Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Exceptional Resort

Amazing resort for guest of all ages. Very clean and comfortable with great restaurants, facilities, entertainment and remarkable service. By far the best resort we have been to and their friendly and helpful staff certainly enhance the overall experience. From check in to check out, the service was impeccable. The only thing we would have preferred is a little less vendor traffic on the beach.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great 3 star Resort

I didn't go in with high expectations because I knew it was a 3 star hotel. The service was great. Very friendly and courteous staff. The room was nice and AC was working amazing (slightly loud but rather that then a hot room) beach was lovely. The addition of the little island was definitely a bonus. Loved the Jerk Hut. By far the best jerk chicken and pork I had the whole vacation. The drinks were delicious and you can definitely taste the alcohol. The a la care restaurants were great. Loved the Japanese one. Very entertaining and great food. Obviously there were some downsides but nothing to ruin a vacation. The buffet food was hit or miss. The omlette station was delicious. The food at the grill was so so. The washrooms in the rooms were on the small size. You could fit only one person at a time. A few days before we left they started some renovations so you can hear construction and they had to change the location of some of the meals. Overall I know there are nicer resorts in Jamaica but for the price we paid of $950 for a superior room we got an great vacation. Definitely recommend for families.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing 5 Star Resort..

Hotel was amazing.. Grounds perfect.. Food amazing.. Out standing Hotel..the one thing I liked about this Hotel.. No Food by the pool.. Nice and clean.. There's always staff walking around making sure your ok.. If you need drinks.. Amazing..

Sandals Dunn's River: Great resort!

Great overall! Nice room, grounds, staff, drinks, and beach. Jerk chicken wrap by the beach grill is AMAZING, especially with extra sauce to dip! Highly recommend this resort and will likely return.:)

Sandals Dunn's River: Relaxing

Hotel was exactly what we needed. Rest and relaxing with a little fun on the side. Good was fabulous and dining at the Jade Samuri is a must..chef Smoke provided much entertainment. Air conditioning wasn't as cold as I would have liked but summer is hot in Jamaica.

Hedonism II: Fun & Friendly

I was a single female travelling alone for the very first time. I was looking for a resort that I could meet friendly people that weren't in their "honeymoon bubble". I was quite impressed how friendly everyone was. I arrived late in the evening and by the next day everyone, including staff knew my name (and it's not an easy one). The buffet restaurant was relocated to a tented area on the beach which also included the stage where the evening performances took place. All the pools were beautiful but the ones on the prude side were not used by many. Everyone was always in the nude section/pool. Due to the inconvenience of the construction, the hotel upgraded my room from a prude gardenview to a nude oceanview. They also included 2 excursions-- a catamaran tour which included snorkeling and swimming into caves and the second tour was a shopping tour and which also took you to Rick's cafe. Most of the staff were super friendly and had service with a smile. The nude pool bartenders.. well.. not so much, but they were still provided quick service. The buffet food wasn't bad but not amazing. I didn't go for the food. I still ate well. The 2 grills (prude and nude side) weren't bad either but they always offered only the same choices daily. The piano bar entertainment is a hoot! If you go.. please participate! Their are 2 entertainment employees that are so amazingly talented, it makes me wonder how they are not famous - Winston (Entertainment Manager) and Stephanie (piano bar). Bring your fun and crazy outfits and have a blast! I love this resort as it has a more natural rustic feel vs. the larger chain hotels that are pristine and immaculate. I felt more comfortable and relaxed because of the natural beauty. I'm hooked and I cannot wait to go back!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: AMAZING RESORT! AMAZING HONEYMOON!!

We just came back from our honeymoon at Sandals Ochi Resort. We had the best time on and off the resort. The food was great and always something available. The staff are really easy ensure you have the best of time to just enjoy and relax. We loved how big the resort and all it's dining options. Well worth it's stars! We would HIGHLY recommend this resort to any couple, young or old.... it's just a GREAT place to spend a great vacation. You WILL not regret it.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Beautiful resort

We went to Rose Hall Beach resort for our honeymoon and it was excellent. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and very eager to help. We were upgraded to a king suite. The ground very clean, beach beautiful. One little flaw, always the same food everyday. They should have a little more variety but it was very good. I would return again.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Great Service Good Food Average Beach

Chilled Jamaican feel with intimate couples atmosphere combined with exemplary service and food with very clean and comfortable surroundings made this a really relaxing trip. More restaurants to choose from than we could find time to dine and same goes for the pools. The weather was awesome for August travel. Beaches were quite average however. Overall would go back for the great friendly service.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: ok resort

The grounds was well kept, the rooms were small and for diamond clubs members i think the rooms could be a little flasher more modern they also need more entertainment for the quests we were diamond members and i think we could have had better privilidge mainly for dining somethimes we could not find our butler

We had such an amazing time at this resort.Everything is so clean, staff is so nice, rooms are great, the view is amazing, food is top notch.We are going back again this winter with our kids, can't wait

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing trip central experience

My experience with trip central has been nothing but wonderful. When I first was looking on trip central website, I found it extremely easy to navigate and find a trip, best suited for me. When I first booked my vacation, my agent was extremely helpful and I booked my trip within that day. She kept me updated through email about excursions, deals and what information I needed. She listed all the steps for me, since it was my first vacation travelling alone. I stayed at the Riu in Jamaica (Ochos  [... read more]Riu) and the hotel was wonderful. The staff was amazing and the food was awesome. Our sunwing agent was extremely helpful and kind. Any questions we had she answered. Trip central made my first travel experience, nothing but easy and comfortable. I will be certainly booking all my trips through them.

Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Trying hard to get it right.

We stayed at the Hyat Ziva from August 12th to 19th. This is a good, but not great resort. It has recently re-opened under new ownership. The rooms are a bit dated, but well-kept. The quality of the food was O.K., although not up to the calibre of a number of other resorts we have visited in Jamaica. One day, there were no beach towels available for a short period time. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a good holiday.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: 3rd time returning and still amazing

This is our third time returning to the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites. Food, service, and the size of the resort are a few of many reasons why we love this resort for our family of 4 (kids are 4 and 1). We found the service at this resort to be even better this time around, and the food was great as always, especially at the French restaurant. Never had any issues with our room (we were upgraded to oceanfront, which was a nice surprise) but we did notice that we had no hot water for a very short  [... read more]period of time one day - a non issue. Overall, I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

Couples Negril: Beautiful Resort!

A piece of paradise! Grounds were lush and well maintained. Accommodations impeccably clean and comfortable, and dining experiences outstanding. Staff were warm and friendly. Beach/water unbelievable, with plenty of activities available. Clients of all ages. No mad early morning rush needed to reserve chairs by the pool or beach- always more than enough. Floating mats on all the beach chairs is the best idea ever- can fall asleep floating in the designated swim area of the ocean!!!!! Everything  [... read more]is well situated- resort is well laid out so that restaurants, rooms, pools are all a short walk away.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: An incredible wedding Resort!!!

My husband and I can only say amazing things about the Royalton Whitesands Resort in Jamaica. The resort is gorgeous and the swim out honeymoon suite made our stay that much better and romantic. I highly recommend getting married at this resort as they will make sure everything is perfect. Our wedding pictures are incredible!!! The staff is always friendly and smiling. The ideal resort for weddings, honeymoons and family vacations.

Resort is Very clean, friendly staff awesome place for families. Very difficult to get into the steak house as its too small and they only have two seating times 6 and after 8:30. Staff go out of their way for you. We would go back.

Riu Palace Jamaica: Relaxing Stay

I have no complaints with Riu Palace Montego Bay. It was a smaller resort (which I prefer) with great buffet food. The (4) restaurants were reasonable, with Krystal (fusion) being our favourite. Every other restaurant seemed to duplicate choices that were available on the Buffet (surprisingly the steak at the Steakhouse restaurant was far inferior to that on the Buffet). Very clean resort catering to couples. Entertainment staff was great (the right people in the right job), and there was always [... read more] something to do should you choose. Bar service and pool/ beach service was superb and somehow unobtrusive: every time you needed a drink, someone was there. The only potential drawback was the housekeeping carts that had hard plastic wheels that you could hear rolling down the tile hallways starting at 8am, and air conditioning in some of the restaurants seemed to be on the fritz, which meant a warm atmosphere that somewhat took away from the meal (about 28 C in the restaurant - Krystal most notably). The wristbands were a bit of an inconvenience, but being able to explore the Riu next door (the one with kids) was nice. Designated smoking area at hotel entrance and back corner of the beach was enforced, though I do not know why a hotel would have a smoking area right by the main entrance. If you are looking for a kid-free relaxing resort with great food and service, I would recommend.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: downhill

I seems ownership has change since I was there a few year ago. Staff less friendly. No tip, no service. We were forced into booking a meeting and and tour. We skipped it and the resst of the week our service was even worse(swear I got blacklisted). The ac wasn't even that cold. (was before). Tons of noisey construction morning til night. (shook our room) overall it's as if th hotel just gave up on doesn't care anymore. It's sad.

Sandals Dunn's River: Fantastic resort, exception food

the best part was the a la carte restaurants, we couldn't get enough of the Japanese and Italian places. and the Waterpark was incredible...our kids just loved it. Beach is nice, clean, lots of chairs,shade.
