Riu Dunamar: Pretty nice! Great pool, good food, not great beds.
It was pretty good! The food was pretty good and the pools and beach were great. One of the servers at the buffet, Maria, was AMAZING! She was so happy and kind the whole time. The beds were very small and very uncomfortable though. The bathroom also had an annoying window where everyone could see you shower and the light would shine so bright in the night through it that we couldn't turn it on because it would wake everyone else in the room. They also didn't have blackout curtains so it was pre [... read more]
Occidental Tucancun: it was ok
beach was beautiful not a big selection of food to sum it up you get what you pay for price was reasonable great location paper cups all loungers with no chairs to sit in around the pools but the drinks were good
The Pyramid Cancun: Wonderful Resort
Recommend Pyramid vs Oasis. Food and amenities are amazing this way with access to many high end restaurants. They don’t advertise VIP status for Pyramid clients. Find rep to discover. There are many food huts for easy eating all day. Ocean clean but mostly red flags. Could have more chairs. Many pools. Much entertainment at all times. Wouldnt offer two beds just a king. Comfy bed and room.
NYX Hotel Cancun: Fantastic hotel nyx
Well greeted as we arrived. Food is fantastic. The rooms are clear entertainment was very fun. Beach service was excellent. We were there 4 times and we are going back for our fifth fantastic little hotel.
Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Good resort
It was a pretty good hotel. Food was great. The only improvement would be more adult quiet spaces and also more shaded beach chairs. Also, some better evening entertainment options would be nice. Perhaps have a little relief from kids.
Krystal Grand Cancun: Amazing trip!
My partner and I spent 7 days over the Christmas break at Krystal Grand Cancún and it was absolutely amazing! Both of us are vegan and the staff were so accommodating and prepared special meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We never went hungry and were completely satisfied with the food options Jacobo prepared for us. The restaurant supervisors, Luisa and Josias took very good care of us and were attentive to all of our needs and dietary restrictions. We loved seeing them each day. You could [... read more]
Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf and Spa: Beautiful Resort!!!!!
This was the most beautiful resort I have ever been to. Service was excellent. Staff was very pleasant, friendly, professional. Would love to go back and would highly recommend my friends and family. Location of the resort was only 45 minutes from the Cancun airport. Beaches were very clean, white and water was blue and clean.
Riu Palace Kukulkan: Beautiful hotel
The Riu was well-appointed, easy to get around. The staff were exceptional from the reception to housekeeping. They knew their job and did it well. Our room was kept clean and neat. I did find that the buffet was really lacking in variety. I like when there is a carving station or someone making fresh pasta. There were too many creamy sauces. The acoustic in the main lobby bar was so loud! Our room was beautiful accept that we heard the traffic on the main road. ( we were facing the beach). [... read more]
Secrets The Vine Cancun: Good choice
I absolutely love the care and attention to details from the very first minute you get in this hotel. Service is amazing. NO all inclusive bracelet!! It’s my favourite part. And the turndown service ?♀️it was beyond amazing. Now, they should inform us that not all restaurants are open every night for dinner. Yes no reservations but LONG LINES AND VERY SLOW SERVICE. Dinner takes more than 2 h. If you are not in line by 17:30 you won’t eat until 8 pm at least. I would like the buffet option for [... read more]
Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Perfect for young families
We recently went on a week long trip to the SeaDust Family Resort. This resort was on a beautiful white sand beach (no seaweed or rocks - pristine). The rooms were nearly sound proof which was essential for travelling with a baby and toddler. There was a buffet that had decent food and options but the real star of this resort was the “Cactus” lounge which offered “healthy grab and go” foods as well as a self serve coffee/cappuccino bar that we could access 24/7, which again was very helpful when [... read more]
Riu Cancun: Great time at Riu Cancun!
We stayed at Riu Cancun in January and had a lovely time! This hotel is 25 minutes drive from the airport. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a drink and the front desk staff were lovely. All food and drinks were very good. Buffet had lots of options. We never had to wait for a table and there was 6 in our group. We never felt un safe in this resort. Front desk staff let us know if we need anything that they will get it for us. "Riu Parties" were off our resort at the Riu Caribe down [... read more]
Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Cheap trip
Overall you get what you pay for. For the price I would say it matched the resort. Had a few pools but they are not heated. Pools are clean though. Little lacking in lawn chairs but they do maintenance on the ones they do have which is good. They were cleaning the sarcasm off the beach daily. Buffet was geared towards Mexican but could always find enough to eat. Breakfast was decent with an omlette bar and fresh made waffle bar. Rooms were ok. King size bed was comfortable and they brought so m [... read more]
Paradisus Cancun: Resort needs attention
Grounds , public areas and hotel overall design is wonderful . Rooms were outdated and badly needed some loving care as well . Improved house- keeping . Hot water supply was inadequate. Guest Services were friendly but not resourceful or empowered. Food was good . Service staff very friendly in dinning area, pool and all around
Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: not even close to a 4 star
When we first checked in they tried to down grade us, since we have never been there before. We paid for a club room. After we said thought the club rooms were on the 6th floor. We got the room and no safe was in there or the other things that go with the club room. We changed rooms the next day. Only seen 2 pools. Said they have 7 restaurants but only 6, and only 2 open at a time. One never opened. One was open once and that was the Barn and the best meal we had. The buffet was not open ever n [... read more]
Riu Latino: Relaxing,fun hotel
This resort is immaculate every where, the staff are seen cleaning and ground keeping constantly. The food was great as usual for a Riu.The only downside I could see is that there weren’t enough bathrooms around the resort, with many having long lines as there weren’t enough bathrooms only two stalls in most. Otherwise we would definitely go back!
Sun Palace Hotel: Would go back!
This resort is on the smaller size which personally I loved. The food in every restaurant was top notch. Another bonus is how close it is the the airport. There was a variety of musicians in the bar and at the pool each day.
Krystal Grand Cancun: Great location
The hotel is solid 4 star, great location and beautiful beach. Room had odor and could use some upgrades but everything works fine. Service was excellent at most restaurant except the beach. Specially the buffet, they were so accommodating and helpful with all our request. Thank you to Luisa she really took care of our family. She made sure she checked up on daily, and requested special food for our toddler who wasn’t feeling well. We can’t thank her enough. Room for improvement - the hotel [... read more]
Moon Palace Cancun: A wonderful family stay at Moon Palace Nizuc!
This hotel has more that anyone should ever need to experience a week of pure rest and relaxation. We stayed at the Nizuc location and I am very happy that we did. It was less busy than the Sunrise location yet we were still able to access all of the amenities of both locations. The pools are wonderful and there was always lots of room to find loungers and lots of clean towels available. The beach was a bit of a disappointment as the ocean was quite murky - but that could have been the time of y [... read more]
Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Amazing vacation
The hotel was clean and the staff was always smiling and helpful. The buffett had a great selection with stations that made omelettes, hamburgers, tacos, etc. We went to the Mexican and Italian and Japanese restaurants, the last one was my favourite. Travelling with a group of 16 (adults and children) could have been an issue but we all had a great time.
Breathless Cancun Soul: Horrible resort
Nothing good to say Sexually harrased by gay man 6 times Hotel Did nothing Horrible entertainment and beach not worth $6200 I won’t recommend it to anyone . If you travel with a guy friend ur labeled gay. It’s a swingers resort . Horrible experience . Wished you had told me That it’s a swingers resort
