Hotel Playa Paraiso: Very comfortable resort

We liked that the Pestana was a smaller resort. We were in the 4000 unit which was away from the noise and close to the beach but it still was not a long walk to the buffet. The food was good but the restaurants were basically just a change of scenery. The beach is excellent, clean and we walked the whole length of the beach on a sandbar that was 50 feet from shore. Melia Jardines del Rey: Very nice resort

This resort really exceeded my expectations. It's pretty new and very clean. The entertainment throughout the resort was fantastic. There was something for everyone. The food was good for Cuba. Always plenty to eat and better than I've had at other resorts in Cuba. Pools were amazing. Staff were so nice and always smiling. I would definitely return to this resort.

Melia Cayo Coco: the best yet

This was the best holiday yet in CUBA, we have been to Holguin Cayo Coco and Varadero. Clean friendly, good food and exceptional service. We will return soon. And of course the beach absolutely amazing. Laurie and Marc

Melia Costa Rey: Pullman Cayo Coco

We were there March 3-10 2017. Great resort... especially the " Collections", a part of the resort for adults only. It features separate check in, concierge service, private pool,4 guaranteed a la carte restaurant reservations and free wifi ( one hour per person per day). Entertainment is the best we have seen in any resort in Cuba ( mostly in Varadero). Food is good. Service is excellent.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff were amazing, the food was great and there was never a lack of it. The only down side was the lack of hot water in the room during peak shower times. We would highly recommend this resort!

Melia Jardines del Rey: very good resort

nothing wrong to say about this resort....nice beach,clean room,staff are very friendly,no line up at the buffet and always found something good to eat...amazing place we loved it.....................

Tryp Cayo Coco: Needs renovations big time

Pool area was good, room was very worn,only had 3 restaurants to eat at as the rest where closed. Paid extra to eat at all and could not. Very upset as was a lose of money for a upgrade that was not provided. Very upset and would not ever go again.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: M for mediocre

Recently spent 7 nights at this hotel which was recently purchased by Portuguese and is quite nice with potential improvements re management of buffet ( mass feedings, tables not available, noisy) of pool area( lounges being tagged as mine by placing a towel or shoe on top from 7 am until when people decide to return- maybe a chair on beach as well) of beach area ( no beach chairs because some people double up on chairs by places one set in the mangroves which are shaded and the other set in the [... read more] sun) of the beach towels( they ran out). Overall the food was good, something for everyone. Staff pleasant and attentive. Entertainment every evening which was varied an enjoyable. Beach great. Only 1 pool. No palms on beach.

Melia Cayo Coco: Enjoyable week at the Melia Cayo Coco

We traveled as a couple to Cuba March 1 - 8th, staying at the Melia Cayo Coco. Had a relaxing time despite some cooler weather, one day of heavy rains, and then high winds on the beach which made it impossible to do the beach thing for about 3 days. We were in one of the Lagoon rooms- which we recommend as the room was very comfortable, with a view and private balcony area with lounge chairs. Rooms were kept very clean and overall the resort was clean and well maintained. Mature tropical la [... read more]ndscaping provided atmosphere. The food was excellent, but after 5 days, felt the buffet was a bit repetitive. We enjoyed the restaurant meals, especially the Italian and International. The only negative was the crowded pool area - not the hotel's fault but due to the weather and winds on the beach, the one pool had to accommodate too many guests. We did two off site activities- a concert nearby by the Buena Vista Social Club, which was one of the highlights and an all-day jeep tour also a good way to get off the resort and see Cuban reality. Sunwing Nexus tours provided excellent service for both of these events. The evening entertainment in the Lobby bar area of the hotel was absolutely amazing -- many talented musicians were highlighted every night. Overall a positive experience and would recommend this "adults only" resort.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Had a fantasic time

Very nice hotel. The beach is amazing. Everything was great including the food which was much better than we are used to in Cuba. What really made it special was the staff. Very attentive and extremely friendly.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Paradise

Thank you Cuba and the amazing staff at Memories Caribe at Cayo Coco. The only condition we hoped for was blue seas, palm trees, white sand beaches, some sun and a cool drink. Everyone at the resort went out of their way to make our stay close to perfect. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone as long as they keep an open mind and remember this is the tropics and we are here to try and experience other cultures. Hotel Vigia: Just ok

Grounds are nice beach is clean hotel staff very rude Gardners very nice food is ok wait staff ok I would not go back it was very windy rain and wind hardly no smiles from hotel staff don't know what else I can say long bus ride from airport

Melia Cayo Coco: Wonderful week away!

Excellent resort. Staff are beyond fabulous. Our room was immaculately clean everyday, lots of activities, the beach is great, buffet and specialty restaurant food was great. I recommend the reef for snorkelling. Lots of fish. We had some poor weather so on my next trip I will take some travel games.

Melia Costa Rey: 2nd time even better

We had a great week at the Pullman in Cayo Coco. Everything was top notch. The food is great. Not just for Cuba it was great. The staff is fantastic treating us like gold all week. We had a couple of stormy days but we enjoyed it all. The grounds are well kept although still growing in. Entertainment was great all week day and night. Fantastic talent on display. Sol Cayo Coco: nice resort

hotel was ok needs more entertainment for evenings food was good but could have more variety (everyday was same thing) lobby personel need to be more knowledgeable about emergencies. air canada rep needs to be more easily available (stay at hotel longer than 45min per day)

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great for families not for romance...

The resort it self was ok, to many rooms and not enough amenities (pool space, dining, bars) that said, if you are looking for a family vacation resort this is the spot. The staff are amazing; the beach is BEAUTIFUL*****, which in turn make up for some of the short comings. Everyone one complains about the food, towards the end of our week it did seem a little repetitious, but was far better than the last three times we've been to Cuba.

Hotel Playa Coco: great place to vacation

I found this resort to be very well designed for easy access to the beach, bars, and dining areas. The pools were well maintained daily. Drinks were very generous. Servers were very nice, as all peoples of Cuba are. The food was OK. They do the best they can ,with what they have available. Treat them with respect, and they reply in kind.

Hotel Mojito: Below Average Cuban Resort

The resort itself is 16 years old and it shows in a lot of areas including rooms, buildings and restaurants. We have traveled alot in Cuba and had an idea of what to expect saying that will not be returning to this resort anytime soon. This was our first trip to an Iberostar Resort and expected a level of service that we did not get, not even close. The food is what we expected for Cuba but the wait times in the buffet were anywhere from 20-30 minutes for pasta or the meat grilling stati [... read more]on. The food at the snack bar was suprisingly good but the service to get the food was very disorganized. You could only order through a waiter/waitress and at times was difficult. The overall customer service was poor and we're very disappointed.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: GREAT BRAND NEW RESORT

this place is awesome, people always complain about Cuba and Cuban food but this resort will definitely put those worries to rest. The food is amazing, the A La Carte's are unreal, and the overall vibe the staff and resort has is uncomparable. I have been to many all- inclusive resorts and I can honestly say this is a top contender. highy recommend staying here

Sol Cayo Coco: very friendly !! overall good experience

The hotel was nice , bathroom door was broken, found crabs and lizards in the toilet , food wasn't amazing but the staff were so friendly it was a really good time. Beach was absolutely beautiful!! Lots of events and we loved the nightly entertainment! ! Rooms were always so clean
