Riu Merengue: Amazing all around!

The Riu Merengue was excellent!! The food was excellent, wide variety and something for everyone! The staff was great, big smiles all around! The resort was very clean and well kept! Loved the beach! Would recommend to anyone and can't wait to go back!!!

Sol Turquesa Beach: Excellent vacation spot if you don't mind stairs

Our third visit to this resort. Food is ok in the buffet but the Italian restaurant was disappointing. Beach is clean with lots of chairs and shade options. Pools are clean and ideal for those with children. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Riu Bambu: our vacation

resort was very clean, however the language barrier was difficult, catered alot in spanish, the shows were to late,easy access to the beach,the food was so so.Would I return no, very difficult to check in to a room upon arrival 2 hour wait at resort

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Bahama Trip Riu Resport

the musty smell was a bit shocking but after being there for a few days we completely understood why there was a musty smell - with the humidity it would be extremely hard to not have a musty smell but the hotel was extremely clean, the staff was very helpful and if we needed anything every one was more then willing to help. One thing was the line up for the drinks was always a little long so an extra person to help with drinks wouldn't be a bad thing but over all it was extremely enjoyable! :)

Riu Ocho Rios: Best resort ever!!

Amazing food, service, entertainment and beach! Enjoyed my stay very much and will return, all though I found resort big and our room was far from beach. Next stay I will ask for a room closer to main lobby.

Riu Cancun: Amazing Hotel

The hotel was very clean and revenovated a short time ago. It was located on beach which had lots of chairs and space for relaxing, as well as the pools. Lots of activities to do. Close to airport. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Riu Palace Paradise Island: Great Resort

Just got back from RIU Nassau and couldn't be more pleased. 2nd time there after an 8 year absence and very happy. Food good, especially in 2 of the a LA carts. Buffet was above average, not sure what anyone could complain about. I would return in a minute! Certainly recommend to anyone.

Riu Palace Pacifico: Very Nice Resort

Grounds were clean, beach nice. Restaurants...buffet lots of selections, Steak house just alright, Kyoto and Krystal were nice....a little lacking of the atmosphere. didn't go to the Mexican. I thought it was nice that the brought in a Mariachi band, had opera singers. Entertainment was better the first week. Rooms were nice, moved to the sunnier side the 2nd week which was nice

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: the best vacation i had

the hotel was clean ,the staff I can t say more except very professional ,curtious,always there when you need them. the food unbelieveable,tasty all Jamaican treat at your finger tip.the entertainment spectacular.i am going back to this resort next year,and will book with tripcentral.

Riu Caribe Cancun: amaxing

Was very nice resort , good food , the people work there friendly , my room was real nice , everything was good .easy take the bus cheap ,,town real nice,, beach and the pool real nice ,, we have a good time .will go back

Riu Palace Paradise Island: great little getaway!

I just got back from four days at the Riu. The resort was clean, from the dinning areas, to the lobby, to the pool and beach. I watched the employees clean the pool in the morning, and I was very pleased with how they cleaned the pool area. The washrooms in the lobby were also always kept very clean. The staff was friendly, and my favourite part was the beach. It was such a nice beach front, and they kept it nice and clean aswell. I noticed half the people were tipping bar tenders and about half [... read more] of the people were not. And I found I didn't get served any different from those tipping. The food was good I went with someone who has many food allergies and she also found plenty to eat. I never had a problem getting water bottles either, just request at the front desk for them to bring it to your room. I also read reviews about dirty water coming from the taps and shower. I had no problem and showered everyday. The air conditioning also worked really well in my room. I stayed in the supior oceanview, not sure if that made a difference compared to the standard rooms. The only downfall was it was a lot of couples and older singles. Not a party vacation place for a group of young people, but a great place for a relaxing vacation.

Riu Emerald Bay: Okay resort, not much to do

The a la carte restaurants aren't the best. The food was good tho. We only went to one restaurant for breakfast and dinner and a different one for lunch. The entertainment was good. We mostly played in the pool with the family. The trip would've been better if there were more activities available.

Riu Cancun: Beautiful Resort!

Riu Cancun was beautiful! We have stayed at many resorts, but this was probably the cleanest most modern one we have been to. The staff were very accommodating at the front desk as we requested to change rooms and it was no problem. The cleaning staff were always working hard..never saw any dirt. It does take a long time to get a drink at the bar usually, but the bartenders do a great job. Drinks were amazing! I like to have a good time too, trust me, but I'm in my early 30s and felt really old there! other than that, it was still a great vacation! We found a quiet pool, food was Good and Oceanview wad amazing!

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Excellent resort!

Beautiful resort, large clean suites, dining is spectacular - especially the lunch BBQ at the pool! Lobster, sushi, guacamole made daily. Everything you could possibly want - even Canadian Club! Only downside is the beach. Black sand gets too hot in 100 degree weather. Pools are awesome and fun times at the swim up bar!

Riu Palace Jamaica: Excellent

Excellent place, just like new, clean, clean, clean, wonderful staff, excellent food good variety, lovely beach, good entertainment, best hotel room I have every stayed in, first time I stayed in a Riu resort, would recommend.

Riu Cancun: amazing Resort !

Just returned form Riu Cancun, all was perfect.. modern Hotel, very clean, we had a room on 12th floor, view was amazing. located center of everything. Beach was clean and water was quite warm, just few minute walk down the beach past Riu Palace, the beach was perfect shallow, clear, sandy water.. very warm for swimming or just soaking in the sun. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was kind of sketchy is that assistant Hotel Supervisor wanted to charge us $100.00 US dollars for 4 hrs extra stay in our room. We asked the front desk earlier in the morning if we can stay, we were told yes, on the first floor for $50.00 until 4pm. when we came back to check out from our room at noon and move our luggage to 1st floor until departure, all the sudden Hotel supervisor said, no rooms available, but its $100.00 if we want it, he can find us a room.. Sketchy.. we felt he was trying to rip us off, so we refused. All in all we would return to Riu Cancun, but there are so many new nice hotels around, even 3.5 stars that are very good and lot cheaper, beach is way better, just minutes away.

Riu Palace Pacifico: A Wonderful Experience & Vacation

This holiday was wonderful, and the employees of the hotel made the vacation even better. It started with the doorman, Octavio; what a charmer, and if we could have taken him home with us, we would have. The entertainment staff were fun, kind, and gracious. The only disappointment we had was being told the incorrect start time for the show, arrived for the end. The food, and staff in the dining areas were fantastic as well, and I would not have a problem recommending this hotel to a friend.

Riu Palace Jamaica: Amazing Resort!!

We went here for out honeymoon.. told them we were on our honeymoon, got upgraded to Oceanview suite! The room, lobby, restaurants, and beach was all awesome!! Also, I've never experienced such amazing customer service before - everyone was so friendly and nice (and would go out of their way to help us)! This was an adults only resort, so the people staying here were mature & handled themselves quite nicely. Me & my wife are in our mid to late 20's, i think we were the youngest couple there.. Riu Palace Antillas: Not Happy

The palace closed the day we arrived and we where suppose to be able to use it we were never told of this. Food fair at best, but a staff member on beach named "Lord" was only willing to do his job for a tip. I spoke to the manager about not liking this, he spoke to his employee and then the guy confronted us and was threatening. We spoke to asst manager of resort again and brought witnesses to this, he assured us he would be dealt with and nothing changed. I was nervous to be at pool alone. Riu Palace Costa Rica: Riupalacecostarica

Rooms not good too much walking not a value no shade manager great, bar staff great, resort not appealing !!!! food culd be better !!! Resort is not wat Yu expect . Riu beside it was beautiful with lots going on . BBQ was good at the pool , swim up pool smelt of urine washrooms were far away shuld be closer They need to have a shuttle service . The shows at night were fantastic very excellent .
