Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Holiday at Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an

This resort is fantastic. The grounds are well kept, people were friendly. Resort Manager Paula always had a smile on her face, easy to talk too. Was concerned how your holiday was going. This resort had excellent Ala carted, but the buffet was just as good. Best food we have had on our many trips to Mexico. The entertainment was the best we have seen and the entertainment team works very hard to make sure your having a great time with all kinds of games, during the daytime as well. I would return to this resort agai, possible next year.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort

Great resort, friendly staff. The shuttle service is confusing and frustrating at times. Lots of seaweed and rocks in the ocean but the employees work tirelessly to clean it up all day long every day.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Amazing Hotel.

Hotel and Staff were very friendly. Food was awesome including 3 restaurants. They had 4 pools to lounge around, plus 2 beaches. Hotel was very clean, and entertainment shows nightly. The town was only 5 minutes away, with free transportation hourly.

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Our recent stay

We have visited the resort before so we knew what to expect. This visit was a bit different as it didn't star in a positive way. When we arrived it took them 45 minutes to have us checked in. The front desk clerk was so rude. None of our requests were considered or accommodated. As someone who does travel often I have to say this was the worst guest service we have ever received. Moving forward to our rooms. We had two. The ac didn't work in one and the bathroom door didn't close at all in the  [... read more]other. The safe didn't work making my husband go back and forth to the front desk ( as when he called he was directed to come down to talk to them) for 3 hours. Waiting for someone to reset it just for it not to work few minutes later. After getting moved 2 days later the shower was leaking in both rooms when someone was showering in the room above. I don't expect perfection but I think we would have overlooked a lot of the imperfections have we had a better experience at the front desk. On a positive note all the staff at the buffet, housekeeping and ground crew were just as amazing as we expected. Always smiling and willing to help if need be. Making this our second trip it might have been out last. Customers service is very important in my eyes and it really felt like the key people at the resort have a lot to learn from the staff that actually do the dirty work. Non of the management acknowledged us once but they sure were present, standing around with their arms crossed, staring at all the staff that were running around the buffet trying to serve all the guests.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Decent resort

Decent resort with excellent staff. The resort was full so it made for a difficult time getting a table at the buffet. Wasn't until the last 2 days that we located a second, smaller buffet which was far less busy. Would've been good to know this prior to having to wrestle for a table at prime meal times. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Quality Value!!

Great value as it is a 4.5 resort with 3.5 prices. Food, rooms, pool, and beach outstanding. Staff curtious and helpful but remember you are on a Caribbean resort not a big city hotel so be patient and smile and you will be treated like royalty.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful Resort but understaffed

We were there April1- 7th. The building and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Not one complaint about the food it was excellent. I would say its very understaffed for the size. Beach is terrible!

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Great Resort!

The grounds of this resort are spectacular! Rooms are beautiful and super clean, staff was all very helpful and friendly. Buffet restaurants were all good, a la cartes could use some work. Not enough staff at pool bars, however pools were excellent and nice beach.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....

This resort is clean, staff are friendly, food is ok But what the pictures don't show you is visible from the beach of this resort is a factory, and industrial smoke. If I had known that this would be visible I would have never gone to this resort. The water is also murky, not that nice blue that you want. We were also suckered into a time share presentation, waste of time. go somewhere else, learn from my mistake. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Vacation

The beach is gorgeous! Water is crystal clear. Weather was fantastic. Very pretty resort. The gardens were very well kept. We stayed in building 66 close to the main lobby. Just a short walk to the pool and the beach. We enjoyed the music and the entertainment. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and they work very hard to keep everything organized. Had a great time!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful resort

Just returned from a week stay at the beautiful Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda resort. This resort is a luxury by far, with extremely pleasant butlers, waiters - everyone was so kind and always greeted us with a smile. All the facilities were kept immaculate. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Awesome!

The Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the grounds were beautifully kept; the food was great. We had great fun engaging with the Animation Team. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Good This was an awesome place to stay, from its excellent buffets to the perfect a la cartes The Bad The service at the bar was hit and miss. Sometimes there was no beer, or limes or even vodka at the big pool. Very in consistent. The Ugly The last day that we were there, a new group had just arrived. Boy what a group. From a guy dancing on top of the swim up bar to girls taking their swim suit tops off and nothing was being done. We were discussed. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Perfect family vacation!

This was our 2nd family vacation. Our 3yr old & 7yr old had a great time. We stayed from Apr 3-8 and the weather was perfect everyday. The resort was about an hour drive from the airport, but my husband & I enjoyed the scenery. The resort is huge. Lots of beautiful landscaping. Our room was average, mattress a little hard, but decent. Our room was very close to the pool, beach & main lobby & buffet which we enjoyed. The beach is so long, not white sand, but my kids loved searching for sh [... read more]ells & rocks. So many palm trees & tons of beach chairs. We never had a problem finding somewhere to lay. Also, the water not so clear, but not the hotels fault. Luckily we found an area of the beach where the water was clearer. We also stayed at the main pool which my kids also enjoyed. We never had a problem with the staff. Everyone always greeting with a smile. The main buffet staff all so friendly, despite being so busy. We very much enjoyed the food. Overall, a great experience. We would love to go back!!!

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Beautiful Resort

First time to Samana and to anywhere in the Dominican Republic. Would certainly go back again. The Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo is beautiful. Clean rooms, food was good, loved the pool and the beach. The staff were entertaining. Lucked out with the weather, no rain. We had a little mix up with our room but we were upgraded to a junior suite after they corrected the issue. Would definitely go to this resort again.

RESORT WAS EVERYTHING MY WIFE AND I,PLUS OUR FRIENDS, COULD HAVE HOPED FOR. IT WAS CLEAN, ATTRACTIVE, WELL APPOINTED, & LAID OUT. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS,AND OBLIGING IN EVERY WAY. THIS WAS OUR 8TH TRIP TO DOM.REPUBLIC BUT THE 1ST TO THIS RESORT. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED THAT WE ARE CONSIDERING RETURNING NEXT SPRING FOR TWO, OR MORE, WEEKS. MAY I ADD THAT THE FOOD,AND SERVICE,WAS VERY GOOD & THE SPECIALTY RESTUARANTS EXCELLENT

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: FANTASTIC RESORT

We just came back from a week long stay at Luxury Bahia Principe Runaway Bay. We felt like we were in paradise. The resort was exceptionally clean and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff were wonderful from beginning to end. If I had one complaint it would be the Luxury Lobby Bar - they were always running out of Bailey's and Rum Cream. This would be the only spot that I found the staff to be less than friendly or accommodating. Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Really good resort

Everything was very clean and put together very nice. Excellent service all around, definetly would go back. Awesome entertainment and pool/beach areas. Food was the best I've ever had by far. Thank you!

Cayo Levantado Resort: Great Resort!!!

Outstanding service, exceptional rooms and attentive hotel staff. Beach was rather windy most days but water was very warm. The only suggestion I would make to the hotel management would be to keep the main bar open beyond 11pm and full room service(wine or beer) was not available but for an extra cost so it's not fully all inclusive. But the overall experience was "Excellente"
