Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Huge Resort

The hotel is big and the rooms are very nice. The foods are good and the services are also good. The waiter and waitress should smile a little bit not just doing their job because they have no choice. I was served by one waiter which I find it rude but since I'am on vacation, I did not let this situation bother me.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Terrific Resort

Great resort at an affordable price.We enjoyed every day here.Mainly we just relaxed enjoyed great food,soaked up the sun ,met interesting people.the staff was very friendly and accomodating. My only complaint was the resort was selling time share vacations and the sales women were persistent ,beautiful , but persistent.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: outstanding!

My husband and I just returned from our vacation to The Jewel Runaway Bay to celebrate our first anniversary. The whole resort was wonderful from the staff, to the food, entertainment and the hotel itself. I loved that our shower had 6 shower heads, so awesome! Make sure to visit Clive at the arts and crafts hut to buy a painting, he's got so much talent. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Grand Hotel, All Inclusive - Not Quite

Beautiful hotel and grounds with adjoined buildings and elevator service. Service was formal and missed that tropical feeling and friendliness of staff. Extra charges if you are not booked in Club Diamond or Gold: safe fee is $6.00/per day and requires a $50.00 deposit; one hour Wi-Fi per day only without charge (only available in the lobby) exclusive bars and restaurants to Club Diamond or Gold and Privilege members. Worthwhile to upgrade if you need these services, however I do not see how a r [... read more]oom safe can be considered an option when travelling. High level of security present on every hotel floor in the evening and around the grounds by day.

Couples Tower Isle: Amazing holiday!

We had another great holiday to Couples resorts, Couples Tower Isle has wonderful food with 4 restaurants to choose from, only 2 requiring reservations. We were just here for 5 nights to surprise some friends but really enjoyed the island every day. Our room had a lovely ocean view and was very clean and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make sure your holiday is everything you want it to be. We will return here again.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Beautiful Resort!

Resort grounds and pools are lovely. Room was huge and maid service was impeccable. Breakfast buffet at the pool was amazing - what a view! Jerk chicken at the beach for lunch was great. We ate at all of the à la cartes (except for the Indian) for dinner and enjoyed them all - great that there are no limitations on how many times you can eat at these restaurants. We did one excursion - catamaran trip to Negril/Rick's Café - it was a blast:) Beach was OK - manmade so not great for walking and the sand felt funny but the water was clear and warm for swimming. Location - a bit isolated - i.e. expensive taxi fare and long bus rides to anywhere. Flights with Transat were on time. I would definitely go back!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing resort!

This resort was awesome! Everyone who works there was amazing! Great service, awesome food, clean, fun, Starr friends amazing! Housekeeping awesome! Room always taken care of everyday! Pool is awesome and beach is beautiful. Many chairs available and always clean towels available. Love the people that work at this resort they really make your vacation a good one!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Excellent Resort

This resort was awesome - Food was excellent . There was plenty to do and the events in the evening were wonderful. The staff were knowledgeable and aimed to please, providing us with both Jamaican insight and the opportunity to experience the islands full beauty. I would certainly go this resort again.

Riu Ocho Rios: Awesome resort and friendly workers too

The resort was very clean, great selection of food. I was very impressed for my first trip. It took us a bit to get booked in because our room was not ready but all workers were awesome and caring. I would go back again.

Grand Decameron Montego Beach: Poor Reception

This was our 5th visit and we enjoyed it but upon our arrival we were disappointed with our reception. We arrived at noon, check in was at 3:00pm and it was late in the evening before we finally got a room. Apparently the problem was they didn't have one for us! This was our first time booking with Air Canada Vacations and I blame them, not the resort. Once everything was straightened away, things were good.

Sandals Jamaica Ocho Rios: Fabulous Resourt - highly recommended

The staff were wonderfully friendly and the service that they provided was refreshing. The food was always very good, fresh and lots of variety. The accommodations were very clean and the location can't be beat!

Grand Palladium Jamaica: excellent resort

I booked it for my daughter and son in law's honeymoon and they love it. They would go back. They enjoyed every minute of it. They said the resort was beautiful, the food was great and the pple and service excellent.

Riu Ocho Rios: Amazing Resort!

The resort was very clean, the grounds were kept very well. The beach was amazing, also cleaned every night. The pool was very large and had plenty of room. The food was pretty good overall. Most of the staff on the resort where very nice and always willing to help you. Now the bad stuff, the bathrooms where way to far from the pool. Durning my stay the pool was closed one full day and my son was very disappointed. Too many people the day before had urinated in the pool. So we no longer used the [... read more] pool after that, we went to the ocean. I found that some of the main bar staff EXPECTED a tip everytime you got a drink. If we did not they where very rude and disrespectfull to my family. Overall my family and I had an AMAZING TIME!!

Riu Ocho Rios: good resort

the bar service sucked half the time even if you where willing to tip the maid service was great went on a few outing they where not to bad the only thing I didn't like was they expected you to tip them for everything or they never came back

Sandals Jamaica Montego Bay: Great resort

Grounds were clean and beautifully manicured. The service was second to none! I would definitely return to this resort! The reason I didn't give it 5 star was the room was a bit outdated, but it was very clean, and I had a spa pedicure and was shocked that they used previously used tools on my feet. I thought that was pretty diagusting. The technician was wonderful and did a great job but I was very put off by her rummaging through a makeup bag to find the "least used" emery board to file my nai [... read more]ls with. So, I wouldn't recommend a pedicure!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Jamaica is the best, amazing pool and hotel

Beautiful property, great service, friendly people who are singing and enjoying life. Jamaica has a positive vibe and is a wonderful country with blue waters. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to return.

very nice resort very friendly people food is the best we have ever had down south beds are even comfortable to sleep in the only bad part about the resort is it has a vey small beach but there is pools everywhere so we didn't really miss the beach too much

Food was amazing, always something good to eat. Pools lovely. Sea clear, and you could walk out far, great for children. Active resort, never a dull moment if you are on the entertainment side. Kids club activities were great for our 8,10 year old.

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Awesome time!

We have been to Jamaica several times and the Royal Decameron was the best by far! We found the resort to be clean and the staff extremely friendly. The bungalows are great! We loved ours! Housekeeping did a great job, changing linens every day and the best crisp white sheets I've ever seen at a resort! The food was really good, great variety, too bad mangos were out of season when we were there! Couples Negril: A little disapointed

The rooms were nice. I have been to Sandles , Riu, and Sunset at the palms. I have to rate Couples last on my list. The grounds just didn't 't wow me , and the food was a lot of the same thing. Just not enough variety. Breakfast was the best meal. champaign was a nice treat. the bar in our room was empty when we arrived and it took until the next day when we filled our sheet and left on the door before it was stocked. One thing I liked was having the loung cushion at the beach to take in the water, also the second roped area in the water. I love swimming laps.
