I would like to say the overall experience with the hotel was great most staff are very friendly very informative. Our check in and check out however were NOT good experiences for 2 people we received 1 key card, we had an issue getting the 10 hours of internet with out getting a not so nice response, the ladies behind the desk seemed more interested in their private conversations or their personal phones. When travelling to Cuba it does need to be told that they only accept certain credit cards [... read more] as my sister in law and myself were left scrambling to add money to another (Canadian) based credit card. The food is okay same stuff almost daily. I did enjoy my time there and would return for sure, however again your first experience with staff is the door man and he was great but after that it is check in and again they were not very welcoming.

Memories Jibacoa: Great vacation

Food was good, grounds were well kept, lots of activities, very friendly staff, clean room, nice pool, wonderful beach with amazing view of the mountains right behind it. Would have preferred less smoking around the pool

Paradisus Varadero: Has Potential

Beach and pools were amazing , coffee was great , mixed drinks were limited and not very good , food was same thing everyday with no beef or pork , chicken and fish only protein, a la cartes were same as buffets pre much, toilet paper was available in public washrooms 25 % of the time , hand dryers didn't work and no paper towels to dry your hands , this resort has potential because of the location and grounds being so good

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Loved It!

We travelled as a group of 12. We had an amazing time. The beach was spectacular. Shallow waters but easy for swimming, wading and even snorkeling. Food was plentiful and lots of variety. Rooms were dated but clean and comfortable. AC always worked and lots of hot water and water pressure. Pools were clean and gorgeous. It was very windy when we went, which kept the "no see ums" down. There is only ham and cheese and fries and they often ran out for periods of time. Entertainment was good and they tried but resort was not busy enough perform the way they would have liked. Staff were good, most not overly friendly but we wonder if it is due to burn out. We had read many reviews before going and honestly I have nothing bad to say. It is a well maintained, small resort with the most amazing beach. This is definitely the right resort for the budget. If you want modern and busy this is not for you. If you want a gorgeous place with a more laid back feel this is the spot.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: People are amazing

We stayed for 7 days my friend son have allergies, from the front desk to customer service to chef and kitchen helpers satisfied her needs. We are greatful to all their help. The servers Daniella, Cardinal, Ric, Jennysy, Stephanie are very helpful to us. Chef Santiago done beyond the needs of the kid who have allergy with the help of kitchen supervisor Janet. Our room attendant Katie is funny and very helpful 10 thumbs up to all the staff of the Melia Peninsula Varadero till next time

Memories Paraiso: Amazing staff!

The hotel was clean and friendly. It is in need of some update. There were very few pool chairs available as many are broken and need replacing. The food was exactly what you expect in Cuba. The amazing staff made the vacation. Everyone was so friendly and endearing.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: No complaints!

Hotel was beautiful, staff was super friendly, view was incredible, whoever told you that the food sucks in Cuba has too high standards imo, only thing I would mention is that the water for the shower wasn't super warm but other than that 5/5 for sure!

Roc Arenas Doradas: Family resort well presented for all ages...

Thanx to Tammy B for all the arrangements++..This is a Great resort. Two story guest buildings; well presented, landscaped and maintained grounds. Grand reception area ; coffee bar with out side seating patio; covered but open to the outside lounge area; small bandshell with seating for the well presented evening dance and music reviews & adjacent disco lounge. Continuing to rework some of the older buildings but our rooms were modern and recently renovated. We were accompanied by our family in separate rooms including a young child. All was well for everyone. Family resort it is but NOT an issue for all ages to book in!

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Royalton Hicacos continues to shine

The Royalton has experienced 4 difficult years since our last visit. Years in which COVID reduced tourism to a trickle and Cuba's income was hard hit. Nonetheless the Royalton came through it well and we were delighted to find the Resort little changed. The Grounds were in great shape, the Staff as willing to help as always, our Room the same as ever and the Restaurants well stocked. Some shortages sure but that was to be expected. Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Bad Experience...

I liked the beaches and the resort lay out, but the food and the house keeping was a disaster...I lost 4 LB during 7 days trip. There was no customer service, bad attitude of staff, even though we were tipping every one of them that talked to us. There were COCKROCHES in the buffet going around the dishes, even we had a big one in our room that had to chase him out. They were not changing the towels daily, leave the same towel wet back on hanger and when we asked for a new one they sent u [... read more]s one that was old and smelt so bad that we air dried ourselves. Always short in the toilet papers, Bed sheets were stained and the plastic cover under the sheets were wrinkled which would make your body ache the whole day. The food was the worst of all, their meat even the chicken was so chewy and tasted so blanc. No Banana, Avocado. even their limited salads or veggies were offered had no sauce. Also, if you were not in the buffet within the first half hour some of the dishes go empty first without being refilled again. The other thing that really was bothersome that there were not enough dishes, we had to look around for 5 min to find a small dish to be able to take food every time. Never been so disappointed from the 50 all inclusive trip that I've been to until now.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Not as advertised

So apparently to the Memories people 24 hr roomservice,and fully stocked fridge means something different. The food at the buffet restaurant was vey clean specious and had numerous choices oif proteins, fruits and grains. Our room was large and spacious with a king size bed and very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned every day. 3 bottles of bottled water were provided everyday, and beers for the fridge. The resort grounds were well maintained. The hedges with vibrant blossoms of bright fushia flowers was very appealing. They had musical, dancing entertainment. Music played very d [... read more]ay at the pool. Access to the water was by gradual levels of walking in water, with few steps. There was transportation provided to and from the lobby and beach.

Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Magical, beautiful hotel

I have been in Cuba before, but this hotel was a lot nicer than others I've been at. Me and my partner chose this hotel because it is adult only. The grounds are clean, the staff is generally very polite and some are absolutely amazing. Our favorite was Iliana, amazing lady with great smile and enormous energy level, her smile was on early in the morning and stayed on till late at night! The guy with machete that was taking care of the flowers and bushes was our favorite person to watch in action every morning. He was so polite, without understanding what we were saying to him, but he just smiled and worked. There was entertainment every night, and variety of it. The clientele is generally older crowd, mostly 50+, which was fine with us. The food was not always the best, but I'm sure it was the best they had at the time. People that work on the grounds are great, courteous, and accommodating. One complaint I have is our room staff. I don't know why, but our room got done nicely only first day, after that we never got our towels or sheets changed, and they never made some nice things with the towels as they have in the other rooms, not sure why, we were always nice to all the staff and we tipped... maybe we didn't tip enough, but in that case that is really not a good way to go about it. We took catamaran trip to see dolphins and that was amazing experience. They made sure we were well taken care of and they were really great, lots of things to drink and eat and staff on the boat was awesome! Overall it was a vacation in paradise.

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Pleasant

It would have been a better stay if the rooms weren’t so out dated. We did not have drinking water in the room after the 3rd day to the last. Pillows did not smell right, we stopped receiving fresh towels on day 3 also. The water to the building shut off a few times including the morning were getting ready to leave. That was an inconvenience.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Amazing resort

This resort is beautiful. It is brand new and beautifully laid out. Everything is close by. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen. The rooms are lovely. Our maid Misaily made sure the room was very clean. Check in went very smoothly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout out to the staff at the the Allure beach bar, Yadier, Lazaro and Raul for the great service and friendly faces. The Mexican where we met Lester and Byron who went above and beyond with great service. Yuri at the Asian. We also went to the Italian. The service was great but I didn’t get the name of the young lady that served us but she was very friendly. Idonys at the American Snack bar. Raudel at the swim up bar. There were some negatives as the buffet is not large enough to accommodate the guests and they were not at full capacity. It would be great if they put in another buffet. There also should be an area to do the kids entertainment . It was in the lobby which made it very crowded . They do lack food and wine was only in the ala cartes but they are doing the best with what they have. The mosquitoes were Terrible at night so bring repellent. Overall it was a wonderful vacation.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Best Beach, Excellent Service

I have been to this resort 7 times and truly enjoy my vacation. The resort is beautiful, beaches are the best and staff are all so friendly, pleasant and engaging. The rooms are fine, always clean, I personally like the meal options at the snack bar, buffet, Ranchon and beach grill. I will return to this resort.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Overall it was very good

Most people were friendly and the resort was in OK shape. During the week you could find things that needed fixing/replacing, and the buffet is not 24 hrs. BUT, great pools and beach made it worth it.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful Hotel, Terrible Food

This would be my first trip to Santa Clara but my 10th trip to Cuba. The hotel grounds and room are beautiful, clean and Modern. The food selection here was the worst I have ever experienced in Cuba.

Nacional de Cuba: One of havana top hotels

Very good location, large and comfortable room and beds, nice pool , very amazing night show, very good breakfast, safe place . Only problem with room was no cofee maker or tea maker, large room and bath, relatively nice staff I recommend this hotel to others, it was already a famous casino and at present it is choice for diplomates
