El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Resort Review

The hotel is beautiful, especially the lobby. The food was good as well as the entertainment and the entertainment staff. mike's cafe also amazing! While I never saw a cockroach in my room I saw about 5 outside on the walkways and one on my balcony. I've never seen one at a resort before so that was unsettling. The night with vendors, and the staff trying to get you to buy timeshares along with constant emails to purchase overpriced items was too much. For those reasons we will not return.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great employees

Beach: The beach is very nice to go for a long walk. Food: In general the food is good to very good and the employees are dedicated to giving customers a good service. BAD: They have closed 2 outdoor restaurent/buffets and have limited access to one of the best outdoor ones which included a quiet pool area that is now part of the beso/priveledge group. We ended up eating most meals in the general indoor buffet area except for when we were able to get reservations for the restaurants.  [... read more] The bathrooms need to be redone (especially shower), same for the beds although some rooms have new mattresses and they seem to have started renovating a few rooms. The beach is now reduced to approximately 20-30 feet wide when the tide is low and can rise up to the beach chairs which are now right in front of the flower bed area. There is only one row of palapas available due to the loss of beach frontage.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: The Trip from Hell!!!

Your booking number for this purchase is 22703854 We arrived at our resort on October 24th at 130 pm . We arrived at the check in desk of Ocean El Faro Adults Only Side at130 but our room was not ready until 430pm so we waited in the hotel lobby as requested and check back every 15minutes. Everyone else on our flight which was 28 couples were checked in at 130 to 2pm. Once in our room we had a bathroom sink leaking as the base needed to be recaulked and this took 24 hours, and 2 days later we w [... read more]oke up to our unit having several flood’s which I’ve included photos..there was a leak at the front entrance from the ceiling we filled a garbage can more than once throughout the night ….next we had the roof deck also flooded as the water from rainfall was going down the drain instead was going through the ceiling walls only to find out it was dripping on the middle of our King bed all night and our undergarments were soiled. We called a front desk once again and after several hours of speaking with reception and having them send workers to inspect and confirm the damage as they took pictures of all the damages they approved a room change to a smaller suite then what we initially had . Our original suite wasRm11307 and now we are in 16316. This took our entire day as we weren’t moved into the suite once the damages were confirmed at10am but we were moved at 4pm as they said no rooms were available even though we felt after all these issues we deserved the best suite the resort has to offer but that was not their mindset. Less than 24 hours of being in Rm 16316 we experienced another leak issue in our main bathroom and it was heavy leak coming through a electrical light receptacle. We used a trash can to collect the water and then informed the Front Desk. They sent service men to document and take pics of the damages and said we would receive a room change. We never heard back from the Front Desk and based on all the leaks we had experienced we also didn’t feel a room change would resolve anything. Also this leak totalled destroyed the bathroom ceiling as drywall and sediment was everywhere.At this point we were worn down and depleted so thought it best to remain calm and Collective . So in conclusion i want to reiterate that we received no room upgrades for any of these inconveniences but they did offer a late check out on Tuesday to compensate for check in mishap but we informed then that this wasn’t an offer that we could benefit from since our flight leaves At 230pm and we would Board the bus that morning at 10am. We were also offered a couple more alcarte restaurant options but we didn’t end up using them as the food was tastier in the main dining room. So we lost 2.5 days of our 7 day trip and had to relocate rooms and repack and not once did a senior or junior manager deal with any of our issues. We also notified in person our air canada rep who went by the name JC and he also Never responded to us on the early checkin fiasco. So now I’m looking for compensation as this is below standard customer service and no guest should ever be treated with a lack of respect and service as the above message clearly indicates the issues we suffered and endured. El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Exceeded Expectations

My oldest daughter and I stayed on the adults only side. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. People always looking after the grounds especially after it rains or a windy day. Our room was very clean and modern looking with lots of closet space and beautiful decor. Food was great with good selection at buffet. It was nice to have all the restaurants along the main street between the adult's and family side of the resort. Made it more easy. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: very nice resort

had a great stay, the people were very friendly and helpful, wheelchair accessibility was excellent, made the trip easy! Beach is nice, grounds and rooms kept spotless, great variety of food, plentiful drinks, lots of lounges by the ocean and pools.

Every day they had different variety of dishes to choose from , i never got bored of eating . We were there on halloween and they made custom halloween dishes for people to try, It was the cutest thing ever . The rooms were also very clean , modern bright and spacious and house keeping was always on point . The entertainment was also lots of fun ! Every day from morning to night there is always something going on for the families . From cooking classes , volleyball , soccer , fun games amongst other things to do . They have a weekly and hourly calendar that is posted on the wall that shows all their events . The entertainment shows at night were a lot of fun to watch, they had professional dancing shows , circus acrobats , karaoke and so much more . The hosts were very energetic as well . From 10:30 pm 12:00 every night they had a kid friendly outdoor dance party every nigh which was a lot of fun . I kind of wish they had an adult after party indoor club and dj that went on a bit later then 12 for those of us that wanted to continue to dance and party . But then again this is considered a family friendly hotel so i can see why they don’t have a club. The dj does need to work a bit on his mixing and music choices when changing songs. As it didn’t flow nicely but he did try his best still fun overall . Beach was nice and clean , although it was Seaweed season and i wish they would’ve cleaned up the seaweed more frequently to make it more aesthetically pleasing. They had lots of pool space and chairs which was nice . The Bars , ice cream parlours , fresh juice bars , coffee shops was also a nice little treat for everyone . Overall it was an amazing experience and i highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a reasonable family friendly hotel without jeopardizing any of the normal luxurious you would expect to receive . Ocean Coral Y Turquesa . You all went above and beyond for your guests and it didn’t go unnoticed . Great Job ! Will be recommending you to all my friends .

Ocean Blue and Sand: We will be back!

We had an absolutely fabulous time here! This was my second time first time during covid and I'm glad I came back. Staff are amazing, food was great so much to do we actually firhot to do an excursion. Great value for the money.

Ocean Coral Spring: Resort is spectacular

Grounds was well taken care of, restaurants superb, rooms were great despite the fact that some days face cloth and towels were not put in room, service was very prompt and always accommodating, beach was not the greatest lots of rocks in water, overall the resort is fabulous, shows after dinner was amazing

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Beautiful resort NOT impressed with trip central’s service

Hotel staff and food, pool and beach is beautiful. When we reached at the airport (flight was late about 40min) no one was there to pick us up it was night time. This is our first time here, we were very scared they told us the transit had left after waiting we need to take a private taxi. The taxi guy came told us we need to pay $78 USD Our cards didn’t work then we told us if we are paying cash it’s going to be $130USD We end us paying him $100 US cash. Ocean El Faro: A one time

Hotel is nice, food not what I expected. Canadians…no bacon for breakfast! Only a handful of staff enjoy their job. As the the rest, service is horrible. Poor management I would say. Staff turn their backs towards a line up of customers and they chit chat, their conversations are more important than your presence.

Ocean Coral Spring: Very chill and relaxing resort

It is a clean and very well kept resort. Relaxing, quiet, with a beautiful sunset seen throughout the resort. Food and drinks all hours 😌 😋 Chill, hardworking and friendly staffs. If you like to enjoy things slow and to just relax I recommend this place.

Ocean El Faro: Worst experience

Walking in the hotel on the first day and seeing the lobby was beautiful however, everything from that point onwards was terrible. The rooms smell musky and mouldy, the sheets felt dirty and the bathroom did not have face cloths. I had to change room when I got there because the room smell really bad and I was traveling with my 3 years old. I also travelled with my dad and 3 days into the trip, I had to take my dad to the doctor because he could not breathe in the room which cost my brother and  [... read more]I $430 US after which as soon as he was out of the room, he immediately started breathing better. My brother looked at the air filter that is supposed to be white and it was black. The food was terrible, if you are not traveling privilege, please don’t go there. This is the worst experience I have had in all my vacations over the years. I have requested to talk with a manager 3 days before leaving and I was not able to because he was not available. One morning I woke up and my entire body was swollen ( my skin get swollen and itchy when exposed to dirt). The room feel damped all the time, your money and clothes feel damped and if the bed. Ocean Eden Bay: Incredible Experience and Worth every dollar

This hotel is a beautiful example of a 5-star all-inclusive resort. My boyfriend and I decided to go to Ocean Eden for our anniversary and we were picked up from the airport and delivered to the hotel after an hour bus ride through the beautiful coast. At the hotel, the check-in process was easy and the room was available before the 3 o'clock check-in time. The garden view of our room was amazing and we sat in the cool egg-hanging chairs on the balcony and watched the thunderstorms go by (when it did rain an hour a day) and would have a red stripe beer (complimentary in all rooms) The hotel had fantastic restaurants that are worth staying on the adults-only side for because you can go use the Coral Springs amenities but they can't come to Ocean Eden so it was WORTH IT for the small price difference. Go to the Blue Moon restaurant it was AMAZING! Our beach was rocky but with the most beautiful, bath-warm water in the world. You could see all the way down to the bottom and the staff are always working hard to clean the seaweed off the beach, no matter what side you are on. The night shows of the steel drums, one love show, and water ballet were awesome. The ocean Eden side was a private beach whereas the coral springs had a section where people could come and sell things on the beach, but they never bothered the beachgoers. So if a private beach is important to you, do the Ocean Eden side. Even if you go to Ocean Eden you can use all the beaches, but kids can't come to the adult side. Overall, all the staff were wonderful. The help we received from the front desk, the cooks and waiters, the lifeguards and towel people, and the activities coordinator, all took care of and remembered each clientele as they came in. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel. They take care of their guests and show them a beautiful time in Jamaica. We will certainly be returning to this hotel and recommending it to others in the future. Thank you Ocean Eden for such a wonderful experience. The people who work there made this travel experience unforgettable.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Unbelievable Resort

We were at the resort the week of Sept 23-30. This was by far the best resort we have ever visited and we generally visit 2-3 properties per year. The food at the buffet was absolutely incredible. The a la carte dinners and fine dining were the equivalent of eating at fine dining restaurants here in Canada. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service matched. We didn’t do the privilege but truly didn’t need it as the resort was not crazy busy. If there was anything we would fix about the resort it would be the following to make it absolutely perfect. The service at the buffet for breakfast was pretty bad. We would have to walk around to find a server to get coffee as no one would come to our table. They only operated 1 trolley cart all week from the beach to the Lobby and staying at the Eden wing made for a lot of walking as we would wait 15-30 mins for the trolly to show up only to find it was full and have to end up walking anyways. The Sunwing Vacations Reps Juan Carlos & Antonio were the rudest most unhelpful men we have ever met in our lives. We went to find out the departure time and they would not help us at all. Told us to come back later and we’re rude and ignorant about it. It took me 3 minutes to get this information on the sunwing app after walking away from them. I then went back to get their names so I could report it to Sunwing and they fabricated a story that I called them Assholes to the Air Transat Reps and that they were going to report me 😂. They should both be removed from this hotel and do not belong in the vacation industry. We have travelled with Sunwing multiple times for years and would never travel to Mexico with them again after this experience. The resort more then made up for those 2 items and did not make them an issue that had any impact on our trip. This is 100% a 5 ⭐️ resort and one that we will definitely be coming back to and recommending to family and friends. My wife and I both celebrated our birthdays on this trip and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable.

Ocean El Faro: not a 5 star but a wonderful vacation

Everything was fine. Except the staff that work at the hotel were a little bit uptight. They should be a little bit more friendly...... Food was great and the Beach/Pools was good as well..... Overall Rating I would say 4 stars out of 5...

Ocean Coral Spring: Beautiful Resort!

This resort is very well maintained and the staff are very responsive to guests needs. The food was exceptionally good for all meals and there were many choices. You will always find something that you desire to eat! The drinks were very good quality with champagne available at breakfast. The music and entertainment were extremely well done and very enjoyable. It started at around 7pm (Jamaica Time) and continued until around 11pm. They covered a variety of music types including Pop, Jazz and Reggae. The night shows were also very well done. There was also a Disco for late night entertainment. There were daily activities during the day time which many guests enjoyed. The Ocean and the Beach were terrible and the worst that I have been to!! This should be corrected!! The Rooms were clean and spacious with readily available Towels as required. The swimming pools were large and well maintained. There were Bars everywhere so drinks were readily available as required. Pay special attention the Beach because many guests are complaining about this. Fix this problem if you would like to have "repeat guests" and positive recommendations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing hotel

We stayed at this resort from September second to September ninth and we had an amazing time. Hotel is very nice, clean, people are very friendly and welcoming. Didn’t have any issues with checking in. Food is excellent, always fresh and delicious. Beach is not the best but we walked to the right and there was nice clear water and we could swim. Ocean El Faro: Disappointed

Sadly my experience at Ocean El Faro did not meet my expectations. The service is slow. I received the wrong room type on arrival and had to wait until Monday evening for a room to be available. I had an terrible experience at Route 66. I ordered a burger and fries noticed my burger was under cooked and found a worm larva wiggling on my finger. I thought I was going to vomit. My App was not working for the first 2 days so I was unable to book a reservation at the restaurant. Upon arrival  [... read more]no one mentioned that everything is done using a QR Code scanner. It was so frustrating, I spoke with 6 different people trying to get my issue resolved, however they did not know how to help me. I finally threatened to file a complaint and that is when the customer service rep took action to help me get my issues resolved. Once my issues were addressed the remainder of my stay was OK. The resort is beautiful. however the service is slow and the process of booking reservations needs to be improved
