Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Very Nice Resort

Would go 4.5 if the option was available. Very nice hotel and grounds. Great staff. Minor problems with mini bar stocking at the start which were rectified quickly. Could use more loungers and shade makers on the beach but that issue is more a result of inconsiderate guests. All in all an excellent holiday destination.

WE TOOK OUR FOUR CHILDREN TO THIS RESORT THIS YEAR, AGES RAGING FROM 10 TO 21 YEARS OLD, WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME, THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND THE NIGHT "SHOW TIME" ENTERTAINMENT WAS THE BEST WE SEEN IN A LONG TIME(ROCK & ROLL SHOW WAS THE BEST), THE RESORT HAD PINK FLMINGOS, PARROTS, LARGE EGUANA'S, PEACKOCKS THAT FED FROM YOUR HANDS, AND WE ALSO SPOTTED TWO WILD PIGS ROAMING THE GROUNDS AT NIGHT?

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Perfect Trip

Just got back from a relaxing, entertaining and enjoyable trip. I can't say enough positive things about this resort. Everything was situated in a good location, the bars, the pool, the spa, the restaurants (food was excellent and large variety) and entertainment was exceptional. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. The Star Friends truly made the trip what is was. Enjoyed the enthusiasm and direct connections they made with the vacationers. This resort was amazing. The employees treat you like royality and family . The resort is absolutely gorgeous and impeccably clean. The food was fabulous. There is always something to do or just sit back and relax.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Great Beaches!

Me and my gf spent a week in Feb. The resort was very spread out, so be prepared to walk, however, the two beaches were beautiful and different from one another. The food was just ok but the service and staff were very nice. We stayed in the Park section and had no noise complaints and found the room to be quite nice and well kept.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Wonderful resort

We had a great time at this resort: the grounds are beautiful with a lot of vegetation and birds (peacocks, flamingos! and parrots), the food was very good with lots of variety and the service excellent. Most of the night time shows were fun (there were maybe two misses). The beach is very rocky but there is a long deck from which we could get into the water and meet the fish. Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Amazing Vacation!!!

The grounds are stunning, the rooms were always clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The beaches are beautiful, the pools are always clean and everything is conveniently located around the resort. The entertainment staff are all wonderful and they have a lot of activities for you to do if you don't want to lay around all day. Surprisingly the food is actually good here. There is a lot to choose from so you're bound to find something you like even if you're a picky eater. The h [... read more]ouse red wine is fantastic ( I didn't try the white), and I would recommend the Cuban and Japanese a la cartes. I wouldn't recommend the Mexican and the Romantico and Italian were just ok. I got lucky to try all 5, but you usually get to try 3 if you're staying 7-9 nights. We did the jeep excursion which is super fun but bring small gifts for children if you can. We also did the trip to Havana which was absolutely stunning and informative. I would highly recommend this excursion. All in all the Iberostar Laguna Azul did an extremely fantastic job at making our stay memorable and enjoyable. I would definitely return to this resort.

Very nice resort with beautiful grounds that are well kept! Beach is amazing! The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to assist you. Rooms could use a little upgrading. Food not so great. Breakfast best meal of the day!

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely hotel , staff very friendly and helpful , food fresh and good flavor , junior suites very spacious and comfortable, great beach areas , in general a great place for a relaxing holiday, even though children are allow one hardly saw them , they had a great program for them and an awesome swimming pool for them .

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Clean but not a 5 star.

Grounds were beautiful, the beaches breathtaking and the people were polite and hardworking. This was our 6th time to Cuba. We've stayed at the Iberostar Laguna Azul in Varadero which is considered 4.5 star and it is far superior to the Iberostar Ensenachos which is considered a 5 star. We were totally let down. The rooms were clean, however, it seemed that the minibar soft drinks were limited to "cola", only after the first day. We would have liked the sprite and orange as we are not cola drin [... read more]kers; but the gentleman that came every day would only say no, only cola. The food was the major disappointment. Starting off with the lack of labeling of what is on display. If you can't identify it visually, no way of knowing what was in that platter. The food was not cooked fully when you went through the grill. It takes more than 5 minutes to cook a piece of chicken, way undercooked. The food that was in the containers were never warm. We are not fussy eaters and have always found something to eat. That was not the case here. Bacon should not be served gray. It was never cooked properly. Also, I have never seen food that dripped with so much oil and grease that it made it almost un-edible. Sadly we will not be returning.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Fantastic Resort

First time to Cuba - very positive experience! Would definitely go back to the island and to this resort as well. All staff were so happy to share their culture as well as so helpful for anything we needed/asked about. Resort is very easy to get around in as all amenities are conveniently located. Buffet and a la cartes were tasty and the variety was great. Try this one out!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Good time!

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The Ensenaches beach was beautiful and we spent a lot of time in the water. My favourite thing was the gardens that lined all of the walks. They are well cared for and gave a sense of tranquility to the resort. I enjoyed their omelets, soups, freshly prepared meats and fresh fruit. I would give the hotel 4 in some areas and 3 in others.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Fabulous week!

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Laguna Azul. Hotel is very clean and well laid out. Main buffet had a very good variety of food which was nicely presented. The A la Carte restaurants serve very good meals and staff are very professional and pleasant. Very impressed with the selection of fish, meat, chicken, pork and vegetables and salad! Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Excellent choice

This vacation was a very positive experience. The hotel was great; nicely designed, with covered walkways from building to building if you chose. Facilities were terrific; we tried Japanese, Mexican and Brazilian a la cartes. Buffet was awesome as well... food overall was the best we've had in some time. We had lobster (Paella and Fideua dishes prepared on the beach), shrimp and lots of other seafood. Beef was surprisingly tender. Many pork, chicken dishes as well. Breakfast offerings were outst [... read more]anding. Best assortment of cheese I've ever seen at a holiday resort. Soft ice cream and popcorn were a nice touch at the poolside restaurant. Bar service was also great, beach bar, pool bar, swim up bar, lobby bar... they made it look easy and selection was plenty. There were orchid, mint and aloe gardens. Spa had complimentary Turkish baths available. Star Band was very good and the nightly shows were not at all disappointing (as they sometimes can be). Staff at all levels tried their best to make it a pleasure to stay here.

6th time to the Tucan/Quetzal and each time it seems a little better. An excellent resort to relax and the wildlife adds another dimension. Staff is always helpful and always seem to be smiling in their work

I - inviting, B - beautiful, E - enjoyable, R- restaurants, O - overall, S- swimming, T - tennis, A - awesome, R- relaxing. For my first time there, I must say everything was wonderful. Everyhing was great! Staff was very friendly, food amazing and the grounds and room were very clean. Will be visiting again. Great beach area too. The resort was full but you did not feel crowded. Lots of activities to get involved with if you wanted to.

Great selection of food and good variety at all meal times. Staff extremely friendly from housekeeping to front desk and restaurants. Love the wildlife - flamingoes, peacocks, parrots, cats, turtles, iguanas..... Relaxed setting with two storey units with wandering pathways.

This is an amazing resort. Very clean, staff so friendly, helpful. Food is excellent. Everything one would want is available. Restaurants all fantastic! Accommodations very comfortable, clean, ocean front a must. Multiple activities during the day and evening, or just relax quietly at the beach, pools or bars. Spa, game rooms, shopping all on site. Many water activities available. Beach cleaned daily.
