El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Almost perfect !

Before to say something about this resort we have to keep in mind that on 21 of September, Fiona was there, with damaging winds & waves... Issues...yes...but they struggle to get things going, step by step... Beautiful hotel, amazing Roof top room with Jacuzzi. Close to whatever many of us they dream for a perfect vacation... Housekeepers doing a great job!! Excellent food! U have to know what to ask for drinks, otherwise u get a lot of ice in your glass(international method for bartenders in [... read more] the resort). To my surprise, entertainment was good, excepting Friday to Sunday, when resort was invaded by locals (2 nights Pass), and everything from music to food was for them. Bonding between staff, @ any level, was strong & loud...honestly like we never exist there like tourists...This is not a complain, is strict reality... The worst part was yet to come when we left the hotel for the Airport...We got squeezed in a ridiculous small bus, people & luggage, totally uncomfortable for a 45-minute trip...No excuses, no explications, nada...Just get in the car & leave...That was all of us impression... Other than this, beautiful weather, not a drop of rain during the day. I will definitely come back here!

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Nice hotel

Overall, a nice hotel. Much larger grounds than we anticipated. Room was nice, clean: great service. Pool and beach were nice. Staff very friendly. A la cartes were decent. Buffet was small and very repetitive.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Most fun lazy River!

Loved this resort! Lazy River so much fun, had no idea I would spend so much time in it. Adult only the way to go plus Privildge- do it! Your own restaurants and bars with better/top shelf alcohol well worth it. Lobby, hotel room perfect, piano bar fun. Bowling!!!! And entertainment - truly best resort.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Pretty resort

This was my 4th visit . The resort is well kept . I was very disappointed in the service . I couldn't get a waitress to get me a drink , coffee ,ice tea . I wasn't capable of carrying a coffee my hands shake . I burned my hand bad trying . I have copd and needed a bottom floor they put me on the 3rd floor . I was not able to do the steps . I couldn't make it for the my meals . They finally moved me on day 3 . My phone didn't work for the first 9 days and it was to hard for me to walk to front  [... read more]desk easily . The maid was very nice she took good care of my room . They had to fumigate my room there was big bugs crawling on my wall and headboard at night . I will go to a different resort next time . Service for drink at a meal is nice to have . I tipped for every meal but it didn't make a difference. So I stopped near the end of the trip. Food wasn't the best but I could find something to eat .

Ocean Blue and Sand: More wrong then right

Grounds were well maintained, rooms for us and 15 family members were in good condition, minor repair issues. Most staff friendly and attentive. Buffet food limited choice but adequate, a-la-cartes rotated closing, no notice. Most had better cuts, choices on menu for $$$, same with alcoholic drinks, limited inclusive, lots for $$. Restaurant near beach closed all week for lunch until weekend day pass guests arrived. I paid for Privilege service, which ment room was close to beach, but no Resta [... read more]urant near now. One pool closed for week, but opened as we checked out. Sunday, very crowded with week end day pass guests on Saturday. My Butler quit second day, no replacement, calling Privilege reception for anything, required several calls even though they said "yes, right away" . Shuttle service seemed to stop at 6 pm, prime dinner time. One daughter needed wheel chair, they wanted over $500., but saw others who had them free. Beach erosion worse then pictures show, now 4-5 foot cliff for most of beach front forcing loungers and bali-beds to be jammed in small area. Requested bell boy and shuttle for 12 noon check out Sunday,,several calls by me, but 45 minutes late and sent a truck with one seat. Told us they had to check out 400 rooms at noon, shuttle priority for week enders over guest staying all week. HOWEVER...the weather was sunny, hot, no rain all week.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Fall 2022 trip to Senator

Vacation for the books!! Rooms were very clean, staff extremely friendly. Zero line ups for buffet, or beach chairs, hardly any people so very quiet. Only one al la cart to choice daily as it’s their slow time. Would recommend to a friend.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Great Resort

Everything very clean, food was great, service was excellent. Lots of choices for restaurants and bars. Staff very friendly. Shows were great. Only one complaint is that I wish there was a cafe on the resort.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Relaxing as always

This was my 3rd time staying there. I enjoy the size of resort (small). Staff are always very nice and accommodating. My only complaints would be that the night shows are terrible and this time around buffet restaurant was closed for dinner Monday to Thursday leaving 1 less option for dinner.

Well let me say from our last stay in Oct.2018. The resort has deafeningly dropped in service,activities and especially in the food. No food theme nights as in the past. Same arrangement of food lunch and dinner. We had our room fridge out the hole week. No one came to look at it. The beach staff was hardly seen. We got our own drinks. Well short in staff this was our 5th time at the Grand Bahia Principe. Punta Cana and Mexico. .

Riu Republica: Amazing 18+ resort for ages 18-40

This hotel was great for me and my girlfriend It was definitely more of a party resort with around 75% of the guests under age 40. Something was always going on and nightlife was great. Would return!!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Great Getaway

The Dreams Onyx is a great hotel. It is very clean and all the staff were great. The rooms were very comfortable. The restaurants were very good but the buffet could have more and better choices.

The lobby was the best aprt. On arrival the hotel lost our luggage, our room leaked, hounded by staff for google reviews and trip advisor reviews that were forced. Potential, but disappointed in this place.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Excellent time

Hotel was great and had awesome staff amenities and features. We were given a very pleasurable experience, with very friendly onsite staff, and lots of different things like activities and events to participate.

Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata: Family friendly resort

The hotel was well maintained, clean and grounds were beautiful. Everything is close in proximity so that was very nice as well. It’s a smaller resort but has everything you need! We had a great family vacation! The Lolita Mexican A La Carte is a MUST! Justino was an amazing at all the a la carte dinners we had (we had 5!) and all the bartenders at the tiki tiki bar were awesome. Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Well Managed Quality Resort

My wife and I truly enjoyed our week at the Senator. We have travelled many times each year over the last 40 years and given the "price point" we were not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of all areas of this Resort. Many of the common areas (Lobby, Restaurants, Sports Bar, Pools and Theater) were recently rebuilt, so were all new. Lots of Air Conditioning problems according to other guests. We changed rooms once, hence this comment and also talked to other guests while there. The resort was constantly being cleaned and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was excellent in quality and variety, so there was always something suitable to eat at every meal. With regards to Covid, you would think that it no longer exists. Apart from the excellent cleaning, no one was wearing a mask, anywhere. There were a few hand-sanitizing stations, but most times they were empty. Staff would interact with you very closely with no safe space. The shuttle buses were back to pre-covid times with no precautions. Admittedly, the tables in the restaurants were spaced far apart so this was good. Now for the negatives! The evening shows are very amateurish. The music and show schedules were never followed and there was no explanation given. Also, given the large percentage of English-speaking guests, it would be appreciated if a little English is spoken during announcements. The Drinks are all of very low quality, so a familiar drink is not enjoyable because the alcohol is watered-down. The wines are the worst that I have tasted! The Sunwing representative was absent for the entire week, so guests could not get important information like departure pick-up times. The same problem existed at the Playa bachata because I went there 4 times looking for someone. Other Reps from Air Canada, Air Transat, etc. were readily available, but not Sunwing! There was no information posted like the other tour operators. Improvements needed: better quality Alcohol, an entertaining evening show and some live music daily at cocktail hour, also some music in English as opposed to only Spanish because a large percentage of guests are English speaking. I have heard very similar comments from many other guests while I was on the resort. No resort is perfect but if improvement were made to the liquor quality, appropriate evening shows and music, this would be an excellent resort.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Nice place

The hotel was great, the maids did an excellent job. It was a bit of a trial to get fresh water in the room. The restaurants were excellent the buffet not so much. The pools were very nice. Too many restaurants were closed when we were on vacation. Having locals come into the resort on special days was not something I expected for a resort like this, that is the reason I would not recommend this resort to friends.

Activities were great. But wasn’t good at all Room was clean but one time we had a none cleaned towel But it would be better for a 5 stars ranked hotel to have better cleaned rooms and better food We found cockroach in the restaurant and told the manager

If not for the oppressive heat and humidity, this vacation spot would rank as the best of our 5 visits to Punta Cana- all different resorts, mind you. One minor hurdle was the watery welcome mat from the A/C leak, which was repaired within the hour. Really, you don't have to travel to encounter this, so no need to complain. Daily buffet at Acuario was awesome- delicious food, with great variety. Dinner reservations at Tequila, Portofino & MEAT were well worth the trip! Limbo & Rodizio were just a notch below... again, just the heat & humidity dampening the mood. Entertainment options were fun & within reach, as the lobby & pool were just across from our room in Bldg. # 80. Grounds were well looked after. Considering the stresses from the pandemic, & hurricane worries, the hotel & cleaning staff did a commendable job. Special thanks to Yanibel- I so hope I have it right- a concierge who helped me get my eTicket for our departure. I couldn't navigate the all-Spanish instructions. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Vacationed Oct 1 -8 2022

The hotel is amazing, rooms were spacious and clean the beach was absolutely beautiful. The food.....well breakfast and lunch were great, the dinners were not good. For this reason I would not return. They were mostly edible, but not enjoyable. New cooks not really knowing how to cook, portion size - one meal had less than a teaspoon of chicken. Most dinners so over cooked you could barely cut salmon with a knife, you can only imagine how the steak was. Occidental Punta Cana: Beaucoup d’inconvénients !

Nous avons séjourné 7 jours à cet hôtel. Il y a eu beaucoup de problèmes signalés par les membres du groupe (50 personnes) avec qui nous étions. Bris d’air climatisé, manque d’eau dans plusieurs chambres et ce, pendant plusieurs jours. Toujours la même nourriture servie au buffet et la fin de semaine remplie de dominicains qui envahissent les lieux en se croyant tout permis. la nourriture aux restaurants est bonne sans plus, le vin blanc exécrable.
