Memories Jibacoa: Great vacation

Fantastic rep (Marina onsite). Main restaurant not good about knowing which items were Glutenfree. Al a Carter restaurants fantastic! Terrible Aquafina classes - staff should be trained; guests should be taken out first time in reef to show them what to do and more importantly, what not to do (or the reef will continue to be destroyed in that area). Nice to see couples walking around hand in hand. Fantastic service from trip central rep who booked my trip

Memories Jibacoa: good

Best location. Nice service. Food always fresh. Ocean view amazing. Rooms are in good condition . Cuban people are the best. Cac currency is expensive. Not enough table to eat outside always line up. Massage is expensive. Fresh fish every day. Milk products good.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Relaxing pre-Christmas break

Low rise buildings make the resort feel more intimate and welcoming. Rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. Great multi-lingual staff. Good mix of guests from around the world. Dive shop on site, Ocean Encounters, is top-notch. A breakwater has created a calm 'lagoon' for swimming as the ocean is quite rough. Food at the specialty restaurants is good, though a line-up is unavoidable. However the hot dishes at the main restaurant buffet are sometimes cold so you have to watch what you c [... read more]hoose.

Hotel Bella Costa: nice resort

the resort was decent but the exchange rate was a rip off. All the other resorts were giving a much better rate . The food was ok but we found it to be a lot of the same thing on a daily basis. I don't think we will be going back there again.

Hotel Bella Costa: Very Nice Resort for the money!!

We had a great time at the resort! Cubans are awesome friendly people! The food was really good, even our 8 year old loved it.. The staff always seemed to go the extra mile. We also recommend buying art from our new friend David who is a local artist that sells his prints at the hotel lobby. ( Say hi from Astro and Denise) Be careful of the money exchange, we once got charged 30% at time of booking excursion and then they charged my card in American funds which was another 30%.

Hotel Bella Costa: Amazing trip

nice beach, nice bar, good service, I think the door of the room need to be fixed. it's too loud when closing the door, everytime I have to hold it to avoid waking up another room's people in the night time.

Memories Jibacoa: Beautiful resort!

We found the resort to exceed expectations after reading many reviews. The food is better than anticipated and Alberto, the tennis pro, is outstanding ... took two lessons while visiting. The current manager is doing much to make the resort, food, etc better. Also close to Havana for a long day visit as it again is becoming a go to world tourist city.

Breezes Bahamas: Excellent beach location ~ hotel not so much.

Food was very good and lots of variety. We had a good time but the hotel did have a moldy smell in the rooms as well as the piano bar. What really needs to be addressed by management as they have some very unhappy staff who are borderline rude - bartenders (main bar area) It's a shame as everyone else in the hotel is trying really hard but the hotel itself needs upgrading to compete with other hotels. Hotel Los Cactus: Awesome beach and wonderful staff

Resort was well laid out and clean and only 30 minutes from the airport. Staff were wonderful - making friends quickly and easily. The beach was terrific and never had any issues obtaining a lounger there. Water was so warm and we swam every day. Downside, food was unappetizing so take spices and snacks with you. Also we had no hot water last 3 days. The staff did record our complaint and tried to rectify. However, it was still cold. Upside, they offered to move us to another room but we only ha [... read more]d 1 day left so decided it was easier to stay where we were and showered at a friends room.

Hotel Bella Costa: Good Hotel

Big suite with extra bed, nice people. beautiful beach(though I was not there due to a few raining days). The night shows are awesome! The food is acceptable. The only issue is the minibar is not being refilled every day. I have to report to the reception to get the bottle water and juice because my daughter need it everyday.

Memories Jibacoa: Just perfect!

I loved the fact that everything was within walking distance. You could see the ocean from many points on the resort, including the lobby area. You knew where everything was happening and didn't have to go far to find it. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lots of tree shade on the beach.

Breezes Bahamas: Great getaway

I have read a lot of negative reviews but I have been to this resort 5 times. So yes, it is an older resort and some things are dated. However, they have been doing upgrades on the resort constantly. That being said, the rooms are always spotless. The staff are excellent. Friendly and always ready to assist. The food is great and everything is accessible. They have a great beach and nightly activities. The newer resorts tend to be high rises and it takes a while to get around. I find the resort  [... read more]easy to get around and well laid out.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Home away from home....

This was my 6th time at this resort in the past three yrs. The staff are so friendly and its like going home each time i arrive. The rooms are big, air conditioning works well , and the location ! The location is right in the middle of Seven Mile Beach , you can walk to all the good stuff. I will return each time i go It isnt one of those big box jail like resorts. It is sweet and quaint . If you are looking for luxury , this isnt the place. BUT if you are looking for a deal with a great locat [... read more]ion and lovely staff....this is it. Every guest i meet seems to be a repeater , and if it is their first time , they quickly become hooked and say they will return

Hotel Los Cactus: Good resort

Beautiful, well kept grounds, friendly staff. The food was plentiful but basically the same everyday. Room was clean and plenty of towels. We could not get a lounge chair at the beach because they were always saved early in the a.m.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Wonderful as always

Great place to relax and snorkel. Nice island and great people. Mostly for water fun and swimming. Town is quaint and island tour well worth it to get a feel for outside the resort. Great weather and lots of fun.

Memories Jibacoa: Fantastic resort!

Grounds and scenery were beautiful, people (staff and other guests) were awesome! Public areas and rooms were very well kept and clean, food was above average. All in all a great place to spend a week or more.

Hotel Bella Costa: Good trip

hotel was dated but clean. one of the elevators did not work properly thru out the stay. Hotel staff was friendly. food was ok it was suppose to be a 4 day trip but turned out to be 3 days because of terrible cubana airlines flight times. the Havana tour was ok.

Hotel Los Cactus: Good value but in need of maintenance and mojitos

We were looking for two things in our hotel - adults-only and on the beach - and Breezes delivered on both. The trip was extremely good value for the money. We received a big room, which included a second bedroom, that looked over the pool. The beach was well-maintained and there were watersports readily available. The location was ideal as it was the middle of the Varadero Peninsula, which meant a reasonable departure hour for excursions and we were one of the first ones dropped off after the [... read more] excursions. The food was average. Good generic offerings (think most wedding buffets). There are three a la carte restaurants, and I would not recommend the Cuban one (Mojito's). Martino's and the grill one were good. One disappointment was that mojitos were hard to get. We only got them once during our stay as every other time we asked, they were out of mint. The hotel also needs a bit of maintenance (chipping paint, etc.) but there was construction while we were there so this may be resolved shortly. All in all, we would recommend this resort and stay again.

Breezes Bahamas: Could Be Better

I have been to Breezes many times over the years and for the most part been very satisfied. On my last trip in November I was disappointed in a number of things. The rooms are adequate but dated. The housekeeping team were great and the room nicely cleaned each day. The shower door however leaked water all over the floor and the handle on the shower fell off when I turned it on. Hardly used by the guests for the week I was there. Hot tub closed. Ocean is beautiful but while I was there rough and tons of seaweed although they worked hard to clean it up Only went to the buffet as I did not want to make a reservation for the restaurants. The food was OK - breakfast was the best option. What really annoyed me was some of the dining room servers in the morning seemed almost resentful of the guests. This really needs to be addressed by management as they have some very unhappy staff who are borderline rude. I don't know if I will return.

Hotel Los Cactus: Older resort

Staff were nice/friendly. Grounds clean. However in need of some updates. Same food over and over. Some staff were to not informative regarding resort . Food times were to late for the most. If you didnt make the times, you would have to until next time or next day.
