Resonance Blu Santa Maria: Beautiful!

We stayed at the starfish from September 27- October 4 and loved our vacation. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, our room was lovely and big for a junior suite, and the house-keepers cleaned our room every day. The food was good- best bet is to go to the fresh grills. The best part- by far, was the beach. Drinks were awesome- bring a bubba! Loved this resort and had an incredible vacation!

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Awesome Vacation!

The hotel is beautiful and the beach is amazing! The food was good, most of the staff was very nice. The grill staff were not very pleasant, both at lunch and dinner, but I guess if I had to sit near the heat for hours I would be cranky too. We went to two a la carte restaurants and the food in both was terrible. This resort requires quite a bit of walking so be aware of that if this is an issue for you.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: amazing

This resort was the best for service and food I have been to. Everything was top notch.nice quiet relaxing . If you want shows and buffet you can visit the memories resort next door. This is an all adults resort. I would love to visit here again and have told many people about it.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful and well managed resort!

Just got back from Hotel Cayo Santa Maria (ex Eurostars). Been to Cuba more than 10 times and this is our new favorite resort. Check in - Was smooth and was pleasantly surprised to have our rooms ready at 1pm when we arrived at the resort. Room - We had a suite and it was AMAZING. Two big rooms, two bathrooms, clean, modern and ocean view. Perfect if traveling with children. Beach - Beautiful, soft, white sand, clear blue water and wide beach. Food - Good food for Cuba. Loved the grill at th [... read more]e buffet lunch restaurant by the beach. The only place they served lunch buffet was there and the view of the ocean was gorgeous. Breakfast and dinner was also good. They had more choices than other Cuban resorts. However, they didn't have pizza which I love in Cuba (only at the sanck bar by the pool but we never went there). Pool - We used the kids side once and it was nice, clean and cute with animals blowing water. The main pool was closed for renovations. The other one was opened and looked nice. The resort is only 2 years old so it was nice, clean and modern. We went during low season so the entertainment for children wasn't that good. But the days they had Panchito the clown was our kids' favorite. We are definitely going back next year!

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing resort!

Nice hotel, rooms, staff. The best vacation ever!!! I loved the beach and the weather was really nice for october. I recomand the place to any one wanting peace and relaxation. Have a nice trip every one

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: friendly resort and beautiful beach and ocean.

Beach was amazing until the sand was washed away from the high winds of the hurricane that hit Bahamas. Ocean is so beautiful and warm. Hotel large and staff is amazing. Rooms need updating but it look like they were doing that when we were there. Many nice pools. Buffet ok and lots to choose from but long wait at the grill sections. Alacart restaurants were fantastic. 24 hour snack bar was great. Great value for the money...

Melia Buenavista: Big disappointment!

This resort is not 5* hotel at all. Room, garden, beaches are good, people are huge asset of that resort, they trying to do the best they can, very friendly, helpful. The huge disapointment is food and the restaurants. It is barely 2*. We ended up going to have dinners and lunches to Melia Las Dunas, which is 4 stars, but food is much much better.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Dream vacation

we could not find fault with anything in this Resort beach, pools, rooms, staff,dining and grounds were all excellent. We hope to return with our group of friends next year. The bus ride of 1hour 40min. let's you relax and the Cuban way of life travelling through various towns.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Hotel Cayo Santa Maria

The hotel is very modern, the grounds were impeccable, the rooms were very nice, clean and modern,The lobby and dining buildings were all very large clean and airy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The internet service station could have been a little more helpful.

Melia Las Dunas: Awesome family vacation!

The resort is huge and beautiful! The staff is so nice and everyone is smiling and greeting you. Very diversified meals which is great. But the most amazing is the beach. I've been to Turks and Caicos but the beach at Cayo Santa Maria is more beautiful! Wow! :)

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: 'Nice resort' not amazing but not bad by any means

Staff- great. Food - very good suprisingly (not including the buffet). Common areas were well kept. Few loose tiles in pool and some sharp areas (watchout for this with kids). Although everything was great, the rooms were my least favourite of the trip. Contemplated complaining but didnt. They were clean but patio door didnt latch (bugs came in). Memories Paraiso: Wonderful resort, great vacation!

We had a great time at this resort in Sept 2015. It was clean, the staff was friendly and we loved the beach. Always had chairs to lie on in the shade. Great food at the grills and the beach!! Would definitely go back.

Resonance Blu Santa Maria: Beaches make it worth it!

Had a great, relaxing holiday. Didn't enjoy the long drive from the airport. Hotel was very quiet due to time of year. Staff were very hit or miss with the service. Housekeeping was absolutely terrible in terms of not cleaning properly. The shower curtains were absolutely disgusting. The food was ok. Never went hungry. Great little market close by. The beautiful beach and great pools make the trip so worth it. Overall, good holiday for a great price.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Best for R &R

Great resort. SPA section adult only was excellent. Food was above Cuban average.Staff made the vacation great. Beaches the best.One and only complaint children running around lobby bar at 10pm. Will return.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: great resort

Could use basic maintenance and paint touch ups but otherwise it was very nice and beaches are to die for Cigar lounge was fabulous and nightly entertainment was well done Food was good but there's still lots of room for improvement Customer service was A++++++++

Resonance Blu Santa Maria: big resort

We had a good experience, best part was the long beach, sand was like powder, weather was good only one night with rain storm. Like the resort because it doesn't go inland spreads along the shore, I would probably go again

Melia Buenavista: Incredible Experience

If you are looking for a smaller, quiet, adult only resort that provides North American standard of luxury from accommodation to food and service then the Buenavista is for you. The resort amenities and staff were excellent and made our stay there one to remember. We will be back!

People is friendly, hotel is nice, but the food just ok . We will recommend this resort to people who hasn't been to Cuba. It is good experience, especially the amazing beach and view. there are a lots of hotels in cayo Santa Maria, u will have fun in it

Resonance Blu Santa Maria: It is what it is

We have been to this resort before and this time a few changes were seen. They do not include beer or pop in the room fridge any longer. Only water is supplied and you can buy the beer from the lobby bar. I do not consider this all inclusive if you have to buy beer for your room which was previously included . The employees did not look happy and the public washrooms were dirty. We go for the beach and it is still magnificent. The food was not good and that was no surprise.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Not what I expected....

The hotel could use some work. For a new hotel it was falling apart in places...Tiles were missing from the pools, a lack of maintained foliage on the property. There was lots of food, but the quality was below average, as per Cuba. Pay extra and have the Lobster dinner special, it was fantastic. The wait staff was excellent, as was the beach.
