Lovely resort offering a relaxing getaway. The staff go out of their way to make your stay here an enjoyable experience, starting from the moment you arrive you will be treated wonderfully. Rooms and resort are modern and clean. Food is very good with many choices and options available - staff are very concerned of any food allergies you may have and very polite and welcoming. Coco Cafe was a favorite of ours, offering specialty coffees, snacks, desserts, ice cream, and the service was amaz [... read more]ing. Our butlers were so helpful (Rafa & Stelian) always checking in with us and giving us the details of activities that were available for that day. If you wanted a quiet day or a day filled with activity the choice was yours. I would recommend this resort and will look forward to going there again for our next vacation.

Haven Riviera Cancun: Fantastic Resort In Mexico

Resort was overall superb and highly recommended. Food was excellent with a lot of variety and was well-prepared. Serving staff were always accommodating and attentive. Only criticism of food was to make sure that the excellent soups (and morning oatmeal) are served hot, not warm. The coffee shop was excellent and friendly and had lots of tasty treats throughout the day. The service overall was excellent, professional, accommodating, warm and friendly. Our room attendant was wonderful, efficient and made lots of little extra touches to make our stay and room special. The only suggestion for the room is to try and get rid of the musty smell. When we got home, all of our clothes and luggage smelled musty. The pools and beach were wonderful. The beach was cleaned of the ocean grasses daily. The beach attendant for drinks was great. The gardens and grounds of the resort were impeccably manicured and maintained. It was wonderful to walk about the resort which was so clean and beautiful! Our butler was wonderful and helpful. The spa was very nice too. Special shout out to the 2 performing sisters and all of the Mexican dancers and singers, and to the musicians who all gave us great afternoon and nightly entertainment. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

Riu Dunamar: Great Resort

Hôtel location is great. Not far from the marina if you want to go over to Isla Mujeres, and only 40 mins away from Cancún airport and downtown. RIU also provided lots of entendement at other RIU hotels with free shuttle. That was much appreciated. VERY clean resort. Workers were constantly cleaning and we have no complaints about any cleanliness. The only « negative » to this resort was the lack of true à la carte restaurant options and no ability to book reservations like you may be typical [... read more]ly accustomed to at many resorts. All of the restaurants were buffet style with the exception of one. And one restaurant presented itself as a la carte, but the food was just played earlier and then brought to you. If you’re travelling with a large family of mixed ages, the only hassle was that you couldn’t all hang out at either of the swim up bars since kids were not allowed in the pool or in the area. The work around was a travelling bar cart fit service at one of the other two pools without bars.

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Great beach

Hotel overall was clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved the beach although it was busy during our stay and typical issues finding loungers. The food at the buffet was good with lots of choices. We weren't Star class so had challenges getting reservations at the restaurants before 9pm. The restaurants we did get into were disappointing in quality. The gym was amazing and my kids loved the upper basketball court. Biggest complaint was that the minibar was not restocked cons [... read more]istently with water and we constantly had to go to the main bar and get bottled water. My kids are teenagers and enjoyed the nightclub.

Dreams Sands Cancun Resort and Spa: Beautiful

The beach was amazing,always kept clean. The staff were wonderful,very helpful. The rooms abit dated, but it was clean.The fridge had lots of pop,water and beer,was stocked daily. We were there over Christmas time,the decorations were beautiful,they also had a dinner on the beach Christmas eve,it was so nice,every kind of food,we were impressed.The staff worked a 1 1/2 days setting up. My only complaint was my husband and I both smoke and did not realize we would have to go out in front of  [... read more]the hotel to smoke. It was not the place to send the smokers as this was where buses ,taxi's, and people with children have to walk by.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Great Party Resort!

Our stay at Royalton CHIC Cancun was a mix of highs and lows. The resort has a lively, party-oriented vibe, which is great if that’s what you’re looking for. The food was okay—not exceptional, but it did the job. One frustration was with the restaurants. While they weren’t particularly busy, it was still surprisingly hard to get reservations, which felt unnecessary and a bit disorganized. If you’re after a vibrant party resort and can take advantage of the Diamond Club perks, Royalton CHIC Cancun is worth considering. Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Loved this resort!

The grounds of the resort were well laid out and tended to, with lots of lovely outdoor seating areas just to sit and relax in the evening by the water features. The layout of the Superior Suites are extremely well-planned. I especially enjoyed the fact that the resort has its own water filtration system and provides safe drinking water. There was ample selection in food services with different ethnicities to choose from and every I ate was delicious, including the buffet. Riu Palace Peninsula: Food!

Highlight is the food and the service. Lots of employees everywhere. Great drinks. Loved that you could get fresh avocado and smoked salmon every day with the breakfast. Almost guaranteed to find shrimp every night with dinner at the buffet. Oh the Riu parties next door were quite fun. Liked the daytime one more as there were more people in the pool.

Paradisus Cancun: Horrible experience

No customer service. Took forever to get rooms. They kept telling us a manager would speak to us and no manager ever did. No hot water one day. Super long lines for anything. Ran out of beach towels. Very limited number of beach chairs and the only way to get a shaded spot was to pay an additional $250 per day for a cabana “bed”. The staff kept saying how they were short staff and the place seemed to be slowly falling apart.

Riu Palace Las Americas: Las Americas-Great Place!

This is the first time we stayed here and it was a fantastic stay with beautiful rooms and fantastic food. The hotel is an impressive building itself. Snorkelling was also great on the beach with a lot to see. Thank you RIU

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres: A-1 Resort

This was a beautiful resort with great staff, great food, clean and modern all in the middle of tropical trees and a beautiful ocean. The quality of the food was amazing entertainment was great as well. Was always something to do see or eat and lots of places to relax.

Temptation Resort & Spa: Incredible vacation

Temptation resort in Cancun, is bar none, the best resort I've ever stayed and vacationed. Thr staff are so friendly, professional and go beyond to please. Was very impressed with the young woman at the coffee shop in the mornings, she made me feel so welcomed. Cleanliness is 100 percent, food, entertainment, and location.

We stayed in a skyview plunge pool room with a wonderful ocean view The room was well appointed The mini fridge contained pop, beer and water all of which was restocked regularly The food at the Japanese, French, Seafood and Italian restaurants was great The beach was spectacular The resort offered plenty of activities and good evening entertainment The highlight of this resort is the staff who go over and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time and we did

Food: 4/10 Entertainment : 10/10 Local club: 0/10 Room: 8/10 I won’t come back for sure, the variety of food was poor, dj played only Spanish music, but the entertainment was very good. Service is also exceptional.

Paradisus Cancun: Very nice resort, but has issues.

The hotel was very clean, employees were excellent, food was good, rooms were large. They have a coffee bar open on first floor open 24 hours with different types of coffee and flavors. I loved that feature. However, we had to rush down in the morning to place a towel or personal item on a chair to ensure a spot to sit at the pool or on the beach. I HATE having to do that. Also the lounging chairs could not be adjusted in any way. They were solid. So if you had any kind of back issue yo [... read more]u had to stuff towels everywhere to get comfortable. It is very uncomfortable to have to sit at the same angle all day.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Absolutely fabulous resort

The hotel was so clean and tidy. Everything was within a few minutes walking distance. The staff are very friendly, and the food is pretty good. Even better in the A LA Carte restaurants. Steaks at the steakhouse A+++. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Only thing is, we had a swim up pool and could not use it, because they refused to turn the heat on. Beach was closed because it was too rough, and pool was very cold. Windy this time of year (2nd week of December)

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: You won’t be disappointed!

We had three previous stays in Playa Mujeres and this was our first stay at the Catalonia - by far the best resort. Tremendous food options, great staff and service. The resort is beautifully laid out and the beach is perfect for long walks. We will be back.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Wonderful Resort

Beautiful resort. Well worth checking this one out. All of the staff were friendly and super helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Everyday our rooms were cleaned up and restocked as needed. Plenty to do at the resort. The lazy river is one of the best we have been at. There was a movie theater and nightly shows. I recommend trying the fast race car track they have on site. It's a short ride but lots of fun. The entertainment team were full of energy and lots of fun. The food in the rest [... read more]aurants was amazing. The variety and flavor was top notch. If you have kids, there is lots for them to do as well. I also recommend the spa. It was incredible. Can't say enough about the whole resort. You really need to experience it for yourself.

Hyatt Vivid Cancun: Weekend away!

My Husband and I went away for 4 nights, it was truly the best resort vacation we’ve had. The food was incredible- our favourite memories are the fireworks during dinner on the rooftop and the fun hibachi grill dinner. Highly recommend doing the preferred club to have the best royal treatment!

Sandos Cancun: I wish I could give a positive review

The hotel is a true boutique size which was what we were looking for. A lot of the staff is amazing and make your stay there so much better. My big issue is the fact that I slipped on the pool deck and landed on my face. I was not drinking. It is so slippery getting out of the pool, I'm sure I'm not the first or the last to fall. they don't seem to take it very serious. Within a hour I had a black eye and bruising running down on the left side of my fax.. My shoulder was also black and  [... read more]blue and I broke a toe and skinned my knee. I have now gone for an x-ray since I'm home. The pain was so overwhelming I went into shock when I hit the pavement. It's a very long story and what upsets me is they told me I had to pay $150 American for a doctor and sign a waiver indicating it was the fault of the hotel. Of course it is. My husband refused because at the time we didn't know the extent of my injuries and was furious they were telling us we had to pay for a doctor. After that they couldn't have cared less about me. No on followed up to see how I was doing, no apology, no offer of assistance. the next evening I asked the entertainment Manager Alex, if they could turn down the unbelievable loud club thumping music because my head was pounding and he said no. 75% of the guests were over 40 and no one wanted to hear it. We couldn't even talk it was so loud. This music played all day at the pool and all night at the bar and they didn't care what anyone wanted because I wasn't the only one to ask. Finally I spoke with the Hotel Manager about my fall. He apologized and said his staff much have mis-understood their policy because he would have covered the cost of the doctor. My stay was for 2 weeks so they had plenty of time to at least ask me how I was feeling. To explain my service mark, of poor it's because of Management Almost everyone working at the resort was amazing.
