JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Best service and atmosphere ever

Beautiful, peaceful hotel and grounds, excellent staff and food beyond expectations. Everyone went an extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Smiles from dawn till dusk and great entertainment and dancing to finish our day.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Amazing Resort

Food was excellent, comfortable room, friendly people, great entertainment. It is a family orientated resort. Very safe for the children to walk around. If something was not good they would try to fix it as fast as possible. I would go again with my family.

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Iberostar Cancun

Beautiful Place with all the Amenities You could want Staff couldn't do enough for you Friendly and informative . Food good with enough variety for all Great Shows Golf Course super Beach was not overcrowded due to hotel's location. Easy bus ride to all shopping Museum etc Feel rooms could do with a refresh New Furniture paint but had all we needed Would return

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Great Resort

We stayed here for the 3rd time and enjoyed our self as usual. It was nice to see some changes like the Casino and the Star Cafe. The Food at the Bufffet was amazing, the a la cartes can use a bit of a change though. Trip Central made the process effortless, this was the easiest trip I ever booked. Our Agent Doug provided amazing service. Our Transat rep at the resort was a bit pushy, he called us (2) mornings in a row at 8:15 to book excisions. Other then that an amazing trip.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Best beach

We had a great time at this beautiful resort. Fantastic beach and water, good food, the friendliest people you will find and no paddlers on the beach! We will definitely go back! The resort is large but you never have to wait more than a couple of minutes for a golf cart to get you where your going.

Hotel Mojito: not great this time

Have been to mojito for the third time and found it just ok this time. Much more crowded this time and line ups for most things. Hotel in need of some repair and lack of toilet paper in the main bathrooms a little annoying. Also lack of soap and paper towels unacceptable. Staff are very hard working and friendly, always greeting you with a smile. They are the best thing about this hotel. Will probably not be back.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Treated like Royalyu

Beautifully situated right on the Ocean, surrounded by a Golf course, with everything/everybody needed to make your vacation perfect! My only recommendation, every room is exactly the same, other than the view, we were upgraded to the Jr Suite Ocean walkout, room 3003, other than our room having a walk out to the beach, patio with loungers, chairs, etc, protected by a surf wall, the room was the same size as others. By definition, a Jr. Suite should be larger. If you're questioning your decision, don't this is a great Resort!

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Great Jungle experience

Travelled to Iberostar Quetzal Playacar from Jan 27-Feb 3, 2015. This resort is twinned with Iberostar Tucan. The resort is beautiful. I have travelled to the Mayan Riviera at least 10 times and this resort is by far the most unique. Built around the Yucatan jungle, the resort offers you a brief glance of what it must be like to live and walk in the jungle. You walk down pathways (well lit at night) and meet up with peacocks, monkeys, flamingos, egrets and more. Quite unexpected. Waking up to bi [... read more]rds was heavenly. The jungle setting is what sets this resort apart from others in the area for sure. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff were friendly. Very clean, the staff are extremely prompt to clean your room and re-stock linens. The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows - we all know how most hotels you feel like you might as well sleep on the floor. I was quite surprised and actually slept well. Check in was painless. The check in staff were very friendly and we were offered a welcome drink too. I liked the fact that this hotel is on the smaller side so you don't have to fight for chairs at the buffet for breakfast or lunches. The beach was spectacular. Well maintained and never had to fight for a lounge chair and a palapa. The waves were great. A lot of activities for those who are inclined, from stretching to yoga to salsa lessons to archery to zumba on the beach with other water activities also available (for a fee of course). The drink ladies on the beach were great, always pleasant and remembered your name which is always a nice touch. The food was good but the food was often not hot enough. The best thing at the buffet for dinner were the tacos and the omelettes in the morning were great. The a la carte restaurants were ok (I've had much better) but reservations at 630pm or 700pm were tough to come by so recommend you make your reservations as soon as you arrive at the hotel or you will be eating at 9pm. The lobby bar makes great cappuccinos and the orange margueritas were awesome - my new favourite. I wandered the resort many times at night and never felt unsafe. The beauty of this resort is that it is located within the Playacar gated community. Many people own homes in the area and only those living in the area or staying at the hotel are permitted beyond the gates. A local shopping area is also within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely recommend the Quetzal to others.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: just amazing!

This was our 4 trip to the Riviera Maya. We stayed at amazing resorts in the past this was our #1 in Mexico so far. We were 4 adults and enjoyed it. Best beach in Mexico,staff were all friendly and food was good in all restaurant. Always something to do. Great entertainment. We did two tours ( tulum ruins, Xel-Ha park) both must do when there.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Wonderful resort grounds are beautiful

Beautiful resort.The rooms need a up date.The food was good and very relaxing vacation.We would go back to this resort.The grounds are well kept.The maid who clean our room was great and helpful.The pool open until 9:00p.m. for a night swim.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Another WOW Vacation at Iberostar-Grand Rose Hall

For the second year in a row, my daughter and I travelled to Montego Bay Jamaica and had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Iberostar - Grand Rose Hall location. While the weather in Montego Bay left a little to be desired the week we were there, the staff and facilities continued to be absolutely outstanding! Our butler Steven (with us both years) was amazing and is one of the reasons we look forward to returning next year! The food was outstanding both in the beach front buffet restaurant and in each of the a la carte restaurants we attend. Of special note for us was the surf and turf meal and the meals at the Japanese and Gourmet restaurants.....something everyone must experience! If you are reading this review, please give very serious consideration to vacationing here. You will Never regret the decision!!!

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Beautiful, Relaxing, "Excelente" resort!

We loved this resort...everything from check in to check out was fantastic. (Traveled January 24-31 2015 with husband, grandma and daughters ages: 13, 14, 17.) We were looking for a relaxing family vacation in the sun, and this resort does well to provide that. We especially appreciated the jungle with wildlife, and the comfortable laid back atmosphere. There are several daily activities planned and implemented by the Star Friends with something to satisfy all ages. These energetic Star Friends go above and beyond to greet you individually, and make you feel welcome. ALL of the staff went out of their way to make our vacation a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The entire resort is immaculately clean, rooms are adequate (we stayed in Quetzal basic), service is excellent, drinks and food are plentiful and appetizing. Anything regarding food or drink was honoured whenever possible. All requests or concerns we had were handled with professionalism and care. They are very accommodating with everything you ask. Every employee was friendly and helpful and they were ALWAYS working hard. The beach is absolutely perfect!

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Nice resort

Very large resort. Disappointed with towel service for our room. We had no towels for 2 days after repeated requests. Also, no water for 2 days due to major pipe bursting. Front desk staff not very helpful. Bank closed for 6 days with no money at the front desk to change. Ground keepers and pool/beach were very helpful and very nice.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Amazing vacation

The Iberostar hotel and the staff that work there were amazing. They went out of their way to please you. The service, food, entertainment, spa and the beach were wonderful. We will definitely return again.

Iberostar Origin Tainos: Underrated resort

My husband & I stayed at Iberostar Tainos from January 23rd to 30th, 2015. I can’t say much for the weather (it was windy, cool and cloudy for the most part) but, overall, we were very happy with our choice of resort. We travelled with my elderly mother & her friend so we were hoping for someplace quiet, intimate and compact. I’d say we found it. The resort itself was well maintained, conveniently laid out and had all the amenities that one would expect for a facility of this size. Our bung [... read more]alow room was clean and spacious (although a coffee maker & a clock radio would not go amiss here); the bed comfortable. The pool was central, adequately sized and surrounded by an adequate number of chaises. The beach was lovely – broad with lots of palapas to go around. The buffet was, as is often the case in Cuba, merely adequate. We were all, however, rather impressed by the quality of the a la Cartes (both Creole and Japanese). And the daily lunchtime barbeque by the pool, with a little mini-buffet and great Cuban music to aid the digestion was also a favourite. In truth, the best part of Ibertostar Tainos??? The people. The lobby and front desk staff were top drawer – helpful, warm and possessed of a great sense of humour. The maids were great and the wait staff at the pool bar (Julio, George & Maybi) really made us feel at home. I’d recommend this place to my friends on that basis alone.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Great Resort

We really enjoyed the Grand Iberostar Paraiso. The food, location, staff and shows were all excellent. Victor in the Italian Restaurant was very understanding of my dietary needs and Michael was great at being interactive with everyone around the pool and at the lobby bar.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: awesome

Excellent place to visit a had a very good time there the staff is terrific recommend for families and couples food is also very good rooms are average for the price I think is worth it beach is super clean I will be back

Hotel Mojito: Great vacation

The only drawback to this hotel is that rooms do not have balconies. Otherwise, great clean resort, well maintained. As for food, the usual, although desserts were great. However, as with all the Cuban resorts we have encountered (over 20) - poor food. Choices for diabetics (no whole grain bread, sweetened yoghurt, etc) . The extensive boardwalks were great for walking when it was high tide and the beach was flooded. At low tide the beach is amazing. Especially nice resort for children.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Within Expectations

Our first time in Cuba. Not a bad experience. Staff are friendly. Beach is lovely. Food was not amazing, and we didn't expect it to be. We were lucky to get an ocean-view room. The room itself was clean, although the shower smelled a little musty on day 1. The mini fridge is not filled daily, which was surprising.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Wonderful resort in all aspects!

Truly an excellent time in all regards! The staff stand out as very friendly and outgoing; especially the entertainment staff. Always busy but never too busy to stop and talk with you. The dining and buffet experiences were a highlight. Loved the arrangement of hotel rooms, close to everything. Have already told friends and will certainly do a return visit.
