Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic Resort

This is an amazing hotel Very friendly staff, the food was great, there were a lot of choices. The A'lactate has a very nice ambiance. The entertainment was good I enjoyed every minute of it. The ground is beautiful and the welcome on arrival was special. My only negative review is on housekeeping. One say we had no change of towels, the next say no face cloth or shower gel. Sandals Dunn's River: Loved it , would return :)

Was my first time in Jamaica,,, traveled with my boyfriend. We found this resort just stunning , the grounds are well maintained with flush vegetation, the entrance is welcoming, the staff is always ready to assist you and very friendly. Right at the minute you arrive to the hotel you feel like home. It used to be a Sandals and they have maintained the same level of service. the beach a bit small, but private and still enough space,,, no fighting for a cushion chair. always available. the pool s [... read more]tunning,, you can even swim at night, the food was delicious, nooooo complaint about Jamaican food ,,, Entertainment was not heavy,,, giving time to relax and enjoy a drink along the beach at night.. But they did organized some events which was fun . thinking of returning in November :)

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing resort !

Over all the best resort Ive been to so far. Could not ask for any better with food, cleanliness and staff. Beach and pool areas were clean and well organized with activities for all ages, Nightly enteryainment was also fantastic !

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Value

This was our 2nd visit to this resort in a year. Overall it was a fantastic trip. The resort is huge but well laid out and easy to get around. It was very clean and well maintained although starting to look a big worn in spots. The food was great with lots of selections at the buffets. We really enjoyed the smaller adults only Palmyra buffet for breakfast every morning. The beach restaurant was also awesome with the best jerk chicken I've ever had. We loved all of them and actually cancelled our reservation at the Picasso so we could go back to the Don Pablo!! The pool is huge and very clean. There are lots of shade palapas but we still had go down every morning before 7 to reserve one with our towels otherwise the only loungers available were in the sun. The portion of the pool closest to the lobby was party/play central with lots of activities and music. Closer to the other end is much quieter and faster service at the pool bar. The beach was great, we went as far as you could go as it was the quietest with a bar and bathroom nearby. We only went to 1 show at the square (they have one every night at 9:45). It was a bit cheesy but entertaining. Missed the Michael Jackson show on Sunday but heard it was great. No problems with maid service or lack of clean towels....all was good there. Asked at the lobby that they replace our clock because it kept losing time but nobody ever came. Also had a call one morning offering us breakfast in bed because "we were special" so we ordered and were told it would be there shortly. 90 min later nothing so we called room service and they had no idea what we were talking about. Frustrated and hungry we went to the buffet! Service for the most part was just alright. Not a true 5 star in that capacity, just too slow (even for Jamaica) and unreliable. The staff was quite friendly though and we always felt welcomed. Overall it's a great value for the money spent. We will return again someday I'm sure but not for few years because there are other resorts we want to try out.

The food was not the greatest seem to be left overs from the day or two before, the room was not what we booked but did move us the next day, room looked slapped together, tv some time works, overall not great

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Perfect!

The entire resort was awesome. Beautiful beach, great water park, immaculate grounds and fantastic food!! The rooms were big enough for the 4 of us and had a large balcony with furniture. Pools were fabulous and never crowded. A perfect vacation:)

Secrets St James: Beautiful resort!

Everything at secrets St James was amazing! The food was exceptional and service was better than I have experienced at other resorts. All the employees go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. A big thanks to Marvin the bartender, he was so nice and friendly and every night made me a special desert drink which was so tasty!! The grounds were kept beautiful and people there worked very hard. I can't wait to go back! Thank you for making this a fantastic vacation!!

Couples Tower Isle: Honeymoon heaven!

We went to couples tower island for our honeymoon. It did not disappoint. The food is fantastic, the staff are wonderful, excursions are included and the rooms are spotless. Got to get up early to get a spot at swim up bar pool but loads of space at the beautiful beach. We went over Christmas and the daytime entertainment was great - rasta claus gave out gifts and we had our pics taken in a Jamaican bobsled!

It was a wonderful experience the food was delicious , the service excellent the people were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable. Would go back in a flash .I will definitely tell my friends and family.

Sunset at the Palms: Fantastic resort

This place is a hidden away gem. Spent two weeks for our 20th anniversary. Couldn't have loved it more. If you want to relax, enjoy nature this is the place for you. All the staff are great but Carla at reception desk and Kirk at the pool bar were our favourites. Food is good and no line ups for anything. Will definitely return.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: The Jewel Runaway Bay Resort was excellent!

The food was amazing - have no complaints about it - all restaurants were good. The pool area was also very good. The service was great. Staff was friendly and inviting. Felt like I was at home. Didn't want to come back!

Riu Negril: A definite 'must' visit destination!

I have traveled to many tropical locations over the past 20 years (various countries). Riu Negril is for sure one of the nicest I've been to. Clean, friendly staff, great food, lots to do...PERFECT!!!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Family Vacation

Rooms were ok. Stand up showers, no tub/shower combination. Rooms had AC. Way too many mosquitos! Kids enjoyed the water park. But was over populated with local excursions/field trips. Food was ok. Not a lot of variety. The A-la-carte restaurants were great though! Much better service provided by staff in the a-la-carte restaurants. Service/staff at General food area/bars were mediocre for a '4 star' hotel. A bit young, inexperienced and slow. Wait times were too long. Weren't very informative o [... read more]r went 'the extra mile'. I stayed at the Jewel Dunn's River last year. Services/accommodations were exceptional! Was expecting the same from Runaway Bay. Kids had a great time. Camp counsellors at the kids/twenies camp were great. Kept the kids entertained. Which gave parents some time for themselves. We enjoyed our stay at Runaway Bay. Was just expecting a bit more service and better food.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Amazing Resort

The rooms are a little dated, but clean and very, very comfortable. The grounds are impecable. Loved the hammocks & sitting areas whilst strolling through the grounds. The food, plentiful & very tasty. Make sure you check out the pizza place. Nothing like champagne & orange juice while you are waiting for your pizza. The premises are being upgraded and my suggestion is for more washroom facilities on the grounds. If you don't have a great time at the Jewels, then I can honestly say the problem is YOU!!! Sandals Montego Bay: Amazing

A dream come true!! The workers are so helpful and friendly! Felt totally relaxed while there! Food was amazing! Back again next year but will stay longer. Rooms were very clean and the beach was well taken care of.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Perfect for teh family

The hotel was big but never over crowded. The beaches were great and the best part was the snorkelling was fantastic. Perfect conditions for kids to snorkel in a safe bay. Rooms were great. Tennis courts were good too and you could get private lessons if you wanted.

Beachcomber Club: Great little resort! Feels like home.

Great location on the 7 mile beach. Perfect for walking and the best sunsets. Small enough to get to know all the guests and staff. The front entrance of this hotel needs work but don't let the first impression fool you. All staff are friendly and inviting. Food was simple but very good!!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Fabulous Hotel

The food is excellent and the site is very well maintained. The villas are spacious , incredible views of the sea and the outdoor shower was exoticism. I recommend this hotel for people who like to go to the pool because is the biggest I've ever seen.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Would not go back.

The pools, grounds and food was good. The service, cleaniness of room and beach not so good. The flight with Air Transit not so good. Bought the Option Plus upgrade and then had to prove that I had it. They were assuming I was trying to lie. Was not too impressed

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Really nice resort with friendly staff

the grounds are well kept, the staff are very welcoming. the jamaican food is great. the breakfast at little river buffet always serve satisfying. they have enough activities for everyone of all ages.
