Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Beautiful Resort!!!!

The resort was beautiful! The food and staff were excellent!! The beach is very choppy and stoney, as is expected in a bay, but there were always plenty of comfortable lounge chairs available by the pool. The only negative comments ~ We were disappointed in how we were treated with our a la carte reservation, and were told restaurants were booked up though they were never full and found out too late you could just show up for a table without reservations. This we have NEVER run into before!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing resort

We just came back from a week in Iberostar Paraiso Beach in Mexico first the rooms were really nice beds great and the maid did and excellent job we had room 3244 top floor and when you go outside if you go out back way you just walk few steps to the pool and poolside bar they organize activities everyday and shows every night. The food was excellent and service too the ala carte resturants we tried Japanese, steakhouse and Mediterranean very good, snack bars on beach and bar of course -friendly [... read more] staff always willing to help we had been to Mayan before so we didn't do tours we were down for a rest so it was nice to relax we enjoyed our stay very much and 30 deg every day who could ask for more.. My only disappointment was that we could only use the del Mar iberostar next door and I wanted to use the lazy river at Lindo iberostar since I can't swim and you can't use their pool but otherwise great ocean just beautiful can't wait to go back.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Quiet

First I will say I have read reviews about this hotel and wonder where these people stayed. My wife and I found this vacation very relaxing and pleasant. The room was clean and the maid service great. The grounds were well kept and the gardeners were very friendly. The pool was clean and chairs were easy to obtain. The beach was always being cleaned and the water clear. The food, well we were in Cuba, but surprised the food much better than other times we were in Cuba. This is an amazing resort !! The food is great, grounds are well kept, hotel staff are the best around. had a great time will be back for sure !!! pools very clean, service around pool was great . lots of activities if you wanted to do something staff were fun & easy to get along with !! go there you will not be disappointed !!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Very beautiful resort!

Amazing resort. However,the beach had a lot of pebbles and had extremely high waves. So did not get to swim in the ocean. Restaurants were good with a variety of food at the buffet. A lot of chairs so always got one no matter what time of day! Always had activities going on. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Hotel was spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. Activities were fun and lively. Food was varied and enjoyable. Really enjoyed our stay, would return.

Very clean, from the grounds to the public washrooms. rooms are comfortable but can be a little on the damp side. Staff are friendly and most speak English fluently. I would highly recommend this resort!!!!

My husband and I spent 7 nights and it was ****Amazing****. The view from our room was spectacular, the food was delicious (I am very particular and picky about my food), the entire resort was kept extremely clean - always someone around cleaning something somewhere. The service was great!! All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. There were activities for everyone of all ages - from kids to seniors. Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Beautiful and friendly resort, very clean

Our first time at this resort and found it very clean in our room, public areas all eating areas. Wonderful friendly, helpful staff. We were a bit disappointed in the entertainment, except for the Dancers they were amazing, so was the activities around the pool.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Our 3rd Time in One Year!

We stayed here for the first time last January and loved it! We came back again in October, and again this January. The service improves each time we stay, and the staff and beautiful surroundings are what keep us coming back. We hope to go back again once more this year. Nearby snack bar with burgers, hot dogs, fries and drinks. There are several pools on the property, all well maintained with bar service. The main pool offers a waterfall, nets for water polo, and games and entertainment through out the day. Next to that is the pool bar which offers amazing service and tasty drinks. Service 5* From the moment you arrive, the service is incredible and the staff are so friendly. Thank you so much to Anja, the girls at the front desk, and to our favorite bar tenders: Yariel, Fidel, Darren, Kensi, and Felix. I must also commend the entertainment staff for everything they do. Food 4* All of the a la carte restaurants are pretty good, but my absolute favorite is the Japanese Cooking Show. Reservations can be made in advance by contacting the hotel before your trip. The buffet food is good, but can use some improvement in variety. Food is not usually labelled, so you are often left guessing as to what it is. Not good if you have allergies, and a waste if you don't like the taste. The snack bar / Ranchon restaurant is a great place to grab a bite when you are still in your bathing suit. They usually offer burgers, hot dogs, fries and drinks. There may be more options at other times of the day (breakfast /lunch). There is also an ice cream parlor for a nice refreshing treat. It's also worth trying some of the restaurants in town. Many good options available. Rooms 4* The rooms are nicely decorated, and so far we've always had a nice view. Especially this last time. We contacted the hotel prior to our trip to ask for a nice room, and they really delivered! The view was incredible. The beds are okay, a little stiff with soft pillows, but I always sleep like a baby:) Water pressure is low and TV's need upgrading. Air conditioning works well. Beach towels on arrival, bathrobes in closet. Mini bar stocked with Beer (Cristal & Bucanero), Orange, Lime and Cola, as well as water. There is no clock in the room, so bring one with you. 220v European outlets. Location 3* The beach is quite large and well maintained in front of this property. People at surrounding resorts are not so lucky. And the property itself is absolutely beautiful and well laid out. It is quite large with many things to do and still easy to get around. The only downfall is how far it is from town. I would say at least 20km. The hop on hop off bus stops at every resort, so the ride can take about 45 minutes to an hour. And a taxi costs 15 CUC each way. Value 4* Although costly to go on any vacation, this resort offers a beautiful property and views, nice accommodations, a fantastic staff, and many extras for a reasonable price. Definitely worth trying. Although some improvements need to be made, these people work very hard to give us the very best, and it shows. I will be back again and again!:)

The beaches were gorgeous, resort beautiful and staff excellent!! Dayker & Gustovoe are a must to see bartenders in the lobby bar excellent service. Will definitely go back!! Resort has a great cigar store and lounge must visit those areas.

We were there from Jan 10 - Jan 17, 2015. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool area was great. Food was very good. Rooms were very clean and nice. Beds were comfy for a hotel. The beach was awesome. Big waves but still able to enjoy the water. Loved the sound of the surf. Actually could see whales jumping from the beach one day. Just incredible. If possible fly another airline. The resort is worth it though.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Simple.. It was amazing!

The only thing I can say that it negative is that the food could be warmer. Other than that the food was great and so was the variety. The activities was ongoing and FUN! The staff would only ask you to join there was no coaxing . If you want to relax NO problem but a can tell you the fun is none ending. I would so return to this resort and bring friends along for the adventure!

We loved all the restaurants and the buffet was always enjoyed. This hotel was top notch and all the staff were warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone thinking of visiting Mexico. Hola!

First, I would recommend this Resort to anyone, because the place is clean and beautiful. The staff at the resort were very friendly & pleasant. The food & service was great, but would not recommend the Steak House. When you needed something, you only had to tell the front desk & it's there when you get back to your room. The only thing I would say, is to ask for a room with a tub, because the shower glass is to short & the water leaks all over the floor. Aleex & the rest of the entertainment staff were great, they had most everyone participating in every event. Daniell from Tripcentral was great & very helpful.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Disappointing Beach

Hotel needs to find a more efficient way of clearing seaweed from the beach. Seaweed is relentless and hotel staff spend all day cleaning it up, leaving garbage bags lining the beach front. Not something you want to be looking at while on the beach...doesn't make for good backdrop on your photos lol.

Very relaxing. Quiet. Exceptionally clean. Beautiful grounds. Delicious food. Fabulous pool. Attentive staff. Wonderful spa. Great amenities and activities for both adults and children. Lovely beach to enjoy the ocean.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Amazing and great for wheelchair accessibility

This property is gorgeous with an unbelievable layout with an endless pool and a roof top overlooking the beach. This is ideal for travellers with physical limitations to admire the ocean at the same time enjoy a Margarita. The staff is attentive and all fine details of a chocolate placed on top of your pillow each night made me feel welcome. The hotel is exceptionally clean and everyone welcomed us with open arms. CHFI & Trip Central picked out a great location for our free trip. Hotel was beautiful, service was excellent, food was superb. Surf was a little too choppy to actually go swimming but the beach was superb for relaxing and walking for miles.
