Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Fun in the sun!

The hotel room was clean and well stocked with water and pop daily. The food at the restaurants was superb. We enjoyed all the activities and entertainment choices. The check out process was easy and quick.

Posada Real Puerto Escondido: Top Knotch Vacation!

We stayed for 10 days in March 2026. The location is perfect; far enough away from crowds to feel private, but close enough to town for all conveniences, snacks and treats. I felt perfectly safe. Our room was cleaned immaculately every day. The air conditioning was high quality. The buffet was entirely satisfactory. The staff are great, really attentive and friendly. The beach is stunning, and so is the corresponding beach club. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Great value for the price.

Riu Palace Peninsula: Great stay

Our family of six spent a week here over March break. Things we loved: staff, that it was easy going (not fussy about the small things), enough or almost enough chairs, the food was great… probably our family’s fave buffet ever, and we go to a lot of resorts, drinks, it was clean,..sand & water are nice. Things that were fine: rooms, [... read more] elevators. Things that could be better. Well- the beach- but that can’t be helped. I love a long beach that’s not rocky. You can’t really get in a long walk here. The gym. Honestly- it’s not great. It’s too small for the size of the resort, and therefore nearly always too busy in the mornings. The layout stinks. There’s not much space to lay out mats & exercise. It would be nice if there was a swim up bar that all ages were welcome to. As well as a hot tub on site. All in all we had a great time. Would I go back? No- but only because I need a good walkable beach & gym.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Great Resort

Our stay at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and every public area was clean and welcoming. The rooms were fantastic—comfortable, modern, and a perfect place to relax after a day in the sun. Dining had a great variety and The Grill a la carte restaurant was delicious! One of my favorite spots was the rooftop Sky Bar—amazing views of the sunset, a great atmosphere, and the perfect place to unwind. The adult- [... read more]only infinity pool overlooking the ocean was truly breathtaking and quickly became my go-to spot. And of course, the beach… absolutely stunning. You can walk for miles along the shoreline, which made it even more special. I would highly recommend this resort and would happily return!

Breathless Cancun Soul: Beautiful ocean view

The room was beautiful and an ocean view,which was an upgrade. We were treated well with decent service. The food in the restaurants were also delicious. We were at the French/mexican and buffet. The room was very clean when we checked in. Maintenance was reasonable some improvement on general cleaning like floors/bathroom area could have been more detailed. El Cozumeleno Beach: Amazing snorkeling off of beach!

The beach is small but steps away. Our room was spacious, we had beautiful views off the balcony. The staff was friendly but not always attentive. The only thing I didn't like was the food. There were only two places to eat and the buffet was small. It lacked variety from day to day. The options were rather pathetic.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Had a great time

We had a shaky start since we arrived late (past midnight). Seemed to be no one around to greet us. There was only one woman at the front desk and they didn't get the email about our friend's milestone birthday, but they worked with us to help make things better and ensure we ended up having a fun trip. We particularly enjoyed the water aerobics with Emmanuel and Rodrigo, the salsa lessons by the pool with Rodrigo, and Angel was such a great server who took care of our needs poolside. Helen, Tam [... read more]ara, and Erika were also helpful in making things up for us and listening to our needs.

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa and Beach Resort: Marina El Cid

Hotel rooms we very clean and well kept. Marina pool was definitely set up for children. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was difficult getting reservations at the various A la cart restaurants, it seemed like they were limited. Would definitely recommend to someone with children

The hotel itself was not large. The layout made it easy to get around. Rooms: Decent. Our first room had a leak near a light and this caused us to move to another room with a connecting door which we did not like because we could hear the people in the room next to us. Service: Front desk when we checked in was not warm nor welcoming. Even if our arrival was early morning the person should have been more welcoming. We also messaged the resort several times explaining we are celebrating our [... read more] friend's 50th and would have liked something special. We did not receive anything special until we asked for them to send up some thing two days into our stay. The front desk person said she would arrange something but it was not done. We saw many other doors on our floor with a ribbon/sash that said happy birthday, happy anniversary, congrats honeymoon. So, we were disappointed. The entertainment staff were very good. The food was decent. The italian and seasalt grille were the best. The breakfast buffet had variety. The asian and steak house were our least favourite. I wish the next question below had a maybe option because I am not sure if I would recommend this resort. If there was an exceptional deal I would. But, if it was the same price as other comparable resorts I would not recommend.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa El Beso: Great experience beautiful place

It was a great resort. We had a lot of fun. Everything was very clean. The room was very nice. Our trip was with a group of friends. I on the other hand would not pick a resort that big but for people that like a lot of space it was a great place. The entertainment was really good and the workers were very very helpful and very very nice

Krystal Puerto Vallarta: Low Budget resort

Hotel very dated. The oldest of the Krystal’s Not a lot of greenery etc. we had superior ocean view. The view was breathtaking!! Very large delightful beach No fridge in room. Could not close bathroom door as frame was falling off. But shower was new and great. 1a la carte. Asian.reservations required. It was good. Italian à la carte you didn’t have to have reservations. Royalton CHIC Cancun: Lovely and Lively Hotel.

The hotel is very elegant and has a great location which is close to shopping and also the bus stop. I enjoyed the gym and restaurants, especially the buffet. They also have a coffee shop that I visited almost daily. This is a busy, lively hotel that appeals to all ages (adults). I had a great time!

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: A fun, enjoyable and exciting 2 week getaway

Extremely enjoyed ourselves, the accommodations were dated which added to the authenticity of the area, but very clean and comfortable. Everything in our room worked including a free safe and fridge and the a/c worked perfectly. The area was fantastic for walking and commuting around, being right in town and all that goes with that and the access to the other 2 Decameron hotels really added an extra dimention to the experience. The singing egg lady was always nice to see every morning. Pedro, in the alcarts was a fantasticaly friendly guy who had a great sense of humor and wonderful service skills, and we enjoyed the meals at both restaurants. Our chamber maid who kept our room spotless and maintained throughout our stay, ensured we always had everything we needed. The beach was beautiful (you could walk for almost an hour to the river which was wonderful. Even the beach vendors were courteous and didn't hound you. The ocean was calm and shallow to wade into and quite warm. All 4 swimming pools were glistening clean and great to cool off in. Bartenders were all nice to deal with, very friendly and extremely efficient and the beer was ice cold, perfect. Checkin was easy, checkout not so easy, at 6:15 am our arranged departure time, we found the front desk closed. Not sure if our ride to the airport was coming and no one to checkout with. We did get to the airport and all was good. All in all we would return to this resort as we had a wonderful time.

Riu Flamingos: Amazing vacation

The Reno’s are great lots of room everywhere you can always find a spot to hang out around the pools or the beach shade is an issue on the beach till the trees palm out but for $20 u can get an umbrella for the day The food is fantastic at the buffet as well as the steak house and the Italian service was great everywhere and the app is great if you need coffee beer or soda for your room they are on it right away And thank you tripcentral for the calls before and after our vacation to Mak [... read more]e sure everything went well very much appreciated

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Loved it here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this resort. The whole resort was very clean and well maintained. The service we received was exceptional! Very friendly staff everywhere we went. The food was great with lots of options. We particularly loved the coffee bar and gelato! What a treat! My husband and son made use of the gym daily. It was very well kept with lots of equipment. I participated in morning yoga and Zumba classes. All instructors were fabulous. The grounds of the resort are beautiful a [... read more]nd the rooms were very nice. We loved hanging out by the infinity pools every day. Another selling point was the resort’s proximity to the airport!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Exceeded Our Expectations!

This resort has to be the best we have ever experienced. Being elderly we were concerned about the distances to walk but with the shuttle services were so quick and accommodating; as was the service for drinks and food. The people were so kind. We cannot say enough about the entire experience. I have to say an experience because the dining areas and entertainment were exceptional. Valentin is a very elegant resort and we will certainly return.

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Never disappoints - 4th visit

This was our fourth visit to the Catalonia, we can’t find better quality or value. The food is high-quality, smoked salmon in the morning, 5th avenue outdoor lunch, great à la cart restaurants for dinner. A beautiful beach with very little sargasm, plenty of chairs, plenty of palm trees. large beautiful room in building three, overlooking the pool. A beautiful terrace to enjoy a good book and a drink. A wonderful entertainment staff offering yoga, Pilates, spinning at 10am. Salsa on the beac [... read more]h at 12 noon. Thank you Lucerno, Alen, Fabrizio. Nightly shows in the theater, to wrap up a beautiful day. A wonderful café that also offers Mexican chocolate, a real treat. Most importantly, a very happy staff, which sets the tone for the entire resort.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: 7/10

We stayed at Planet Hollywood for 7 days in the adults only-section in March 2026. Overall, we would give this hotel a 7/10 rating. The facilities itself were very good- great pools, lazy river, a movie theatre (shows about 3 movies a night) was fun and a 5 minute walk from the beach (where they cleaned the seaweed on shore daily, unlike other hotels we saw). They had lots more stuff available, but those are the things we used. Our room we'd give a 7/10. The bed itself was reasonably comfy, the sheets were razor thin (we requested an additional blanket and they provided), and the pillows were terrible. Shower pressure was also terrible. Our room was cleaned daily and our fridge was restocked with clean water, which was great. The food in general, I'd give an average 5/10. First off, my girlfriend and I both got food poisoning eating at the hotel. It only effected us for one day, but still leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The all-you-can eat restaurant was not my thing, apart from the fruit (pineapple, papaya), which was amazing. Coffee was good, but be prepared to wait in line no matter the time of the day. The ice cream was also very good- caramel and cookies and cream were my favorite! We didn't love the Italian restaurant (Caccio e Pepe and Pizza were fine, but not spectacular). The adults only restaurants were much better- highly recommend making reservations here and eating breakfast here. I had a fantastic steak and seafood at one of them for dinner (just can't remember the name). The sushi was not my thing either, but the Hibachi was fun. Our chef was super engaging and its just a fun experience to do with the kids or your partner. Pool side- they have hot dogs, tacos, both hit the spot after a few and on a hot day. Make sure you book all your reservations as soon as you arrive- we had to book Hibachi a week out from when we got there (our last night). Overall, I wouldn't say the food overall is horrible and some of the people we spoke to said they quite enjoyed it. However, when I go on a trip, I would love to eat amazing local food (which I didn't really get, everything felt Americanized) or something I can't get at home, and I just didn't get that here. Food is subjective so just take this opinion with a grain of salt. I'd recommend bringing a few snacks for late night because the ones available were sooooo expensive. The staff in general were nice. I'd recommend bringing US dollars for tips, and tipping when you can. They try and push a time-share from time to time/the spa and the excursions, but I know they're just doing there job. Pool side entertainment was a lot of fun- gave you something to do while being in the water all day. In terms of excursions, I'd highly recommend Isla Mujreres. One of the most beautiful places I've been (South side of the island on the golf cart and snorkeling in the most beautiul water I've ever seen). Deep sea fishing would have been great if we caught anything, and the waves were horrendous, but I think we were unlucky. Someone we spoke with caught 2 sail fish and a tuna! Both of these can be booked through the resort, which I also highly recommend you do. Overall, first time at an all-inclusive, and was quite happy. If food isn't a big part of what you need in an all-inclusive, I'd recommend checking this place out given the price.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: So much fun!!

The grounds on this resort were impeccable and well maintained. The food was great, minus the seafood ragout. The steak house was superb, filet was cooked perfectly. The service was above board. The variety of the buffets was great! Our ac worked intermittently, but for the most part worked when we needed it to. The rooms and resort is dated, but clean and welcoming. Front desk staff was fantastic. Pool was a perfect temperature. They do what they can regarding the seaweed.
