Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Good Hotel
Dining was great. Good food, Friendly people Maintenance an issue. Called or visited the desk 5 times trying to get the toilet handle fixed. Finally fixed on the last full day we were there. Take a picture of the map on the walkways, the web site map isn't sufficient to find your way around.
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Great Stay! but a few hiccups.
This is a very large Hotel complex. We stayed on the Luxury Adults Only section. Our check in was very prompt and our rooms were large and very clean. We had a 3rd floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool and a partial view of the ocean. However it tended to be very noisy in the evening because we were close to the Bar. We had issues with the toilet and had to have someone up to fix it 3 times before it was fixed properly. We had a bad experience with the Romantic Dinner on the Beac [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Nice Resort
Very nice resort, grounds, buildings and rooms beautiful. Food selection excellent, specialty restaurants very good and service excellent. Pools Nice and could always get a chair/lounger. Bar service at all bars excellent. Only problem - smokers everywhere, but we already read this online, and new what to expect. Most smokers rude (blocking entrances etc). With a large number of french canadian's and europeans present, you could expect to see alot of smokers.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Another great stay at Sian Kaan
Third time visiting this resort and continues to offer good value for adults only resort. Excellent service and friendly staff. Food choices are plentiful since you can also dine at Coba, Akuma and Tulum. Great efforts are taken to keep the beach clean as all along the Riviera Maya struggles with seaweed problems. The only disappointment was the restaurant booking. The app allows you to book restaurants 10 days in advance of arrival, however they were mostly booked for where we wanted to d [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: great resort
it's great. recommendation about the Akumal beach. they should have it opened to all guest for food as well. I just wish that the line for food and drinks should be regulated because people just go butt in line
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Nice Resort
We really enjoyed our vacation, the resort was beautiful and everyone was so nice. The only thing I didn't like was the unlimited al a carts, I didn't know that you had to reserve 10 days in advance on their app. So we didn't get to experience the specialty restaurants.:(
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great place
This was our first tome at this resort but will not be our last. The resort was a great place. Everything was clean and well kept, the service from the staff is amazing, food was amazing and the beach and pools were great. This was not an overly party resort which we liked. If I HAD to nitpick the only complaint was that some of the buffet food was not labeled. Aside from that everything was really great
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Budget resort
Although we enjoyed our stay overall, this is at best a "budget" resort. Our room was dated and appeared heavily used, the tv was maybe 13", the beds are stiff and only a "double" so a couple would be hard to fit comfortably, and there was only (1)one plug available in the main room and (1)one in the bathroom, which was not convenient when trying to charge your devices .I believe they renovating this particular resort shortly, which is heavily needed. The buffet was fine, there was no specialty [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: 99% of the Staff are Awesome
I have been to many properties in Punta Cana, but this hotel was one I had not visited yet. Most of the staff are awesome, and the food was definitely good. I prefer smaller hotels, so I would not return to this property. It is really four different resorts in one, making it HUGE. My biggest complaint is the loud shouting and music around the main pool. We were on a couple's getaway, looking for a quieter atmosphere.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very nice resort
We stayed at Coba from Apr 10 to 17, 2025. The food was excellent. As for the beach you have to take a trolly to go over. The beach is small and has seaweed but its still nice. The a la carte restaurants we had Le Gourmet, The Brazilian and Don Pablo they were all very good but Le Gourmet was my personal favorite I would return to this resort again
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Lovely resort
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Bahia Coba. Lots of activities, food was good, staff was very friendly. It is more of a family resort. Lots of kids with a fun waterpark. The shows were great. I think they could use a little bit more entertainment in the evening after the shows. Maybe the sports bar could have music/a band for later night dancing/socializing other than that a great place to stay. Ps… it is a long drive from Cancun airport (1.5 hr) but once there other areas are close (ie.. Aku [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing resort!
The resort was very clean, had great service, and had tons of amenities. We never had to wait in a line at the bars or the buffets. Food was great, especially the snack bar breakfast! The nightly evening shows were very good. Reservations at the a la carte restaurant we’re very hard to get though.
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Adults Only Resort on Bavaro Beach
The Bahia Principe Ambar is a beautiful property, with lush landscaping and many amenities including a Gym and Spa.The rooms are modern and very clean. The dining options are numerous, International A La Carte Restaurants and The Palymra Buffet which offers a different theme of cuisine every night. The one thing that sets this resort apart is the Professional Entertainment they offer every day of the week. Looking forward to returning in 2026.
Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Bahia Bougainville La Romana, Lovely resort
Third time the charm.this resort never disappoints. Amazing staff, cleanliness of the resort from the grounds to the cleanliness of the rooms. Food is amazing, always choices to be made from a la carts to the buffet. Evening entertainment in the adult lobby can be relaxing from either taking in listening to a sax or violin in one area or for the young at heart there is karaoke, 80s music, silent disco or Dominican entertainment. For those looking for a quiet pool, this resort has you covered [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Overall ok for the room but like the beach
The beach very beautiful. The meals good enough except Japanese restaurant. For the room service not good. They don’t give enough bottles of water to drink.I asked for water but waiting for long time. The first room has a bad smell. They changed an other room for us. It’s ok.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing
The hotel grounds were immaculate, always kept very clean and very beautiful. The dining area was easily some of the best we've ever seen and the selection of food and quality food was a 10 out of 10. The only thing better than all of this was the customer service we received from all the employees thatwere always so friendly and eager to help with anything we needed
Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing Vacation
Resort: overall 4.5/5 and we would stay again! Location: only half an hour from the airport so that was a bonus! Grounds: beautiful; very well maintained; no garbage anywhere Pool: one large pool (but can visit others around the resort); water was warm; service great at the pool bar Beach: only visited once; got bad sand flea bites on the first day and did not return Food: breakfast = always delicious; lunch = also always good; dinner = mostly tasty (still enjoyed the food overall; but some [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing experience overall, would highly recommend especially for it's price
Had an awesome time. Pros: Beaches and pools are fantastic. So many activities with access to all 4 resorts. Buffet has tons of options, mexican cuisine was obviously the best. Cons: Sian Ka'an is far from the other resorts, shuttle takes 15min to get around, its a fun ride though. A la carte restaurants were pre-booked when you arrive and it's difficult to change reservations. Food at the a la carte restaurants ended up pretty meh, stick with seafood and avoid the international cuisines (asia [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: terrible for us
the hotel was clean and grounds were great the rooms ok hated there was no beach puts it done to a 1 for us, foods at buffet was for us uneatable , except for fruit and ice cream, rooms were outdated and old feeling, beds were hard and our fridge was not stocked daily. I will not return as this resort did not offer me 3 things I thought was there, beach/to swim in, international liquor (crown royale was $9.00 a shot american) and small
Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Good resort!
The food and staff at this resort were amazing!! Cant say enough about them-absolutely great service. The beach was absolutely stunning and you can walk it in either direction for ever. Tons of beach chairs and palapas for everyone so there was no mad dash to get down there in the morning. the buffet was hands down one of the best-plates and plates of bacon every day and huge steaks and pork chops ready to be cooked for you on the spot. The resort itself was small (good for people with kids [... read more]
