Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Excellent Resort

This was the nicest all-inclusive resort that we have stayed in. Beautiful grounds and gardens, immaculately maintained and very clean. The food and service was excellent with 6 restaurants and 4 pools. The beach is beautiful soft white sand and great for swimming. The only downside was that you couldn't walk very far on the beach. I would highly recommend it.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Coconut Bay is a piece of paradise

Fabulous vacation, went Feb 5 to 14. The facility was excellent and has so much to offer. It was a bit windy some days, but the breeze was refreshing. The entertainment crew was outstanding, Sam and Jay J, kept everyone entertained and encouraged people to get involved at their events. The food was great, but we did not take advantage of the a la cart, but heard they were great. The main restaurant and beach bars gave lots of options. The adults only breakfast on the terrace was fabulous, we ate there 3 mornings. Kenny, Carlos and Asha, at the restaurant were very friendly and efficient. We did 2 tours, Land and Sea, and the Rainforest, all booked through the resort, Catherine was very informative. The tours were informative and a lot of fun, the tour guides were excellent. Highly recommend this resort.

Everything was excellent except the rooms are old and no sports activities in the facility. The staff are wonderful, friendly,accommodating and pleasant to talk to except for the air transit holiday rep.

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Just as great as it was 3 years ago!

Our group of 13 adults loved the resort. We've been travelling to the caribbean for decades and this is the first time we have ever returned to the same resort... we were that impressed the first time, and we will likely return again. The rooms are clean, beds are extremely comfy (not the hard mattresses you typically see down south), grounds are well kept, and the beach is amazing with plenty of loungers in the shade and the sun. Not too big and not to small, the night life shuts down at midnight which was OK by us. They had a good mix of entertainment, and the Wednesday night Beach Party was a wonderful surprise from the last time we stayed here. We took the Joy's Adventure Tour (sign up by the sports hut on the beach) agin this year and it was even better than the last time. The only complaint I have is that we should have stayed longer than 7 days.

St. Lucia is a beautiful place to visit and I would highly recommend it! The resort was very nice as well as most of the people! If you want a tour, go through Joy and ask for Von! It's an amazing experience! There isn't much nightlife on the resort but we did our own thing!

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Perfect Vacation

Weather was great. The food was the best, the everyday smorg was very good and the elicart's were fantastic. The rooms were very clean. The staff from the grounds keepers to front desk very friendly and help full. The nightly entertainment was good and the beach party was great. We went on a boat tour with Joy's tours had a great time. You will not be disappointed going there. My wife and I will definitely go back again.

Coco Palm: A Little Gem

We really enjoyed our stay at Coco Palm. It was a boutique style hotel with a nice size pool that always had chairs available. Although it was not on the ocean, it was just a short walk down a side street to Reduit Beach. The staff were wonderful and we felt like we were always treated with kindness and respect. We had a Gardenview room on the 3rd floor overlooking a mountain and local houses. The rooms on that side are quieter than Poolview so could be better especially on the weekends where the partying over on the next street in Rodney Bay can get a bit loud. But the poolview rooms were lovely as well. This hotel is quiet and doesn't have an animation team around the pool or anything like that. There was some entertainment on weekends. Overall, we recommend this hotel for anyone who would like to explore the area around Rodney Bay, and the West Coast in general. St. Lucia is possibly the most beautiful place in the world! We will go back!

Just returned home from a great 7 day vacation at St.James Club Morgan Bay. I have been on many trips in the Caribbean, and St.James Club had the best food and variety of food that I have experienced to date. Quite a drive from airport 1 hour and 20 minutes. Great cafe, we visited that many times. The view from the hilltop pool was spectacular. Plenty of lounge chairs everywhere. Nice beach, clean sand. Staff were very friendly, with the exception of the very first person that we met at the check in desk, he commented that we were butting in line, when they had 2 people at the desk and we were the next people, we were tired from traveling and were not familiar with there procedure, which seemed to be slightly disorganized. Truthfully everything was wonderful not many children, more middle aged crowd. Entertainment, wasn't the strongest point for St.James Club. They did have various activities such as pool aerobics, and salsa lessons etc. Courtesy carts available as there are many levels and hills on the property. Nice tennis courts, gym room, kids club, pretty much anything you need. The gift shop was a little pricey, but alcohol for duty free was reasonable. Wifi available in lobby and bar area. Very short rainfalls everyday, perhaps 3-5 minutes long. A nice variety of off site activities to select from. Visit the Pitons they are spectacular. Overall, a very nice relaxing vacation and many wonderful photos to remember it by. A true 4 star for sure.

Coconut Bay situated in St Lucia is a wonderful resort to vacation. My children, grandchildren and my husband and I enjoyed our one week stay immensely. The food and rooms were very good for the very reasonable price spent. 5 minutes from the airport is a bonus! The most important fact to know is that the staff is absolutely outstanding! Rex Papillon: Great resort

This hotel was smaller then any of the other hotels we have been too. But smaller was just what we needed. The rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and easy to approach if we had any question. The food at the buffet was pretty good, but could use a little more of a variety. Bay Gardens Hotel: Bay Gardens Hotel

The hotel staff was friendly from the moment we arrived. Gorgeous flowers around the property. The rooms were very clean and fresh. We enjoyed our stay very much as well as the beach at their sister property the Bay Garden Beach Resort and Spa a 15 minute walk or 5 minute shuttle ride away. We would definitely go back!

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Perfect family vacation

This resort is definitely special and unique. Well laid out with kids in mind and plenty of activities to keep them happy while also catering to parents and helping them to relax. Staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. The food was amazing. Although the hotel was at capacity it seemed half empty because of the massive property, number of things to do and relatively low number of rooms (vs property size).

Rex St Lucian: Beautiful beach and wonderful staff

We were very pleased with the service and food provided by the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious and there was always a alot of different options to chose from. The majority of other guests were 60+ in age, so there isn't much of a 'nightlife' at the resort, but there the bartenders were very friendly and let us play our own music. Overall a lovely trip!

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Great Family Resort

The hotel had a great flow to it. The facilities accommodated everyone with ease. No lineups, no looking for a place at the beach or pool. The food and diner and parties by the pool were very well done. The restaurants were amazing.

Coconut Bay Resort & Spa: Incredible Resort

We arrived at Coconut Bay on January 26, 2017. Have never been to any hotel or resort where the service was so seamless. We landed at the airport and less than an hour later, the kids were swimming in the pool. We waited less than 10 minutes for our rooms...amazing! The food is fantastic - including desserts, the service is exceptional (we had a problem with a/c and maintenance was there within 10 minutes) Pool is beautiful and the kids loved the lazy river. Certain areas are slightly fatigued but updates are in the works...immaculately clean though. Overall, best experience we have had so far and we've been many places (Antigua, Grenada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Jamaica, Portugal etc.)

We took our family of 8 to Coconut Bay for a weeks vacation and cannot speak highly enough about the resort. First the welcome we received, with no hassle registration was astounding. We have never had such a breeze in registering in other resorts - it was a long frustrating process but not at Coconut Bay. Staff were exceptionally friendly, one and all, without exception. Moving to "stations" is something every resort should do. The bbq at noon outside was great as well. In other resorts, first thing in the morning you had to go to the beach or pool and put your belonging down to claim a lounge. No so at Coconut Bay. With about 94% occupancy rate we never had a problem getting a lounge at the pool. facilities are exceptionally well maintained, grounds clean and inviting.

Carol Williams from Trip Central was very helpful and informative😊. Thank you! Resort and rooms were meticulous. Management was very accommodating by relocating us from the hilltop room to a oceanfront due to my wife's mobility issues. Very friendly staff and always smiling😊.Food generally too spicy for us (good authentic variety) but we didn't starve. Unfortunately, you couldn't get anything to eat after 10:30. Drinks were abundant. The only issue with drinks, as a Canadian, would have  [... read more]appreciated rye whiskey, especially when the resort was at least 60% Canadian. Beach was very small and no place to snorkel, until you went on the catameran. The non-motorized water-sports were free (banana boat, sailing, kayaking, water skiing, paddle board).

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: Wonderful St James Club

We stayed at St. James Club Morgan's Bay from Jan. 19-26 in a One Bedroom Ocean Suite. I did extensive research prior to choosing this resort and my vacation met my expectations completely, perhaps even exceeding them in some areas. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. The room: Perfect! Exactly what I expected. I did ask for a high floor and we were on ground, but the view was still picture perfect so maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Note there is a mini fridge but they are not st [... read more]ocked so we went to the supermarket prior to checking in and purchased our bottled water and other drinks to have on hand. True there is a walk down/up a hill, but we quite enjoyed the stroll to & from our suite to be honest. WiFi available in our suite but at a cost. We did not purchase as it is available for free in the lobby. The food: Perfect! Simply delicious. We enjoyed Palms, Bambou, Morgan's Pier, Treetops, and Plum Tree. All excellent quality food and great service. We did not dine at Le Jardin only because we enjoyed the others so much decided not to pay the surcharge ($35 per person). Never felt obligated to tip. The drinks: Perfect! And great service. Quick and never felt obligated to tip. They also have a flag service for on the beach which is a definite plus. The beach: Never had any issue finding loungers. The only downside, if you will, is the water is a bit murky and stepping through some seaweed getting in. Also there are nipping little fish that bite you. We only discovered this, on our last day but to be honest it was kind of amusing after a few drinks. Pool: We are beach people so did not use the pools. The main pool looked clean and inviting with a pool bar. They also had a smaller adults only pool and bar area that was quite inviting. The hotel has a ton of included watersports. We did not partake but saw many people enjoying the facilities -- windsurfing, water skiing, paddle boats, kayaks. We are snorkelers and have gear, but did not attempt off the beach snorkelling here. Don't see how you could see anything in this water. We did the sunset cruise on the hotels Calypso Cat catamaran -- again fantastic experience. I would rate this resort overall 9/10.

Rex Papillon: clean & friendly resort, but needs improvements

The rooms were clean & the maid service very good. However, the shower either ran cold or boiling hot. There was no way to set it so that nice warm water came out. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang hand or bath towels. Our group had 3 rooms & all 3 were the same. In addition, all of our keys opened each other's room doors. The staff was very nice & polite. The activities were non-existent. At night they usually had different local bands which were ok but not great. The activities included aqua fit on tuesdays & thursday & a game called fisher prize which entailed using a fishing pole & a metal ring which had to be placed around the neck of a bottle. The entertainment director needs more imagination. There were few children there & this was the main game played daily - for the adults. There were no dance lessons or aerobics etc & no gym. the beach was nice but hard to enjoy as the waves were high. We had a red flag every day except for the day before we had to leave. We went on a catamaran tour which included a trip to the pitons, lunch, & snorkelling. However, no one came with you to snorkel & you had to swim for about 5 to 7 minutes to get to the reef without a guide or life jacket. I thought that was pretty lax nit to mention dangerous. What some had had a heart attack in the water. The point being that they did not orovide a guide or insist you wear a life jacket. The food at the snack bar was good but the service was very slow & found the server rude. You coukd not approach the counter & order what you would like but had to wait for the server.

Bay Gardens Inn: Quiet well run Inn

The people working here are GREAT. The Inn is as advertised, small, quiet but clean and everything that was advertised was delivered. Breakfast was very good. If I had to suggest anything - replace the 1970's hair dryer, build a shade spot around the pool or get more umbrellas. But for the price it was good.
