A nice and cozy resort

my wife, myself , my sister and brother in law, really enjoyed the resort, we were happy by the welcoming and smiling staff attitude, the food was nice, the open bar as well, the evening events were ok, but the really nice thing is the beach and the streches of beach and sand; i liked it it was great value for money.

Over crowded for amount of staff

Over crowded for amount of staff. Food eatable but same taste day after day. Room clean, grounds nice,beach clean, service at al a cartes slow and poor, not polite. Pick up and delivery of suit cases very poor, could not get anybody on telephone for 45 minutes then cart did not arrive, had too walk with baggage nalong with many other people in same situation. Not empressed with desk.

Cuban paradise

I had an amazing time at memories! Cuba has become one of my favorite vacation spots. The people are amazing, the beaches are beautiful and the mojitis delicious. The pool is also a very fun time. Surely will return!

Okay resort with friendly people

The hotel was nice. The rooms were fairly clean although I would have loved to have a broom as the floors got worse as the week went on. The grounds were nice, there were always workers grooming the gardens. The pools could have used a cleaning there was always stuff floating around. The nightly entertainment could have been better it seemed as though the shows were put together last minute. The people were very friendly and I would have to say that was the best part of the trip. Everyone said the beaches in Cuba are beautiful but I wasn't impressed with sand as it hurt your feet.

Amazing

Great vacation spot!

Hotel was lovely. Enjoyed the pools and beach. Food was okay but very good at the al la carte restaurants. Really enjoyed the benefits if Diamond Club which included early check in and arrival drink. Also arrangement were made immediately for the al la carte restaurants and a special dinner pool side one night.

No good memories except for the beach

The beach is great, food was terrible to be expected but was bad. The room was very dated had ants and spiders that joined us. The resorts service was bad and the beer was awe fully warm every day except one. Would not return to the resort and one last piece of advice do not wait for the carts to take you around you better to walk

The hotel property is huge so be prepared to walk A LOT they do have golf carts (seats 9)but the wait for them took a while so we just walked...The exercise was great. We stayed in block 25 ( rooms 25306 25307) The plumbing in our room 306 wasn't great at all the toilet kept getting plugged up...but our kids room 25307 toilet worked great. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The TV worked great not too many channels though all Spanish with the exception of 2 including 1 movie channel which wa [... read more]s great when we needed a break from the amazing hot Sun. Block 25 is closest to the Lobby and quiet pool we were happy with this. The quiet pool was a lot nicer then the activity pool the activity pool was dirty quit often so we stayed clear from that pool which was a shame because our kids didn't want to use the water slide. The food in the main buffet was ok....lots of variety we just ate omelets every breakfast and crepes because they were made fresh in front of you. The ketchup at this resort was really good. For lunch we went to the quiet pool restaurant spaghetti and fries were tasty. Dinner we ate at the main buffet...chicken and potatoes were delicious. The desserts were so good. The service was good but most of the servers weren't very cheery at all but did a good job. We tipped very well but it didn't make a difference in service. The Beach was absolutely beautiful our favorite spot. We had fun finding shells we bought a starfish and a large seashell off of peddlers on the beach. We brought lots of gifts for the cleaning ladies and servers next time I'll bring more they appreciate anything clothes toiletries etc. . They even prefer Canadian money given as gifts not tips...we found out that they have to share their tips but not the gifts. We went for 7 day holiday it felt like a 14 day holiday. The night entertainment was amazing going to the theater every night was so much fun. The Japanese a la carte was the best. ..The Cuban was ok. The drinks and Espresso were the best at the main lobby. The Lobby is very big and impressive...The "bank" to convert your money is located in the Lobby for $120 We got $100 pesos. There's a shop in the Lobby area the prices were great. We bought bottles of Rum to bring home 26 oz for $2.95 pesos be sure to put them in your check in luggage not your carry on bag, at the airport we saw tons of Gifts and booze get confiscated from people's carry on bags :-( We had a great holiday and got amazing tans and made so many MEMORIES. We went June 6th -13th The weather was hot sunny in the day there were a few nights when it rained but not for long tropical storms are beautiful.

Truly amazing resort

I loved this resort I had a wonderful time the people were so friendly and the grounds are beautiful. First time to Cuba and it was great. The ocean as a sight to see so crystal clear. Me and my best friend went swimming with the dolphins and had an experience of a lifetime. Definitely recommend this resort I miss Cuba.

Good resort

Resort was good, but just good. We arrived in the morning around 11, but we couldn't get the room until 3pm, the staffs there were friendly enough to keep our luggage in a locked room so we can be off doing whatever. There are 24 hr drinks bars in the resort's lobby, but it's not smoke free area, and during the day it's packed with people. For nonsmokers like myself it's more than enough to turn me away from there. The room was clean and nicely ACed, but my "oceanview" room, gets barely a sidewa [... read more]ys glimpse of the ocean. I think you gotta pay for the Diamond suits to get the full on view. Otherwise don't bother. There's a good selection of buffet food there, but most of them are bland and tasteless. At least I didn't get sick from them.

Heavenly Getaway

My wife and I had the best time in a long time and to finally be able to take a trip it was a great relief to get our moneys worth for a change. The staff and service was awesome. The grounds very clean and the atmosphere was friendly. I want to come back cant wait to hit that cave bar and pools. Ocean was refreshing and beaches clean. If you haven't been I highly recommend you don't put it off.

Awesome times

Clean, tidy, huge selection of food and buffets, multiple pools, good entertainment friendly staff, amazing beach ! Lots of walking but if you catch a hold cart not too bad! Take your own ketchup ! :-)

Great place but terrible food

Beautiful hotel with a great beach but food was horrible- I expected not great food but it was far worse than expected. If you go, bring pepto bismol!!! Staff were very friendly and service was great.

Very nice resort

In general it is a very nice family resort.... A lot to do. Playground are really well maintened , staff are friendly. Entertainment is really good and changing every night so u don't get bored. I would come back.

Amazing Resort

The hotel and grounds were amazing there were lots of young people there nice big pools and slides for the kids and the beach was close by. All in all great vacation and great resort will be going back for sure soon hopefully free :)

Amazing resort

Food was great , lots of varieties , grounds was kept clean at all times, beach was amazing , room were spotless and the maids always made something nice on our bed , the resort is really big and we didn't feel crowded even though it was full , always had a quite spot to just relax . I would love to go back
