Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort: Beautiful stay in Riviera Maya!

Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort exceeded all our expectations and set the bar high for our first time in Mexico. The resort's facilities and amenities were indeed world-class. Service was top notch and the staff were phenomenal. We are already planning to come back and stay longer! If there is something that was a negative was the seaweed situation on the beach. It was just too much. But we have very much enjoyed our stay. Muchas gracias por todo!

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Amazing resort

Great vacation April 22-29/19 Resort was beautiful, clean and wonderful staff. Rooms were great spacious and comfy beds. Food was amazing! Beach fantastic. Pools were fantastic! Highly recommend this resort to others.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Great resort

Been to this resort a number of times. Grounds and beach are beautiful. Plenty of things to do around and never get bored. Kids friendly, lots of kids slides. Good Snorkelling right of the beach. Always recommend this place to my friends.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great but not amazing

Room was very clean and nice. We stayed in the rooftop room in El Beso. I wouldn't recommend the swim up rooms, didn't see anyone really use them and they are literally beside the pool. Beach is narrow and small and a little rocky. Seaweed was present but that's basically everywhere and nothing resort can do about it. Food was good. Sakura restaurant and the italian place were the best ones in our opinion. Barcelo Maya Caribe: Fabulous vacation!

The hotel was fantastic! Such a large area between 5 hotels, with variety in food, pools, but well layed out that it was easy to orient. The staff were all so welcoming, always with a smile on their face. Everything was very well maintained. The food was really good!! buffets, al le carte, and you could find something at any time of day. I never had to think about anything or worry about anything, it was absolutely fantastic!!

Resort had a lot to offer activities, swim with dolphins, spa etc. very clean, food and service was awesome and friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. We will definitely be back. Had a great time and highly recommend

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Nice pools but horrible beach

The hotel is beautiful but the beach is so horrible we would never go to this area again. Service was great but i got food poisioning. Thr quality of the wine needs to be better. More options for different wines. Waterpark is amazing.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: We were speechless!

We were a little skeptical from the glowing reviews but WOW were we impressed! Buffet and restaurants were amazing! Bars everywhere with Premium drinks that are not watered down and cheerily filling our bubba thermoses. Am a chocoholic and had the best chocolate desert at Limas! Dark chocolate and white chocolate with green macha powder artistically presented on the dish! Yikes was so good! Buffet was a foodies dream! Room was spacious and clean. Sargassum is a problem throught most of the carribean however our Akumal resort had full time crews cleaning it up so beach was not as bad as it could have been. We have been to most of the islands in the Caribbean but at Akumal from april 22 to april 29th we honestly had the best week at a resort ever. Marco the buffet and restaurant manager was very accomodating and made us feel so welcome. Staff was always cheery and never made us feel unwelcomed. We are planning on going back this November with 2 other couples!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Nice Resort

The resort was very large, well maintained with lots of staff. Grounds where gorgeous and pools where great. At times felt the buffet for dinner felt it was the same. The ocean front was not good because of all the weeds but not the fault of the resort. They had lots of people manually taking away the weeds but could never keep up to it.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Get your steps in!

This property was massive. Lots of walking. They had shuttle carts for guests but we had a hard time getting one when needed. Beach was large with lots of seating. Lots of seaweed so we stayed by the pool. Buffet food could have been better options for vegetarians or more selection in general.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Very satisfied

Our family had a wonderful week at the Lindo resort, everything met or exceeded expectations. Rooms, Service, pools, beaches, food, bars, entertainment...all great. Sailing the Hobie Cats was an exceptionally fun experience, however there was an abundance of seaweed at the beach, despite the extensive efforts by staff to control it

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Awesome resort !!!

Catalonia had it all ! We were there for 10 days and never got bored from snorkelling off the beach, kayaking the lagoon, golfing the 9 holes in Puerto Aventuras, biking around the marina, going to the beach next door, going to the nightly shows and did I mention the great food , A memorable vacation thanks to tripcentral

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Resort

This resort is clean and the people are extremely friendly. There is always something to do if you want it just relax. The beach has some rocks close to shore and seaweed would blow in but still so much fun to play in the waves. The food is very good and a lot of variety at all the restaurants and I especially enjoyed the ice cream shop. The only problem was they screwed up my return information causing me to miss the bus and almost the plane, that was extremely stressful and I had checked two  [... read more]times about return information.

Excellence Riviera Cancun: Best resort ever

One of a kind resorts. We loved everything about it. The staff was fabulous and catered to all of our needs. The food was delicious in all of its restaurants. We are definitely planning to come back next year and would recommend this resort to anyone. Time of our lives.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Older resort with great service and amazing food,

We’ve stayed at 2 of the other properties onsite and this seems to be the older of the 3 with smaller rooms. But the food and service were very good. Francesco in the dining room at breakfast every day was excellent. I was travelling with a broken leg, which wasn’t easy as the pathways are very rough, cobblestone and my knee scooter wasn’t designed for 4wheel drive. I advised the resort in advance that I had a broken leg and wheelchair and was given a ground level room close to the lob [... read more]by, however it wasn’t “accessible”. The bathroom was so small that the door hit the toilet when opened, the tub was difficult to get into especially with a half glass door. I’m lucky my injury is temporary. I don’t think someone in a wheelchair could have managed. The knee scooter is half the size and I barely fit into the bathroom. Everything else is similar to other resorts: people saving chairs with the towels even though signs says not to, weak drinks, and lots of seaweed on the beach. Also, the timeshare people lied to our faces, saying they weren’t selling timeshares. Be careful. But the food in the buffet and a la carte restaurants is excellent, the staff are very friendly and provide great service. We would go back but not with a broken leg.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing!

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The food was delicious (so many options). The staff were friendly and helpful. We did however get served a bottle of wine at the seafood place and were only told after that it was from the wine list not the house wine, we were charged $35 for it.

We absolutely loved this resort. Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a little trouble with our air conditioning at the beginning, but we called and the staff arrived promptly to our room and fixed the problem perfectly. The grounds were beautiful, the food was spectacular and the staff were very friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. The pools and beach were stunning and restaurant service and poolside service was excellent.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Loved this Resort!

Everything about Royalton Riviera Cancun was fantastic, entertainment, food, staff, our room and overall atmosphere of the resort. We loved our week there and would return over and over. We did a 3 family vacation and every single one of us could not make a single complaint about anything.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Unless you need to be on the beach, why stay anywhere else!!!

This hotel is fantastic from the rooms to the food / drinks to the grounds. Absolutely wonderful. Being adults only, the resort is very peaceful, away from the highway and family resorts. It is in the jungle but the trolley rides to the beach, the Hacienda or to other resorts were quick. We never waited more than 5 minutes. The buffet restaurant is the best I've ever had! Lots of choices! The 24 hours snack bar would make you fresh food at 3am and the butler service around the pool [... read more] and at the beach were a nice touch. The rooms were modern and very cozy. We had a regular room as we didn't see the need for a hottub so I can't comment on that! But all in all, dollar for dollar, this is our resort from now on. Why pay more for the same! ***Small Tip*** since this resort is approximately 75 minutes from the airport, we booked a private transfer. Waiting for the bus and going through other resorts to drop people off was my issue the last time we visited the Bahia and will never take the bus again.
