Sandals Dunn's River: Run, don't walk!

This is one of the nicest resorts I've ever been to. No wrist bands, no towel cards, free safes, twice daily maid service, tons of shade all day long, cooling spritzer service at the beach and pool, drinks are brought to you so no waiting at the beach or pool bars. Premium liquor like Grand Marnier, Skyy Vodka, etc. The grounds are stunning, the rooms have super comfy beds with decadent feather pillows and the food is totally wonderful. For those with pain or limited mobility, you will easily navigate this resort successfully. 1.5 hours away from the airport , small but gorgeous beach that's free from vendors. Awesome vacation is awaiting you. So run, don't walk!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: Great Vacation

We stayed at Grand Palladium Jamaica Spa. Our friends stayed on the other side, Lady Hamilton. To keep it simple, I will use point form. 1-Clean hotel. 2-Clean room. We did have trouble with our patio door not locking, fridge not cool enough and shower leaking. However, a stop into the front desk had someone up in our room quickly and everything was resolved with no more issues. 3-Huge resort. If you have issues with walking, you will have problems. There are 2 elevators, at the end of each s [... read more]ide. You still have to walk a lot to get to anywhere. 4-Food. Fantastic!! Very flavourful. Decent variety. I don't understand how the Mexican restaurant ran out of Guacamole or the sports bar ran out of Jerk Chicken. 5-Beach-The best beach Sandy Cove, very hard to get to if you have problems walking. Very steep hill to get down and climb up to get to the washrooms and drinks. 6-Staff. Overall very friendly and helpful. The spa people are annoying. As you walk along the lower level by the buffets, they offer their services. I stopped to ask a question about beads and next thing I know, I'm signed up for a full head, with no cancellation options. I was very annoyed with that. On the day of, I wasn't feeling well and the lady who booked me was able to cancel me, but only because she was the one that wrote the ticket up. DO NOT sign for anything in the hallways. 7-Pools-I only went to the main pool but LOVED it!! Its huge! Overall, I would recommend this resort and may return. Jamaica is a beautiful country and the Grand Palladium was a great place to experience it.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Amazing resort

It was our first time in jamica. We had wonderful experience. Quality of service is very good. Food was very testy. Sunset beach was the best pleasure at all.we spent wonderful time and definetly coming back.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: "Stay Away" Bay!

Just returned from a repeat visit to the "not so luxurious" Don Pablo. Having been two years ago and enjoyed immensely, we were anxious to return. Very disappointed with our stay this time. No indication of the level of construction taking place provided on their website. Also no indication of what to expect provided by the Transat site or Trip Central for that matter. Had we known we would definitely have planned an alternative resort for this trip. Upgrading to the Don Pablo is a waste of mone [... read more]y at this time as you are staying in regular rooms, with a view of massive construction that operates 24/7. If you like to listen to heavy equipment running from 7 am till 6 pm, then this is the place for you! Not to mention the construction floodlights that you will be staring at from your balcony all night long. We have been 7 time Bahia guests at several of their resorts, and unfortunately this experience has left us with enough regret that we will be no longer considering the Bahia brand for future holidays.

Rooms on the Beach Negril: Great resort

Everything was great, Small quiet, clean, neat hotel. There were small things could be improve. There was no soap in the bathroom. The breakfast suffered some shortages. We took the trip recommended by the agent. The guide was knowledgeable and everything according to trip schedule.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Fun-Filled Resort!

We stayed at the Iberostar Resort (Beaches) in Jamaica the first week of Nov/15. Our stay was wonderful. The rooms were a fair size and well kept! The hotel itself was beautiful. Not too large and not too small !! Lots of choice to sit & relax and/or socialize with our group whether on the beach, by the pool or in all of the relax areas set up in the hotel itself. They made sure our diverse group signed up for the best excursions for all! Restaurant staff were wonderful and always accommodating (There was 7 in our group so nice to always have a table made readily available for us!) Food was delicious.. I can't remember a meal I did not enjoy.. my favorite was the Japanese Restaurant (of course with a Jamaican twist.. which I thoroughly enjoyed!) however my husband and other group members insist the buffet was the best!! :) The only (small) criticism I would mention is that the beach was not as beautiful as I would have liked. :( There was a lot of seaweed that I could have done without! haha But overall a big thumbs up for this resort. My family and I plan to revisit as soon as possible! Miss it already!

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Perfect getaway

Small, quaint, clean hotel. Hardworking & friendly staff. Great location & beach. For the price of this hotel people whine & cry need to have their head read! Enjoy Jamaica it is a beautiful country. Wife & I will be back.

Sandals Dunn's River: Jewel holiday

The staff were amazing Oneida jelly the spritzer girl st pool and also Chris the waiter at pool were all so friendly and helpful. The room service policy after we upgraded to diamond . We were told we had 24 hour service . When I requested coffee at 6 am as I am an early riser I was told I could not get coffee till 7 am but we could get a hamburger at 3 am but no coffee at 6am does not make sense. I would return to the jewel for another holiday hoping that will change.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fantastic Vacation

Absolutely beautitful resort. Grounds are well kept. Great pool to lounge around in. Plenty of sunbeds, both at the pool and the beach (in November). Awesome staff who were always smiling. Small beach, which was a little disappointing. There are some areas that have rocks, so you have to be careful in the water. Beautiful large rooms. The food was very good. Lots of selection at the buffet. The a la carte restaurants were great. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation.

Sandals Dunn's River: Amazing vacation!

I just got back from this resort on Friday. I went with my boyfriend and we spent a week there. It was so awesome! Staff was so kind and friendly and we never had an issue. Lots of food options, Jade was awesome! Met lots of cool people, overall had a great time! Only thing that kind of sucked is the second pool area including the piano bar was closed down November 3 for three weeks for construction. Would definitely recommend!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: GREAT RESORT

GREAT RESORT GROUNDS IN GOOD SHAPE.STAFF WAS GREAT AND FOOD WAS GOOD.NIGHT SHOWS WERE NOT THAT GOOD,ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND LOOK AFTER EVERY DAY.POOLS AND BARS WERE CLEAN AND EXCLEANT SERVICE AT ALL BARS.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Everything you could want in a Carribean resort.

This resort is rated as a three star however almost everything about it was a five star. Clean, courteous staff, excellent facilities, gorgeous beaches. The only piece that was not five star was the food. It was repetitive and many items were in short supply.

This is hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever travelled to. The Staff are so friendly. Always going out of their way to make you happy. The pools were always clean. The Dining Room was always so elegant for dinner time.

Dreams Rose Hall: So much fun. Staff are top-notch

The lazy river and watersides were a hit. Kept the kids busy all day. Well maintained grounds and pool kept clean and safe with a very capable lifeguard team (Rollin and Mendal are great). Restaurant staff are so friendly and made every meal a fun experience (Dowayne, Alwayne, Denny, Lee-Andrew). Food is very good and Caribbean night is the best. Close to the airport but not noisy.

Sandals Dunn's River: Great Place!!

A nice size. Easy to get around. Lots of helpful staff especially the entertainment staff (Happy Feet). Rooms were not huge but very clean and the bed was comfy. Great food especially in the Platinum restaurant. Order the Platinum steak and shrimp. YUMMY!

Sandals Dunn's River: Small but wonderful resirt

This resort is very small so do not expect to have walks on the beach. It can be done in a couple of minutes. What this resort lacks in size makes up for with its staff. Everybody is very friendly and helpful. Always smiling and singing. The staff get to know the people and it's fantastic! The food is excellent, the service is superb. The room was immaculate. The biggest downside of this resort was the regular pressure from the Spa women to book a service. Expect to be approached several time [... read more]s a day.

Loved the location, the staff and the food was. Excellent. Close to Dunn's Rivers Falls if you wanted to do a DDT trip. Loved the Beach, no one bothering you selling trinkets. Loved that it was non smoking. Would return again

Had an amazing experience at the Jewel Dunns River Resort. The resort was amazing. The staff were the friendliest, most hospitable people. They truely made the trip for us. Food and service were top notch.

Sandals Dunn's River: Beautiful Resort!

The Jewel Dunns River Resort was a beautiful place to stay. The grounds were always kept spotless, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, food was fantastic, beach was small but nice and bar service was very fast! There was always a lot of entertainment during the day- games by the pool, snorkling,kayaking, paddle boating, darts,chess, shuffle board, golf and more! There weren't many shows, just the same band played every night but it was still a great place to be. The rooms were so nice and always stocked with fresh towels- twice a day!! Flyers were put in your door every night so you always knew what was going on the following day. It was an amazing resort and I would definitely recommend it :)
