JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Beautiful Resort

This resort was more than expected! It was beautiful, clean and the staff were wonderful. The food was amazing and the choices for off property excursions was fantastic! We had a wonderful time and would come back again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you so much for making my first resort experience a great one to remember!

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Amazing resort!!

We had the best time at Iberostar Selection Esmeralda. Specifically, the staff couldn’t have been better. The entertainers (Jackson, Billy, Yaris, Alejandro and Angel). The staff in the buffet went above and beyond as well. Would highly recommend this hotel for a great time, great beach and great memories!!!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great resort! Great time!

My sister and I stayed at Iberostar Daiquiri Cuba June 13-20. It was my second time and even better. Great weather. The resort was so clean, the food so plentiful and varied, the à la cart restaurants were great. We even had lobster. They cleaned the pools daily and the pools were great as was the beach. Coffee at the front bar was the best. Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Iberostar Playa Pilar

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Grounds were beautifully kept. Rooms were very clean. The dinning room for the buffet was a quite warm -a/c was not working properly during our week stay and had a lot of flies flying around our table and bothering our mealtimes. The beach was absolutely amazing and tranquil..spent most of our day there instead of pool decl/ The pools' temperatures were way too warm and needed more cleaning as algue was clouding the water. Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Nice resort food was not good nor service

Just came back from this resort very stunning the resort is really big with great views the only thing I did not like was the food menu as breakfast was the same every single day and lunch dinner was different everyday though. Also staff wasn’t that helpful we wanted to order beers to the room they wouldn’t help us out also staff doesn’t speak English well so it was very big miscommunications all the time. Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Nice resort

The resort is well laid-out. Lobby bar was very good at supplying the drinks we wanted, no shortages. The buffet had a good choice, so we were always able to eat to our content. The a la carte Italian and Japanese restaurants were also very good. Although it was indicated wifi throughout the resort, I was never able to logon from our room #4222. We were able to logon only in the lobby. The room was nice except they didn't wet mop the room for the full week that we were there, resulting in dirty  [... read more]floors. Also had problems with the television and remotes which they had to replace. It would be good if they sprayed the principal walkways because of the prominence of bugs. By the time I got back home, I had approximately 15 bug bites on my legs that still itch even after 5 days back home. I would recommend bringing a can of bug repellent with you when you go. The pool that was near our room was very nice and had swim-up bar and a snack bar. It was also possible to go for a long walk on the beach.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Love the Daiquiri

Resort was beautiful! Nice and small for those with younger children or for those that don't want to walk lots to get from point A to point B. Lobby was beautiful and open. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Beach was AMAZING. Lots of chairs and shade. Food was good but flies were terrible!! Staff were so friendly especially the lady working the beach bar...knew our name by her next shift. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a relaxing vacation. Look forward to going back again soon!

Iberostar Selection Cancun: Great vacation after 25 years hesitation

Beautiful and pricey suite , beautiful ocean front and jacuzzi , food was very good in the buffet , super in the Italian restaurant , and mild in the Mexican. We had more variety of enchiladas, tamales, tostadas Etc in Dallas million years ago. Good entertainment and Memorable vacation overall. Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Amazing trip

This was a great vacation. Everything was clean, food was great, and the people working there were helpful and nice. We cannot wait to go back again. This was our first all inclusive because we heard many bad stories but this resort had none of them. Only good times.

Iberostar Coral Ensenachos: Beautiful beaches , wonderful staff!

Lovely resort with beautiful spacious villas, with.private hottubs. The grounds are lovely and the pool is spotless. The beach is to die for and you can go for long walks. Please be aware that this is Cuba and the food which was decent was far from exceptional The staff was amazing and always did their best to please! I will return with no hesitation!

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Swim up is wonderful

It was a beautiful resort. We saw groundskeepers every morning taking care of the property. In 7 days we went to the beach 3 days and after the beach, the swim up outside our room. I think that was our favourite part, which was why we spent all the other days at the swim up. The staff were all helpful, amazingly friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Water pressure was challenging sometimes, but it was only for a short period of time and then back to normal. The rooms w [... read more]ere clean and quite large. Lots of room to move around. We probably could have had a dance party. The food was fine. Several guests brought condiments from home, like peanut butter, jam, ketchup as they aren’t usual items that are available in Cuba. Crazy thing….cigars were not available at the cigar bar. There were none. The gift shop was independently run and the person that ran it was never there. Sometimes the light was on, the sign said open and the door was locked. The resort has no input regarding the gift shop, so if you needed anything, you could go to the market down the road a few minutes and see if you could find what you needed there. Overall, I would absolutely go back on another trip to Cuba

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing Resort

Good value for your dollars. Well kept grounds. Love the swim up bar and the size of the pool that gave the illusion of almost being in the ocean. Very friendly staff. Food was plentiful and delicious......anything you desire was there. Well stocked mini bar. Great restaurants. Suite was large and comfortable. The oversized king bed was a bonus and most comfortable. Love their environment approach of eliminating plastic water bottles. Had a system of filling large bottles (2 at a  [... read more]time) with water from filtered water machines that were located on each floor. I was impressed. They need to improve their check in process...too long.

Iberostar Coral Holguin: The Best in Cuba

The best for size, service, and relaxation. All amenities are easily accessible (very little walking) and well kept compared to other Cuban resorts. Also, even when the resort is basically full (60 rooms) there is plenty of space and no fighting for or need for reserving spots at the pool or the beach. Pool bar shuts down early for peaceful and relaxing nights.

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Romantic Anniversary/Marriage/Honeymoon Trip

We wanted something that was private and special as we were celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the day we met, exchanged wedding rings during a romantic dinner on the beach then continued with our honeymoon. Our trip also included my husband’s birthday and Mother’s Day…Iberostar Grand Bavaro was amazing!!! The beach was wonderful! We walked everyday. After seeing the other resorts along the beach (too many people, no shade or lounges, too noisy, small beach area) we knew we made the correct [... read more] choice with the Grand. Even though we are not pool people, they were very nice and the grounds were beautiful. The food at the restaurants and the buffets were exceptional, the service was always prompt and pleasant. Our room was an ocean view butler suite. It was nice but unfortunately was on the 2nd floor and was furthest from the beach which was disappointing - we had contacted Iberostar prior to arrival to confirm our “closest to the beach” request but never received a response. At check-in and after speaking with the on-site rep nothing could be done to change our room/location. We were told that agencies are only given specific blocks of rooms regardless of what they promise. However, it would have been appropriate for Management to reply to our e-mail to advise. So be aware! All of the staff at the resort were amazing - definitely 5-star! However, we really didn’t care for the “time share” type of presentation/sell tactics for other Iberostar Resorts while receiving our hotel promo coupons…stuff like that is not acceptable for a 5-Star and Management should rethink this type sales tactics. Back to the positive - now that we have experienced the Grand we plan on returning (with a few tweaks) as it was a wonderful trip and we would definitely recommend this resort!

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Iberostar laguna azul

The resort was ok. Maintenance needed on many parts of the resorts. Lights in hallways at night to see and feel safe going to your room. Staff was horrible pretty much everywhere. The odd staff 1 or 2 were nice. I Tipped them.

Iberostar Coral Holguin: This is now my GO-TO resort!!

I first discovered this resort in January 2023 and I have just returned from my 5th trip, so yes, I would say I like it! Amazing staff, spotless rooms, beautiful pool, good food, I just can't say enough good things! Being Cuba, if there is anything you just can't live without, such as condiments, I suggest you pack your own, otherwise relax and enjoy the beauty that is Cuba. I'm already booked for my next trip in October!
