Viva Maya by Wyndham: Great Vacation

1st of all I rated this 5* for what I expected in a 3+ resort. Beach-amazing, a la cart food-awesome, staff-great, lay out-easy, rooms-better than some, basic but clean, liquor-top shelf, very clean, staff enjoyed working there took pride in their resort

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Great resort

Nice size resort. Great beach and friendly and helpful staff. Close to playa del Carmen. Great a la carte restaurants and you can also book the restaurants at their sister resort the Azteca. Playacar is a good location.

Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach: Great resort!

The Viva Dominicus beach was overbooked for a bungalow so they offered us to stay at the sister resort Viva Dominicus Palace in a superior room. Although disappointed at first we were happy the grounds, lobby and rooms were always very clean. We preferred the pools as the beach was a little too rocky for our tender feet. There was always fresh towels, pool towels and plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Beautiful resort,

Well kept, great food. Selection of food is somewhat limited. Bars close early. Not the place to go if you are hoping for any kind of evening fun. I gave a low score for service because evenings are total dead zone here. Nothing stays open other than an indoor lobby bar. Service from the wait staff when they are open is excellent.

Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Best of the best

This is my second time to this resort. It really is the best of the best. The rooms are clean, up to date and maid service 3 times a day. Food is mostly of a menu with lots of delicious choices. Breakfast buffet better than all the other resorts . Antnios is just fantastic, roast duck, rack of lamb its all a taste treat and you are treated like royalty. Service and staff are awesome. The resort lay out is amazing and indescribable , best to go see for your self. This place truly is a 5star plus.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Terrific Tangerine for tuning out tanning

!ola staff: friendly..charming.. warm smiles. helpful above and beyond their duty. especially jose luis, leandro and gissel in bahia buffet. grounds: gorgeous... palm tree heaven. little birds fluttrring overhead. cool turtles (tortugas) just chillin in their pond. flowers everywhere! food: decent and plentiful. most handsome waiters and lovely waitresses. ocean: 4 foot waves. powerful. beautiful warm and turquoise gracias to raimondo: air transat rep besides raining 4 out of the 7 days there (d [... read more]ue to american storms) the 3 we did have were great.

Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Love this place

Beautiful resort, well maintained. Friendly staff, clean. Good value. The a la carte restaurant Antonio's was an absolutely incredible dining experience. I would go back just to eat there again. Water taxi service to Barra well worth it to go into the town for shopping, beach and beautiful sunsets

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Great 2nd time there

We stayed here two years ago and had a great time so we thought we would return again this year and it was just as great. We will have this place on our list for the future as well. The staff and cleanliness are what make this resort stand out.

Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Family oriented resort

It's a secluded resort with a small private beach. You won't see any trinket or souvenir sellers on the beach. The resort was very elegant at one time but now it needs updating. The entertainment is limited as well as the buffet.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Nice resort for wind related water sport

food is good, a lot of variation. staffs work really hard to make sure rooms and resort areas are clean. very calm inside the resort even-thought it is along a major road. very close to a sailing rental center if you like to sail.

Tryp Panama Playa Coronado: great conference centre, not so good for tourists,

"The hotel was clean, presentable. General MGR is great,very good will the staff & guests. I would give Glen a 10+.The hotel was very busy with many functions. I would advise your agents " this hotel is way out " Slums close!

Viva Maya by Wyndham: wonderful resort with very friendly staff!

Wonderful hotel who work hard to ensure that you enjoy your vacation! There are always activities happening from Yoga in the morning- to Catamaran sailing. There is something for everyone! We really enjoyed the free bike use- as Playa Del Carmen is a short 15 minute bike ride from the resort and is a wonderful town for shopping. The A La Cart restaurants were wonderful- with amazing food and service. We also took advantage of the Viva Wyndham Aztec which is a few resorts down and is accessible f [... read more]or guests staying at the Maya. This was a nice option for dinner one night. The international buffet has a wide variety of food and the Panini maker was a favourite for us for lunch! The rooms are clean and the balcony is a nice option. The Relax pool was a favourite for us! Tomas the bartender there is wonderful and keeps your drinks full with a smile! We would recommend this resort- you wont be disappointed!

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: need to improved

less than 3 * hotel,no electricity for 2 days,people on reception desk don't speak English,they Ruth,no helpful Bar close at 2 am,very poor entertainment,For money I payed I should get at least 4.5 star,sorry I don't recommended to no one to go to this resort

Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach: A Wonderful Vacation

I had a wonderful vacation at this resort. The entertainment was outstanding and the food was consistently excellent. The staff were very friendly and polite. On top of it all, the beach is amazing. I had a great time at Isla Saona and would definitely recommend this resort to others. El Capitano will be back!

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: GREAT VACATION

public area's of the hotel were fantastic. grounds were kept very nice. all common use areas were great. however the hotel rooms them selves need an update. they are really starting to fall apart. no hot water a huge problem. front desk staff not as nice as the rest of the staff. really lack of hot water the biggest problem.

a la carte dinners were amazing! thanks for organizing the beach party!!! michael jackson tribute was incredible. drinks could be improved and I'd reccomend different glasses overall very satisfied!

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: great value

The grounds and beach were immaculate. The staff were five star. The pools were cleaned daily. The buffet was varied and good quality. The rooms were simple, but clean. We will go back without any hesitation.

Highlights were beach.pools.grounds...best beach ever been on . Water so warm. Only one buffet but they tried very hard to refresh menu. Something for everyone. Staff exceptional. Rolando.junior .kenny eliazer and hostess girl became. Like family to us. Just sweet people that worked hard to please . Loved our balcony in the sun with a view. Room 2213. There 14 days and didn't get bored. And yes would love to return if price was right

Just returned June 3Rd 2015. the resort was very beautiful and you recognized there was consistent upkeep of the place. The food was limited for buffet breakfast and dinner. Repeated the same stuff over and over during our stay. Oatmeal was very soupy... Room was very clean and decent.

After reading reviews of Viva, I was hesitant to book. But I've been to this beach before so I took the chance. And thankful I did! Grounds/Room - Room 2516. Room was white/turquoise theme. Very pretty. Small, but who needs lots of room in the hotel? You don't spend much time in there. Had a mini fridge that our maid always stocked with water. Patio with chairs and a table. In the mornings, there was always lots of fruit, pancakes, French toast, sausages. Lunch and Dinner had many pastas, salads, fresh cooked burgers, pizzas, etc. Fruit and desserts were always available. I didn't get sick from anything, and I have a sensitive stomach. Service in the buffet was okay. We weren't catered to but our plates were always collected. The bartenders were great (but we always tipped them). They started giving my fiancé the "good liquor" which was captain morgan. Entertainment - The entertainers at this resort are fantastic. The Michael Jackson performer was fantastic, and they include guests whenever they can. They were constantly doing something around the pool, whether it was playing darts, marco polo, dancing, water aerobics, or yoga. Lots to do if you don't want to just lay around! The entertainers also were very friendly with the guests. Would sit and chat with people around the pool. Beach - AAAHHH... the beach *sigh*... I had been to this beach before. I knew how long and beautiful it was. The seaweed that washed ashore was cleaned up every morning. It was always clean. Water was warm and crystal. Amazing beach for windsurfing. Overall, this stay was fantastic. If you are without super high expectations and have been south to an all inclusive before, you will be pleased with this small but lively resort. We were here in low season, so I can only imagine how fun it would be when at full capacity. Would DEFINITELY go back here!
