! The grounds are immaculate, the people are friendly, the food is amazing and the beach is spectacular. We love this resort and looking forward to our next stay here.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort!

5th time to riviera maya, 1st time to coba- Very nice resort. Too big for myself personally, but resort layout and shuttles make it easily accessible to all areas! Amazing food. Very clean. Not the greatest beach, lots of seaweed and very rocky in the water. big length wise, but very short width. Staff excellent ( they always are). Overall great. Definitely the 4.5 rating.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort!

The Gran Bahia Ambar Green is a beautiful, well maintained property. It is exceptionally clean. The buffet&restaurants were delicious. The staff were very friendly with always a "it is my pleasure" comment! The Bavaro beach is very beautiful and staff are always raking the seaweed which is very labour intensive as there is so much daily! Our only complaint is we have been going to this resort for years and the bugs or mites in the lobby bars are getting worse every year! We have stayed at two o [... read more]ther resorts in Punta Cana and have not encountered this problem, also we invited two other couples with us this year and they have not experienced this problem in their previous travels.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Wonderful Experience

I was skeptical about going to this resort from seeing the reviews, however, id like to say I had the best experience here. The food, entertainment, the beautiful resort itself, makes me want to live there. I just want to thank the staff for their hard work and postive vibes all throughout the days I stayed. I recommend!

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great resort, poor Trip Central support

The accommodations were great, the staff was friendly and the scenery was beautiful. Our only issue was with Trip Central and their customer service when we had airline problems. Resort was great, but wouldn't use Trip Central again

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great Resort

We recently returned from a one week stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay and had a great time. Overall it is a great resort and I would recommend it to couples or singles wishing to get away for an easy, fun holiday. The Good - Rooms are very clean, great size and well maintained. A/C works great. Always hot water for the nice big shower. Double sinks are great. Balcony is big and clean. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Love the Coconut Beach Bar. It's nice to have a proper bar (with decent alcohol) and toilets so close to the beach. The staff are great (Maureen and Jason in particular) And if you're lucky, you'll be there when DJ HQ/Andre shows up! He is amazing! It's such a great idea to have music at that bar because otherwise it can be a little quiet. The karaoke and disco are good options for night time entertainment. It's on the Grand side, but it's easy to walk or to have a golf cart drop you off. The best beach is in the middle, beside the wedding chapel. It's a little rocky but overall it's the best option because there is some sand and there are some good spots for snorkeling. The So-So - The Luxury lobby bar is OK. The servers are OK but its sort of lifeless around there, even when there is entertainment it's just not that great. Dance lessons or something would be great. Also, for an adults only side I think closing the bar at 11pm is way too early. Although there is a disco on the other side of the bar it's not for everyone. I feel 1am would be much more appropriate. The restaurants are just OK. Honestly we ate in the buffet every night, even after going to the restaurants. The quality and taste are better in the buffet, and for us there were better options for my bf. It's too bad there isn't a Jamaican restaurant! The Needs-To-Improve - The beach on the Luxury side. It's very shallow with too many rocks/shells for the fact there is a big break wall so it should be cleaned out better. Wifi access was problematic. For the entire trip I had to go into the lobby for access. Even though I don't need/want to be attached constantly, it's nice to have access when I want it, where I want it and how it is advertised. And for the first 1.5 days neither of us have access anywhere. Lobby in general. For the Luxury side, it's not nearly as luxurious looking as the Grand side, and it's just kinda boring. Overall though I recommend it for value in Jamaica! This was my second visit and I would absolutely consider returning. I noticed some improvements from the last time I visited (Oct 2016) which was nice to see.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful resort

Well kept and maintained resort. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and plenty of variety. Activities and facilities were wonderful. Second visit to Grand Bahia Principe Coba and will return for another visit.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: It was Ok

The resort was beautiful and the Jamaican staff great. The hotel has communication problems. It was a hassle to make reservations for the restaurants as their wasn't any times available but u walk by the restaurants and they were 20% occupied. This visual pissed off a lot of the guests. 9 of us got sick after the Japanese restaurant. My stay at the Iberostar was much better.

Cayo Levantado Resort: This was a beautiful resort,and the staff were the best.

The Vella that we had was very nice and kept so clean. Our butler Remon was so helpful,and such a friendly young man,that we felt he kept us very comfortable and informed. The sad note was the weather,and several of our friends got sick.

No complaints Staff friendly food amazing rooms nice and very clean the scenery great and grounds well kept and beautiful beach was small got beach chairs everyday the shows were typical resort shows animation staff engaging and alot of fun The restaurants Italian and french very good

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Lots of fun

This is my second time to the resort, yes it hasn't changed much in 12 years, but I still had a blast. Entertainment is a strong point. Food is decent. Excursions were also pretty good. Rooms clean and well appointed. Enjoyed my time. Great bang for buck.

All pools.bars.shows and food were great.staff was amazing .not enough seafood presented.not enough english tv or guide to english channels.would have preferred a channel guide or radio for music in the room.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great vacation

The resort was well laid out and easy to get from place to place. Two pools offer you a quiet day or a more entertaining day both with swim up bars. Overall we enjoyed this resort. Food was great. Rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Staff were great. Special shout out to Annabel and Luis. If there was a suggestion to be made it would be the service in the lounge/bars. The servers need to be more attentive, this is were there is room for improvement. I would recommend this resort.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: You have to go here!

This resort is amazing. I had such a great time. All of the staff on the resort are very helpful and friendly and fun. The only thing I didn't like were the beds, they were too hard otherwise everything was terrific. The food was delicious, the tour guide was great and told us so much about the history of the island. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Wonderful vacation!!!

This was our first trip to Jamaica and we would return in a heartbeat. We stayed on the Luxury side, which gave us access to the entire resort. The staff was extremely friendly, happy to answer any questions, whether about the resort, about Jamaica in general or sites we should visit off the resort. We liked the food, tried four of the à la carte restaurants. And really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the adults only side. Only suggestion to improve would be for the sports bar to offer some sort [... read more] of bar food - nachos, wings, even just chips and peanuts would be nice. It was somewhat surreal to be in Jamaica with a bar full of people chanting "Go Leafs Go" as we watched Game 6 of the first round of the playoffs. The rum flowed freely and even though we had some rain most evenings, the weather was amazing. The staff was constantly cleaning, our Air Canada Rep was fabulous and always accessible. It was a truly wonderful, relaxing vacation which ended far too quickly.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Best Vacation Ever!

Choosing the Bahia Principe Ambar Blue for a week's vacation was the best decision we ever made. We were treated like someone special right from the beginning. It's a huge resort, but don't let that scare you - the staff knows how to get you to where you need to be (we think the adult-only Ambar Blue is the best section - close to pool, beach, and restaurants - love building 46) and there are shuttles that take you across the entire resort for additional activities, restaurants, night club, sho [... read more]pping, etc. The local staff made our stay so enjoyable - from housekeeping filling up our refrigerator with our preferred beverages to the beautiful friendly people on the beach taking drink orders - they are just such happy people with a great vibe and they want you to have a wonderful experience. WiFi was a little spotty, but the more I thought about it, the more I wondered if it's intentional to help you disconnect from the real world and just take the time to relax.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Last Time - Never Going Back

This was our 3rd time at the Ambar resort (once Ambar blue, 2 Ambar green). We emailed out room request 6 weeks in advance. Arrived around 12 noon. Check in was a nightmare. Our rooms where not ready until approximately 3:30 p.m. and we were given rooms in the 8400 facing construction on the first floor. Next day, Daniella at the Ambar Green gave us what we had originally requested which was pool side view on second floor. Thank you Daniella. The fridge was never restocked properly even  [... read more]after leaving a note. Towels were not replaced and we were missing something almost every day (coffee, sugar, cream). Asked for 3 wake up calls. Never got them. Thank god I had brought my own alarm clock. Food at the buffet is good but after six days, repetitious. Will not be returning.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful Resort!

The grounds are perfectly manicured, the public areas are cozy, clean, and peppered throughout, the rooms are a decent size with all the amenities necessary. The food was amazing at all the a la carts. (We went to 7 of them) The beach at the Esmerelda is a bit crowded but we swam at the Ambar which was lovely.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, our room was amazing with excellent views of the ocean and the grounds.We found the staff on the luxury side to be friendly and helpful, however we did not find the same on the Grand bahia side of the hotel. the food in the Jasmine was excellent with a large variety to suite just about everyone.the staff were very friendly and helpful. Down sides to the hotel, the beach was not that great and the elevators had issues all week during our stay.
