Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: I didn't want to leave!!!

The resort was big! But everything was central which was awesome.. nice big pool, buffet and lounge with free wifi!! The night entertainment was great, and the drinks were even better!! Can't wait to go back

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: One of the best vacations!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings. Maybe a little more rain than expected and probably would chose January or February if was to return. Basically a first class place!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing

Stayed at the Grand Bahai in Jamaica, Mexico and Punta Cana. Absolutely love this Chain! Food was great! Staff very friendly and accommodating! Rooms very spacious and clean! Always something to do and new things to see.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful resort.

This resorts grounds, rooms and dining areas were very well maintained. This resort has a beautiful beach with easy access to areas for food and drink. Many pools to use and places for kids to play at (swim water park and mini put).

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Beautiful Resort!

The resort was amazing, it is lush and well taken care of. The food was great, although you could reserve and go to different restaurants the buffet was just as great. The staff were very accommodating. It was a great vacation and I would not hesitate to recommend it and go back soon.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: 5 star? Give it 6 or 7!

When you have tears leaving, you know it's been a great holiday. We stayed at the Coba three years before so decided to stay at the adults only this time and it was without regret. This allows you to go to the Akumel, tulum and Coba, yet have the smaller numbers and quiet at your own resort I loved the little tapas, the indidual smaller portions at this resort, as well as more adult food at the buffet. Everything was so well displayed and elegant. White napkins and table clothes at every meal.  [... read more]The food is equally as tasty at the 24 hour snack bar. We exchanged pool towels at leisure and on trust that we'd take two, giving back the wet two. All staff were polite and accommodating. People should realize tipping is how these people survive so get lots of American dollars bills before you arrive and don't forget to leave a tip for maid service before you leave. Our bar fridge was filled daily by another staff member, with chips, pop, water and small bottles of liquor. I love the trolley service from resort to resort with the drivers so eager to just get you to where you want to go. The entertainment is smaller scale at this resort in the evening so we simply checked the board each morning and mostly skipped over to the Tulum after supper. The beach is long allowing for long sandy walks. The gym could be updated with a little more modern equipment but it was busy during the times I went in the morning proving that a workout could get done. Watch out for big lizards. They love to sun on the sidewalks, grass trunks etc. A visit to the Hacienda is a must for shopping or eve. Dancing. Do not miss the Brazilian restaurant. The ocean view is spectacular and the food second to none. This is a fun evening. Delicious salad bar. Special cocktails are made in the lobby at 6:00. It is an hour 15min from the airport. The resorts saving grace is that it's worth the drive. I cannot recommend this resort enough. We were totally pampered! We have been to the Baha'i in Montego Bay, to Punta Caca, Cuba, etc. After a day, we knew why we'd come back here. Just Go! You won't be disappointed. Have a margarita for me. Enjoy!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great all round resort

This is second visit to Coba. We took my daughter and her family which included a four year old and year and a half old infant. We had a great time. The kids enjoyed slide park, shallow pool and beach including trolley rides.. the trolleys ran very frequently a huge bonus! Facilities were clean; the food was good and rooms great.. dampness was initial problem but hotel cleared up this with dehumidifier.also we were given room requirements as we needed! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Always great!

Our fourth visit to Sian Ka'an and not at all disappointed...well maintained and wonderfully relaxing! This resort maintains and improves over the years.Dining food and service are excellent as always.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: TOO Much of everything!

We stayed at the Coba 2 years ago. This time , we chose the Sian Ka-an. The grounds are awesome, teaming with wildlife and birds. Cleanliness is a priority with the staff. The food selection is above all expectations. The buffet themed nights are inspiring. The food is plentiful, well prepared, well presented and flavorful. You have access to 4 resorts in total, including meals, pools and facilities. The Sian Ka-an has a private sectioned off beach...the Sian Ka-an is an adults only resort. Gett [... read more]ing around from resort to resort is a breeze via the frequent shuttles. The beach has lots of sand and is well populated with umbrella like shelters and chairs. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Most, although not all, the shows are very well done and entertaining...Elvis, Jersey Boys, Divas, etc. Dancing and disco available till about 2 PM. There are 24 hour food and beverage bars. Can I repeat, AWESOME vacation! Be advised, about 1 hour 15 minutes from Cancun airport.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: 5 Star Resort

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful! It is a 5 star resort. The only downfall is the size of the resort - it is huge! But because of that, it has something to offer for everyone! The beach is beautiful and sandy and warm. Downside to the beach, it wasn't as beautiful (for pictures) as it could have been due to the wave breakers out in the water. Lots of pools which are clean and warm to swim in. Lots of bars! :) The staff were all very friendly. The food was all very yummy, and again, LOT'S of variety for food choices. We were always able to find food for my 4 and 7 year old boys to eat (who are less adventurous with foods). The night shows were the best of any resort I've ever been. While I was there, they had a Frozen show for the kids, Cirque de Soleil type show and a Michael Jackson show. We visited the sister resort next door - COBA - for the waterpark for the kids. Ate at their yummy buffet by the pool. There are golf-cart trains to take you back and forth and around the resort grounds. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Great experience

The resort was immaculate. Room more than met expectations. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food, entertainment and amenities certainly didn't disappoint. If you didn't enjoy yourself, it wasn't the fault of the resort. It was our first all inclusive vacation but won't be the last. Thanks to Brian and staff at trip central. Great hotel, rooms clean. Entertainment was very good. The food was excellent.trolly to take you back and forth, especially if trouble walking. I'll be going back!. I've recommended this place to friends and family. The staff was the best!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: An ok resort

The resort was very clean , transportation around the resort was very good , food was just ok , the workers didn "t seem happy most times ,the beach was awesome and our room location was awesome .we were in building # 2 close to the beach.We all got bitten by insects up by the lobby some of us really bad.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Booked it based on the grand Bahia Príncipe in Jamaica experience last year

Unfortunately, this was the worst, and because it was a Bahia Príncipe, the most surprising trip I have ever experienced. I have been to the BP in both Tulum Mexico and Jamaica....love loved them I booked this quickly through an agent because it was a BP and I depended on the quality. My first room had a mini fridge that was old so the compressor sounded like a truck and there was construction and dust immediately across from my room entrance. I asked to relocate and requested 'any' room as [... read more] long as it is quiet. They located me across from the main pumping station for the site and the maids service area. This change required 3 trips to the front desk and waiting until after 3 pm. and when I got to the room, there were NO towels, period and no mini bar. Wallpaper was peeling, shower glass was dirt!!! They moved me again, I OFFERED to pay any upgrade fee for this THIRD move. I literally said I was desperate for a four star quality room! They insisted that I was correct to complain and they wld move me again So the THIRD day I had to go to the front desk four times to make these arrangements 9, 2 pm, come back at 330 they said, then come back at 630. At this point I went back to my shitty room and literally broke down and cried out of frustration. It took two more phone calls and the final room was ready. So Get into 2250, Cannot have a hot bath for two reasons Drain in the tub is broken and the water pressure is like a dribble, (room was great, clean, towels, in good order) Air conditioner remote did not work. Called desk They sent repair guy, he agreed the remote was not working....he turned off the at and said he would fix it the next day. That never happened Then the storm hit I lost all tap water in my room for 24 hours The next day, extensive flooding on site and the main swimming pool was closed due to SEWAGE contamination. For my last two days, not allowed in the pool or swimming at the beach due to rough water and debris. I was allowed to take out a paddle board ONE day of my entire trip. I went alone on this trip for the first time and am so glad I did not subject anyone else to these conditions. I start a new job next week and this was a quick getaway to recharge. I travel south twice per year between Jan and May This was the worst most stressful, horrible experience I have ever had. A four star?, absolutely not. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful and Huge Resort

We loved the Resort, It`s very big. Once we got used to the location of everything, navigating was easy. Beautiful beach and sand. Just a couple of negatives. Not too appreciative of all the vendors trying to sell you stuff on the beach, but they gave you room once they knew you weren`t interested. We actually bought a couple of things from them. Most of the staff were great and would do anything for you, but a few bartenders and waiters were not very friendly. One waiter in Buffet w [... read more]as very rude. The only other negative was the bugs in the evening in the lobby area. Couldn't see them or feel them, but could see the results in the morning. Nasty and very itchy. Everything else was excellent. Very beautiful gardens, sitting areas, great food. Very clean Resort. I Loved the fact that there was so much to do. You could be very busy at the main pool, go and relax in peace and quiet at one of the quieter centrally located pools or go to the beach (where we spent most of our time). There was something for everyone. All in all, we loved the place and would definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Exceptional Time

We had an incredible time. The resort was large enough to offer many areas to enjoy but not so large that walking it was a chore. We highly recommend the beach front towards the left of the property (when facing the water). It is a semi-private oasis that had it's own bar and jerk chicken service. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Excellent vacation!

Beautiful resort, great staff, great food, rooms a bit dated but still very clean, beautiful beach and pools - no complaints whatsoever other than a bit of rain but rain is better than snow - would go back in a heartbeat!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: We where very happy with our stay at the Grand Bahia Principe.

Very nice resort, clean & plenty of entertainment. The Grand Bahia side has more to offer than the Luxury side. Not worth spending the extra money. Good food. The employees are amazing. If you like long walks on the beach this one is beautiful but short lived, & about shoulder deep, very rocky. Has a private nude beach, great for snorkelling, lots of reefs.
