Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Blau Costa Verde Plus

This hotel is very good. Room is clean. Food are better in winter time. The beach is small. Two pools are very good. All personal are polite. I want to go again in this hotel. I already recommended this hotel to my friends. They enjoyed very much.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Lovely picturesque resort

I spent a week at the Colonial at the end of June and early July, with my daughter and 8 year old grandson. It is a large, architecturally beautiful resort, with a lovely beach, several large swimming pools (both fresh and salt water), spacious rooms (ours was ocean view), very decent food (especially the Italian a la Carte), and friendly and efficient staff. Blau Varadero: Lovely resort!!

our time at the resort. The room was very comfortable, clean and had a nice view over the sea, beach and pool was nice and clean, food is good, international restaurant “à la carte” is a must to visit, the best we've seen in Cuba, and this is our 7th time in Cuba. We also liked the coffee in the pool area. Friendly staff made a wonderful stay at Blau Varadero, we will definitely go back. A big thank to the staff and management. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Well worth money spent

Hotel is good for money spent. I bought package from Toronto for $605. Good deal and good rest. The sea and the beach in good condition. Water was marvellous. Food wasn't too bad. Nice stay. There were 2 a la carte restaurants working. Would recommend .

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Great resort for families

The pool with a slide is a plus for families with kids. Food was great, but our kids lived on bread and butter the whole two weeks we were there. The beach is amazing. The room needs upgrading: paint peeling off.

Punta Peninsula Varadero: Blau Marina

Please get more food. A different variety of foods would be awesome. I've been to different resorts in Cuba. All over Cuba and I think that it is possible to have decent food. Other than that, great staff and enjoyable time...was there in June 2015

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Great vacation

This is a great place to stay if you like swimming, snorkeling, and fishing! They also have Karlos that comes every Friday morning to take those interested for a bird watching couple of hours. Friendly staff, as well!

Muthu Colonial Hotel: beautiful

Is my second time I have visited this hotel .all the recreational areas are fine ,efficient personal ,good is food but the menu is always the same .you need variation , and the rooms are not in good conditions. Is a beautiful hotel but it needs more brightness .

Blau Varadero: Nice resort

The Blau Varadero is a hotel not a bungalow-type of resort. Rooms were clean and spacious, but tired. Could always find something to eat (hit the carver first). The elevators were excruciatingly slow.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: very impressed

The hotel is beautiful and pools and beach beey clean. Loads of activities for adults and children. Some of the buffet food was questionable but mostly great. All the employees are friendly and helpful. Only down side is the hotel washrooms and public washrooms need to updated and cleaned.

Blau Varadero: just ok

this resort is just ok , the staff is wonderful , beaches are amazing , very clean resort , food is horrible 4 people in our group got sick two of them need to see a doctor on the resort , I think it is the water they don't is bottle water in the resturants .

Blau Varadero: A little taste of Varadero

The experience was definitely one to remember. Had the opportunity to enjoy the adventures with a small group of close friends where we had a wide range of activities to explore from. Some of these extras included Snorkeling (cheap excursion), Beach Volleyball, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Shooting Range, Archery and lots more! This is a great hotel to escape with a good price tag, you are definitely getting your money's worth with a trip to Blau.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Verry happy for goin i will go back

I read a lot on this Hotel forums and all and what a surprise it was better . I travel 10 to Cuba and for the stars it given you get A LOT . The grounds are very clean dito for the pools . Beach is nice its not varadero but way better then St Maarten. The staff all were very good and on the ball everything went perfect . Foos is not a probleme there everything i had was great .

The beach was beautiful and we'll kept. A little rocky but nothing you couldn't avoid since the water was so clear. Tropical fish off the beach with or without bread. Resort was quiet but still had fun. Food was okay we figured out what we liked. The bacon was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Great drink variety.

Blau Varadero: A FaBLAUous Time

Wonderful stay...no real complaints...hotel rooms are simple but nothing bad...food was good, always found a choice...wished bars made drinks using blenders rather than direct ice mixes...also beach bar was not in service due to staff shortage (was told that from staff)...beach beautiful...did encounter situation with lounge chairs bring reserved very early in morning (6am)...wished towel place was open later...animation staff friendly...Overall superb Lots of smokers :((

Blau Varadero: Still very good

The Blau is still a very good resort and the lobby bar staff would put most Canadian bar staffs to shame. They work extraordinarly hard. I would be curious see the count of how many drinks are served each evening. The ambience of the 14 storey atrium hotel is very impressive. But if you're looking for Cuban ambience you won't get it. It's much more like a North American hotel. Overall a very good place to vacation but it's troubling to see some very key members of the staff leaving. Including t [... read more]wo major players on the guest relations staff. And a couple of key customer service bartenders. And there seems to be no plans to expand from the only 2 Ala cartes. It's as if senior Blau management feel since they operate at 95 per cent capacity there is no need to improve.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: nice

The hotel was nice large many building, only one Buffet not a lot of variety. People friendly, but more to men then women I found. A la carte were great, service great. beach was full of stones and shells but water was amazing. beautiful weather.

Nice pools, The resort was not congested at all. Not lot of variety but food is very good. Staff was very friendly always swilling to help. The location is good. It is hard to find taxi during night hours.
