Grand Palladium Kantenah: Disappointed

Our first Air Transat all inclusive stay at the Kantenah 2 years ago was very enjoyable, as we were with a group of approximately 70 family and friends for a wedding celebration. This most recent vacation went very well until we arrived at reception. The room we were assigned had 2 double beds, which was not acceptable. We upgraded to a junior suite with a larger bed. Upon arrival at our room, we found it un-made, requiring cleaning from the previous occupants. We returned with our luggage to [... read more] reception and were eventually moved to another junior suite. Other than being tired and hungry from the day's travel, we finally got to our room at 10:15 pm. Everything went quite nicely for 2 days until we returned to our room at approx. 12 AM to find the bathroom and immediate area flooded from the 3rd floor above. Cosmetics and medications were ruined and everything else was soaked. Now it is 1AM and we are moving to another suite. Needless to say our vacation is losing some of the sparkle we had been anticipating. Other than talking to the customer service manager about our experience , we continued on with our vacation hoping for the best. We like the Palladium Kantenah and hope to return next December. I know we don't live in a perfect world, but the lack of concern was less than encouraging. We expected more from a five star resort. Disappointed!!

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort

The resort was well kept. All the staff were over friendly. Food was above average. We would definitely go back. Great for the kids. The river with the electric boats to take you around different spots of the resort is a unique great idea. Just need a few more boats.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Love this place!

This was our second time at this resort and we love it! It’s very clean, fantastic rooms, attentive staff, fabulous food, and absolutely gorgeous weather! The ocean, the pools, the free bar! The whole package is just wonderful. ❤️

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Very nice resort.

The grounds were spotless, the buildings were spotless. They kept everything nice and tidy. Service was super. All in all, a good place for a vacation. The staff was very friendly and quick to resolve any problems that you encountered in your room.

Grand Palladium Select Costa Mujeres: Tennis heaven

My wife and I enjoy playing tennis on a regular basis and the Rafa Nadal tennis center located in the resort was our main reason for booking it. We were not disappointed by the quality of their adult tennis programs. The staff at the tennis academy did a fantastic job running the Total Tennis adult program and provided many valuable training drills, strategies and tips during our five days program to help us improve our game. With regard to the resort, the hotel and grounds are beautiful, the  [... read more]food is good but not as good as other resort we have visited in the past. Food selection was the same during our 7 night stay. Staff service was great and the Beach is nice and powdery sand. This hotel has three categories TRS, GP and Family. If you stay at the GP section, be prepared to get rejected a few times during your stay. For example: GP guest will wait 30 minutes or more at a la carte restaurants because the GP section cannot make reservations for a la carte restaurants. On the other hand TRS and Family section can make reservation and get a table without waiting. Transportation within the resort is also divided. There are TRS golf carts and GP golf cart. TRS guest are able to use TRS and GP carts but GP guest can only use GP carts.

TRS Turquesa: excellent time in Dominican Republic

1st The palladium is a very nice resort. Friendly people. a good choice of restaurant. Famous landscaping Excellent transportation within the resort. TRS Turquesa: Not a 5 star

To start with the positives, all staff were friendly, especially the bar staff and the drinks were of premium quality. I went with friends and had a fun time. However, food was mainly cold and of not good quality and the service in some of the restaurants was bad or at least hit and miss from one day to the next. Rooms were old and worn, chipped furniture, mold in showers, filthy toilet door and bathtub, rusty bathroom fixtures and the mattress was awful, very uncomfortable to sleep on.  [... read more] The staff try, they try hard, but do not deliver. It took 6 days and numerous requests to various staff (and tips) to get wine glasses in our room, just to have them taken away again the next day and not replaced. Oddly the parties we went with had wine glasses in their room upon arrival. Some room features that were promised to be in the room, were just not. No 4 bottles of alcohol etc etc. Not a bad plce, but nowhere near a 5 star and not worth the money.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Very enjoyable Rivera Maya Vacay

We really enjoyed the Grand Palladium Resort. Three hotels in one compound. Lots of choices to eat, drink and swim. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were very clean and there was lots of wildlife on the pathways too.

TRS Turquesa: Wonderful resort!

The TRS Turquesa is a beautiful resort. The grounds are neatly manicured and trimmed on a daily basis. All the public areas are very clean. The rooms are really well cleaned and we were surprised to even see the public washrooms so clean with the traffic of people at the resort. It is the first time in a resort that we see the washrooms close to the pool and beach that clean. The maids came twice a day to clean our room and then prepare it for the evening. The employees such as waiters, butle [... read more]rs, etc, that we dealt with were very polite and always ready to help. One day, the WiFi of the hotel was not working and one of the animator allowed us to use his phone to do our check in for our flight the following day. The air conditioning was very cold in our rooms but we were able to control it since we each had an individual control. We heard that in other resorts the guests were not able to control the air conditioning. There are several pools available to the guests and a beautiful beach, so everyone was scattered throughout so we did not have the feeling that it was packed. There are several palapas available for those who want some shades at the beach and at the main pool. We could walk a long distance along the beach and see various resorts. They were no weeds in the water. The resort gave us the opportunity to dine in the other restaurants part of the Grand Palladium (GP) Group, so we had lots of variety. We did not have to reserve for the restaurants at the Turquesa but we had to reserve for the restaurants included in the GP Group. Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese Sumptuori, they were really generous with their food. Our second best restaurant was the El Dorado Steak House, the steaks were delicious. However, the beef in the other restaurants are not recommended since they are not tender and the meat is fat. There was a grill close to the beach so we could eat outside and still enjoy the sun. There was also a restaurant really close to the beach. Our favorite buffet was the Behique due to the variety of the food, warm food and quieter place than the other big buffet place. In some restaurants, we felt that the food was not warm enough and sometime overcooked. We were not bothered by any Travellers Club Sellers. We were asked only once to attend a session and we refused and they did not bother us after. This resort is very close to the airport; it took approx. 15-20 minutes with the shuttle to get to the resort from the airport. We would definitely go back to this hotel. There were some activities for those who wanted to participate and they were not too loud. We were able to rest and relax at the Turquesa.

TRS Coral: Gorgeous Resort - Service Not So Great

The resort itself was absolutely stunning. We stayed in a loft which was really lovely. We had a partial view of the ocean and a lovely view of the TRS section of the resort which is the main pool and buildings. The service however was pretty awful. Our butler Cesar was awful. He didn't bring us a bottle of champagne when we requested it on our first day or book our reservations for the a la carte restaurants. He ead the worst. TRS Turquesa: Nice Resort, Customer Service Could Improve

We stayed at Royal Suites Turquesa for a week in February. The place is lovely, food is good, but the people are not as friendly as was expected or experienced in other countries. Checking in and checking out should have been filmed for resort educational purposes on how not to do things.

TRS Coral: Loved it!

From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the whole team was ready to impress. The room was impressive and the attention to detail was staggering. The restaurants were full of great food. Pro tip: order the Piacere coffee cocktail at the coffee house. Couldn’t get enough of it! The guests were super friendly, too. I’d go back tomorrow if I could.

TRS Turquesa: Best vacation ever

Wow...where do i start! This resort is awesome. It was our second time here. We stayed for 10 days with a group of freinds! I want to give special recognition to my butler Yajaira and her team. Sandi and the team at the evening pool bar! And my maid Teresa Yan, who kept our room spotless and confortable. A typical day: Morning a la carte breakfast on the beach patio with a magnificent view of the ocean, with live music in the background. Wander down to the beach, easy to find chai [... read more]rs. The beach is clean, lots of palm trees and cabanas to sit under. Waiters bring you drinks! Wifi reception is great. Lunch time you wander back up to the pool. They served fresh grilled meats, fish (highly recomend the grouper) lobsters, shrimp, calamari...salades. you can bring your plate of food back to the beach and eat it. Later in the afternoon, they have live entertainment in the pool. So while you get ready for dinner, you can listen to amazing musicians play music while floating around on a platform in the pool. The blues rock guitarist was the best! Dinners were amazing! My butler Yajaira booked everything for us. BTW ..Yajaira is amazing. You are lucky if you are staying in block 52. We had champagne and bubble baths waiting as a surprise! Then we wander into the main lobby to enjoy a cocktail before dinner. OMG..oh my god! Try the the gin and tonic with cucumber! Delicious! Or the chocolate or expresso martinis. Best restaurant was Eldorado! Jose our server made it the best experience during our stay. The tomahawk steaks at Caprichi were amazing too! Late evenings at the pool bar! THE BEST! Sandi and guys were amazing. They keep the drinks coming and make the best shots...always freindly! Cant say enough about how hard Sandi and the guys work to ensure everyone is happy and having a good time. We met a lot of great people at the pool bar at night. Good times! Cant wait to go back! Grand Palladium Jamaica: Fabulous Place to Vacation

The gardening exquisite. The People beyond friendly and hospitable. The food..wow..what a variety. You will not go hungry and If you do. The chefs are more than happy to whip something up or find a special request on your behalf. The resort is absolutely beautiful!

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Better than Expected

This Resort will not disappoint! It's Very large and there's something to do for everyone. Loud party pool. Quiet pool, large beach. Always lots of chairs/spots to choose from. There are many great restaurants to choose from and the majority don't need a reservation. That was very convenient. We had a Romantic Villa suite with an outdoor shower which was amazing. I would totally recommend! The only negative part for us was the buffet. The food wasn't hot enough and the bacon in the AM was never [... read more] cooked enough. Other than that, we will definitely be back to this resort.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: You need to be in good shape

Its a nice Place but would not go back again too many Stairs and had to change room because they could not fix AC unit and room in lower area the WIFI did not work well. we had the Air transit Imperial club package and only got turn down service tell we had to move rooms on day two of our trip

TRS Turquesa: Fantastic resort to go

Well we’re do I begin from the moment we arrived at the resort we were welcomed with drinks and was checked in fast. We went up to our room witch was fantastic fruit tray wine in bucket. Our conceige was amazing she went above and beyond for us. She filled our tub with flowers bubbles candles and champagne fantastic place to go.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Relaxing vacation

The hotel grounds were beautiful, well kept. There are beautiful views of the ocean from all over. Alcohol selections were superb. Great variety of food at buffets. A la carted good, Except with the first come first serve, it’s a bit difficult to plan your night if you have to wait hours for a table. Everything was very clean.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Grand Palladium

Great areas to relax was nice seeing the animals daily and the food was very good. Also was cool seeing the whales offshore from the pool and beach. The resort is a great size which makes easy to find your way around

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Great resort!

We stayed at Grand Palladium White Sand Resort for our winter getaway again this year. The food is really high quality and we particularly like the number of restaurants between the three resorts to choose from. Restaurant reservations are not required aside from the Japanese and Seafood restaurants, which is great and allows us to leave the clock behind in true vacation style. We really enjoy the Thai restaurant and visited twice during our ten day stay. The beach area is good although quit [... read more]e rocky in front of the White Sand part of the resort. Mexico is dealing with seaweed issues I guess, and many of the days staff were "bailing up" the seaweed with tractors along the water's edge. I'm not sure why, but this issue seemed to lessen later in our trip and we were easily able to take our long walks on the beach each afternoon. The junior suite is very comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed the large jetted tub and cozy King bed. Unfortunately, both times at this resort I became sick with "traveler's revenge" so would recommend visiting your doctor for something before you travel.
