Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very very happy

My girlfriend and I had a very good time here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was great and the hotel was kept in good shape. The pool was nice but the with all the people, it got dirty as seen from underwater. There was extremely noisy construction happening on site which was really a buzzkill - waking up to early morning power tool noise. Most rooms have an ocean view and have nice views. Riu Negril: NIce resort.

The resort was very nice, grounds, pool areas well maintained staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of excursions to choose from. Taxis available to take you around locally The steak house was excellent

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in the al larte was great buffet had a good selection. Could of have more local fruits ie mangoes and coconuts. The resort in general was very clean. Gardens well kept.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: amazing service

Everything was perfect just need more choices for vegetarian. Pools were clean. Rooms were almost cleaned twice a day. Unlimited calling US and Canada was a bonus feature. WiFi was avaliable anywhere on the resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Fantastic!

Clean. Good food. 2nd trip there and was great again. Did a upgrade to Luxury section a few more perks . We do not have children travelling with us now and the adult only section was great for pool area and dining. A little more peace and quiet. Lol

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: amazing--can't say enough about the local people

Absolutely amazing--movie production amazing-it was unreal The resort was perfect for me as everything was accessible. I could drive my scooter everywhere. I would however change the toilets in the "accessible rooms". Lower the beds and provide a shower bench. Trip Central, Micmac Mall in Halifax made this trip happen for my family. Riu Ocho Rios: Great resort, amazing food and friendly service.

This is a great resort whether you want to party or spend quality time with the family. The staff is awesome, the food and drinks were amazing and the resort is beautiful. Highly recommended, we will be visiting again.

Fun Holiday Beach Resort: Amazing Staff & Great Food!

Ok we got there late and kitchen was closed, staff went out of there way to prepare a meal for all of us, some of ate some of us didnt but those that did especially the kids said it was delicious. The grounds were well kept, very clean and staf were very friendly and always made sure we were taken care of. Yoshi awesome bartender always made us amazing drinks and always friendly. Rohan was always friendly made sure we were taken care of. The beach was amazing!

Fun Holiday Beach Resort: amazing

Overall it was good for the value this is a very nice place the staff are amazing and it was very clean the location really can't be beat the only issue was the bugs make sure you have bug spray I would go back here for sure.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Good Times in Jamaica

This was our mother & daughter trip we both enjoyed in early June 2015. As my daughter is away in universtiy and working all summer, this was our way to relax and reconnect. The weather was sunny, no crowds in June so there were no line-ups or mad rush to "reserve" a spot by the pool or the beach. The beach had white sand, with a very gentle slope, there were plenty of shade/trees which was nice to get repreive from the sun. Our tripcentral agent Nicole helped us to ultimetly decide on this resort, and we were very pleased. I would recommend it for anyone who needs to get away and relax Jamaican style.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Second time there!

Hotel has not changed physically over the past two years. Was disappointed as when we arrived we thought we had the same package and inclusions as our last trip but came to find out that was not the case. Had to pay to upgrade to our desired package upon arrival. Food was okay but feel like it may be slipping a bit. Wether once again in Jamaica was phenomenal and if you do go you must go to the luxury adult only as it is really te only way to enjoy the resort to its fullest.

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Unbelievable Service, Food & Amenities!!

Loved this place, service was absolutely incredible and we felt like Royalty our entire stay. Food was AMAZING - though our favourite was probably a tie between the Surf & Turf and Japanese A-La-Cartes. Beach was ok but pools made up for anything lacking in the sand department. We will be back!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing Resort!! Planning our trip for next April

We stayed at the Jewel Runaway Bay from May 4-11, 2015. We had the most amazing trip. My second trip to Jamaica and my husbands first and we are planning on going back next April. The rooms are spotless, the food is amazing, the staff are out of this world friendly. We were in building 3 facing the back of the resort. It was an ok but next time Id want to be facing the resort or pool view to be closer to the action and music. It would be a perfect room for those who go to bed early. We met a lot [... read more] of very nice people and long life friends. We went to every restaurant and tested every bar and grill. All were fantastic. We had 8 days of 31+ weather with no rain, lots of wind but not a drop of rain. I can deal with the wind. We stayed by the infinity pool every day and ventured over to the big pool once in a while. The beach was an arms length away from the infinity pool and one of the nicest, cleanest water I've seen. Very windy most days but calmed down in the evening. There were tons of empty chairs everywhere, every day. Go to the managers party and go talk to Scott. He doesn't seem to be approachable when you stand back but looks are deceiving. He is very friendly and takes pride in his job and the resort is improving daily. If you have a problem, (which we didn't) they fix it asap. You can tell he really cares about this resort and hopefully he treats his staff great. They seem to really like him. We went to the water park daily. Our favorite day was when the locals came in on the weekend and we got to enjoy their company and had a lot of fun on the lazy river with the little kids. We went down the slide where both of us could get on the tube, we had a blast. Most days we just went on the lazy river and relaxed. There is something for ages 0 to 95 at the water park. It's truly built with all ages in mind. We went on vacation with relaxation on our minds after the terrible NS winter and that's exactly what we did. Bugsy (cabby) took us to Ocho rios for a 5 hour trip for $80 American. On our way back we had lunch at margaritaville, met Birdman where he made us birds out of palm leaves and told us jokes. This was the only excursion we went on. So if you're looking for a small, close to everything, 4+ resort with friendly staff and very family oriented in every way. This is the place for you. So don't sweat the small stuff and just relax and enjoy. Because we apologized to the staff for the actions of some guests who we didn't even know, as they were just down right rude and there was really no need to be. The staff just smiled and said thank you.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fantastic Resort

The resort was well laid out and accessible to everything in a 5 minute walk. The staff is amazing and very welcoming. If you happen to bring your kids along, then they will be in great hands in the kids club and will be entertained all hours of the day. The food was great at most restuarants and worth a try. The beach was out of this world with a coral reef accessible to do snorkeling right there. The water park was awesome and again if kids are with you, they will be entertained for hours. Couples Negril: Top Notch

This is probably the best resort ever, and we have stayed at many over the years. The staff are superb, cannot do enough to help. The rooms are clean, and well laid out. The ambiance is very good, due to the excellent condition of the facility, and the plentiful supply of towels for the beach and room. This is enough to mitigate the horrible experience with Air Canada Rouge, arguably the worlds worst.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

Overall the Gran Bahia Principe was a great place to vacation with the Family. Food and People there are amazing. Rooms are very clean but in need of some updating. The Grill and The Mikado are very good restaurants, the Italian which I was looking forward to the most was not good I would pick another one over this. Overall great first trip Jamaica and I would go back to this resort again.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Iberostar Suites is the spot!

Rooms are nice an modern. Amazing and friendly staff. Food is Top notch! Can't get enough of it. 24 hr room service to boot :) The staff get you what you need, when you need it. The grounds are always immaculate, and the staff treat you like friends and family. Tipping is not required, but come on the average jamaican makes $20-30 USD. The beach boys in the evening are cool, talk to them nicely and theyll be nice back, don't be afraid of them. They have cool things.

Sandals Montego Bay: Perfect size for quick getaway

Great resort. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great beach. Lots to do or plenty of places to relax. Sandals never disappoints. Close to the airport which was just what we needed for a quick getaway!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Good trip

If you don't mind walking aprox. 10 mins to the nicer beach area, then this place is for you. The food was great, service is great. The liquor is watered down, with no blenders for the bartenders to make specialized drinks. Internet is slow with 1 hour of free service per day.

Riu Ocho Rios: awesome trip

Great place to stay. Food was good and a plenty all hours of the day and night. Beer could have been colder good variety of girly drinks that were cold and slushy. Alacart was very good. Highly recommended resort. Would definitely go back.
