Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: Always happy to return to this gem!

Our 3rd visit and it keeps improving. * the grounds are beautiful and even the buffet had fantastic features ie. the back wall ceramic tilework. Worth a close look, in both buffets. * the beach is vast and beautiful. A rare resort where you don't see cigarette butts or straws in the sand. *the food selection was great and as we love mexican food we were happy. Nopales at the buffet. *the room was kept very clean. *the staff was outstanding. Always ready to help. I seriously don't know  [... read more]why there are negative reviews. The only peeve is that the last 2 times, after finding a space on the beach with nice resort music, we had to listen to other people's music as well. The same happened at the pool.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Amazing resort!

We had the time of our lives here. Cant complain about much! Pool was amazing, staff were great, beach was great except for the seaweed which was kept up with very well. Food array was good and tasty except hamburger which was usually always very undercooked, the staff in the buffet were eager to please and would cook it longer if asked. The resort is very clean! Lots to do and see. Lots of wildlife which mind their business and are very wonderful to see. Definitely would return here again!

Breathless Riviera Cancun: cool resort, but wouldn't go again

We stayed in the exhale section of the resort. was exactly as promised, nice and quiet. The good: Resort was beautiful, rooms were nice and roomy, food was great. resort wasn't overly big so it was easy to walk to everything. Entertainment was really cool. Pools were great, and each one has it's own vibe, party, energetic or relaxed (relaxed is only for xhale). if you stay in xhale make sure you do the hydro therapy sessions, it was super cool experience. The bad: Even though they are always working on clearing the seaweed, there was always sea weed in the ocean so not many people swimming in the ocean. There were a few hiccups like the room key not working, or the ipad in the room not working, but they concierge was pretty quick to fix those issues. we didn't get turn down service or our fridge refilled everyday, but we just called down (for the fridge part at least) and they sent room service up to fill it. also fridge wasn't very cold and that seemed to be a constant complaint for lots of people staying there. Although they advertise as all included (including tips) make sure you tip, you get better service. we even had one staff at the buffet complain about us not tipping him (we forgot our cash in the room that morning) The ugly: not a resort you want to go to if you are into water sports. we couldn't snorkel because of all the sea weed, you could kayak and paddle board and got to go on a little sail boat which was fun. no scuba center or anything like that so definitely not the place if you want to scuba or snorkel. Tips if you stay in Xhale: Make sure you get the bottle of champagne and the 200 ml bottle of belvedere vodka they promise on the website. ( we had some difficulty getting it, had to call down several times) take advantage of the hydrotherapy ( on the website it says once per stay but when we got there it was once per day so that was a nice surprise). you are also supposed to get a beach bag in your room that you can keep so make sure you get that, it's kind of cute) overall a nice resort but i wouldn't stay there again.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very Happy with this resort

Just returned from a 7 day vacation at this resort. We have been to the Grand Bahia Principe in Dominican Punta Cana and really liked it so thought we would try the one in Mexico. Although this resort is very large it is very well kept the grounds were clean and tidy. The people working here were very pleasant and always willing to try and please. We upgraded to the Royal Golden and it is well worth the extra money. The separate lounge with wifi and a bar was small but always had space to  [... read more]sit and was very close to our room, which was very central to everything food and pools. The beach was a long distance away but the tram system took you there whenever you wanted to go. Food was very good in the buffet and the a la cartes. Was a bit hard to get a decent time for supper at 2 of the 4 a la cartes we went to which was disappointing since we booked as soon as we checked in but again there are a lot of people in this resort. The room was clean and organized we used our safe with a lock which was supplied by the royal golden check in and everything was safe and sound beginning to end. Sports bar was good even streamed the Leaf game for us since there were so many Canadians at the resort. The pools were very well looked after, they were busy and sometimes hard to get a shade seat but we usually found one eventually. I would highly recommend this resort for a family vacation.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great vacation

My husband and I took our 2 kids (4 and 3) and we had a great time. It had something every night for our kids to do like face painting, bouncy castles , animal balloons, shows, dancing and so much more. The resort was kept very clean. Our house keeper made animals out of the towels each day for our kids and they just loved it😀 The only complaints We had were the parents couldn’t enjoy the water slides with our kids as it was kids only. However they weren’t deal breakers and were already planning on going back in August for our sons 5 th birthday 😀 Honestly we had a great experience and it was the best trips we’ve been on as a family. We would totally recommend this hotel.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Love to stay at Paradisus La Perla Royal Service.

Absolutely well kept beautiful resort. Royal service for people who want to relax away from the noisy busy areas. Restaurants are amazing . The La Palapa highly recommended with all the polite service we got during our 8 days stay. The snacks in the Royal Service Lounge are very appetizing and creatively presented. Entertainment is a little noisy but it’s for the younger vacationers Rooms are very clean and specious.Clean towels twice a day. Iberostar Waves Tucan: Great Resort for Fun in the Sun😎

Hello Travel Lovers, I have just returned from the Iberostar Tucan Riviera Maya Mexico and would absolutely recommed it as a lovely vacation destination. Who loves food 🥗🍡🍹, the beach â›± and sun. There is a very cool Adult only swim up bar separate from the pool where you can enjoy a cold one and meet fellow travellers.🍺🍸🍹This resort is also full of wild life, from monkeys, peacocks, iguanas, flamingos, Tucan, parrots, koi fish and more. The monkeys are known to drop by your deck in the am looking for some fruit. They are all very tame.They have a different show every evening as well as lobby bar if you just want to chill have a drink and a chat. Had a great trip and would return to the Tucan😎

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort, family friendly

Had a great time, impeccable resort, helpful staff, many pools of all depths, great for kids. Food is great, allergy friendly, although some dishes were mislabeled or not labelled at all, need to remain vigilant if you have allergies.. Chairs/Beds situation is frustrating as there are not enough and they are all reserved by 7am, but you barely see anybody actually using them. Quite frustrating when you are stuck sitting on the ground. Entertainment lacks at night. Some nights there were show [... read more]s at 8oclock, and then 9:30. Nothing before or in between. Local bands would be entertaining. Beach is very nice but seaweed situation is quite sad. They do work hard to clean it up but water was unswimable for a couple of days.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Very nice resort!

Beautiful resort located within a jungle. We saw monkeys from our balcony! The beach is beautiful. There is also a beach pool which is also nice and not super busy. The pools are well maintained and a close walk from all the buildings. The staff was excellent. They are hardworking, always smiling and will say “hola” when they walk by you. The food was ok. The buffet had a lot of options however our stomachs were a little upset after each meal so bring extra pepto/Imodium. The AC in our roo [... read more]m didn’t really worked even after they fixed it however the fan was enough to keep us cool at night.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Relaxing time

Great resort, nice pools and grounds, decent food. Rooms are dated but comfortable. Food options aplenty. Overall staff not as friendly as other nearby resorts we’ve stayed at however we would definitely recommend and return to the Iberostar.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Very fun resort !

I went with my brother and a couple friends all around 24 years old. This was probably the funnest resort I’ve been to. We really liked how they had an adult pool so everyone 18 and up could get away from the kids, they always had entertainment at the pool and good music. There is always something fun going on somewhere on at the resort. The only thing I didn’t like was the beach was kinda dirty with sea weed. They didn’t clean it that often. There are guys that advertise coco bongo and will sell you tickets. It’s $100 and some (I forget the exact price) but it’s only for a general ticket. If I went again I’d probably just go online and buy a VIP ticket because when we got there we were standing the whole time and it was crazy busy. Everyone was shoulder to shoulder, if I was older I would’ve hated my life. But anyways I recommend coco bongo with VIP tickets.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Amazing weather and good food

this hotel was a dream when it first opened in 2015, everything top notch to promote its opening...we just came back from there and it has dropped from top notch to just another nice resort in the mayan Riviera!!! The buffet restaurant is not that good so everyone goes to the featured restaurants, which are good( the dorado was our fave). The sports bar has slipped in my opinion, along with the martini bar. There is no longer plastic straws which is an awesome perception, but something like a pa [... read more]per straw would've been nice to stir that nice slushy drink with!! Overall the weather was the best and still had fun, just not like a 5star anymore...3.5 to 4star maybe, the beach has a ton of seaweed washing up now and was weird to notice that it was brought up around the grounds below the rooms to do god knows what with, but could not sit on our balcony due to the stench from it :(

Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing resort

The grounds were Amazing, the food was awesome, the beach was perfect and the staff were very friendly I didn't like that we had to wait over an hour in line to check in at the lobby when we arrived because multiple buses arrived at the same time, more staff needed at front lobby during busy times.

Kore Tulum Retreat Wellness Resort: A great trip and an amazing resort..loved everything about it...!!!

Loved the food..the people we had an amazing spa experience. Everything about the resort was A1. For a quiet adult only resort definitely a good experience. There was a great variety of food when it came to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Michelle from West Jet was able to set us up for an excursion that included zip lining and checking out the Mayan ruins.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing time at the Barcelo Maya Caribe!

This is hands down one of the best resorts we've ever been to! The service we received was fantastic and the food was great! Lots of variety every day and more à la carte restaurants than you can possibly eat at in one week. The pools were gorgeous and the grounds were well maintained. The beach was a bit disappointing - it was quite rocky and difficult to walk on and a ton of algae washed up on the beach. Although hotel staff did a good job at removing as much as possible every day. The rooms  [... read more]were average, could use some updating. But we had no issues! We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and there was always a ton for her to do: mini mall in the resort with a carousel and indoor skating, several kiddy pools with slides, free dolphin shows, mini disco, kids club. The list goes on! We will definitely return to the Barcelo Maya Caribe!!

I had an amazing time for my first all inclusive vacay!! Room was amazing, the grounds were beautiful and the staff were incredible oh and the food nice selection and delicious Thank you next time i'd like to stay 2 weeks !!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good value!

Flight was good.Took 4,5 hours from YVR to Cancun and THREE hours from Cancun to Coba. Shame on WestJest for such transfer! If we knew, we'd rather take a taxi.Beach was cleaned on daily basis.Thanks!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Lovely Resort!

Second time at this resort complex, first time we stayed at the Beach section and this time the Colonial section. We definitely return in the future as they are building a sixth "Adults Only" section that will be amazing! The entire complex is so clean and garbage free! We were very impressed.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great Resort

Overall the hotel was in excellent condition first class service first class accommodations any and all problems reported were resolved immediately. For an all inclusive the à la cart restaurants were very good the buffets were about average. Swim up room was awesome great place to relax

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Loved the double rainhead shower. Our swim out room and a large patio area and lots of places to sit. The pool area was immaculate and cleaned every morning.
